!Version 3.0 - 08-10-08!
************************

 - Fixed all the remaining issues that were known (spellings, incorrections
   other things).
 - Updated Bulletin
 - Note: This is the final version release of the walkthrough. I do not have
any further plans to add or update any more content within this specific
walkthrough. If any contributors would like to contribute them I am
always still open for advice on the walkthrough, contributions and certain
requests. If I ever find "Extra" time or get a specific idea of something
I want to do then I could potential update it again on my own in the
future but that isn't very likely. If you need anything related to this
walkthrough then email me via the email at the top of the walkthrough and
I will respond..put the subject as the name of the game.

************************
!Version 2.3 - 07-03-08!
************************

 - Fixed lots of issues with release notes formatting.
 - Added "Bulletin" section at the "Bottom" of the guide. This is a new
thing that will appear at the bottom of "All" walkthroughs and will be
the same for ALL walkthroughs I write.
 - Changed the rest of the headers to have the right numbering system..that
matches the newly done Table of Contents.
 - Rewrote copyright notice entirely. ANYONE using my walkthrough or anyone
that has posted it elsewere besides gamefaqs please check the modified
Copyright notice at the bottom. The "Copyrights" from now on are going
to be the same throughout all of my walkthroughs as well.
 - Rewrote part of the guide notes section
 - Some formatting fixes

************************
!Version 2.1 - 06-23-08!
************************

 - This is a "Hotfix" version. I was in such a hurry to get the last
release out to fill a request + fix margin errors that there were
some mistakes. I reformatted some mistakes in the headers.
 - Instead of using various word combinations for references (on the quick
find) we are going to use a numbering system instead (That is
implemented in this release as well)

************************
!Version 2.0 - 06-23-08!
************************

 - Fixed a lot more margin related issues (As I mentioned before this guide
was originally created using a testing notepad version and it didn't
work out so I am still trying to fix all the errors it caused
originally. This time I think I got the rest of them.
 - Added a new section (based off of a request I recieved in the forums)
 - Substandardized both systems in this guide. Meaning they will both be
released simultaneosly in Gamefaqs under both X-Box 360 and PS3 since it
   covers both systems.
 - Added in a CopyRight Section
 - Added in a Credits Section at the bottom

************************
!Version 1.5 - 06-16-08!
************************

 - Fixed more issues with margins.
 - Added more tips to various sections

************************
!Version 1.3 - 06-16-08!
************************

 - First 2-3 submissions were rejected due to characters over the line
width. I have seen to it that it is finally accepted.
 - Added in some new tips to various areas
 - Spelling fixes

************************
!Version 1.0 06-13-08!
************************

 - Finished up all major/minor sections of the walkthrough
 - Spell checked the entire walkthrough
 - This is the final main release. It is left as is. In the future
if I decide to do more work on it then I will just add more to it
and re-release it. I am also always planning on adding new stuff over
time and also always taking contributions.

***********************
!Version 0.7 - 6-13-08!

 - Finished the basic guide layout
 - Finished the rough draft of the guide
 - Finished Guide Notes section

= - Story - =-(4.0)
=- -=
-------------

The story is fairly simple. You are a viking and you start off in a battle
dying. Freya comes down and you pledge to help her rid the world of Hel.
She then uses her magic to kill all Legion in the area and you start your
story and are given a new life. As I mentioned before really basic (too
basic...That's one of the things that detract from the overall value of
the game itself).

=- -=
-----------------------------

I have provided some tips below on how to have an easier time during
  standard gameplay.

 - Tip 1: Buy the maps that are provided throughout each area at the store.
This allows you to visually see on the mini-map the location of all
of the chests and bags of gold on the map which can really help you
when trying to scrape together the money for training or magic. It
essentially pays for itself within a couple of minutes of actually
          hunting for money.

 - Tip 2: Buy all magic as you go through the game in each area. This is
very important for being successful in some of the more difficult
          parts of the game.

 - Tip 3: Try to buy all of the arena moves that are available in the first
area. Try to buy them all before leaving the first area. Same
with the second area. Try to buy them all here before you get into
the third area. This allows you to have an easier time trying to
          keep up with it.

