Although Six does not have any weapons at her disposal in Little Nightmares she does have her lighter. Fortunately her lighter never runs out of fluid and enemies won't spot her light, so there is no need to worry about overusing it.

The Maw is a dark place and the lighter Six has is the only source of light in dark areas. The lighter can be used for lighting the lanterns you see along the way, so you illuminate the path. It is important that you light the lanterns as these act as the game's checkpoint system giving you respawn points.
