Or rather, there are a jillion endings in this game, and it's going to be a royal pain to get them all. Nah, just kidding. This is a Gust game. Gust is easy. But really, there are 14 endings (that 30 number is total BS), and they have weird ass requirements. For instance, you have to fill the requirements for the "good" ending for certain characters, but the "normal" ending for others, and so on. You can't get Sterk's ending on the "good" or "true" routes, for instance. My guide is going to suggest you do things. You don't have to. This game gives you LOADS of freedom. Remember Mana Khemia? Same series, some similarietes, but your schedule isn't laid out for you like before. You can do about nothing and get the game over screen, if you like. You'll even be rewarded with a trophy. Of course, if you want all the endings, then you should probably refer to my guide at some points. The main walkthrough is divided by the kingdom quests. These are given every 90 days, and you have 3 years in total for this game. That's 12 quests in all. However, those quests aren't the only things in the walkthrough. I have many dates down that mark events. So, time to save the workshop! _______________________________________________________________________________ Gameplay [00002] _______________________________________________________________________________ .------------. | Battle | `------------ This game is fairly standard turn-based, so battles should not be an issue for most folks. There are a few quirks though. Rorona is your only item user, and you're only allowed to have 60 items on hand (you can have more back at the workshop). Later on you can get 100 items. +--------------------------------+ | Name | Fee | Availiblity | You will, at some point, be allowed to add +--------------------------------+ several characters to your party, for a fee. | Cordelia | 0 | Year 1, 1/12 | They will take your money each time you go | Iksel | 50 | Year 1, 1/15 | into a new dungeon. This fee reduces as you | Sterk | 200 | Year 1, 3/30 | raise friendship levels. | Lionela | 80 | Year 1, 10/26 | | Tantris | 100 | Year 2, 1/6 | | Gio | 300 | Year 2, 10/14 | +--------------------------------+ You also get access to some skills, which cost HP to use. In the bottom left corner, you'll notice some elements. If you keep using, say, earth elemental attacks from Tantris, the level will increase. Your weapons "expand" your skills (look at the effects to see what they expand), and when the elemental level raises enough, you'll get new attacks. If you raise the level to 5, and you're above the required adventurer level (I have no idea what that is), you can do an uber attack at no HP cost. However, don't expect to see that very often. But really. When the going gets tough, use items. Bombs, Globes, etc. They're far more powerful than you are. .---------------. | Synthesis | `--------------- The heart of the game. It's actually very easy to get the hang of, and the game tutorials teach you well enough how to actually synth. You can access those tutorials again through the encyclopedia. But I want to elaborate on a couple things. Items have categories -- cooking, supplement, liquid, etc. Next to these categorires, you'll find a number. The game tells you to choose the item with a higher category number when in doubt. Don't listen to the game. That has nothing to do with quality. Instead, I believe it has more to do with Effects which include healing strength and more. As for quality, the highest is not 100. It's 120. As you synth, you'll level up your Alchemy level. Your Alchemy level should be equal to or higher than the level of the item. Otherwise, your chances of success go down, similar to having low HP. In general, better quality items means a better quality result. But if you really want to know if your next pie is going to be above 80, here's a formula for you: Quality = (average quality) * (1 + (AlchLv - ItemLv) / 50) * (quality modifier) If AlchLv - ItemLv is negative, then ignore that part. If it wasn't obvious, average quality refers to the ingredients. Quality modifier refers to the Quality +1 traits and so on. I'll list the modifier values when... I get around to it. <_< _______________________________________________________________________________ Endings [00003] _______________________________________________________________________________ Seems strange that I'd put this so early in the guide, right? There aren't any spoilers in this section. You seriously need to know this early so that you can determine what you want to do. This isn't really a strict