Welcome to my first FAQ. This FAQ is about the Stealth Action game Splinter 
Cell. I will try to give you the best/easiest way to complete the game 100%. 
While I've tried my best to prevent spoilers, it's not completely safe to read
any further than where you are, especially for the later missions. Since this 
is my first FAQ, I would like as much response as possible on what could be 
better, and on what's good.

WHAT I WANT:

- Constructive criticism. If there is any room for improvement in my guide

- Questions that are not clearly answered in the guide or in the games manual.

- Information about spelling and grammar mistakes. I'm Norwegian so there is 
bound to be some errors in the guide. Please let me know so that I can fix 
them.

WHAT I DON'T WANT: 

- Spam, viruses, porn etc.

- Mails that are hard to read. Use proper grammar/spelling. Mails like `Plz 
hlp!!! im stuck on teh 8 mision and dont kno what to do!!` will not be read or
answered. 

- Unpleasant mails. `YOU SUCK!!` and the likes is just plain childish. If you
think my FAQ is bad, send a mail with suggestions for what I could have done
better.

Put Splinter Cell or something like that in the title so I know what your mail
is about.

- Read carefully through the game manual to learn about every aspect of the
game. There is also a very useful hints and tips part there.

- If you need to put yourself out of, or get through fire, roll. This is done
by pressing and holding the O button while moving.

- When using the sniper mode on the SC-20K press L1 to hold your breath and 
get better accuracy.

- Cans and bottles (Objects in the interaction menu) are perfect for luring a
guard to a certain area. They could even knock him out if thrown at the head.

- When shooting at someone, always aim at the head. This saves ammunition and
doesn't give your enemy a change to retaliate.

- Watch where you're walking. Stepping on papers or glass-shards on the ground
makes sound.

- Always shoot out as many lights as you can.

- Only use the SC-20K if you have to shoot out something in the distance or in
gunfights. Use the pistol if your target is close.

- If there is an alarm limit on a level, always hide the bodies!

- Stay crouched as much as possible. You make less sound and are more hidden 
while crouched.

- If you get directly over an enemy, you can knock him out by dropping down on
him.

- Always use the optic cable before entering a door to make sure what is 
behind it.

- When disabling wall mines, sneak up to it and choose disable wall mine from
the interact menu only when the light is green. The best way to make sure you
get it right is to press and hold the X button. If the light is green, go 
ahead and disable the wall mine, if it's red, use the back to game 
interaction.  

- If you're not pleased with that last gunfight or sounded an alarm more than
you'd like to, but don't want to restart from the last savepoint, get killed 
or fail the mission somehow on purpose. Now you'll start from the last 
checkpoint.

- Remember to go back to fill up on ammunition or items you've had to leave 
because you couldn't carry any more, before a savepoint.

- To use the disposable pick, select it in your inventory, walk up to a locked
door and press R1.

|MISSION 1: TRAINING|

This is a tutorial level and the game will tell you how to do all of the 
things you have to do in this mission. If you can't complete this mission 
without using a guide then this game is really not for you. Also, you should
use this level (especially the first part) to get familiar with the controls
and special moves.

At the start, move the camera to find the red lights that will light up on the
wall to the left, the wall to the right, in the ceiling and on the ground in 
front of you. When you are able to move, go to one of the yellow arrows and 
jump to grab onto the ledge above you. Shimmy until you reach the gap in the 
wall and pull yourself up. Move towards the yellow arrows and climb up the 
ladder. When you reach the top, you'll see a zipline above you to the left. 
Jump to grab onto it, and you'll automatically slide down. Now, climb down the
pole near the yellow arrows. At the bottom, crouch, and walk under the 
obstacle. Go left and you can practise doing a split jump between the two 
narrow walls. Move on and jump to grab onto the pipe. Hand over hand until you
reach the hole in the wall. Lift your legs up to get through it. Climb over 
the fence to your right. Turn around, go left and put your back to the wall to
get through the narrow gap. Climb up the pole and down the ladder. To get over
the final wall do a double jump off of one of the sidewalls. 

*SAVEPOINT* 

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Open the door to the next training area.

When you start again, move to the door in the far corner. Open it, and you'll
see another door. You'll also complete the `Open the door` objective and 
receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Pick the lock on the door.

The next door is locked and you'll need to pick it open. Entering the next
room, you'll reach a checkpoint. You'll also complete the `Pick open the door`
objective and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Interrogate your opponent for the keypad code.

In this room you'll have to sneak up on the guard, grab him and interrogate
him. Afterwards, knock him out, and use the keypad to open the door (the code
is 28469.) Enter the next room to reach a checkpoint.

You'll complete the `Interrogate your opponent` objective and receive a new 
objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Force your opponent to use the retinal scanner.

Sneak up on the guard and grab him. Drag him over to the retinal scanner and
force him to use it. Knock him out and proceed to the next door. Enter the
next room and to reach a checkpoint. You'll also complete the `Force your
opponent...` objective and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Shoot the lights to sneak past the camera to the exit.

Now, use your gun to shoot out the light above you. Peek around the corner and
shoot out the next light. The room is now in complete darkness, and the camera
won't be able to see you. Enter the next room to reach a checkpoint. You'll 
also complete the `Shoot the lights` objective and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Shoot the camera to disable it.

Here there is a camera that you'll need to shoot out. Approach the corner and
peek around it. From here you shouldn't have any problems with shooting out
the camera. Enter the next room to reach a checkpoint. You'll also complete 
the `Shoot the camera` objective and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Pass by the camera without shooting anything.

In this room you'll have to sneak past a camera using just the existing 
shadows. Watch the camera, and when it turns away, run into the area with 
shadows between the two windows. Stand here and watch the camera. When it
turns away again, run through the last part with light and into the shadows.
Enter the next room to reach a checkpoint. You'll also complete the `Pass by
the camera` objective and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Knock out and hide your opponent's body from the guard.

Sneak up on the guard on the right and knock him out. Take his body over to 
the area with shadows and hide him there to complete the `Knock out your 
opponent` objective and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Remain undetected until the guard completes his patrol.

When the next guard enters the room, stay in the shadows and wait until
he leaves again to complete the `Remain undetected` objective. Go to where the
first guard stood. Open the door and enter the next room to reach a 
checkpoint. You'll receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Make your way to the exit without making noise.

In this room you have to stay completely quiet. Be sure to stay crouched, and
moving as slow as you can. When you get to the foggy area, make sure not to 
walk into any of the hanging chains. The last part of the room has got
glass-shards on the floor, so walk as slow as possible here. When you enter
the next room you'll have completed the mission and you're given the 
opportunity to save again.

|MISSION 2: POLICE STATION|

OBJECTIVES: - Rendezvous with local NSA informant Thomas Gurgenidze for 
            information on Blaustein's area of operation. 
            - Killing civilians will result in Mission Failure.
            - Touching the street will result in Mission Failure.  