 - Tip 4: I advise spending a lot of money in the game. I suggest buying
things in the following order when you get to each new area:
Health Upgrades->Maps->Magic->Moves in that order. The health
upgrades are most important because the enemies in each area are
stronger and you need the HP advantage to make it through safer.
The Maps come second because without them it'll take you 4 times
as long to gather the money for the other stuff. Magic is
next...they are more important than moves. They are given to you
at different intervals for the purpose of helping you through the
game. After that start getting the Arena. I normally don't buy
any extra stuff until I have all that is listed. I don't buy
potions or any other weapons from there normally until I have all
the other stuff I have listed to make sure I am able to get it
(very rarely). Generally you will have enough money for all the
things in that area + some extra stuff as well to help supplement
          you in battle.

 - Tip 5: Take a few minutes when the fatality button comes up to use it.
This gives you 3 red orbs instead of 1. A red orb is what adds
into your magic pool to allow you to use your elemental magic.
Killing an enemy gets you one, but finishing him with the fatality
          instead get 3.

 - Tip 6: Don't always use your magic psychotically. Instead wait until you
are surrounded by a larg-e group of enemies and use it when needed.
In the meantime let it build up for awhile so it's more useful when
you do need it in large groups.

 - Tip 7: Don't mess around with getting the skulls if your not using the
X-Box 360 system because they have absolutely no purpose aside from
the achievements. That doesn't exist on PS3 so the only point in
getting them on that system is the right to be able to say you got
          them.

 - Tip 8: Here is something "Fun" and interesting I found. If you get your
action bars (Those are the balls that allow you to use your
specials) up to 1. Meaning to first use them all. Then hit an
enemy, then do a thrust/impale move, then hit them once then
thrust impale, and repeat. If you keep repeating this over plus
changing directions you can do (Hit/thrust, Hit/thrust, Hit/thrust
) over and over again in a really rapid manner. It's not a whole
lot useful strategically but it is fun and allows you to attack
in a very very rapid manner.

 - Tip 9: The Special Attack that allows you to swing your weapon 4 times
consecutively (The same attack that does the thrust. Basically if
you have 1 action bar then it does the thrust if you have 2 then it
does another move). That other move is really good against enemies
with shields because it allows you to bypass the shield and start
tearing flesh after the second consecutive hit. SO you can use
that until you are down to one action bar or 2 and then do the
thrust and start doing hit/thrust over and over again which makes
          it a lot better.

-----------------------
=- -=
= - War Information - =-(6.0)
=- -=
-----------------------

I have provided some tips below on how to have an easier time making it
through wars within the game.

 - Tip 1: Unlock as many of the troops within the areas as you can before
trying any of the wars. This'll give you more troops to fight
with and less of a chance of being defeated.

 - Tip 2: You can go through the game and you'll notice you'll get Dragon
Gems. You can either save them for when you really need them or
use them as you get them and it won't really hurt anything in the
end. This is what you use that allows you to call the dragons
          during battle.

 - Tip 3: This is a good time to buy/bring some potions with you. I have
noticed many times that I will get over to a Shaman and I will
destroy all of his defense totems and at the last minute get killed
before I can kill him. This is frustrating because I have to go
all the way back to the shaman to be able to kill him. A quick
way to avoid this is to just gave some potions with you then you
can just use a few after getting rid of the shamans totems. Then
          you can finish him off.

 - Tip 4: This war system isn't based solely on you. You'll notice your
troops really play an active and powerful part of the battle
process. They can gain ground and lose ground in any real
battle. The thing is to make sure you use that to your
advantage. For example during the battle just make sure you wait
sometimes for your troops to get closer to the Shaman you are
trying to kill before going to kill them. This gives you less
side enemies to worry about because your troops fighting is taking
some of the stress off of you so you can focus more attention on
          Shamans.

 - Tip 5: If there are archers, kill them before going after Shamans. With
the archers gone this'll allow your troops to gain more ground and
have less resistance. It'll also make them have an easier time
getting to the Shamans general area to give you some kind of
          distraction from the enemy.

 - Tip 6: Throwing axes aren't really helpful during wars but they can get
the Totems from a distance if you can get the right angle (Not
          really worth messing with though).

