Replace HP with Herbs

You can replace HP in My Time at Portia by picking up the herbs you find all around town. Collecting raw herbs is free, and it will enable you to restore 10 HP. If you decide to craft the blender you can make Herbal Juice for 25 HP which can then be used with Cotton to craft Simple Ointment which restores a massive 125 HP. If you keep Simple Ointment on your character at all times you will be able to restore HP while in combat.

Replenish Stamina with Apples

In My Time at Portia you can replenish your stamina by eating apples. During the early game this is an invaluable source to replenish stamina as it is free. Simply kick apple trees to acquire the apples, each raw apple you eat gives 5+ stamina. If you craft the blender later in the game you can turn raw apples into Apple Juice for 10+ stamina.

You can also craft the Drying Rack which will enable you to make Dried Apples for a 10% stamina increase. A good way therefore to get a steady supply of stamina is to plant a few apple trees and craft some Drying Racks once a day.

Trade Stone for Wood

Once a day you can visit Gust's store at A&G construction and trade 999 stone for 999 wood. This is something you should do regularly as it is a lot easier to collect stone from mining the Abandoned Ruins areas than it is chopping wood.

Look for the Mysterious Man

Remember that on the 27th and 28th of each month you will find the Mysterious Man walking around town selling rare goods. These include things like furniture, items for pets, and giant seeds. You will need to save your Gols, the currency used in the game, to purchase them as they are not cheap to buy.

Upgrade your Tools

It is essential that you upgrade your pickaxe, axe, and sword as soon as you have the required materials. You will be able to unlock bronze materials early but will not be able to unlock the highest grade tools which are made from iron materials until later in the game. It is important that you upgrade your tools as soon as you are able to as it allows you to chop down bigger trees, break open bigger rocks, and mine faster.

Pick Up Poop

Make sure you pick up all the poop that you see on the grass around the farm as you need this for fertilizer. Occasionally you will be able to get free seeds from the poop which you can later replant on your farm.
