Ace Combat: Joint Assault Cheats and Tips

When your plane crashed, or the mission has failed, go to your psp home and simply restart the game, and loading it from where you last saved. Also make sure that the autosave function in the options menu is turned off.

The following parts become available when you complete the corresponding task.

Avionics

Unlock AAM Jammer:

Destroy the Ace named 'Hayate' in mission 17.

Unlock Ace's Amulet:

Destroy the Ace named 'Vulcan' in mission 21A under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough) or 'Garnet' in mission 21B.

Unlock Adv. FCS:

Destroy the Ace named 'Sphinx' in mission 6 under the Ace difficulty.

Unlock Adv. SA Radar:

Destroy the Ace named 'Katana' in mission 2 under the Ace difficulty or 'Mr. 8' in mission 12B.

Unlock AMFD:

Destroy the Ace named 'Watercress' in mission 1 under the Ace difficulty.

Unlock Argus:

Destroy the Ace named 'Element' in mission 16 under the Ace difficulty.

Unlock Earth Shaker:

Destroy the Ace named 'Bloodstone' in mission 14 under the Ace difficulty.

Unlock Emergency APS:

Destroy the Ace named 'Hengel' in mission 8.

Unlock Fenrir ECMS:

Destroy the Ace named 'Kraken' in mission 11 under the Ace difficulty.

Unlock GAF-1 Type AA:

Destroy the Ace named 'Lily' in mission 20 under the Ace difficulty.

Unlock GAF-1 Type AS:

Destroy the Ace named 'Nightowl' in mission 15 under the Ace difficulty or Flight Time achievement 10:00.

Unlock GAF-1 Type HS:

Destroy the Ace named 'Kelpie' in mission 19 under the Ace difficulty.

Unlock Hawk Eye:

Destroy the Ace named 'Osaka' in mission 3 under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough).

Unlock Raven:

Destroy the Ace named 'Balalaika' in mission 5A or 'Jolly' in mission 5B.

Unlock Salamander:

Destroy the Ace named 'Kelpie' in mission 19.

Unlock Sniper OS:

Destroy the Ace named 'Offside' in mission 12A under the Ace difficulty or 'Mr. 8' in mission 12B under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough).

Unlock Terra Hammer:

Destroy the Ace named 'Zircon' in mission 7.

Unlock Tracer:

Destroy the Ace named 'Balalaika' in mission 5A under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough).

Unlock Adv. Titanium Armour:

Destroy the Ace named 'Nightowl' in mission 15 under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough) or Flight Time achievement 08:20.

Unlock Anti-Ground Armour:

Destroy the Ace named 'Offside' in mission 12A under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough).

Unlock Beatle Armour:

Destroy the Ace named 'Balalaika' in mission 5A or 'Jolly' in mission 5B.

Unlock Ceramic Armour:

Destroy the Ace named 'Gizmo' in mission 9.

Unlock CFRP Conversion:

Destroy the Ace named 'Bloodstone' in mission 14.

Unlock Composite Armour:

Destroy the Ace named 'Kelpie' in mission 19 under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough).

Unlock DA Armour:

Unlock RAM Coat:

Destroy the Ace named 'Katana' in mission 2 under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough).

Unlock Scale Armour:

Destroy the Ace named 'Kraken' in mission 11.

Unlock TiAl Armour:

Destroy the Ace named 'Buzzard' in mission 10 under the Ace difficulty.

Unlock Titanium Armour:

Destroy the Ace named 'Onyx' in mission 4 under the Hard difficulty (second playthrough).

The following medals are awarded when you complete the corresponding task.

Armament Specialist:

Unlock ALL aircrafts, colors, weapons, parts, and emblems.

Bronze the Ace:

Destroy 200 enemies.

Bronze Medal of Excellence:

Get an 'S' rank in ALL missions under the Normal difficulty.

Conqueror:

Finish campaign with longest path (18 missions).

Expert Marksman:

Destroy 50 enemies with machine gun.

Ghost Hunter:

Destroy 20 Spiridus or Orgoi.

Gold the Ace:

Destroy 1000 enemies.

Gold Medal of Excellence:

Get an 'S' rank in ALL missions under the Ace difficulty.

Guardian of London:

Get an 'S' rank in mission 12A/12B under the Normal or higher difficulty.

Guardian of San Fransisco:

Get an 'S' rank in mission 21A/21B under the Normal or higher difficulty.

Guardian of Tokyo:

Get an 'S' rank in mission 5A/5B under the Normal or higher difficulty.

Legendary Wings:

Win 20 missions with A6M5 Zero or F6F-5 Hellcat.

Marksman:

Destroy 5 enemies with machine gun.

Sharpshooter:

Destroy 15 enemies with machine gun.

Silver the Ace:

Destroy 500 enemies.

Silver Medal of Excellence:

Get an 'S' rank in ALL missions under the Hard difficulty.

Swift Hunter:

Finish campaign with shortest path (16 missions).

Wolf Hunter:

Shoot down 50 Varcolacs.

Complete the ALL the missions in the indicated difficulty setting to unlock the corresponding SP mission.

Unlock SP1 Mission:

Complete ALL missions under the Hard difficulty.

Unlock SP2 Mission:

Beat ALL missions under the Ace difficulty.

When you reach 100 sorties you will be awarded this emblem.

Complete ALL the missions in Hard mode to unlock the toughest difficulty setting of the game.

When you complete the following tasks the corresponding aircraft will become available.

Unlock X-02:

Complete mission SP 01.

Unlock Falken:

Complete Mission SP 02.

Unlock Fenrir:

Complete Mission 21A in Ace mode.

Unlock Varcolac:

Complete Mission 21A with an 'S' rank in Ace mode.