you-must-follow-or-die guide. True - 94 or more stars, 80 or more fame. Good - Less than 94 stars, 80 or more fame. Normal - 94 or more stars, 79 or less fame. Bad - Less than 94 stars, 79 or less fame. Stars are from your performance on Assignments, and refer to the little stars you see before evaluation day, not the big ones. I've divided the walkthrough by Assignments for your convenience. Fame is from doing quests from Esty. Normal endings should be the easiest to get, with the exception of the bad ending. Your second playthrough will have all the money from your first, making requirements for most endings very easy to meet. The following table describes the ending system further. The character column means which characters you have to have high friendship levels with and which ones you have to do all Friend Quests for. In Astrid's case, you need to do ALL the quests for ALL the characters (those who have endings, not Cole, Hagel, etc.). The other columns detail which ending you need to trigger for a character ending to appear. Make sure the person whose ending you want has the highest friendship level. Otherwise, you aren't getting the ending you want! It MATTERS if Tantris (normal ending dude) is your highest and you're on the true ending path -- you are not getting Gio's (or Cordelia's) ending. You'll instead get the plain True ending. Of course, none of that matters if you haven't done all character events. +----------------------------------------+ | Character | True | Normal | Good | No special requirements. +----------------------------------------+ | All | Astrid | Normal | Good | | Cordelia | Cordelia | Normal | Good | NOTE NOTE NOTE | Gio | Gio | Normal | Good | | Lionela | True | Lionela | Good | Defeat trophy-giving monsters, | Tantris | True | Tantris | Good | reach adventurer level 50, and | Sterk | True | Normal | Sterk | trigger Cordelia's ending for a new | Iksel | True | Normal | Iksel | Adventurer ending! | None | True | Normal | Good | +----------------------------------------+ +----------------------------------------+ | Character | True | Normal | Good | Beat the game with 1 million cole +----------------------------------------+ but don't do all character events | All | Astrid | Normal | Good | for anyone to get the rich end. | Cordelia | Cordelia | Normal | Good | | Gio | Gio | Normal | Good | | Lionela | True | Lionela | Good | | Tantris | True | Tantris | Good | | Sterk | True | Normal | Sterk | | Iksel | True | Normal | Iksel | | None | Rich | Rich | Rich | +----------------------------------------+ +----------------------------------------+ | Character | True | Normal | Good | Get over 80 quality with ALL pies +----------------------------------------+ and fulfill no character ending | All | Astrid | Pie | Pie | requirements for the pie. But be | Cordelia | Cordelia | Pie | Pie | sure to befriend *someone*. | Gio | Gio | Pie | Pie | | Lionela | Pie | Lionela | Pie | You need Iksel for the Pie end, so | Tantris | Pie | Tantris | Pie | I suggest doing his end with the | Sterk | Pie | Pie | Sterk | Pie end. | Iksel | Pie | Pie | Iksel | | None | True | Normal | Good | +----------------------------------------+ _______________________________________________________________________________ Character Events [00004] _______________________________________________________________________________ Each character has events to go with them. I have only completed the following: Tantris, Lionela, Tiffani, Pamela, Cole. As for Sterk, I was fairly close to completion, but I didn't defeat the dragon. Be sure to do that within a short amount of time and it's good. Wait too long and you're screwed. You can also easily do Cordelia's events (I just didn't write it down) by doing the Front Quests that lower your Trust (look for high rewards but crap items). You have to do five in total, and the rest of the events are pretty easy. .-------------. | Lionela | `------------- - Around Year 2, 3/1, have her friendship over 30 (?) there will be an event with her. - When her relationship is 40, go adventuring for another scene. - Raise her friendship to 60 for the next two workshop events. One of them will come before her friendship is that high. The other will be a conversation between Astrid and Cordelia about her. - I gathered Some Egg with Lionela in the party, and it triggered an event. Don't know if it's required. - Go to Bandit's Lair at Traveler's Way after Year 3, 2/1. It may be triggered in other areas. I don't know. Two days later, another event will follow. - About a month later, an event will trigger in the square. - A week after that, you'll be asked to make an item. Make it and fetch her. You'll get the Puppets and a Girl trophy. .