A) Introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Neverland is the "post-game" dungeon of Resonance of Fate. It is unlocked
after defeating the first two bosses of the final storyline dungeon. Both
bosses will drop a respective black hex which can be used to activate the
Abandoned Elevator and Neverland itself.
In all future playthroughs of the game, you will start with these two black
hexes, so Neverland will be unlocked from the beginning.
As far as I know, there is no way to get any terminal effects in Neverland.
As this is a "post-game" dungeon, it goes without saying that this contains
SPOILERS. This will be my only warning throughout the guide.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
B) Strategy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
====================================
"Minimum" Level Requirements
====================================
My suggested levels are merely a guideline. I'm sure you can do it with lower
levels, but I feel these are the lowest comfortable levels you can start
Neverland with.
Vashyron: Level 80 MG (for 50% Full Scratch Rate)
I use Vashyron because he learns 50% Full Scratch Rate the earliest out of all
the characters. To give you an idea of when I started Neverland, the following
were my levels.
(Handgun/Machinegun/Thrown)
Vashyron: 37/85/20
Zephyr: 27/76/25
Leanne: 97/38/28
====================================
Equipment Recommendations
====================================
You will need a MG that can reach the full charge on a Hero Action (by now you
should know that you can extend the time of charging by jumping at the last
moment). Charge acceleration is very important here, so aim for %50+.
It is also helpful to have someone with Dual Handguns. Charge rate is more
important for handguns as you'll mostly only use it to clean up the scratch
damage, but you will need to shoot multiple times because the enemies
regenerate scratch damage very quickly.
Physical damage reduction accessories are strongly recommended. [Hi-Polymer
Padding] is obviously the best choice, but [Protective Padding] is fine too.
The following was my equipment setup when I started Neverland.
(Charge Speed/Charge Acceleration)
Vashyron:
MG: 106/65, Magazine Case, Hi-Polymer Padding, Strongman's Bangle
Zephyr:
MG: 132/47, First Aid Kit, Protective Padding, Protective Padding
Leanne:
Dual HG: 90/40, Elemental Protector, Heat Protector
====================================
General Strategy
====================================
Pre-battle notes:
You CANNOT run from the battles in each of the main areas the first time you
fight there. Be prepared, and save at the Abandoned Energy Station often.
Battles:
1. Hide one of your characters to minimize the damage dealt by enemies each
turn.
2. Use a Hero Action with Vashyron and charge up to the max. Jump over the
enemy and hope that Full Scratch Rate activates. If it doesn't, cancel
everyone's turn until Vashyron can go again and repeat. Note, if the enemy is
covered in armor, use Armor Piercing Rounds.
3. Start a Hero Action and jump with your Dual HG user, and attack the fully
scratched enemy as many times as possible until you defeat it.
4. Repeat until all enemies are dead.
====================================
Quick Preparation Tips
====================================
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Leveling Up:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arena. Connect the following terminals:
Location: Terminal Type (# Hexes Needed)
Level 4: Item Drop Rate x1.5 (3)
Level 5: Charge Speed x2 (50), Item Drop Rate x2.0 (80), Rare Item Drop Rate
         x2.0 (80)
Level 6: Other Terminal Effects x2 (220), Experience x1.5 (70)
Fight through to 45-3. Equip EXP Trainers. Enter in the 45-3 battle. Use a
full Hero Action and charge your MG on the [AZ310 Volte]. Kill it with your HG
user. Hit start, and quit the battle. You should be getting 1-2 levels every
battle.
The easiest way to farm colored hexes to connect all the terminals is to
connect the [Rare Item Drop Rate x2.0] on Level 8 to the [Deserted Blocks]
around Cranktown. Here you can defeat [Shady Thugs] for light green hexes.
You'll most likely get 1 or 2 each battle. You will need approximately 130.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gun Customization
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Generally, you want to have a lot of barrels and a Long Scope Elite attached
to your gun. The easiest, most effective parts to obtain, through use of the
arena, are the following.
Long Scope Elite
MG Magazine +12
HG Magazine +6
Long Lens
HG S-Rail Barrel
HG L-Rail Barrel
MG S-Rail Barrel
Expander Grip
Adapter Foregrip
Expander Twin S-Barrel
Expander + Sub-Barrel
Flash Sub-Barrel
Short Sub-Barrel
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Getting The Difficult Parts
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Long Scope Elite:
Copper Coin x300, Silver Coin x60, Gold Coin x3
MG Magazine +12:
Copper Coin x200, Silver Coin x40, Gold Coin x1
Rail Barrels:
Scrapped Weapon TK (Rank 40-3, Storm Panzer - Armor)
-Note, enough of these are found through missions.
Expander + Sub-Barrel:
Scrapped Missile TK (Rank 31, Shell Tank - Armor)
Expander Twin S-Barrel:
Scrapped Missile HP (Rank 45-3, AZ310 Volte - Side Armor)
-Note, rely on Full Scratch Rate activating. Then let the helicopters fully
scratch your nearby MG user. It will regain some main body health with your
Bezels. Then you can do a Hero Action with your Dual HG user and break the
side armor. Next turn, pick up the items that drop and quit the battle.
Grips:
Scrapped Arm TK (Rank 31, Shell Tank - Armor)
Scrapped Arm TK2 (Rank 38, Mine Tank - Armor)
-Note, you will probably need to use Hero Runs (don't jump) to hit the armor
without killing the main body.
HG Magazine:
Scrapped Missile TK2 (Rank 38, Mine Tank - Armor)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Easy Steps of Customization
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Note, these are probably not optimal setups, but are sufficient.
1. Put the gun into the top right corner, leaving room for the [Long Scope
Elite]. Use any adapter to get enough "sight spots on your gun.
2. Attach a [Long Scope Elite].
3. Attach 2 [Expander Grip] and an [Adapter Foregrip].
4. Attach [S/L-Rail Barrel], then 2 [Expander Twin S-Barrel], then 2 [Expander
+ Sub-Barrel].
5. Fit as many [Flash Sub-Barrel] and [Short Sub-Barrel] as you can.
6. Do whatever you want for the clip.
C) The Heart of Neverland
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