From the start, go right and up the steps. Jump to grab onto the ladder right 
in front of you. Climb to the top and don't worry about the music popping up. 
It was just a civilian who can't do anything that saw you. On the roof, you 
should find a trap right in front of you. Open it and drop down. Follow the 
tunnel until you get to an area with lots of pipes. Climb up the biggest one 
in the corner. On the roof you'll get to, there's a zipline above you. Jump 
to grab onto it and slide down. When you land, go through the door in front of
you. To the left of you there is another door. Go through that. In this next 
room there is a door in the far right corner. Go through this, and you'll have
a staircase to your left. Go down this and be sure not to walk into the 
flames. Remember, if you do, you can put yourself out by rolling. When you get
to the part where a fire is blocking your way, look right and you'll see a 
hallway with a big hole in the floor. To get past this, jump and grab onto the
pipe just inside the doorway. When you get across the hole, drop down and go 
left. Enter the door to your right. You'll see a door on the left wall. Enter
this and use the staircase on your right to get to the top floor. At the top
of the staircase, you'll get to a hallway with a door on the left wall. Open
this to get to the room where the contact is. He is lying under a piece of
metal near the fire. Approach him and talk to him. This will complete the 
`Rendezvous with the NSA informant` objective and give you a new objective. 

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Find the black box hidden in Blaustein's apartment.

Look back towards the door you entered this room from, and you'll see another 
door near the corner. Open this and you'll see another room right in front of 
you. This room is filled with smoke and you'll die if you enter it. To deal 
with this, get out your gun and shoot the window in the roof. Wait a bit until
all the smoke is gone, and you can safely enter the room. In this room there 
is a door on the right wall. Enter it to get to a

When you start again, open and go through the door. Go right and follow the 
balcony. When you reach the wall, look up to see a pipe. Jump and grab onto 
it. Hand over hand until you reach the other side. You'll have to pull your 
legs up to get over the railing. Drop down on the other side and you'll hear a
guard talking in a cell phone. Go straight forward until you see an opening in
the wall to the right. Walk into the opening and shoot out the two lights near
the guard. Now the whole area should be in darkness. The guard will become 
suspicious and start wandering around, but after a while he walks back to 
where he first was and stand still. Slowly sneak up on him from behind and 
grab him. Drag him down the steps and wait for another guard to come out. When
he does he'll stand still just outside the door and you can shoot him. Knock 
out the guard you're holding and hide the bodies. Now, enter the door the 
second guard came from. Once you enter it, you'll see a computer on a table to
your right. Use this for a data stick and a note. Move through the house until
you get to a room with blue walls. In the doorway before this room you'll find
a med kit on the floor. In the blue-walled room, approach the painting on the
left wall and you should be able to slide it open. Behind the painting you'll
find a computer. Use this to get a data stick, a door code, complete the 
`Find the black box` objective and give you a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Find Gurgenidze's dead drop in Morevi Square to figure out 
               how to get into the Police Precinct.

To exit this room, go through the keypad-locked door (the code is 091772.) 
Once outside, go left to find a zipline. Jump and grab onto it, and you'll 
slide to a roof. Go through the doorway in front of you and follow the hallway
until you get to an elevator shaft. Carefully aim for the cables that hang 
from the roof. Jump, grab onto them and slide down. Open the trap and drop 
down to reach a
 
*SAVEPOINT*

When you start again, you'll have completed the `Don't touch the streets` 
objective, and you're now free to go anywhere you want. Pick open the locked 
door in the corner and exit this room through it. Walk outside and you'll hear
two guards talking to a civilian. Stop in the shadows and look over the 
railing to see a container beneath you. Climb onto the railing and drop 
quietly down onto the container (crouch before you drop down.) Stand up and 
drop down on the papers to the left of the container. This will make one of 
the guards come over to investigate. Move over to the front of the container 
and stay close to the wall. If you did this right, the guard will come over 
and stand with his back against you for a couple of seconds. Knock him out, 
and don't bother hiding the body since it's already in the shadows. As for the
other guard, just shoot him in the head and hide his body near his friend. 
Ignore the civilian as he's drunk and won't do anything. If you're having 
trouble with this there is a way to get past this area without dealing with 
the guards at all. When you climb onto the railing look to your right to see a
small ledge on the wall. Grab on to this and shimmy all the way over to the 
small roof. Climb up onto the roof and walk over to the other side of it to 
see that the ledge continues on the other side. Grab onto the ledge and shimmy
to the corner. Drop down and continue on with the mission as normal. Follow
the roads until you get to a big, open square. Here, head for the red light
in the far corner. You should find a tunnel leading to a room with some 
ammunition, two med kits and a computer. Use the computer to complete the 
`Find the dead drop` objective and receive a new objective. 

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Locate Agent Blaustein in the Police Precinct.

Exit the tunnel and you'll see that a guard has arrived in the square. Your 
best way to deal with him would be to stay hidden in the shadows and make a 
sound (jumping, firing your gun etc.) Get close to him from behind when he 
comes over to investigate, and knock him out. Hide him in the shadows. 
Continue through the newly opened gates to reach a checkpoint.

Follow the only path you can, and you'll soon see a civilian wandering the 
streets. You aren't allowed to kill this guy, so sneak into the shadows near 
the spot where he turns around. Wait for him to come by and knock him out. 
Hide the body in the shadows. Further down the road you'll find a guard 
patrolling. When he isn't around, sneak into the shadows near the door in the
corner. When the guard comes over, quickly sneak up on him and knock him out. 
Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick and hide his body in the 
shadows. Follow the roads until you get to a guard and some plants. The guard 
will walk away from you and stand still on the far side of the path. You can't
sneak up on him unnoticed because the floor is noisy, so climb up on the 
plant-roof thing and drop down on the guard at the end to knock him out. Hide
his body in the nearest shadows, which would be near the container in the next
area. To get over the wall, climb up on the container and do a double jump off
of the left wall. When you drop down from the wall, you'll reach a

Go down the stairs and enter the door at the bottom. When you do, a guard 
be walking away from you. Follow him until you get past the first cell. You 
should be able to do a split jump between the two wall parts here. Do so, and 
drop down on the guard to knock him out when he comes back. Hide his body in 
the shadows. Continue down the hallway and enter the sliding door on the left 
wall. Use the computer in this room for a data stick. Exit through the sliding
door. This next guard seems glitchy on my game, so if he acts different for 
you, please let me know by sending me an e-mail. Anyway, this is how I dealt 
with him. Switch off the lights in the room with the computer, and shoot out 
the light between the two doors in the hallway. Approach the other door and 
use your optic cable to see that the guard can't exit the door because you're
blocking it. Exit the optic cable view, and time your movement so that you 
retreat back around the corner right after the guard tries to open the door. 
If you did this right, you'll be in the shadows behind the corner, while the
guard will come out and somehow notice that the light in the room with the
computer has been switched off. He'll walk over towards the sliding door to 
turn on the light, and somewhere along this point you should be able to get 
behind him and knock him out. Hide the body in the shadows. Now continue down
the hallway and ignore the room the guard came from. When you reach the 
window, be sure to crouch and stay near the left wall when you walk past it, 
as there is a civilian in this room that may see you and sound an alarm 
otherwise. Head towards the sliding door on the left wall. Look through it, 
and when the civilian isn't looking, head inside the room and hide behind the
big cabinet. Watch the civilian's movements and when he is on your left side, 
sneak up on him and grab him. Interrogate him and knock him out. Shoot out a 
couple of lights to hide the body. In this room you'll find a computer near 
the blue sliding door. Use it for a data stick. Enter the blue sliding door, 
but stop in the opening. In the next room there is a camera on the wall right
in front of you. Shoot it out before entering the room. Pick up one the med 
kit on the chair. Step up to one of the bodies to complete the `Find Agent 
Blaustein` objective and get a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Access the Police Precinct's security surveillance system.

