It came free with the psp giga pack which is what I recieved for christmas along with WRC FIA World Rally Championship. I have never enjoyed writing long introductions so on with the game! Main Menu Options After loading the game you will arive at the main menu with 6 options awaiting you I will briefly explain them here and in more detail later on. Quick Game - Instantly puts you in a game with two randomly selected teams that you have unlocked. Unfair odds can become quite common on this game mode after you start purchasing additional teams. Exhibition - This is the longer version of Quick Game. Here you can choose both your and your opponents team yourself. The options you can select are difficulty which goes from easy (Amateur) to very hard (Master Class) respectivly. The match length goes from 4 minutes (2 per half) up to 10 minutes (5 per half). The extra time options determine what happens after 90 minutes are up and the scores are equal. If "none" is selected the game will end as a draw. If "Normal" is selected two extra periods will be played, and then if there is still no result penalties will be played, with sudden death deciding them if it comes to it. If "Silver Goal" is selected a goal must be scored then if the scoring team lasts to the end of the current extra period in the lead they will win the game. "Golden Goal" is similar to "Silver Goal" only once the goal is scored the game ends then and there. The penalties option determines if penalties are played. If the extra time option uses penalties to decide the game the game will be classed as a draw if it comes to penalties and they are not on. Finally the stadium option selects what statium you will be playing in, not all stadiums will be unlocked at the start of the game. Challenge Mode - Challenge mode is the same to exhibition only in this game mode you will score points for good play and lose points for bad play. Press square in game after selecting challenge mode for more help. Cups - This option is for when you want to play various tournaments. Winning cups will unlock tokens which you can use to buy new teams to use in the other game modes. This is also the place to buy new teams. Select the tournament that your team would be playing in and select them and press X to buy the team. You can only buy teams if you have enough tokens to buy them. Multiplayer - Use the multiplayer option to play games with your friends. Options - Here you can display the controls and change the audio and display settings to your preference. You can also manage your profile here and save your game. ===[TEAMS]===================================================================== Here I will list all of the teams avaliable in the game, their price, which cup to buy them form and their rating out of 5. If you are having trouble finding your team please use the search feature mentioned at the top of the guide and enter your teams name. World Tournament Tokens Avaliable - Amateur 500 Tokens - Pro 750 Tokens - World Class 1000 Tokens - Master Class 1500 Tokens 32 Teams 8 Groups and Knockout 1 Leg in Group Stage 2 Advance per Group 1 Leg in Knockout Stage This is one of the most difficult cups due to the large amount of teams that have a 4+ star rating. Unless your being patriotic I suggest using Italy or Spain because they have the highest ratings in the tournament (5 Star). Euro Cup Tokens Avaliable - Amateur 500 Tokens - Pro 750 Tokens - World Class 1000 Tokens - Master Class 1500 Tokens 16 Teams 4 Groups and Knockout 1 Leg in Group Stage 2 Advance per Group 1 Leg in Knockout Stage The most difficult cup in the game due to teams with high ratings and less low rating "filler teams". The good thing with the "filler teams" is that you have higher odds of being stuck in the same group as the high rating teams. Once again either Italy or Spain are the way to go. South Americas Cup Tokens Avaliable - Amateur 500 Tokens - Pro 750 Tokens - World Class 1000 Tokens - Master Class 1500 Tokens 10 Teams 2 Groups and Knockout 1 Leg in Group Stage 2 Advance per Group 1 Leg in Knockout Stage Brazil and Argentia are the opponents to be wary of here. However if you choose one of them that's one less difficult team to worry about... Americas Cup Tokens Avaliable - Amateur 500 Tokens - Pro 750 Tokens - World Class 1000 Tokens - Master Class 1500 Tokens 12 Teams 2 Groups and Knockout 1 Leg in Group Stage 2 Advance per Group 1 Leg in Knockout Stage Costa Rica and United States are the best bets here but you will most probably not notice the difference. Africa Cup Tokens Avaliable - Amateur 500 Tokens - Pro 750 Tokens - World Class 1000 Tokens - Master Class 1500 Tokens 24 Teams 4 Groups and Knockout 1 Leg in Group Stage 2 Advance per Group 1 Leg in Knockout Stage Cameroon are way above the average competition here but look out for Nigeria, Senegal or South Africa as they are not far behind. Asia & Oceania Cup Tokens Avaliable - Amateur 500 Tokens - Pro 750 Tokens - World Class 1000 Tokens - Master Class 1500 Tokens 16 Teams 4 Groups and Knockout 1 Leg in Group Stage 2 Advance per Group 1 Leg in Knockout Stage Iran is the best team here but will most likely not notice the difference. Euro Club Cup Tokens Avaliable - Amateur 500 Tokens - Pro 750 Tokens - World Class 1000 Tokens - Master Class 1500 Tokens 32 Teams 8 Groups and Knockout 2 Legs in Group Stage 2 Advance per Group 2 Legs in Knockout Stage Alot of high ranking teams to choose from here. Once again the previously mentioned "filler teams" like "Crystal Palace (1 star)" may be your saviour here. ===[CHALLENGE]================================================================= Challenge Mode Guide This is the most interesting game mode of this game. This is normal football with a difference. In this game your score points for good football such as fluent passing, well timed tackling and obviously goals, but you lose points for poor play such as losing possesion, bad or dangerous tackling or conceding goals. You need to achieve a certain score to complete the challenge. There are 7 different challenges of increasing difficulty each one is unlocked after you complete the challenge before it. Challenge Mode Tips Any tips you have would be appreciated please send them to the address at the very top of the guide. You will recieve full credit and acknowledgement for your tip. You can choose your own team on this game mode. Take advantage of this and choose the the best team you have to increase your chances of winning. Don't worry if your a little bit behind near the end. You can recieve 700 extra points at the end of the game if you reach certain parameters. You will recieve 100 points if you get no yellow cards 200 points if you get no red cards 200 points if you concede no goals 200 points if you have more possesion than the opponent If the end of the game is near and your near your target points, passing the ball about between your players may be a safe way to slightly increase your points. Don't be afraid to use slide tackles.