 - Tip 7: If your system lags don't worry about it. Certain battles are just
hard for the system to handle. So sometimes it does lag, it
doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your system or your
          game.

 - Tip 8: Use your elemental magic to your advantage. Especially frost.
Use it around a large group of allies and everything they hit will
freeze and pretty much take them out of the fight first thing.
This can be really helpful to allow your troops to break out of
the frontlines and get towards the back of the enemy troops.

* X-Box 360 Only *
This is related to the X-Box 360 built in achievement system. If you
perform the following actions then you unlock an achievement bonus and get
something called Gamer Points. Which is largely used to show off your
status in the X-Box 360 on line community. It has other subtle purposes as
well (Personal Accomplishment) for example.

If anyone has any corrections, feedback, alternate strategies, questions,
or additions to this section then email to me at the email address at the
top of the guide.

Advice: The best times to do this are during the infiltration areas where you
are trying to get skulls. This one you actually have to try a little and get..
Just find some enemies in one of the areas that you infiltrate and learn the
place. Go in and take out 4-5 by stealth that you can find and memorize there

Advice: This one isn't too big of a problem. Just make sure you have some
magic available during the battle scenes. Sometimes there are 100 or so
enemies standing around you and using the spell can register a lot in a
short period of time. If you find yourself near the end of the game
without the achievement or you just want a quick way to get it then you can
just go ahead and go up to any characters in any of your controlled cities
and just use your abilities near then and all the ones affected will count
as well making it pretty simple to rack them up pretty quick.

Assassin of Assassins-15 Points
-------------------------------
Description:Locate and kill a legion Assassin.
Advice: This one should be completed during standard Gameplay.

Blinded to Fear-45 Points
-------------------------
Description: Kill 50 Legion without using a health potion.
Advice: This one isn't too hard. Just don't buy potions for awhile...you can
survive without them if you choose and it leaves you more money for things
like Arena, and spells, and other important items from the store.

Viking Butcher-10 Points
------------------------
Description: Master the first new move at the Battle Arena.
Advice: Simple go and learn the very first move that is listed at the Arena.
It takes very little money and it's very simple to learn. Arena's can be
located in each one of the different areas.

Viking Slaughterer-12 Points
----------------------------
Description: Learn a total of 4 new moves.
Advice: This is one you'll naturally get if you are at all playing the game.
You just have to get access to the arena's. There is one arena in each
area and to get the first 4 moves are very cheap, and very easy to master.
And it would take a total of 10 minutes to gain all 4 of them if you had
the money on hand.

Viking Slayer-14 Points
-----------------------
Description: Master a total of 8 new moves.
Advice: This one is similar to the above. All there really is to it is to
locate the arena (easy) and then to have the money to buy it (Not very hard
if you spend just a few minutes picking up the chests and loot bags laying
around all over the place). This one is a lot harder than the one above
because the prices get a little bit more expensive, but it shouldn't be a
problem.

Viking Warrior-16 Points
------------------------
Description: Master a total of 12 new moves.
Advice: This is one of the more difficult ones in the master moves chain.
This time you have to buy 12. Most likely this won't happen until you get
into the second area of the game. I don't even think you have access to 12
of them until you get into that other area. Same thing..find an arena.
Work towards getting money together as you go along and you might not have
to hunt down most of it when you are ready to do the achievement.

Viking Blademaster-18 Points
----------------------------
Description: Learn all the moves in the game.
Advice: Basically you would have to be the kind of player willing to put the
time into it. It can take some time to do this. If you are playing it just
to play it then I doubt you'll get this. If you really are actively trying
to get everything unlocked and all achievement's then it's not too hard to
get.

Demon Hacker-5 Points
---------------------
Description: Finish off 25 Legion with fatality moves.
Advice: This one is very easy. Simply use your Special fatality on stunned
enemies 25 times. It is almost guaranteed you'll get this during original
gameplay.