Go back to the hallway and enter the door to the left to reach a

Go up the stairway until you get to a door. Open it to enter a room with a 
guard and a civilian. Shoot out the light in the roof of the office where the 
guard is. He'll walk over to investigate, but then he'll just stand still 
forever, so shoot him in the head. The civilian shouldn't be a problem as he 
just runs around and doesn't set off any alarms. Remember to only knock him 
out and not kill him. Hide the bodies in some shadows and use the computer in
the guard's office for a data stick. Also make sure to pick up the med kit to 
the left of the computer. Exit this room through the door hidden behind the 
office on the opposite side of the room from where you entered. Walk up the 
stairs and you'll reach a checkpoint.

At the top turn left and you'll be in a room with two sitting guards. You may 
only see one, but there is two. However, if you sneak up on the closest guard
and grab him, his friend won't notice. Drag him over to the stairs and knock 
him out. Sneak up on the second guard, grab him and knock him out. The first 
room on the right wall is a good place for hiding the bodies. Use the 
computer in this room and the computer in the room with the guards for two 
data sticks. Now enter the door in the corner of the room. In this room there
is an easy guard. Just sneak up on him and knock him out. Use the red-screened
computer to complete the `Access the surveillance system` objective and 
receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Meet Junior Wilkes in front of the Police Precinct for 
               extraction.

Backtrack to the room with the civilian and the guard. Exit through the double
doors on the opposite wall from the office to complete your remaining 
objectives, and the mission.

|MISSION 3: DEFENcE MINISTRY|
|---------------------------|

OBJECTIVES: - Infiltrate the East Wing of the Georgian Defence Ministry.
            - Discover Vyacheslav Grinko's whereabouts by interrogating his
            driver.
            - Tripping an alarm will result in Mission Failure.

Walk towards the Georgian flag to see a small chimney. Rappel down from this 
and drop in through the open window to complete the `Infiltrate the East Wing`
objective. Move over to the corner straight in front of you and stay there. A
guard will come over and walk in between the bookshelves. When he goes back 
and sits down get out your gun and shoot out the camera over the door opening
on the far side of the room. The guard will get up to investigate. Wait until
he gets back and sits down. Sneak up on him from behind, knock him out and 
hide his body in the shadows. Use the computer in this room for a data stick.
Go into the small hallway under the camera and approach the door on the right
wall. Use your optic cable to see that a guard is patrolling the next hallway.
Wait until he comes over to the door, turns around and has gone some steps 
away from it before entering. Quickly move to one of the sides and hide in the
shadows near the pillars sticking out of the wall. When the guard walks past 
you towards the door you came from, quietly follow him and knock him out when
he stops. For now, hide the body near one of the pillars. Sneak up on the 
other guard in the hallway and knock him out. The safest place to hide the 
bodies would be where you hid the first guard in this mission. Go through the
the door on the left wall near where the second guard was standing. Go up the
stairs here, and when you reach the top you'll see a med kit lying on the 
floor. Pick it up and go down again. Now, counting from the door you entered 
this room from, the second and fourth stair will have a camera after them, so
make sure to stop and shoot those out. At the bottom of the stairs you'll 
reach a checkpoint. 

Open the door in front of you and stay in the doorway. There is a camera on 
the right wall, so shoot it out. Go left and then right towards the blue car.
Pull out your gun and peek around the corner. There is a camera there, so 
shoot it out. Grinko's driver is in this area. You'll have to sneak up on him,
grab him and interrogate him. The best way to do this would be to quickly move
over towards his car, and then sneak up on him and grab him when he goes to 
take a pee. Interrogate him and knock him out to complete the `Discover 
Grinko's whereabouts` objective and receive three new objectives.

NEW OBJECTIVES: - Infiltrate the South Wing of the Georgian Defence Ministry.
                - Deactivate the courtyard security laser grid.
                - Laser-mic the Grinko and Masse conversation in the glass
                elevator leading to Nikoladze's office.

Hide the driver's body in some shadows. Backtrack to the hallway with the two
guards. Head to the far right corner to find a door that was locked before. 
Open it and shoot out the camera that is over the doorway. Use the two 
computers in this room for two data sticks. Crawl onto the table and jump into
the vent to reach a

*SAVEPOINT*

When you start again, you'll have completed the `Infiltrate the South Wing` 
objective and received a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Killing civilians will result in Mission Failure.

Follow the vent until you can drop down. Do so, and switch off the lights in 
the room you land in. Stay in this room and watch as a guard comes into the 
kitchen to talk with the chef. Wait until he leaves the kitchen and the door 
closes behind him before sneaking up on the chef and knocking him out. Switch
off the lights in the kitchen to hide the body. Exit through the door near the
light switch. The guard from the kitchen is now standing still with his back 
turned against you. Sneak up on him and knock him out. Switch off the lights
in the cafeteria and hide the body. Head right down the hall where the guard 
was standing and go down the stairs. Now, below you, you'll have two guards 
and the computer you need to use. This area may be a bit difficult, but this 
should do the trick. Move over to the left side of the left stairway. Position
yourself so that you can drop down into the shadows. Climb onto the railing 
and you'll automatically "slide" down from it and grab onto it on the other 
side. While "sliding", press O to crouch. The point is that you don't make a 
noise and attract the guards when you land. Move into the shadows under the 
left stairway if you aren't there already. When the patrolling guard is on the
right side of the room, shoot the guard standing near you. Stay where you are
and let the patrolling guard walk a couple of rounds back and forth. If he 
spots the other guard, you'll have to be quick and shoot him while he checks 
the other guard. If he doesn't, you shouldn't have a hard time shooting him 
when he stops. Just remember that shooting through the stairs will be near 
impossible. Hide both of the bodies before you use the red-screened computer.
Use the computer to complete the `Deactivate the security laser grid` 
objective. Quickly hide in some shadows as a colonel is coming your way. Do
not knock him out or shoot him! You have to use him to open a retinal-locked
door. When he sits down at the computer, sneak up on him and grab him. Drag
him over to the retinal-scanner and force him to use it. Knock him out and
pick up the satchel he dropped for a med kit. Hide his body. Enter the newly
opened door to reach a checkpoint.

Stay close to the wall that the door is on, and peek around the camera to 
shoot out the camera there. Get out your laser-mic before you open the door.
Open the door and a cutscene will play. It shows two men walking into a glass
elevator. Aim with the laser-mic towards the elevator so that the square 
changes colour. Move the laser-mic upwards when the elevator moves. When the 
conversation stops, you'll have completed the `Laser-mic the conversation`
objective. Quickly move right, into the shadows in the corner as a guard
will come out from the door you just came from, and another guard will come
from somewhere else in the courtyard. When Lambert stops talking you'll have
completed the `No alarms` objective and you are now free to sound three
alarms. You'll also receive two new objectives.

NEW OBJECTIVES: - Infiltrate the North Wing of the Georgian Defence Ministry.
                - Access Nikoladze's personal computer in his office.

