I suggest you use a weapon with fire attributes because a Gypceros is weak against fire and bring like 10 mega potions or potions.Also bring antidotes.When you get stunned by the flash thing, move your moving button alot and repeatly press X while you're at it. If you're using a sword attack under the stomach(he can't really hit you unless he charges or something)

Gycepros is very easy...Bring your strongest weapon with either a fire or no attribute. Aim for his head to break his crystal and bring about 10 potions, a farcaster, atleast 5 mega potions if it's your first time, some paintballs, a shocktrap and a pitfall trap, and some good armour. Get him caught in the traps and attack his head and once his crystal is gone just look for a good time to attack and go for it but don't stay by him for too long. The gycepros usually can't hit you from beneath him. WATCH OUT!!! If he plays dead and the eyeball goes away and he isn't moving it does not always mean he is dead...If he is playing dead and you get near him and he jumps up you will lose most or all of your life.... When I done that quest I used djinn or wyvern blade "fall",depends which ones more
Comfortable for you.bring potions if you want,it will take about 5 minutes to kill
Him with wyvern blade "fall" and 10 mins with djinn,and a tip if he unexpectedly dies HE IS NOT DEAD BACK AWAY OR HE WILL HURT YOU! Hope this helped good luck!

Take slayer_dude's tip on the Back away when he just falls over...gypseros is really good at playing dead...i found that out the hard way...anyway the Blade I defeated'em with is The Red Saber it works pretty well you just need to watch out of when he play's dead, Flashes his horn and goes into a rage...when he plays dead if you have a rock throw it at him he'll get up and go into a rage, then the onley thing I can say to do is RUN!!! If you can try to get him to come to area 6 or area 1 those are the easiest places to kill him with out getting attacked by other monsters...and if he flashes run as far as you can and shield your self!

P.s normally when he plays dead he's onley like one or two hit's away from being dead... Hope I helped!

You should use a fire element weapon.I used my kut ku stave because I'm a ranger.u will also need about 10 antidotes.u can create antidotes by combinin a blue mushroom + a antidote herb.i don't know what to do with traps but you could use one.i hope this helps

He is pretty easy if you have a sword like velocidrome bite.you can block when he flashes light everywhere.so then you wont get dizzy.but beware when he looks like hes dying and the music stops do not go near him he is playing dead!I hope this helps.

The blango destroyer+ is qwite effecrive it clobbers both gypseros and purple gypseros the only difference I can see is the purple one has a lil less hp and alot more attack and a tinsy bit smarter hope I helped good hunting