Secre-tive Rogue-20 Points
-------------------------
Description: Complete the quest to sneak into Darkwater.
Advice: There is a quest you can grab from someone that you liberated that
isn't far from Darkwater. He gives you a quest to go into darkwater and
purify some stones or something. All you have to do is sneak in and do it.
This isn't real hard just head towards the right and stealth your way
through the enemies. Any of the walkthroughs on the internet and on
gamefaqs to go into detail about how to sneak in. There are 1-2 exceptional
walkthroughs that I know of that'll get you right through it with minimal
of annoyance. Should you decide to do it on your on just look up the
section related to stealthing information.

The Perfect Killer-20 Points
----------------------------
Description: Kill a Legion Champion without being hit.
Advice: This one can be a pain. There are multiple areas where you fight
them. The idea is to hit and run. They have multiple moves they use on
you. One of them is where they spin around and get there weapon stuck into
the ground. The safe way to kill them is to make sure all other enemies are
dead before getting near it. Then when you are ready get it's attention and
just stand outside of it's range. Go in close from time to time to try and
taunt it into attacking. After a couple of minutes it'll spin and get stuck
in the ground. When he does move in close and hit him with a barrage of safe
attacks (don't overdo it. When he get's it unstuck then run out of his
range). After a few minutes of repeating the above action it'll be fairly
easy at that point. You'll see a signal key above his head with a button to
mash. Mash it and follow the on screen button combo's. If it's flashing
button it means rapidly press, if it flashes a solid button that means
press it one time. If you mess up the combo then it releases the enemy and
you have to repeat the above steps over again to make him go into stunned
mode again.

Killer of Champions-5 Points
----------------------------
Description: Kill 10 champions
Advice: Not very hard and this is one you'll end up getting during general
play through. You fight considerably more than 5 just in the main story.

Killer of Giants-5 Points
-------------------------
Description: Kill 5 Giants.
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one. There is no-way
you could make it through this game without getting it.

Hero Of Darkwater-10 Points
---------------------------
Description: Lead your army to victory at the battle for Darkwater.
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one.

Hero of Holdenfort-10 Points
----------------------------
Description: Lead your army to victory at the battle of Holdenfort.
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one.

Hero of Caldberg-10 Points
--------------------------
Description: Lead your army to victory at the battle of Caldberg.
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one.

Hero of Thornvik-10 Points
--------------------------
Description: Lead your army to victory at the battle of Thornvik.
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one.

Hero of Midgard-20 Points
--------------------------
Description: Lead your army to victory at the battle of Caldberg.
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one.

No Need for Immortality-50 Points
---------------------------------
Description: Lead your army to victory at Hel's Fortress without need for
immortality.
Advice: I am not exactly sure how to get this one. I mean I am guessing just
beating Hel's fortress without cheat codes will do it. I am not sure whether
immortality is something related to a cheat you can use or something built
into the game that you have the option of using. Feedback on this is
appreciated.

Thirst For Blood-10 Points
--------------------------
Description: Kill 50 Legion Soldiers.
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one. There is no-way
you could make it through this game without getting it.

Lust for Blood-20 Points
------------------------
Description: Kill 100 Legion soldiers
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one. There is no-way
you could make it through this game without getting it.

Champion of Champions-25 Points
-------------------------------
Description: Kill and defeat a Legion Champion
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one. There is no-way
you could make it through this game without getting it.

Berzerker-35 Points
-------------------
Description: Kill 200 Legion soldiers
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one. There is no-way
you could make it through this game without getting it.

Slaughter Master-50 Points
--------------------------
Description: Kill 500 Legion soldiers
Advice: Required to beat the game. You can't miss this one. There is no-way
you could make it through this game without getting it.

I have had a couple of requests for a "Walkthrough" segment to be added
that includes the various "Mead" locations throughout the game. I was
considering doing this but I did some research online and there is a very
good listing so far on the internet (which includes pictures of there
locations and everything else). Based on the creators claims it may
or may not be "complete" at this time but if it's not just add some new
one's to it. With a couple of contributions added into that version then it
might be complete within a short period of time. Not to mention that it's
been there awhile and has had a few contributions to it already. If
something ever happens and this link goes down or the creator takes it down
let me know and I will consider writing one anyway.