The guard that came out from the same door as you will start to patrol the 
right side of the courtyard. Get close to where he stops and shoot him. Hide
his body. Go back and stick to the shadows to get to the left side of the 
courtyard. It is much easier to take out the other guard here. Shoot him when
he comes over to the left wall. Pick up the satchel he drops for a data stick.
Hide the body. Move over to the opposite side of the courtyard from where you
entered (the side with a bright yellow window.) Jump to grab onto the plants
to the right of the door. Climb up to reach a

When you start again, you'll have completed the `Infiltrate the North Wing`
objective. Quickly move into the room to the left of the elevator after the 
cutscene. Turn off the lights in this small room and let the door close. Use
your optic cable to see two guards coming out of the elevator. Wait until one 
of the guards starts patrolling the right side of the hallway and the other 
becomes stationary at the left side. When the patrolling guard is on the right
side of the door, open the door and don't move. The door should not close. 
When the guard comes towards you, he'll see the open door, but not you. When 
he does, retreat back into the room. The guard will come in to turn on the 
lights and you should knock him out when he does. If you do this right, the 
other guard shouldn't notice, and you can just sneak up on him and knock him
out. Hide the bodies in the room besides the elevator. Use the elevator to go
up. At the top, you'll need to get into the locked room to your left quickly,
as there is a guard coming your way. Use a disposable pick or pick it fast
(the quadrants are up-right, down-left, down-right.) If you manage to get into
the room without the guard noticing you, turn off the lights in this room.
Use the computer for a data stick. Climb onto the table, jump and get yourself
into the left side of the vent above you. Follow the vent around the corner
and drop down. For some reason, the camera straight in front of you won't see
you when you drop down, so shoot it out. Head in through the door on the left
wall and you'll be in a room with a med kit on the left wall and some pistol
ammunition on the shelves to the right. Climb up the ladder in here and open
the trap at the top. Head right, and you'll see a small chimney like the one
you rappelled down from at the beginning of this mission. Rappel down from it.
Do not kick off from the wall to break the window! The guard in the room will 
kill you easily if you do. Instead, rappel down onto the window and get out 
your gun. Shoot the guard to both kill him and break the window. Before using
the red-screened computer, shoot out both of the lights in this room, hide the
guard's body and pick up the satchel he dropped for a frag grenade. Use the 
computer to complete the `Access Nikoladze's computer` objective. While
Lambert is talking; position yourself so that you are in complete shadows. A
guard is coming to the office. Be quick to shoot him when he comes. After you
have killed him Lambert will give you a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Complete the data transfer from Nikoladze's computer.

Use the computer a second time to complete this objective and receive a new 
objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Rendezvous with Jr. Wilkes in the basement parking garage for
               extraction.

Exit the office to reach a checkpoint. Go left around the corner and enter the
door to the left. Head down the stairs and pick up the med kit at the bottom. 
This area is a bit hard, as there is a guard patrolling outside and another 
one is coming down the same stairs as you did. The way I did it was by using
the optic cable to see when the outside guard was far away from the door (it's
pretty difficult to see him, you'll barely see his head over the railing.)
Then I ran out through the door, down the stairs and into the shadows. The 
guard noticed the sound and went over to the stairs to investigate. I shot him
when he stopped at the bottom of the stairs. The other guard was easy to shoot
when he came over and stopped to investigate the body of the other guard. You
could also shoot him when he turns his back against you at the top of the 
stairs. Hide both of the bodies in the shadows. Head around the corner to see
what looks like an elevator shaft. There is a pipe on the opposite wall from
the opening. Jump, grab onto it and slide all the way down. Drop down at the 
end and you'll find yourself in the parking area. Don't worry about the 
gunshots, it's just Wilkes killing a guard. Head into the area where Grinko's
driver was and talk to Wilkes to complete your remaining objectives, and the
mission.

OBJECTIVES: - Infiltrate the oil refinery by the main pipeline.
            - Trail the mercenary technician.

Climb up the ladder in front of you. At the top, go right and walk over the
three pipes to get to a big red pipe. Follow this pipe and when you reach the
barbed-wire jump to grab onto the pipe above you. You'll have to pull up your
legs to get across the barbed-wire. Drop down on the other side and look right
to see a ledge. Jump and grab onto it. Shimmy left all the way until you reach
some red thing that is blocking your way. You should be able to grab onto this
red thing from the ledge you're hanging from. Shimmy left and drop down at the
red pipe. Crouch to walk under the red thing and you'll reach a checkpoint.

Go onto the platform to your right and look for a zipline above you. Grab 
onto this and you'll slide down onto a platform. Crouch and walk under the red
pipe. Here you should find a vertical pipe. Climb it to the top. Position 
yourself so that your back is towards the red pipe below you. When you drop 
down you should land on the pipe. Walk forwards towards the flames, and you'll
drop down into a hole in the pipe. Move forwards in the pipe and you'll 
eventually reach a

When you start again you'll have completed the `Infiltrate the oil refinery` 
objective. Climb up the ladder to the right. Open the trap and pull yourself
up. A cutscene will play. Wait a bit for the technician and the guard 
following him to leave this area. If one of them spots you, you'll fail the 
mission. Turn around and find the pillar on the right side with a ladder on 
it. Climb it to the top. Drop down on the catwalk to the right. Head around 
the right corner and climb onto the blue thing here. Jump to grab onto the 
pipe above you. Pull up your legs and head towards the catwalk with a 
patrolling guard. Drop down on him to knock him out. Head towards the stairs
going up and you'll reach a

From here and until the next checkpoint you'll have kind of a time limit. If
you fall too far behind the technician you'll fail the mission. Lambert will
give you two warnings, so if he starts to talk you better hurry. Also remember
that there is no need for hiding the bodies as there is no alarm limit. 

Sneak up along the left wall and shoot the guard who is too busy to see you. 
Go left, and then right and stop before you reach the corner. You should see 
the tech, the guard following him and another guard. Wait for the tech to 
enter the door before shooting the guard here. Crouch when you walk under the 
window, or else the tech might see you. You'll need to hide the body of the 
guard you just shot because the tech and the guard is coming back towards this
area. Hide somewhere and wait for Lambert to talk to you. You'll now have 
completed the `Trail the technician` objective and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Retrieve the laptop from the mercenary technician's 
               briefcase.

Pick up the satchel the guard dropped for a data stick. Head inside to where
the tech and the guard was. Pick up the med kit on the table to the left. Go
right and you should find another med kit lying in the kitchen. Go outside 
again and head right. Follow the only way you can here and you'll reach a 
checkpoint.

Jump onto the red thing and look for a pipe leading through a broken window. 
Jump to grab onto this and go through the window (you'll have to pull up your
legs.) Inside, you'll see a cutscene. Drop down on one of the shelves and 
shoot the guard in here. Drop down and pick up the med kit lying on one of 
the shelves. Also pick up the pistol ammo lying near the computers. Exit 
through the doors and walk up the stairs. A cutscene will play hen you're 
halfway up the stairs. Stop near the top and look left to see a guard above 
you. There is also a guard on the same level as you. Shoot this guard first. 
It is very important that you kill him in one shot, or else the guard on the 
left will spot you. Shoot the guard to the left afterwards. Pick up the 
satchels the guards dropped for two data sticks. The only way forward is the 
opening in the middle of the lower level. Head right around a couple of 
corners and a new cutscene will play. Head down the stairs in the area you're 
in and open the door at the bottom. The guard down here is way too busy to 
notice you, so you shouldn't have any problems shooting him. Go through the 
door on the left wall and pick up the med kit on the heating water supply. 
Approach the only unblocked door and an explosion will block your way back. 
When you walk out of the door, a timer will start. Head left to see the 
technician. Grab and interrogate him. If you're running low on time (10 
seconds), knock him out and pick up the satchel and the briefcase he drops to
stop the timer, complete your remaining objective, and the mission.

|MISSION 5: CIA HEADQUARTERS|

OBJECTIVES: - Retrieve the SC-20K from the storage room behind the battery 
            generator backup.
            - Access the CIA central server to identify and locate the 
            information leak.
            - Any agency fatality will result in Mission Failure.

