2. Introduction:
------------------

Hey! This is an FAQ about Zhu Rong! I have wrote a couple of FAQ's
now so I should be getting the hang of it by now. But I'm sure
that there are plenty of nice people out there who will tell me what
I have done wrong. I will give credit to them for helping me.
Well I think I have said enough ( technically typed but hey )
so I hope you enjoy this FAQ and I hope that it helps you.

3. Story:
-----------

Descending from above, the evil Serpent King Orochi shattered time
and space to test his strength against the most courageous warriors from
Ancient China and Feudal Japan. Great armies fell, yet many are still
fighting for survival - and now the greatest showdown in history is
about to take place... ( Taken from the back of the game case )

4. Controls:
--------------

The controls in this game are similar to the others, but here is a quick
list, to show you what buttons do what:

Main Menu or Battle Menu:
---------------------------

Left Analogue Stick or directional buttons = Move up and down
X = Confirm
Triangle = Back

Select a character screen:
----------------------------

Left Analogue Stick or directional buttons = Move in all directions
X = Confirm
Triangle = Back
Circle = Change character outfit

In battle:
------------

Square = Normal Attack
Triangle = Charge Attack
Circle = Musou Attack
X = Jump
L1 = Block
R1 = Special Ability
L2 - R2 = Switch between characters in your team
Select = Call for horse
Start = Open up battle menu
Left Analogue Stick = Move around
R3 ( Push Right Analogue Stick in ) = Change map type
Right Analogue Stick = Change the camera angle

5.a) Zhu Rong: Who is Zhu Rong?
---------------------------------

That is a good question. Zhu Rong is the wife of the Nanman King,
Meng Huo. Together they ruled over the Nanman Territory, now
Zhu Rong returns in Warriors Orochi to help stop Orochi.
Zhu Rong is a power type character.

5.b) Zhu Rong: History
------------------------

Madame Zhu Rong of Nan Zhong was the wife of Meng Huo,
king of the Nanman tribes. She was a boisterous, spirited lady,
adept at throwing knives, and claiming descent from the God of Fire,
also named Zhu Rong.

5.c) Zhu Rong: Overall story involvement
-------------------------------------------

Zhu Rong is trying to help Zhao Yun rescue Liu Bei and kill Orochi.
Meng Huo is also by her side. There is not much to put here as she
is not in that many stages and did not play much of a part in the game,
other than being in the battle where you unlock Musashi Miyamoto.

5.d) Zhu Rong: Changes
-------------------------

Zhu Rong is pretty much the same as she was in Dynasty Warriors 5.
They have made some slight changes though...

She cannot shoot arrows anymore.
She has an R1 special now.
They have made some slight changes to her charge attacks.

That's all.

5.e) Zhu Rong: Moveset
-------------------------

S = Square  T = Triangle

Standing Attacks:
-------------------

S = Charges forwards and slashes with her Boomerang. ( Moving )

SSSSSSSSS = A series of attacks.

TTTT = Four Breakdancing Kicks on the floor.

ST = One attack followed by throwing attack upwards.

SSTTT = Two attacks, followed by throwing her Boomerang forwards
slashing them and then backwards slashing again, up to five times
each way.

SSST = Three attacks, followed by her throwing the Boomerang and
it circles her a couple of times, then she catches it.

SSSST = Four attacks, followed by a vertical attack of which a
whirlwind come out.

SSSSST = Five attacks, followed by her jumping back and a
whirlwind appearing.

Musou = She throws knives around. These hurt any enemies that
touch them.

True Musou = Exactly the same apart from at the end she spins
round quicker sending more knives out.

Jump Attack = Spins around attacking with her Boomerang

Jump Charge = She does a backflip and sends a beam out with her
Boomerang.

L1 = Block ( Not Moving )

L1 + Left Analogue Stick = Block ( Moving )

R1 = Zhu Rong does a powerful flame attack.

Mounted Attacks:
------------------

T = The horse rears up and attacks the enemy ( Not moving )

T = The horse jumps and lands, hurts the enemy ( Moving )

SSSSSS = Attacks to her left and right simultaneously.