-------------. | Tantris | `------------- - Atter Year 2, 4/1, if you got three big stars on your fifth assignment, there will be an event when you go adventuring. Do it as early as possible. - An automatic event will occur after. - At year 2, month 7, adventure with Tantris to see an event with Rorona's parents. - Another event will happen after Year 3, 1/1. About a week later, he'll pop back up for a new scene. I believe you need 60 friendship for all this. - Year 3, 4/1 will bring another event. 80 friendship. - Then go speak to Tantris, and you'll be asked to make an item. Make it, and you'll get the Duet trophy. .-----------. | Sterk | `----------- - Raise his relationship to 30 and you'll get an event automatically. Then speak with Esty. - On Year 3, 1/10, and once his friendship is above 60, he'll warn you about a dragon in Ster Highlands (which is unlockable through Cole) at the workhshop. - Kill the dragon as soon as possible with Sterk in your party. I think before 7/1. I haven't done this myself, but I believe this is the last event for his end. .--------------. | Cordelia | `-------------- Requests: Pebble x2 -- 1000 Cole ...And others I haven't listed. - Eventually, Esty will give a request for two Pebbles for 1000 Cole. Accept it for a scene, then do it for another scene. Your trust went down by 5%. - Do two more similar requests, then find Cordelia at the Sundries store after Year 2, 1/1. - I haven't written the rest down, but basically fail synthesis to make a stone and do two more of those requests. The rest can be done from there, so long as you speak to the right people (and my memory escapes me right now). .------------. | Pamela | `------------ - About a month after you find her, enter the Workshop for an event. - A couple weeks (?) after her shop opens, visit her. No one is buying. :( - Be at the Workshop on the next 15th to see another event with Cole. - After that (a week later?), you'll see a bunch of people in her shop. - About a month later, you'll have a conversation with Astrid in Pamela's shop. .-----------. | Hagel | `----------- - Raise his relationship to 30 and go to the Square. .-------------. | Tiffani | `------------- - At some point, an event about her being sick will happen when you go to her store. - Go to the Sunrise Cafe for another scene with her. This will steal a day. Relationship may have to be 40. - Get her relationship to 60 for another event in the Sunrise Cafe. You get the trophy, Drunken Tiffani. That will take your day. .----------. | Cole | `---------- - Buy up all the Sunny Crystals on Year 2, 4/15 for an event. - Come to the Workshop with a full basket after Year 2, 7/1. You'll get a bigger one. - After Year 3, 1/1, you'll get a scene if your friendship is over 80. - Be at the workshop on the next 15th for the another scene. _______________________________________________________________________________ Walkthrough [WLK00] _______________________________________________________________________________ I've been hit with the following glitches: - Failing synthesis with a 100% success rate and tons of HP. Twice. - Killing the same weak enemy twice - Item drop where you cannot select a bomb that features Japanese text - Music stopped during a scene when I left the game idle, but returned after Sterk and Rorona stopped talking. - Infinite loading Only one of those glitches is harmful, but let this serve as a warning. SAVE OFTEN. Year 1, 1/8 ----------- After the initial cutscenese, go ahead and leave the workshop for the Palace. You'll be introduced to the assignments and you'll get your first trophy eventually. Both Trust and performance on assignments affect the ending. Note: If you were naughty and ignored the above ending section, then I suggest you read it. If you want the best ending, at least look at the requirements for it. You can fail this assignment. You can neglect to do it completely. I don't suggest it, as you get 0 stars. You do need to fail any other assignment for a trophy though. I think Astrid is my favorite sloth. Year 1, 1/9 ----------- Tutorial time! The jist of it is that you should be careful with your HP and time. A fair warning -- don't use the couch. Use items to restore your HP. You waste time on the couch. It's better to adventure. Travel time actually restores HP. It takes time to travel to places. It takes time to travel to places within places. Be careful about selection! And be careful with your item management. Note: Watch out for suspiciously rewarding