The best tactic to take down powerful enemies quickly up close is to dual wield. Although it will decrease your accuracy dual wielding with two weapons will double your firepower.

There are a total of 18 perks to choose from and it is advised that before you start randomly unlocking each of them you take the time to study each of them to learn what they have to offer before committing points to them. Each perk can be leveled up 5 times so make sure you know what the upgrade levels unlock. Perks are split into three catagories (Stealth, Mayhem, and Tactical) and every time you kill an enemy, the way you kill them adds to the rank of the corresponding Perk.

Don't ignore your map. Usually there will be more than one path to get from point A to point B and using the map will enable you to take the shortest route.

There are over 200 collectables scattered around the in-game world so don't be afraid to take your time and explore every room you come across. Use your map to keep an eye on things you haven't checked out yet, and be sure to explore them.

Whenever there is an opportunity to find and eliminate Komandants you should do so otherwise you risk them calling for backup which will cause you problems. Komandants are easy to take down and you will acquire Enigma Codes from any that you kill which you can then use in the Enigma Machine to unlock secret missions called Uberkomandant which will involve you tracking down high ranking Nazi enemies.
