Choose heroes of different classes and skill sets. Summon mounts, team up to defeat your enemies, and use magic abilities and epic weapons. Death is not the end in Ride Out Heroes as you can revive as a baby dragon where surviving for another 30 seconds will result in you returning to the battlefield. Check out our Ride Out Heroes Walkthrough and Guide to get help in the game.
Choosing your Hero
There is currently a total of 9 heroes from which you can choose from in Ride Out Heroes. If you are first starting out you should experiment with each of the heroes when they become available to see which one best suits your game style. Initially you will be limited to only Greenwood Ranger Robin, Dark Succubus Lilith, and Dancing Assassin Hasan-e, each of which will have two unique abilities and two unique weapons that only they can wield.
Always Be Alert
As with all battle royal games you need to be aware of your surroundings and always be alert if you hope to survive to the end. Constantly check all around you to ensure nobody is trying to sneak up to you and listen out for sounds.
Use your Compass
If you hear gunshots check your compass at the top of the screen to see what direction the gunfire was coming from and then decide whether to investigate or avoid that direction.
Stay Out of the Fog
Make sure you stay out of the fog as the playing area shrinks as you will take damage over time if you are caught out in it.
Keep Moving
Avoid remaining stationery in the open as you will present an easy target for snipers. A good way to avoid this happening is to use your mount to become a fast moving target that is difficult to pick off.
Collect Shrine Rewards
During certain times a notification will appear on your screen telling you that the shrines are now open. Try to reach these shrines which are inicated on your map as yellow chests as quickly as you can as praying to them will reward 2 legendary class weapons, or 2 legendary skills, or 2 legendary armour. A shrine can be prayed to up to a total of two times, which means that if you get both prayers you can get a total of 4 legendaries. Other players will also be going to these shrines to collect the rewards they offer so you need to be prepared for a fight.
Unlock Talents
Each of the characters in Ride Out Heroes has a talent ring that can be accessed at the 'Hero' menu that will allow you to unlock passive abilities and upgrades to existing skills for that hero by spinning the talent wheel. To spin the talent wheel costs gold and that hero's energy and the talent you unlock is completely random and new, you will not get duplicates. Spend gold you earn to unlock talents at the talent wheel so you power up your hero. You can upgrade your hero's ultimate talents at any time as they are separate from those found in the talent wheel.
Complete Daily Missions
To spin the talent wheel requires hero energy which you can earn by completing the daily missions or purchase using real money by visiting the shop. Completing the Daily Missions will also award you gems, gold, and stars. Stars are used to fill up the star chest which once full can be opened to recieve random rewards.
Complete Weekly Quests
Aside from the Daily Missions there are also Weekly Quests. Although these are more difficult and will take longer to complete they are worthwhile tackling as the rewards that can be gained from them are substantially better than those of Daily Missions.
Season Pass
In Ride Out Heroes the Season Pass enables you to get rewards such as gold, gems, and various skins by getting the stars awarded for completing Daily Missions and Weekly Quests. There is a Premium Pass that offers better rewards but you will need to spend real money to purchase it.