quests from Esty. Those are from Cordelia, and they will LOWER your fame by a whopping 5%! Think twice before doing them if you're aiming for any non-Cordelia or non-Normal end. The first one will be two Pebbles for 1000 Cole. I suggest you look at the gameplay section. It has a neat equation in there under Synthesis. It also tells you the tutorials lie. Year 1, 1/12 ------------ The town has opened up for you. Enter and exit the workshop for a scene. That will hog your day. After this is a great time to explore town. You can buy items, recipes, and more. At this point, however, everything is expensive. On Artisan's Way, outside the Workshop, you have free water. It's better to buy water at the Sundries Shop due to quality issues, but a well is there if you need quantity or something. Your low level tip for exploring: Use Unis till you're a high enough level to go without them. They're you're first attacking item. Recipes: Beginning Alchemy (Automatic), First Cookbook (Iksel), Sundries Book (Tiffani) Year 1, 1/15 ------------ Go to Sunrise Cafe. You'll be able to hire Iksel now. He's probably a little expensive for the time being, but he's your first healer. You'll want to explore with him for the Pie End. He allows you to find new items that are necessary for it. Year 1, 1/20 ------------ Your first assignment finally comes in. .-------------------. | Assignment 01 | `-----. WLK01 .----- `----- Items: Polish Powder, Zettel, Alchemy Coal. Quantity over quality. Due: 3/30 How: Buy the recipe from the Sundries Shop, and Fest from the Weapon Shop. The rest of the ingredients are easily found in the Nearby Forest. Just use your worst ingredients to churn out a bunch of Zettels and/or Alchemy Coals. You don't even need to bother with Polish Powder, if you don't want to. Only focus on the bottom set of stars -- the other two sets don't matter. Speaking of stars, you need three of them to be filled to pass the assignment. All 10 gets you the best results, but you only need to get 8 stars per assignment to get above the True End requirements. Year 1, 1/21 ------------ Event with Astrid in workshop. lol. Year 1, 1/23 ------------ At the Castle Front Desk, you'll be able to do Friend Quests now. Year 1, 1/25 ------------ Event with Cordelia in Square. If your Adventure Level is high enough (4), you can go to Ortoga Ruins too. Alchemy Level can also be 5 to trigger this. After you run out of areas in the Nearby Forest, this is a great place to go to grind. Year 1, 2/2 ----------- Event in Workshop. You can now make... Pie! 80 quality or better for a new end. Make this first pie good and you'll the Basic Pie recipe. Make those 80 or above and you'll get another set of pies. And so on. Year 1, 2/12 ------------ Enter and exit the workshop for 2 of the following: Mandra Root, Dead Beast, Puniball. Bought right outside the workshop, I'm sure. Year 1, 3/1 ----------- Sterk comes by to say hi. Or you see a pidgeon while adventuring. Year 1, 3/16 ------------ Go to Rorona's home for two of the following: Beast Fur, Audra's Tail, Mandra Root. As a note about this, you can go back at a later date to get them if you don't get a scene on this day. They'll even leave you a note. Year 1, 3/30 ------------ If you did what you were supposed to, you get 3 big stars. If not, you skip the stars and Astrid saves the workshop with... well, you can see for yourself if you're that curious. You get the Assignment 1 trophy for doing it properly. You can now hire Sterk. Expensive knight. Are you concerned about Rorona, or your wallet? .-------------------. | Assignment 02 | `-----. WLK02 .----- `----- Items: Bomb, Barrel, Cannon. Quality is better. Due: 6/30 How: Buy Making Cannons from the Weapon Shop. It contains the Cannon and Bomb recipes. You can go to the mines for exploration purposes and to fetch some ingredients, but you don't have to have high quality. In reality, you don't need to turn in bombs or cannons at all. So if money is tight, don't worry about it. I do suggest making bombs eventually. You need them for exploration purposes. Year 1, 4/1 ----------- Recipes: Making Cannons (Hagel), Beginning Blacksmith (Hagel) Visit the weapon shop. You'll be able to make equipment now, and you can go to the National Mines. You'll also get a couple new recipes from him. As a little note about National Mines, there's an area where you will need loads of bombs and a really good bomb. I didn't make it inside, so don't think that you have to go in there immediately. This is also a good opportunity to use a bomb on that rock in Nearby Woods. You get a scene at the Sundries