At the start of the mission you'll notice that you have no weapon. This is 
because you'll get your SC-20K later in this mission. You aren't allowed to 
kill anyone anyway, so you'll have to stick to knocking out people for now.

Follow the hallway and stop after you're past the lights. A technician will
cross the hallway and enter the door on the left wall. Stick to one of the 
walls and wait for a guard to come over. When he does, follow him quickly, but
quietly and knock him out when he stops. Hide the body. Dealing with the tech 
is easy. Open the door he walked in. He'll see you and try to run out of the 
room. Since you're blocking the doorway, you can knock him out easily. Hide 
the body. Open the door the tech came from and use the computer in this room 
for a data stick and a door code. Continue down the hallway and go right. Stop
in the shadows near the corner. Wait for a guard to walk over and talk to 
another guard. When the guard leaves, go back and take the left path. Follow 
it until you get to a sliding door. Go through it and look for a guard to the 
left. Sneak up on him and knock him out. Pick up the satchel he dropped and 
use the computer in this room for two data sticks and door codes. Pick open 
the locked door in the corner. In this room you'll find a med kit and two 
sticky shockers. This is also a good place for hiding the guard's body. Go 
back and continue down the right path. Stop before the vending machines and 
observe the movement pattern of the tech down the hallway. When the coast is 
clear, move past the machines and find the spot with complete darkness near 
the left doorway. Wait until the patrolling tech is in the room to the right. 
Now, wait for the guard in the left room to stand still with his back turned 
against you at the far side of the room. sneak up on him, grab him and drag 
him over to the right side of the room. Knock him out in the shadows here. 
Pick up the satchel he dropped. When the other guard isn't around, go back and
find the spot with darkness again. Knock out the other guard when he turns his
back against you to enter the door code. Turn of the lights in the second room
on the left wall and hide both of the bodies in here. You'll also find a 
disposable pick in this small room. Enter the keypad-locked door on the right
wall (7687.) Once you're in the next room, use the light switch at the right 
side of the door to turn off the lights. A guard will come in and notice the 
lights, but for some reason seem unable to find the light switch. Wait until 
he starts patrolling back and forth from the next room and to the file 
cabinets in this room. Knock him out when he stops at the file cabinets. Enter
the room he came from and pick up the med kit on the wall. Use the computer in
here for a data stick and a door code. Open the keypad-locked door on the 
right wall (110598) and you'll reach a checkpoint.

In this room there are two techs and a guard will enter the room if they 
somehow think or know you're there. Go right and stop at the top of the stairs
Wait for the tech below you to move towards the other tech. Quickly go down 
around the corner and do a split jump in the shadows here. Do not drop down on
the tech when he walks below you! Instead wait until he moves over to the 
other tech again. You should be able to drop down, run around the corner and
knock both of them out before they even know what hit them. Pick up the 
satchel that one of them dropped. Hide the bodies near the door you entered 
from. Follow the only path you can take and you'll get to a room with a lot of
shelves and a camera noise. The shelf in the left corner has got your 
SC-20K, a sticky shocker, a ring airfoil and a sticky camera. Pick up the 
SC-20K to complete the `Retrieve the SC-20K` objective. Shoot out the camera
and enter the keypad-locked door (2977) to reach a

Follow the hallway and you'll get to a guard talking in a cell phone. Be quick
to sneak up on him and knock him out before he leaves. Hide the body. Continue
down the hallway and take the left path. Stay in the shadows near the right 
wall when you turn the corner. There is a guard and a tech in the room to the
right. When the guard is near the hallway, shoot the wall opposite the room.
Sneak up on the guard from behind and knock him out when he comes over to
investigate. The tech is easy to deal with. You can sneak up on him if you 
want, but I find it easier to just run in and knock him out. The alarm is at
the other side of the room from where he is, so you should have plenty of time
to reach him before he sounds it. Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data 
stick and a door code. Hide both of the bodies and use the two computers in 
the room. Enter the sliding doors on the other side of the hallway and you'll
reach a checkpoint.

Use the keypad (2019) to open the right door. Stop on the bridge leading to 
the platform in the middle. Get out a sticky shocker and use it to knock out
the guard patrolling guard below you. Hide his body at the upper level. Go 
through the door at the bottom level and open the next door to see the server
room. There is a camera at the opposite wall, behind the big thing in the 
middle. Peak around the right side of the big thing and shoot out the camera.
Go to the left side and use the red-screened computer here to complete the 
`Access the CIA central server` objective and receive a door code and a new
objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Tap Dougherty's computer to trace the intelligence leak to 
               the Georgians.

Go all the way back to the hallway and continue down the left side. Enter the 
toilets on the left side of the hallway and knock out the guard in here. Hide
the body. Continue down the hallway and you'll eventually reach a checkpoint.

Sneak along the left wall and get out a ring airfoil. Use it to knock out the
guard in the opening on the left wall. Do not continue through the metal 
detector! You'll sound an alarm and a guard will come. Climb into the little 
office where the guard was and pick up the satchel he dropped for a med kit.
Turn off the lights to hide the body. Exit the office and open the door at the
end of the hallway. In the next room there is two bullet-proof cameras hanging
from the roof. One is in the middle of the room and you can see its movements,
but the other is on the other side of the room and you won't see when you can
move past it. Approach the pillar in front of you to trigger a guard to come 
out from an opening at the other side of the room. Retreat to the shadows near
the metal detector. When the guard walks past you, follow him and knock him 
out when he stops. Hide the body in the shadows near the metal detector. I 
guess getting through the room without being spotted is most about luck. Use 
the right side of the room and time your movements so at least the camera you 
can see doesn't spot you. Go to where the guard came from and follow the
hallway here. Go down the stairs on the left side and you'll hear a camera. 
This is also bullet-proof, but the light in the room can be shot out and the
camera won't see anything. Use the keypad (110700) to open the door. Head 
inside to reach a checkpoint.

Once inside, you'll hear a guard talking in a cell phone. Sneak in through the
door on the left side. Carefully sneak up on him and knock him out. Turn off 
the lights in this room and hide the body. Wait for another guard to come. 
He'll notice the lights and you can knock him out when he is about to turn 
them on. Hide his body. Open the other door on the left wall. Pick up the 
flares and use the computer in front of you for a data stick. Pick up the 
flare near the turret and use the computer next to the turret to turn it off.
Pick open the door on the right wall and use the elevator in here to go up.
Exit the elevator to reach a 

*SAVEPOINT*

Go down the hallway you're in and open the door at the end. In the next room
there is two guards and a tech. Stay in the shadows and wait for one of the 
guards to walk away. Sneak further into the room so you can see the tech's 
movements. Wait for him to come to the screen close to you and when he goes
back again, sneak up on the sitting guard and grab him. Drag him over to the 
shadows and knock him out. The tech shouldn't see you completely. Either he'll
just barely see you and become suspicious, or he won't see you at all. If he 
comes over to investigate, don't knock him out yet. Wait until there is nobody
nearby. After you've knocked him out the other guard will start to patrol this
room. Find a spot near the place he stops and knock him out when he turns 
around to walk back. The tech won't even try to set off an alarm if he sees 
you, so you can just run up to him and knock him out. Hide the bodies in the 
shadows. Head out of this room through the door on the other side of the room.
Go inside the room on the right wall and use the computer in this office for a
data stick. Head further down the hallway and stop in the shadows near the 
computers. Dougherty will exit his office and leave this area. Use the 
computers for two data sticks and pick up the two sticky shockers lying 
besides the right computer. Wait for Dougherty to come back and leave again 
before entering his office. Use the red-screened computer in here to complete
the `Tap Dougherty's computer` objective. Wait for Lambert to finish talking 
to receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Kidnap Mitchell Dougherty.

