Rocket League Sideswipe is a free-to-play vehicular soccer mobile spinoff of Rocket League. The game replicates the gameplay of the original game, but in a two-dimensional space. You compete in short 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 matches that are played online.

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include how to unlock infinite boost and how to perform powerful shots. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a Beginners Guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:
Unlock Infinite Boost
Infinite boost in Rocket League Sideswipe can only be used in the Freeplay mode, which is basically the game's practice mode. To access infinite boost go to the 'Training' tab and select 'Start Match'. During the match tap on the 'Settings' button at the top right of the screen and select 'Show Options'. You will then see the 'Unlimited Boost' option in Freeplay which can be enabled. Once enabled you can use it whenever you want, it will however become disabled when you leave the Freeplay mode.
Powerful Shots
You can get a powerful shot by simply spamming the boost button in front of the ball but if you want to perform a very powerful shot you can do so by getting as close to the ball as you can then doing a flip. The flip will launch the ball with a powerful thrust in the direction you are pointing to.
Jumps get Reset on the Ground
In Rocket League Sideswipe you can only jump twice once you are off the ground. Jumps are crucial as they allow you to make powerful shots (see tip above). Keep in mind that your jumps get automatically reset when you are in contact with the ground, regardless of whether its the lower or upper ground you choose to land.

| How do you fake a flip shot? |
| You can do this by boosting up to the ball and slightly nudging the joystick upwards when hitting the ball. Doing this will put a similar effect on the ball as flipping. |
| How do you jump simultaneously? |
| If you spam the Jump-Boost, making sure you are constantly making contact with the ground and leaving it, the jump reset that occurs (see tip above) will allow you to jump several times simultaneously. |
| How many jumps can you do once you are off the ground? |
| You can only jump twice. |