ST - SSSSST = Attacks to her left and right simultaneously,
then attacks with her boomerang left then right.

Musou = The horse charges forwards with a barrier in front of it,
it hits anybody in it's way, while Zhu Rong attacks to her left and
right simultaneously and quickly.

L1 = Block ( Not Moving )

L1 + Left Analogue Stick = Block ( Moving )

5.f) Zhu Rong: How to unlock her
-----------------------------------

To unlock Zhu Rong, all you have to do is complete Shu
Stage 4. After you have finished the battle, Zhu Rong will be
unlocked, along side her husband Meng Huo.

5.g) Zhu Rong: Why use her?
-----------------------------

This is a good question! Why should you use Zhu Rong?
Because I said so... Not really. 
Because she's very powerful, in Chaos mode her charges
can get you out of tricky situations, her moves look good,
she has the potential to become one of the best characters
in the game, she also can build up her combos to kill even
Lu Bu with minimal distraction on Chaos Mode!

Just give her a try!

5.h) Zhu Rong: Who works best in a team with her?
---------------------------------------------------

Thats really a matter of opinion on who works best in a team with her...
but if you build up Ranmaru, then he's good with her...
Hideyoshi is great with his special move, she's not that quick
but with his special, she is a lot quicker and can kill people more easily.
Or you could just choose whoever works best for you... your favourite
character, or your strongest character, it's entirely up to you!

Oh on a side note... Hideyoshi is great with Zhu Rong, but I have to
admit, his voice is very annoying so don't let that stop you from
using him, although it nearly stopped me from using him.

Here are some of the teams that I have used...

Here you go:

Team 1
--------

Zhu Rong, Kunoichi and Ranmaru Mori

Kunoichi, if you have built her up can really help with her R1 special,
especially on Chaos mode. Ranmaru is a great crowd clearer.
His SSSTTT is a great crowd clearer if you have Agility 10.
Read below to know how to use Zhu Rong.

Team 2
--------

Zhu Rong, Meng Huo and Kunoichi

To know how to use Kunoichi, read above, and come on, you can't
really split up Zhu Rong and Meng Huo, okay, I lied, you can, but it's
not right, you have to have at least one team with them both in, and
mainly Meng Huo is there because his attacks can be quite powerful.
Read below to know how to use Zhu Rong.

Team 3
--------

Zhu Rong, Kunoichi and Hideyoshi

To know how to use Kunoichi, read above. Hideyoshi is there mainly
because of his special move, just use that to give Zhu Rong an edge
and make her more powerful as I find most of her moves to be quite
slow. This team is one of the best you can have with Zhu Rong.

5.i) Zhu Rong: How to use her
-------------------------------

Zhu Rong is quite easy to use. All of her moves are relatively easy
to pull off. Most of her moves are effective. Her TTTT move is effective
if you want to start off a combo. Her ST is also another good move
to get her started on a combo.

Her SSTTT move is excellent. If you can get a combo started on them,
and have Hideyoshi's speed buff on, you can easily kill someone with
this move, of course it helps if you have air and fire on your weapon.

Her SSST is effective too. It clears out the enemies around you if
you are surrounded. Her SSSST and SSSSST are not the best moves.
Although they can be effective, you're better off sticking with the first ones.

Her SSSSSSSSS is a great move and really easy to do. This move
is powerful, and at the end she does her SSST move.

5.j) Zhu Rong: Recommended Weapon Attributes
----------------------------------------------

First off I'm going to give you a list of the attributes, and what they do.

Here you go...
-----------------

Fire: Sets opponent on fire with some charge attacks, good for the
earlier difficulty settings.

Ice: Freezes opponents with some charge attacks.

Bolt: Very powerful, with some charge attacks but 100%
guaranteed to happen. Very powerful, good for all modes.

Slay: Very powerful, does good damage against generals and
can kill peons in one hit, with some charge attacks.

Brave: Increases your attack strength against generals.

Flash: Breaks through the enemy's guard.

Air: Increases your attack strength when enemies are airborne.

Range: Increases your attack range.

Multi: Produces Clones when doing charge attacks.