Store too. Note: Play around with the Synthesis of Ingots. Ingredients will change the type of Ingot it is, so keep checking in the top left box. You'll want Tinc and Dry Metal for the time being, probably. Cloths are similar, so experiment there too. Then take your materials to the Weapon Shop and get better stuff. The game will be easier just by improving equipment. Year 1, 4/21 (Again, the date can change) ------------ Go to Rorona's home for two Poisonheads, Pendelooks, and one Gravistone. Where in the bloody hell do her parents go? Year 1, 5/1 ----------- To the Sundries Store for an event. Year 1, 6/1 ----------- Sundries Store event. Year 1, 6/30 ------------ Due date for items. .-------------------. | Assignment 03 | `-----. WLK03 .----- `----- Items: Witch's Salve, Beast Statue, Healing Aroma. Due: 9/30 How: Buy Plants & Ores from the Sundries Store for Pure Oil. The rest is VERY easy, assuming you've done enough adventuring. Spam the easiest. You know the drill. In this case, I found the Healing Aroma to be the biggest pain, so I spammed the other two. Year 1, 7/1 ----------- Recipes: Ancient Alchemy (auto), Plants & Ores (Tiffani), Chef's Favorite (Iksel), Nature & Bombs (Hagel) You can talk to Esty for a scene if your trust is high enough (5%, I think). Then you can talk to her for another. Do her request to be introduced to the roulette and tickets. Then go by the Sunrise Cafe for another event with Iksel. You also need to go Rorona's house for 3 Uni, 1 Beast Skin, and 2 Audra's Tails. Year 1, 7/15 ------------ To the Sundries Store! You meet Gio. You lose 200 Cole. Year 1, 7/29 ------------ Gio comes by the Workshop. You get 200 cole. He hangs around Main Street, if you want to do his jobs. Year 1, 9/1 ----------- Sterk comes to the Workshop. Year 1, 9/7 ----------- Enter Lionela. You get the trophy, The Puppet Show Begins. Year 1, 9/9 ----------- Exit the Workshop for another one with Lionela. Year 1, 9/16 ------------ It may be a few days later, but you'll get another Lionela event. You can now get jobs from her at Factory Way. Year 1, 9/30 ------------ Evaluation. .-------------------. | Assignment 04 | `-----. WLK04 .----- `----- Items: [Cooking] stuff. The game lied when it said [Food]. Sorta. Due: 12/20 How: My suggestion? Make pies. Soup is pretty easy too. Just be careful to not make [Desserts] instead. =\ Year 1, 10/1 ------------ Gotta love Astrid's motives. Poor dummy. I have similar motives for buying this game though. :) Go to Rorona's home for two Forgotten Bones, Some Sloughs, and Pendelooks. Year 1, 10/8 (possibly a little later) ------------ Square event with Lionela. "Can I see?" Idiot. XD Year 1, 10/15 ------------- Automatic event. You get to buy some good stuff, so consider it. "C" reminds me of a nickname from another game though. Honey Pie, here I come! Year 1, 10/17 ------------- To the Square/Main Street (apparently both work). You can now hire Lionela and go down Traveler's Way. Jiggle physics. YES, THEY JIGGLE. Get her friendship above 10 if you intend to keep her. Otherwise, she'll leave. Year 1, 11/10 ------------- Decide the gender of Hom. :3 Year 1, 11/15 ------------- Cole comes. Year 1, 11/25 ------------- Sterk checks up on you at the Workshop again. Year 1, 12/1 ------------ Sterk event at the Square. Year 1, 12/15 ------------- Cole again. You know the drill. Year 1, 12/20 ------------- Empty that basket before this day! Evaluation. Cabbage Festival! Do watch. :) Then you get to collect 40 cabbages for The Cabbage Girl trophy and a Mercurious Eye. (I won with 45, personally.) You can actually discard cabbages to collect more, so don't worry too much. It's a really easy thing to win. You lose 10 days, regardless of whether you take this event on, and your party members have been removed. If you haven't made an awesome Cabbage Soup and Pie, you better now. .-------------------. | Assignment 05 | `-----. WLK05 .----- `----- Items: Tonic Notes: Depends on amount, trait, and quality. Due: 3/30 How: They're bloody easy to make. You already got the recipe from Plants & Ores. So spam spam spam! You can get Magic Grass from the Sundries Store if you don't feel like getting it yourself, but you should otherwise have more than enough of what you need. Could be a good excuse to get rid of some cabbages. I turned in 7 of them, and that filled it up in one trip. I didn't really try to make them nice. You can probably get away with less. Just be sure to make a bunch at once. You'll get more traits. Year 2, 1/1 ----------- To the Square to find Cole. You can accept requests from him on Factory Way. You can