All Sonic Mania Plus Cheats and Tips - Latest First.
Unlock Debug Mode
Debug mode is unlocked by collecting Blue Sphere medals, it is activated in Mania mode by hovering over the 'No Save' icon on the right and then pressing Triangle followed by the jump buttons to place and rotate through options.
Level Select Cheat
Unlock Debug mode and enable it. Then on the 'Save Selection' screen of Mania mode, highlight the 'No Save' option on the far right, then press Options, Triangle and Square. If you have entered the code correctly you will be able to pick what level you want to play.
Sound Test Cheats
Use the Level Select cheat to reach the Sound Test screen and enter the sounds in the indicated order to unlock the corresponding cheat. If you have entered the cheat correctly you will hear a confirmation sound.

Unlock Encore Mode
When you have completed the main Story mode once 'Encore' mode will become unlocked. These new remixed stages that also have new gimmicks and colour palettes sends Sonic back to the beginning of his adventure where the two new characters, Ray the Flying Squirrel and Mighty the Armadillo will be unlocked. In 'Encore' mode you will be able to switch between ALL five playable characters.
New Characters
In the new Story mode there are two new characters, these are Ray the Flying Squirrel and Mighty the Armadillo and each has their own unique ability that can be used in the remix 'Encore' mode stages. Ray the Flying Squirrel is able to glide while Mighty the Armadillo has the Hammer Drop ability.
