Clear Rooms of Enemies

The island of Tascos has several dungeons you can enter and inside you will find puzzle rooms. The solutions to these puzzles will involve placing blocks onto the pressure plates, or toggling switches and timed buttons in order to unlock doors or reveal hidden chests. In most cases you do not have to clear the rooms of enemies to progress, you just need to solve the puzzle. If you are not low on health it is recommended that you do not move onto the next room until you have cleared out all the enemies in the current one as doing so can reward you with one or more chests to open and these can contain additional gems, health, or useful items.

Break Everything

Make sure while you are in the overworld of Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos you continually cut the grass and break all the pots or anything else that gets in your way in order to find hearts, magic, or other items. Although the drop rate in dungeons is significantly lower it is still essential that you continue breaking everything as the hearts you find can provide a vital lifeline.

How to get Quests

Eventually as more buildings are added the village of Intori of will grow and NPCs will start to inhabit it. Make sure whenever you see a new NPC in the village you speak to them. Although some will offer you only an irrelevant line of text there will be others that will provide quests you can undertake. These are worthwhile doing as they generally lead to useful new items and upgrades.

Learn the Combat in the Overworld

In order to get to grips with the fighting mechanics in Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tascos as quickly as possible it is recommended that before you attempt entering a dungeon you first spend some time fighting the many enemies that are scattered throughout the overworld. If you start off by picking out the weaker enemies it will give you the opportunity to learn enemy attack animations, so you know when to block against the different enemies. Having this knowledge will be crucial if you want to survive when you enter the dungeons.

How to Upgrade Early

There are plenty of upgrades on offer in Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tascos and deciding which ones you should pick can be confusing. It is recommended that to begin with you focus on those that offer strength and health and getting them as high as possible as these two attributes will be the most beneficial in the early game. In order to make yourself as effective as possible for when you enter the dungeons you should level up attack speed, damage increase, and sword reach.

Build the Village of Intori

The main objective in Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasco is to spend the gems you earn on your adventures on new buildings for the village of Intori in order to upgrade your character. From Weapons Smiths to fisheries, each building you place in the village will enable you to unlock the ability to improve your strength, your stamina, unlock new combat abilities and upgrade your tools. Providing you have the required number of gems you can select which buildings you would like to build and where you want to place them by approaching Griff's building which is in the center of the town.