also meet Tantris by going to the Nearby Forest (other places except for the Catacombs might trigger it). You get the The Wandering Bard trophy. At some point within the next 10 days, you can visit her parents for 2 Dead Beasts, a Beast Skin, and a Beast Fur. Year 2, 1/2 ----------- Automatic conversation with Astrid. That ghost bit was a huge hint. Go to the Catacombs and find Pamela's teddy by going through the exit located the furthest from where you start, then a couple more areas. You get the trophy, The Ghost and Teddy Bear. Two months after you fetch her, she'll open a shop. Year 2, 1/3 ----------- Tantris event. Automatic. Year 2, 1/6 ----------- Tantris event. He's certainly amusing. But then again, so is Astrid. Anyway, you can hire and take quests from him at the Square. Year 2, 1/10 ------------ Hello Hom! Level... it up. Trust me. It is your ticket to money farming. You'll also want it to synth stuff for you. Saves time. Year 2, 1/13 ------------ Conversation with Astrid. Horse droppings and semen. I'd love to know what Astrid used. Year 2, 1/15 ------------ Cole comes. Sundries Store event, Sunrise Cafe event. If you want to buy Magic Grass, do it before this day. Otherwise, you'll have to adventure for it. Year 2, 1/16 ------------ Astrid and Tantris event. I may be mixing this up with another close date. Astrid holds grudges. :) Year 2, 1/17 ------------ Conversation with Hom and the parents. Year 2, 1/29 ------------ Workshop event. I opened it. Don't do the same. Year 2, 2/1 ----------- Automatic Cordelia event. Year 2, 2/9 ----------- I honestly don't know what triggers it, but I got a scene after reentering the workshop. I entered again for another one with Pamela, but that's likely related to when I got her. So consider this your reminder. ;) I also got a scene with Lionela in the Square. Again, don't know much about it. Year 2, 2/13 ------------ Automatic event. Meredith is pathetic, heh. Year 2, 2/15 ------------ Cole. Year 2, 3/4 ----------- Sundries store event? Year 2, 3/15 ------------ Cole. Year 2, 3/30 ------------ Evaluation. .-------------------. | Assignment 06 | `-----. WLK06 .----- `----- Quest: Kill Vultures in Nearby Forest. More is better. Due: 6/30 How: ...Go to the Nearby Forest and raise hell. Every area, though I'm not sure if that's overkill. Anyway, Bomb Ice and another good bomb will get you through everything, or at least the Bomb Ice if you already ran through everything. You can buy Bomb Ice from Pamela, btw. Well, there are a couple non-enemy areas. Cabbages and Uni. Year 2, 4/1 ----------- Talk to all the shop owners for scenes. You can now use Wholesale. USE IT. All you have to do is register an item. Several days later, you can by several copies. If you don't get scenes... raise frendship? If you're aiming for Tantris' ending, be sure to have gotten three big stars on the last assignment, then go adventuring with him for a scene. As for Iksel, after this point, if you make an amazing food item, he'll drop by. After a few more scenes, you'll have a cooking battle. Do not skip this if you care about him at all. Year 2, 4/15 ------------ Cole. I bought all the Sunny Crystals for an event. I think that's the trigger for it. But I don't know for sure. Year 2, 5/15 ------------ Cole again. He makes Ster Highlands availible to you. When you go there, bring a bomb. But you'll have to have decent equipment to even progress past the first area. The recipe you get there has Bunny Tail. Perfect for grinding. Year 2, 6/5 ----------- I have no idea what the official date on it is, but visit Rorona's home for 2 Audra's Tail, 1 Mermaid Tear, 2 Puniball. It *may* be triggered MUCH earlier than this. I dunno. Year 2, 6/30 ------------ Evaluation. .-------------------. | Assignment 07 | `-----. WLK07 .----- `----- Items: Bomb Ice or Spring Water. Due: 9/30 How: They're both relatively easy to make, but also a pain. You could buy from Pamela, but that's expensive. I combined the two, personally. I found it easier to make a few good Spring Waters over a bunch of Bomb Ice when I had Hom make me the Ingots necessary. Year 2, 7/1 ----------- Lake Nabel opens up to you under certain conditions. Cordelia must have friendship over 30, Lionela over 20, and Pamela must have opened her shop by now. Go to Rorona's home for 2 Night Lady, 3 Uni, 2 Beehive at some point after this day. For those of you following Tantris' end, go adventuring with him for another scene. Come back to the Workshop after this day with a full basket to get a larger one from Cole. I haven't tested this myself, as I did it personally over a month