Go down the hallway Dougherty went down and you'll reach a checkpoint.

Continue down the hallway and you'll see a guard and a camera. To get past 
those, enter the door on the left wall. Crouch, and go under the light from 
the projector. Once you're past it there is a guard to the left. Sneak up on
him and knock him out. Hide the body. Pick open the door near the guard and 
exit this room. When you exit, you'll see the guard and the camera to your 
right. Go down the left path. Crouch and stay in the shadows near the right 
wall when you walk past the window. You'll see a sitting guard in here. Go 
through the door on the right wall, sneak up on him and knock him out. Open 
the door to the toilets on the left wall and knock out the tech in here. Pick
up the satchel he dropped for a data stick and a door code. Turn off the 
lights and hide both of the bodies in here. Continue down the hallway and pick
open the door you'll eventually reach on the right wall. Use the computer and 
pick up the three sticky cameras in this office. Exit this room and use the 
keypad (0614) to open the double doors to the right. Go right and use your 
optic cable to see that Dougherty is standing right outside this door. Open it
and grab him/knock him out to reach a 

*SAVEPOINT*

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Take Mitchell Dougherty to the rendezvous point near the 
               document disposal loading dock.

Pick up Dougherty's body and carry him out through the sliding doors in front
of you. Hide him in the far right corner here. A guard will enter the area 
from the other side. I suggest shooting him with a ring airfoil, and then run 
up to him and knock him out while he is temporarily stunned. Hide his body. 
You can take Dougherty's body with you if you want, but it is just as easy to
leave him here for now. Follow the catwalks on the left side of the smoking 
area and Lambert will give you a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Incapacitate the CIA Security Officer speaking with Wilkes 
               and Baxter.

Head down the stairs and enter the sliding door at the bottom to reach a 
checkpoint.

There is a camera on the wall near the red light, so shoot it out from the top
of the stairs. Go down the stairs and enter the room on the right side. Jump 
onto the big metal thing right in front of you, and put a sticky shocker into
the patrolling guard here when you get the change. Hide the body and pick up 
the sticky shocker from the shelf before you leave. Exit through the sliding 
door on the opposite side of the room from where you entered. Follow the 
stairs until you get to an elevator on the left side. Watch the guard below 
you, and wait for him to go away before using the elevator to go down. Hide on
the spot with darkness right next to the elevator. Shoot the guard with a 
sticky shocker when you get a clear shot. Hide the body. Head into the parking
area, and you'll see the guard(to the right) talking to Wilkes and Baxter. Get
out your weapon and sneak towards them. When you're close enough, shoot the 
guard with a sticky shocker to complete the `Incapacitate the CIA Officer` 
objective. Hide the body. Go back and get Dougherty from wherever you left him
and bring him back to Wilkes to complete your remaining objectives, and the 
mission.

OBJECTIVES: - Infiltrate Kalinatek.
            - Access Kalinatek's fire emergency system to open the fire doors
            surrounding Ivan.
            - Find Ivan before the Russian Mafiosos kill him.

In this mission there are no alarms. This means that you don't have to hide 
the bodies. There is also a lot of med kits and ammunition lying around, so
don't be afraid to go into gunfights if you have to.

Head left and stay in the shadows. Climb onto the van and shoot the guard 
below you. Wait for another guard to come over to investigate, and shoot him 
to. Go towards where the other guard came from and enter the door to the left.
For some reason the lights here will be destroyed after a while. Pick up the
med kit lying halfway up the stairs. Now, this area is very glitchy. Sometimes
the three guards up ahead will be able to see you through a door while you're
in complete darkness. If they all start to shoot at the door, you're 
chanceless. Sometimes they don't see you at all, but they are still pretty 
hard because they are spread out in an open, lighted area. I have found the 
best way to be to stand still after picking up the med kit. One of the guards
should "see" you and become suspicious. It may take a couple of minutes, but 
he should eventually open the door at the top of the stairs. If you hear 
gunshots, you'll have to take a chance and open the door. You might get lucky
with the placement of the guards. If you don't hear any gunshots and the guard
comes over like he should, shoot him. Another guard should come over to 
investigate, so shoot him too. The last guard will now come over to 
investigate, and you can kill him too. Pick up the satchel that one of them 
dropped for a data stick. Head into the parking area and find the door near 
the L6 sign on the right wall. Open it and climb onto the boxes in the next 
room. Run out through the window to get onto the crate hanging outside. On 
the right side there is a pipe above you that you can grab onto. Hand over 
hand a bit forward to reach a

*SAVEPOINT*

When you start again you'll get pushed forward and eventually drop down on 
some sort of box on the crane. Turn around and jump over to the unfinished 
room to the right. Use the little chimney on the left side to rappel down. 
Stop outside the window and be quick to shot the guard you can see before he 
leaves. Shoot the other guard when he runs over to investigate. Continue 
rappelling down and you'll end up on a glass ceiling. Wait for a guard to come
below you. Shoot him, and you'll break the glass and drop down at the same
time. Pick up the satchel the guard dropped for a data stick and a door code.
Enter the sliding doors to the right to complete the `Infiltrate Kalinatek` 
objective. Use your newly acquired door code (97531) to open the door to the
right. Continue through the next door, and instead of opening the door in 
here, jump to get into the vent to the right to reach a checkpoint.

Follow the vent and a cutscene will play. Drop out of the vent at the end, and
pick up the disposable pick and the sticky shocker on the table in this room.
Open the right door and stay in the doorway. Shoot the patrolling guard when 
he stops outside the opening (not the opening right besides you, but the one
further down the hall.) Sneak up on the wall mine on the right wall and 
disable it. Pick up the satchel the guard dropped for another wall mine. When 
you reach the corner, turn right and shoot the guard up ahead. Shoot or 
disable the wall mine near him. Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data 
stick. Head back and enter the door near the dead tech. Go behind the table 
straight in front of you and pick up the disposable pick in here. Head out 
again and enter the other door on the left wall. In this room you'll find a 
ring airfoil on one of the tables. Enter the room near where the second wall 
mine was to find a med kit before going through the hole in the wall near the �
guard to reach a

*SAVEPOINT*

When you start again, stand in the opening of the hole, but don't go out yet.
Wait for a guard to turn on some lights in this area. Look to your right and 
the guard will enter your view and go back to where he came from shortly 
after. Go out of the hole and shoot out the tiny light above you. Hide in the
shadows to the left if you aren't there already. Look to the right side of the
room to see another tiny light in the roof. Shoot it out and wait for the 
guard to come. When he leaves again, head over to the right side of the room
and shoot out the light in the right corner. Hide in this corner and shoot the
guard when he comes over again. You'll see another guard from here who is just
standing still. You can easily shoot through the glass and kill him too. Pick 
up the sticky camera from the table near you, and go into the room where the 
second guard was. Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick. You can use
the computers in here if you want, but you won't get anything from them. Go 
out through the sliding door in this room. Shoot out the light above you, and 
sneak forward a bit, but stay in the shadows. Two guards will enter the room 
up ahead. One of them will set up a wall mine and the other one will leave 
shortly after. The guard who sat up the wall mine will start patrolling the 
room, and you can shoot him when he stops somewhere. Shoot out or disable the 
wall mine. Pick up the satchel the guard dropped for a med kit. Go through the
sliding door on the left wall and you'll be in the room with the techs and 
wall mines. Even though the guard stands still with his back towards you, you 
can't sneak up on him because the techs will start talking to you, and he'll 
notice you. Shoot him out from a safe distance instead. Pick up the satchel 
he dropped for a disposable pick. Disable the two wall mines and talk to the 
tech that doesn't leave to get a door code. Exit through the other sliding 
door in the little hallway besides the room to reach a checkpoint, receive a 
timer of 2.30 and a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Disarm the bomb planted in the Archives Room.