I don't want to just take what he has listed either and post it in my own
walkthrough. The time required to generate a "Textual" list of meads would
be very time consuming and not very helpful. However if I can get 4-5
contributions related to various mead locations then I might start putting
something together within this guide using those contributions and start
filling in the blanks. This is pretty much remains to be seen. I will keep
this link here and if anyone wants to submit to me seperately a location of
one of the "Meads" with it details enough for people to be able to locate it
textually then I will start compiling Contributions and adding to them from
my own research.

-----------------

This guide was a lot of work. I understand there are a lot of sites out
there similiar to gamefaqs. Whether they are video game sites, or general
walkthrough sites, or fan sites of a particular game. I get a lot of mail
with people asking me about whether or not they can post my walkthrough on
a particular site. Generally I give permission and even in the old copyright
notice it says that anyone can without asking. I am listing all of the rules
below related with using my walkthrough anywhere. IF you break these rules
then you are breaking copyright law.

Anyone can use my walkthrough on ANY video game site, walkthrough posting
site, or fansite of a particular game. They have free right to post it on
there site as they see fit..as long as they keep it within the following
parameters and rules I have set forth for anyone displaying my
walkthroughs/guides anywhere.

 - Rule 1: ALL of my walkthroughs must remain in there ORIGINAL and UNALTERED
format no matter where they are posted. Now one word..remark or piece of
text can be removed/added/changed in any way shape or form.
 - Rule 2: The walkthrough/guide MUST retain the original margin spacing when
put into a text editor. This is to make the walkthrough more compatible
with different editors and to retain it's original structure properly.
 - Rule 3: The walkthrough MAY NOT be converted into anything besides a TXT
file for viewing online. Meaning you cannot use it with an automatic
service that chances the TXT file into a PDF, Excel, or any other type of
file format. (The reason for this is because it's a service I am going to
provide for my walkthroughs on one of my sites at a later date).
 - Rule 4: The poster of my walkthrough/guide must have the capability of
checking gamefaqs.com ATLEAST 1 time per month for updated versions and
update there version on there site(s) accordingly. If I locate a version
of my guide that hasn't been updated within 1 month of a newer version on
Gamefaqs then I will have to either ask that the guide would be removed or
have the holder of the guide update it accordingly. Make sure if you take
my walkthroughs that you have sufficient ability to check atleast 1 time
per month on Gamefaqs.com for a new version and update it as necessary.
 - Rule 5: Not contact me everytime you Load it up to your site and update
it. If I have 5 sites contacting me everytime I upload it then I will
have a lot of extra emails that I don't need.
 - Rule 6: The site MUST remain free at all times.
 - Rule 7: The site must be clearly accessible to the public if it's listed
on your site. It cannot be hidden behind a login form. If you have a
site that requires members to be Signed up and Logged in to view
walkthroughs then DO NOT use one of my guides on your site. I want
whatever I write to be fully accessible to all who want to see it with
   minimal of trouble.

=- -=
= - Bulletin - =-(11.0)
=- -=
----------------

This bulletin is going to appear at the bottom of each and every walkthrough
and guide that I write.

The bottom line is a write a lot of walkthroughs guides. It takes a lot of
time..so for those of you who would like to "Give Back" in some way I have
listed a few things below that you could do that I would consider extremely
helpful.

 - 1: Donations are always good. Any amount at any time can be sent to
the email address at the top of the walkthrough.
 - 2: Helping me promote one of my 2 business's is also another good way
(A really good way) to help pay me back for the time if you found
good use in the guide. My main business Freelance Businessman
(http://www.freelancebusinessman.com) is easy to help me with. If
you know of someone who has need of my services send them my way. The
other company I own is (http://www.businessmaninternational.com). The
way you can help me with it is just let people know about. It's just a
VERY small website that advertises all the sites in my network at any
      particular time.
 - 3: Another potential way you could help me out would be to keep my writing
and if you know of a good publisher...or perhaps something else you
could point them my way. I am wanting to write novels, and tons of
other stuff but I would need a publisher who has seen my writing
samples (these guides). They are not the BEST work I can do because I
type them very fast and make a lot of mistakes..unlike when I am trying
      to write a book professionally.

So the idea is basically that you are not required to give back..but if you
want to then go for it (I can always use a little help here and there).