after this date. Year 2, 7/8 ----------- Lake Nabel event. Don't miss it! You get Foamy Water and the trophy To the Lake. Astrid is pretty awesome. XD Just a little tip about this area. Send Hom. Don't go yourself till you get an Air Drop. You'll have to buy the recipe from Pamela. I also believe a new dungeon opens up if you go through Lake Nabel, but Lake Nable is the one dungeon I have not yet gone through enough. <_< This hogs several days. You have missed Cole. A Hom event will follow sometime after this, but you have to synth something to trigger it. On another date later on, you can synth something again for another scene and a trophy, Hom and Kitten. Afterward, a new event will happen with Cordelia. Year 2, 8/15 ------------ Cole. Year 2, 9/1 ----------- Iksel comes to the workshop. Dark Woods are availble to you. I recommend using the Dark Woods as a grinding spot to get to Adventurer Level 25. This will open up a dungeon later. But you have till 3/3 to do it. Year 2, 9/15 ------------ Cole. Year 2, 9/28 ------------ Lionela will leave you if her friendship is 10 or below. On my first playthrough, I had her at 75, so... :P Year 2, 9/30 ------------ Evaluation. .-------------------. | Assignment 08 | `-----. WLK08 .----- `----- Items: Cannons and Barrels. Again. Quality is better. Due: 12/20 How: I don't think I should tell you how to do something twice. You have better ingredients -- and Hom -- so use them. Barrels are easier. I managed to make five legendary barrels (quality 120) with ease. Then I had a spark of "brilliance" and registered one with Tiffani. :P Year 2, 10/1 ------------ Drop by Rorona's home sometime for two of the following: Marinelite, Sea Puddle, Salt. Year 2, 10/14 ------------- Raptorstein event. Gio abducts you. :P You get the trophy Slicer. You can also hire Gio, finally. This claims several days. You miss Cole. Year 2, 11/15 ------------- Cole Year 2, 12/15 ------------- Cole Year 2, 12/20 ------------- Evaluation. Also, Martial Contest. Esty is really evil this time. Easiest way to win is bombs and such. So be sure to have some good ones before today. :) I chucked a couple 120 quality Lightning Bombs with Wind Damage L on the last one. I used Pamela to replicate them though. :P And I'll have you know that even with my bombs, I still had to restart. So if you don't get this on your first playthrough, don't feel bad. The HP values are about 150, 300, and 700. And that last one is hard hitting. You really need decent armor to survive even one hit. I could survive one, barely. You get a Sun Cloak (lulz, I had one equipped on Rorona) for winning, along with the trophy Martial Master. I believe there is an extra enemy under certain circumstances, but I haven't seen it. .-------------------. | Assignment 09 | `-----. WLK09 .----- `----- Items: Komet and Arland Crystal. Depends on type and effect. Due: 3/30 How: Make the least obnoxious of the two and register it to someone. If you don't like that (expensive) method... try making the least obnoxious one. As always. If you don't have Pamela, then you have to spam Arland Crystals. At least they're easy. Year 3, 1/1 ----------- Your party members have been removed. Go get them. To Rorona's house for 3 Uni, a Beast Skin, and 2 Forgotten Bones. One more thing. This is a good place to create a split save and sleep your way through the next year for the Bad End. Just finish the quests with three stars each. This is assuming perfection on your other assignments. If you weren't so perfect, you may be able to make your save later. If you're following Tantris' end, then another event can be triggered here. Once you get Cole's friendship high enough, you'll get a scene about medicine. Year 3, 1/15 ------------ Cole Year 3, 2/1 ----------- If you're following Lionala's events, you can go to Traveler's Way for a scene. Year 3, 2/15 ------------ Cole Year 3, 3/1 ----------- Workshop scene, assuming your adventure level is over 25. Orthogalaxen is now open! Great grinding place. :) Different music too. But strong enemies. Even the Punis take a while to kill. And no wonder! Bunny Punis are level 35! But once you are high enough in level, there is a Dragon enemy down there. Two, in fact. Hint: Bomb Ice, at least for the first one (ran out for the second, lol). At the very end is a boss I haven't beaten yet, the Iron Giant. One more thing. For the Millionaire ending, you WANT to go down there and/or send Hom. There are materials that you can use to create Halomollium, which you can easily get rid of for loads of Cole for Front Quests. Velvetis, which comes from the Dragon Scales, is also worth a ton. Year 3, 3/15 ------------ Cole. Year 3, 3/30 ------------ Evaluation. .