Follow the only path and head right when you can. Use the keypad (33575) to 
open the door here. Go through the door and head into the room to the right. 
Pick up the med kit near the dead tech and the sticky shocker on the table to
the right. There is a wall mine on the wall up ahead, so get out your weapon 
and shoot it. Head into the next room. The exit here is in the far left 
corner. Stand near the dead tech and shoot the wall mine there. Climb over the
table and follow the hallway left. Go right where the fire blocks your path.
Follow the only way you can, and you'll reach a sliding door. Go through it 
and use a disposable pick on the locked door on the left wall. The path to the
bomb may seem blocked by fire, but you can climb over the file cabinet in the
middle of the room to get to the bomb. Disarm it to complete the `Disarm the 
bomb` objective and receive a new objective. 

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Restore power to the fire door circuit by accessing the fuse
               box behind the auditorium.

Pick up the sticky shocker to your left. Climb back over the file cabinet to 
the side you entered from and pick up the med kit lying here. Head out through
the door and go left to reach a checkpoint. 

Go through the sliding door and go into the corner in front of you. Turn 
around and you'll see a door opening. Watch this and you'll see a guard 
patrolling. You should have a good enough angle from the corner to shoot him
when he walks past the opening. Pick up the satchel he dropped for SC-20K
ammunition. Head over to the left side and shoot the guard with his back 
turned to you. Go down the stairs and to the far left corner. Go down the 
stairs, and a cutscene will play. Two guards are now coming your way. There 
are many ways of dealing with them. You can retreat back up the stairs and 
throw a grenade at them when they come, but the easiest would be to put two 
sticky shockers in them. Pick up the med kit and use it if they got in a 
couple of shots on you. Head down into the basement. When you reach the first 
light in the roof, turn right. Put your back to the wall, and go through the 
small passage here. When you come out on the other side, you'll see a guard 
who were going to ambush you, but now you are free to shoot him from behind. 
Pick up the ring airfoil round, pistol and SC-20K ammunition and frag grenade
lying on the table. Turn around and choose `Switch object` from the
interaction menu to reach a checkpoint and complete the `Restore power` 
objective. Head back to the auditorium, but stop at the top of the stairs from
the basement. There is a guard where the first guard in the auditorium was, so
shoot him. Pick up the satchel he dropped for two data sticks and a door code.
Fill up on SC-20K ammunition. Go into the room you first entered the 
auditorium from, and open the keypad-locked door (1250) to reach a

Wait for a guard to come walking down the stairs. He'll stop halfway down the
stairs and give you a nice opportunity to shoot him. Go up the stairs and head
for the door at the other side of the room. Use your optic cable to see a 
guard patrolling the hallway up ahead. Open the door right after he turns his 
back against you. Shoot him when he stops further down the hallway. Pick open
the door on the left wall and get the sticky camera and pistol ammunition 
lying in this office. If there is pistol ammunition left, remember it for 
later if you need it. Hide the guard's body in here. Ignore the light switch
and the door on the right wall, as you'll then have to deal with a guard, and 
all you get for it is a disposable pick. Pick open the other locked door on 
the left wall and pick up the ring airfoil round and the sticky shocker inside
the locked room. Turn off the lights before you leave. Head around the corner 
in the hallway, stop when you reach the sliding door, and run back into the 
previously locked room nearest you. Open the door and stand still. Get out 
your weapon and put a sticky shocker into the guard that will soon come over.
Head down the hallway again, and go through the sliding door on the right 
wall. Pick up the med kit and talk to the tech in here. go further down the 
hallway and look left when you hear a man talking. Sneak up on this guard and
knock him out. Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick. Use the 
red-screened computer to complete the `Access the fire emergency system` 
objective. Turn around and enter the newly opened doorway. Open the door here,
and go up the stairs to reach a checkpoint. Approach the door and Lambert will
give you a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Take Ivan's encryption key. Leave Ivan behind for the FBI.

Shoot out the light above the door and the light on the opposite wall to leave
this area in darkness. Open the door and position yourself in the corner under
the `5`. Look left to see a guard. Shoot him when he stands still. Another 
guard will run over to investigate. Wait for him to stand still before you 
shoot him. Head over to the far side of the room and open the door here to 
trigger a cutscene. Enter the door on the right wall. Jump into the vent right
in front of you. Go left until you can barely see the guard threatening Ivan. 
Don't go to close, or Ivan will see you and alert the guard of your presence. 
Shoot the guard and drop out of the vent. Pick up the satchel the guard 
dropped for a data stick. Talk to Ivan to complete the `Find Ivan` objective 
and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Rendezvous with the Osprey for extraction.

Head out of the men's room and go right. Enter the elevator in the room you'll
reach and use it to go up to reach a

Go out of the elevator and look left. Shoot out the light on the wall here.
Go forward into the gap between the crates on the right side. Look left and 
shoot out the light hanging in the distance. Wait for the guard to finish
talking. One of them will come over and notice that the lights are out. You'll
get two chances to shoot him. One when he stops near you, and one when he 
stops near the light on the left side. Use your sniper sight to find the other
guard near some crates in the lighted area. Shoot him and pick up the satchel
the first guard dropped for a data stick. Find the door near the second guard 
and open it. Stand in the doorway and shoot the guard to your left. Climb onto
the building material and get yourself onto the ceiling to the right. Shoot 
out the light in the room beneath you before you drop down. Head through the 
doorway to the left and go towards the door to the right. Stop when you hear 
voices, and a guard will come through the door. Shoot him, and another guard 
will come over to investigate. Shoot him too and pick up the med kit, SC-20K 
and pistol ammunition and the frag grenade lying on some crates here. Remember
the ammunition for later if you're full. Go through the door the guards came 
from to reach a checkpoint.

Shoot out the light above you and go forward into the room. Find the small 
passage on the right wall, put your back to the wall and go through it. Go 
left, towards the doorway, and zoom in on the forklift. Shoot out the guard 
hiding behind it. Look to the right to see a guard hiding behind some crates. 
Wait for him to try to shoot you (he won't hit you unless you go through the 
doorway) and shoot him. You'll see a ladder right next to the guard you just 
shot. Look above it to see the last guard in this area. Go through the doorway
and hide behind the crate. Shoot the guard from here. Climb up the ladder. 
Drop down and find the med kit and the frag grenade lying in this area. Go 
through the doorway and look right to see a door. Go through it to reach a 
checkpoint.

