Throw a Flash Bomb in front of one Kut-Ku and attack the other one. When the effect wears off, throw another Flash Bomb in front of the Kut-Ku that is being stunned by your first Flash Bomb and continue attacking the Kut-Ku that you are attacking in the first place. Repeat this process until one Kut-Ku is dead. Then,you can concentrate on attacking the last Kut-Ku and clear the quest. Do not bring poison smoke bombs because they are not effective against the Kut-Kus and I don't think there are any Vespoids in the quest.Even if there is, they won't be so irritating that you want to poison them to death.

I used the Crystal Nova hammer. This way, you can break their faces easier. I usually bring a few psychoserums, 2 max potions, 10 mega potions, 10 potions, 10 herbs, 10 blue mushrooms, 10 honey, a pitfall trap, a shock trap and 8 tanq bombs. Try to kill the pink kut ku first since I find that they are easier to kill and also weaker. Try to stay near their legs since they like to do their spin thing with their tails and this way, the kut ku will spin harmlesly and you can keep hitting it. When they limp, trap them. You get beter rewards. I usually end up killing the pink one and then trap the blue one. Make sure you paint them both. For me, the pink one shows up first and it takes all of 2 minutes to kill it. After you defeat the first one, go after the second one. I don't use flash or sonic bombs since they go into rage mode more often when you use them. Good luck and hope I helped

For me I only brought 10 max potions, 10 potions and paintballs. I used the sword devil slicer and I fought both kut ku at the same time. Jus go under 1 pf yhe kut ku and keep attacking it. Its easy.
