Got a cheat or hot tip for this game? Found a secret, or a strategy for success?
Switch Weapons to Slow Time
When you switch weapons in Streets of Rogue you will temporarily slow down time. Take advantage of this whenever you find yourself in a hectic firefight by continually changing weapons in succession in order to give yourself some time to breath and figure out the best way to deal with your situation.
Don't Kill Everyone
Don't go around killing everyone unless you have a reason to do so. Reduce the risk to yourself by taking the path that offers the least resistance. If you have to kill someone for whatever reason always try stealthier methods if possible to do so. One such way is to place contaminants in a building ventilation.
Always Search for Loot
Resist the temptation to simply rush through the objectives, take your time and search the trash cans and other containers that are scattered throughout the levels of Streets of Rogue in order to loot as much money, food, and items as possible. It is important that you always do this as it will help you later in your run.
The Best Starting Class
It is recommended that you start with the Hacker class as it will allow you to easily progress through the game. This class has the ability to hack unnoticed from inside a completely different building. You can hack a cloning machine and spawn a free clone which is particularly useful for getting rid of enemies that are pursuing you, and you can disable security and trigger explosive traps on enemies.
Time your Level-Ups
Whenever you level up in a run in Streets of Rogue your health will automatically be fully restored. Therefore, if you can do so safely, try and obtain the final bit of XP you need just before you level up instead of consuming your health items.