====================================
Overview
====================================

Here you can get golden guns, mascot clothing, and some pretty cool
accessories. You CANNOT run from the main battles the first time. All
following battles or random battles can be escaped from.

There is an Abandoned Energy Station in Primary Area and Secondary Area. Save
often.

When you get the golden guns, make sure you remember to actually customize
them and use them (particularly the golden machinegun, which does a ridiculous
amount of damage for those bosses where Full Scratch Rate doesn't work).

You must defeat enemies in all three Park areas before you can proceed to the
next section of Neverland.

Primary Area

*Treasure: (PARAGON) Quartz Hunter, Leanne Hairband
*Treasure: (PARAGON) Quartz Hunter, Leanne Glasses
Leader: Pater (Lv 230) - Drops: Reindeer Set
Silverhawk (Lv 143)

- First off, kill the Silverhawk from the back. Then Gauge Break Pater. He can
do a TON of damage of everything hits.
- Obviously, Full Scratch Rate doesn't work on Pater, but just keep at it. He
also regenerates scratch damage ridiculously fast (he's a blob after all).
Shoot at the END of a Hero Action, or else he'll regenerate all the damage you
did. Then immediately use a HG user to take off a little bit of damage.

====================================
Tertiary Area
====================================

There is NO Abandoned Energy Station here. Plan accordingly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gate to Heaven
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Who can say what lies beyond this gate? Is it paradise, or something else
entirely?

Note, I suggest you go back to Secondary Area and save after clearing the
first three parks.

---South Hex---
*Treasure: Never Suit (Reduces Physical Damage by 50%)

---Second Southernmost Hex---
Jupiter Weapon (Lv 192)

- Equip Shock Proof suits. This is a super Telsa Turtle. It is immune to Full
Scratch Rate.

---Second Northernmost Hex---
Dorothy (Lv 147)
Torch Gremlin (Lv 19) x5

- She can be launched in the air. Bonus shots will do plenty of damage when
charged. Alternatively, you could just break her in the beginning, then do a
Tri-Attack with 2 Resonance stored.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
North Hex Boss Battle
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Leader: Sullivan (Lv 230) - Drops: Piggy Set, Energy Hex (From Bonus
                                   Shot/Smackdown)
Leader: Rebecca (Lv 205) - Drops: Panda Set

- Target Rebecca first. She has a lot of attacks that cause Burn, which will
make you lose health VERY quickly to these two bosses.
- Sullivan mainly only does simple physical attacks with no effects. These
will do 4k+ damage, but it should be manageable.
- Build up Tri-Attacks around the bunkers. They'll probably just get in the
way most of the time, but Sullivan will likely destroy them for you.
- Bonus attacks during a Tri-Attack will do enormous damage (especially from a
charged NP.05 Golden.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The End of Neverland
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Enjoy the last scene and the mascot costumes unlocked. Note, you can also now
unlock the Politan Set from Leanne's closet.