-------------------. | Assignment 10 | `-----. WLK10 .----- `----- Items: Gather Shadow Grass, Dark Coral, Midnight Flower. Due: 6/30 How: You may want bombs and such. In the Black Bird Nest area (second area) head right after the bridge. Go through the area it leads to, then the next. You'll run into a Griffon type enemy. It guards Shadow Grass. You can keep returning and killing the enemy if you don't want to explore. Back to Black Bird Nest. This time, go left after the bridge. In the new area, head north after the bridge. Here, you can find Dark Coral. Follow the path to the next area, head south through the path the Griffon enemy is guarding and into the next area. You get Midnight Flowers here. You really only need a little less than 15 of the items. I forgot to count how much I personally turned in though. I swear the Shadow Grass are worth more than Dark Coral, and I never turned in the Flowers. Year 3, 4/1 ----------- To Rorona's home for a Globe Sphere, 3 Uni, and 2 Mandra Roots. Another Tantris event can be triggered here. As an aside about Night's Domain, following the extra paths will take you to a dragon. Bring some very powerful items (I used two high quality Globes and Tantris' finisher) to beat it. You'll get the trophy Dragonbane and the recipe Bandit Legacy. Dragonbane is not unique to this particular boss though. There's also a Demon there, but he was WAY above my level. So don't go too far beyond the dragon unless you feel you can kick his ass. You'll get a trophy for doing so. Year 3, 4/15 ------------ Cole Year 3, 5/15 ------------ Cole Year 3, 6/15 ------------ Cole (yes, there really is nothing going on) Year 3, 6/30 ------------ Evaluation. .-------------------. | Assignment 11 | `-----. WLK11 .----- `----- Items: [Sundry] items. Due: 9/30 How: Why don't they just give the stars away? Make whatever you want. Register it to Tiffani, if you want, and spam. <3 Even Supplements work. If you can't make amazing Supplements by now, there's no hope for you. I had a few things registered to Tiffani, so this was very easy for me. Year 3, 7/1 ----------- To Rorona's home for a Globe Sphere, 3 Uni, and a Dunkelheit. Year 3, 7/15 ------------ Cole Year 3, 8/15 ------------ Cole Year 3, 9/15 ------------ Cole .-------------------. | Assignment 12 | `-----. WLK12 .----- `----- Items: Anything and everything, so long as it's amazing. Due: 12/30 How: This time, you don't have to spam. Make it right once, dammit, and you're done. So make something hard, make it rare, and make it good. Elixir is a good choice. I managed to make one with 120 quality and awesome effects. The stuff in Orthogalaxen will help you make a good one (specifically the Dragon Tusks). I also had a good 120 quality Nectar to put into it. Get the best effect you can into your Nectar. Keep this in mind though. You have 110 stars if you were perfect. You can practically ignore this one. 3 stars and you're good to go. Year 3, 10/1 ------------ Talk to anyone who has a friendship of over 80. Also, to Rorona's house for a Dragon Tusk, Dragon Scale, and Dark Dew. Year 3, 10/15 ------------- Cole Year 3, 11/8 ------------ You'll be able to harvest Dunkelheiten (proper German!) at Dark Woods, Miracle Forest. Why today? Hell if I know. But they're worth a HELL of a lot of money in Front Quests. Year 3, 11/15 ------------- Cole Year 3, 12/15 ------------- Cole Sometime during this month is a great time to create a split save, if you want more than one ending. All you have to do is accept a request and give up. Year 3, 12/29 ------------- Sell everything. You need the money, because it carries over. Items do not. Encyclopedia entries do. Where's my select all feature ._. Year 3, 12/30 ------------- Talk to everyone. Yay it's over. Now play again. My 1st playthrough accomplishments - All Friendships 100 (with several months to spare) - Adventure 38, Alchemy 38. - Trust 10% (yep, I ignored Esty) - Tantris/Lionela/Normal ends. - Nearly 400,000 Cole _______________________________________________________________________________ Consumables [ITEM2] _______________________________________________________________________________ This is in the order that you will find in your Encyclopedia. Not all items (especially pies) are listed. There will be a blank in that spot, because I know how much is missing. If you see an asterisk (*) next to an ingredient, that ingredient determines the effect. I haven't gotten all effects, nor have I gotten around to putting asterisks next to everything.