Drain: Absorbs enemy's life.

Might: Increases attack strength.

Absorb: Absorbs enemy's musou.

Agility: Increases attack speed, all charge attacks.

Rage: Increases Strength, Decreases Health.

That's all of them. All of these go up to 10, the attack goes up 20 and
you can have 8 slots. 

Here's the weapons:

This weapon is great for killing things. A very good weapon and especially
good if you just love to juggle with Zhu Rong.

Weapon 2:
------------

Bolt
Slay
Flash

Might
Agility
Brave
Ice

This weapon is pretty much the same, just that you can freeze people.

It honestly doesn't matter which weapon you choose, they are both good.

5.k) Zhu Rong: How to unlock her Personal Item
-------------------------------------------------

Unlocking Zhu Rong's Personal Item is quite easy.
First of all do the Shu Story.
The battle is Jie Ting, Gaiden 5
Oh you have to be Zhu Rong for all of this.
Bear in mind you can get this item on any difficulty setting.

Here is what you have to do...
--------------------------------

You have to do the following before the pincer attack is successful...

Kill Sun Shang Xiang and kill 300 enemies. Then, when the
pincer attack is successful, the Item will appear, run over and get it.
This is a very easy Personal Item to get.

The name of her Personal Item is Wings of the Fire God for those of
you who were wondering.

5.l) Zhu Rong: How to get a good 4th weapon
----------------------------------------------

To get Zhu Rong a good 4th weapon do this...

Get her to a level 80+
Get her Personal Item
Get her proficiency maxed
Get a good 3rd weapon
Now go to the Wu Story and go to Gaiden 4, Wan Castle. It doesn't
matter who you have in your team as you should only need Zhu Rong
for this battle. Okay. Done? Do this level on Chaos mode! Yes
Chaos mode! There are 4 weapon boxes in this level. 3 in actual
boxes and 1 off of Pang De. This level really isn't hard. You don't even
have to make sure that the peasants survive.

Now that you have got the 4th weapon, it's time to start using it! Make
sure you have a lot of weapon fusion points. Because you are going to
need them.

Note:
---------

This stage is great for getting everybody's 4th weapons. Just use
Zhu Rong and get even the weakest character's 4th weapons!

5.m) Zhu Rong: Name of Weapons
---------------------------------

Here's the names of Zhu Rong's weapons and their base attacks

5.n) Zhu Rong: Abilities she unlocks
---------------------------------------

Okay, here I am going to put the skills Zhu Rong unlocks, and how
she unlocks them.

Here is the list:
-------------------

1. Potence - Increases attack strength.
Conditions - Defeat 60 enemies

2. Power - Increases abilities of Power category Warriors.
Conditions - Defeat 80 enemies within 12 minutes of the start of the
battle.

3. Awakening - Strengthens Musou Attacks.
Conditions - Defeat 110 enemies, while maintaining 50% life
gauge status.

4. Conserve - Reduces Musou Gauge usage.
Conditions - Defeat 6 officers within 8 minutes of the start of the
battle, without performing any attack using the musou gauge.

That's them all!

Okay here we go...
Nobody really asks me questions about Zhu Rong...
I have an idea, I'll make some up!

Question: Which weapon do you use in your Recommended
Weapon Attributes, 1 or 2?
Answer: 1.

Question: Which team do you use in your who works best in a
team with her, 1, 2 or 3?
Answer: All of them, but I use 3 the most.

Question: What is Zhu Rong best at, Crowd Clearing, or General
Defeating?
Answer: Both, but mostly General Defeating. Since her SSTTT move
is great as it keeps the enemies in just one place and is powerful.

Question: Which one of Zhu Rong's outfits do you like better in
this game, number 1 or 2?
Answer: 1

Question: Why does Zhu Rong wear them awful clothes, they are
disgusting!
Answer: I don't know? Go and ask the game producers, and I
think they look cool. Plus, she did live in Nanman, they didn't
exactly have the materials they needed to make the clothes now
did they?

Question: Hey you just asked me a question!
Answer: It was a rhetorical question.

Question: This FAQ is rubbish!
