Press the buttons wich it says in time and then press R1 when it says.

I ahve done this several times and for the longest, but still can not kill the SOB. He puts me on the ground and blows my brain out. I need to know if there is a better way to kill him. When it says to press R1, is that one time or repeatedly. Im tired of playing this part and I really could use some advise
