saved data with shivering isles
I want to cure my vampirism but the bug on ps3 makes it impossible unless I go on the original oblivion and give it to her then. so I borrowed the original off someone and the saved data wouldnt load. It loaded fine on the GOTY version, so I was wondering, before I give it back, if I'm able to load my game on the original oblivion if I have shivering isles data. If so how to overcome?
I don't want me character to look like an ugly old man ugh D: she was beautiful once ;_;

Well firstoff, the bug can be cured! You must give the ingredients to the old lady IN THE ORDER SHE TELLS YOU TO. Second, no your data will not load. There is extra features and things in the GOTY edition, that make it impossible to load the original. Third, if you were able to load it, no you would not have the Shivering Isles data, you would have to buy the Expansion Pack all over again.

i had this problem, and found that quiting the game and going to the playstation menu changin gthe language to dutch loading the point where yoiu give her the ingredients and then giving the ingredients to her she will take them off you . save it change the language back to english load the game back and she will make the cure, but i lost all of my shivering isles saves and items, so works and doesnt work.

Yeh my shivering isles data got deleted because I changed language to French, gave it to her then changed it back anyone got any idea why this happened lol

After using the original version of oblivion to cure my vampirisem I lost my quests and couldn't redo them.. The MPCs still say about the quests and I can pick up quest items but can't pas them over to the epcs..I have no idea on how to fix it :(Search for more answers for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion or ask your own question here.
