Inventory Tips

Try not to pick up normal items, unless you need them. There is no point collecting lots of normal items as they only take up space in your invenotry and their sell value is low. Don't equip items that are useless to your class and remember that magic items are worth more than armor and weapons. Use and collect relics and charms, stack them up for the bonus. Make sure when you have time you organize your inventory as the A.I. Does a bad job of placing the items you pick up and wastes space.

Skill Point Tips

Invest Skill Points on specific skills that are required by your character, avoid using Skill Points on skills your character does not need or just because the skill is available. If you have 'spare' Skill Points it is more beneficial to put them into your secondary masteries or put them into your tiers. Secondary skills are more important later in game and also in harder levels to balance your character.

Combat Tips

If you put all your useful skills in the first few slots it will make access to them easier during combat. Take down the minions first otherwise they can get in the way later on in the battle. Target ranged attackers if you can or lure the melee monsters away so the ranged attackers are out of range.

Choosing a Class

If you are new to the game then lean towards Nature or Spirit. Both offer pets, options for healing yourself, and some very useful buffs. Look for classes that compliment each other in skills as combining those will make the skills more poweful. Ultimately the class you will choose will be the one that best suits your playstyle.