Go through the door in front of you, and quickly hide behind the pillar. There
are three guards in this room who knew you were coming, including one that is 
tossing frag grenades. Look left to see a guard coming. Luckily, he won't hit
you before his third or fourth attempt, so shoot him quickly. None of these 
guards can really shoot, so you should be able to go right, shoot the 
grenade-tossing guard, and then the last guard without taking to many hits.
You've got lots of med kits anyway, so health shouldn't be a problem. Go back 
and fill up on ammunition, before you go up the small set of stairs on the 
left side of the room. Take the left path and drop down into the vent on the 
right wall to reach a

*SAVEPOINT*

Follow the vent, and shoot the guard with his back against you, before you 
drop out. Head towards the door in the far right corner. Use your optic cable
and wait for the guard up ahead to leave. Now, retreat back into the room. 
Wait a while for a guard to enter the room. He'll be standing still, so 
shooting him will be easy. Go out through the door and enter the room to the 
right. Pick up the med kit, pistol and SC-20K ammunition in here. Remember it 
for later if you're full. Continue through the rooms until you get to a 
doorway with a guard near it. Position yourself left of the doorway, so you 
can't be seen. Wait for another guard to come and leave again. Right after 
he's gone, sneak up on the guard with his back turned to you, grab him, drag 
him back into the room you came from and knock him out. Shoot out the light in
the room you're in, hide in the shadows, and shoot the last guard when you get
the chance. Enter the second doorway on the left wall. Shoot out the two 
lights in here, and hide in the shadows near the sinks. Wait for a guard to 
enter the room, and shoot him. Shoot or disable the wall mine on the left 
pillar. Go through the doorway and enter the room under construction to the 
right. Pick up the med kit and SC-20K ammunition in here. Follow the hallway 
and you'll reach a checkpoint.

Go through the doorway on the right wall and go up the stairs. Stay in the 
darkness along the right wall. Shoot the guard patrolling up here, and another
guard will come up to investigate. Quickly shoot him before a third guard 
comes up to investigate. Shoot him too. Drop down and follow the only way you
can until you can see the Osprey (the big, black chopper thing.) Ignore the 
gunshots and explosions, as it isn't directed against you. Look up and right,
and you should see the head of a guard (stand up if you don't see him.) Shoot
him. Drop down and go right. Climb onto the crates to trigger two guards to 
come from where you came from. Drop back down so they won't see you. Wait for 
them to climb up all of the ladders, and shoot them. Climb up all the ladders,
jump onto the roof, climb onto the crate and jump into the Osprey to complete 
your remaining objectives, and the mission.

|MISSION 7: NUCLEAR POWER PLANT|

OBJECTIVES: - Infiltrate the Cooling Rod Room and trigger a meltdown alert.
            - Investigate the Nadezhda communications centre.
            - Tap the Georgian microwave relay.

In this mission you have an alarm limit, so you'll have to start hiding bodies
again.

Move right until you can see a camera below you, in the far right corner. 
Shoot it, and a guard will come up the stairs to investigate. Go back into the
shadows, and shoot him when he stops. Hide the body. Head over to the top of 
the stairs, but don't go down. Instead, start doing double jumps off of the 
right wall. It may be a bit tricky, but you should eventually land on the 
railing. When you do, drop down into the shadows below. Turn around, and 
you'll see a window on the far wall. You'll notice a guard patrolling outside 
the window. When he isn't around, shoot out the upper left glass in the 
window. Shoot the guard the next time he stops near the window. Go over to the
window, slide it open, and climb out. Hide the dead guard's body. Go right, 
and look right when you reach the corner. You'll see a guard in the distance. 
Shoot him and hide the body. Enter the door near the guard, and go as far as 
you can, while still staying in the shadows. Look left, and shoot the 
patrolling guard when he stops in the little room. Turn off the lights in the 
room to hide the body, and pick up the med kit in here. Pick open the locked 
door on the right wall, and go through it to reach a checkpoint.

Head over to the far right corner of this area, and climb over the fence. On
the other side of this fence, you'll find a frag grenade and pistol 
ammunition. Climb back over the fence, and go through the door near the one 
you came from. Pick up the flare lying in this room. Stand in the doorway and
look towards the top of the opposite wall, to see a spotlight. Shoot it out
and ignore the music. Climb up the red pipe to the right of the door. Climb up
the next red pipe. Follow the ledge to the right and climb up another red 
pipe. Follow the ledge to the left and crawl into the vent. Follow the vent, 
and jump and grab onto the left side at the end. Don't pull yourself up yet. 
Wait for a guard to come close, and drop down again. He'll come over to 
investigate, and you can shoot him when he stands near the edge. Climb out of 
the vent and you'll see another guard and a camera. Shoot the guard first, and
then the camera. Hide both of the bodies. Go through the door under the 
camera, and pick up the med kit in front of you, and the frag grenade in the 
far corner. Pick open the locked door, and go through it. Drop down into the 
hole to the left, go through the small vent here, and drop down onto the 
elevator to reach a

*SAVEPOINT*

Wait for the elevator to stop. Drop down on the right side first, and then 
drop down to the bottom to avoid losing life. Head over to the far left 
corner. When the guard here goes over to the right side, stand up and shoot 
him. Shoot out the camera on the left wall. Climb out of the hole, and hide in
the shadows near the pipes in front of you. Shoot out the camera on the far 
wall from here. Now, you see that guy in orange? That's a civilian/tech, and 
you're only allowed to kill one of them during this mission, so you'll have to
knock them out instead. Wait for him to start working on the computer near 
you, run up on him, and knock him out before he can sound an alarm. There is 
another tech behind the sliding door on the right wall. Run in and knock him 
out quickly. Shoot out the light and hide all the bodies in here. Pick up the 
med kit in here before you leave. Head out into the hallway, and find the path
with a camera on the left wall. Shoot out the camera and follow this path. 
Enter the sliding door on the right wall to find a med kit. Go back and drop 
into the hole near the second camera you shot. Follow the right path, and a 
cutscene will play. You'll also receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Retrieve the Cooling Rod Control Room access code from the 
               mercenary technician "Esfir."

Continue following the tunnel, and you'll reach a checkpoint.

When you get out of the tunnel, head right, go up the small set of stairs, and
hide to the right of the sliding door. Grab Esfir when he's nearby, and 
interrogate him to complete the `Retrieve the access code` objective, and 
receive a door code. Go through the sliding door and shoot out the light on 
the left wall. Ignore the other sliding door (there is a med kit there if you
want it, but also a tech.) Shoot out the camera after you're past the sliding
door. Approach the camera and retreat back again. A guard will come over and 
notice the camera. Shoot him when he comes over to investigate it. Quickly 
take his body into the shadows before a tech finds him. Shoot out the camera 
on the far wall down the hallway. Wait for a tech to start working on the 
computer nearby. Run up on him, knock him out and hide the body. Ignore the 
sliding door on the right wall, and take the path on the left side to reach a 
checkpoint.

Use the keypad (560627) to open the locked door. Stand in the opening and 
shoot out the camera on the wall behind you. Turn around and find and shoot 
out the camera over the second computer on the left wall. Go down the stairs 
and pick up the med kit on the way. Find the camera between the third and 
fourth computer, and shoot it out. Take the low, shadowy part, and shoot the 
tech with a ring airfoil to the head when you're close. Pick up the satchel he
dropped for a chemical flare. Hide the body. Pick up the med kit in the far 
right corner, or remember it for later if you're full. Use all four of the 
computers (pick up the chemical flare along the way) to complete the `Trigger 
a meltdown alert` objective. Hide in the darkness near the third computer, and
wait for a guard to enter the room. Shoot him when he stops. Hide the body. 
Go out of this room and go through the newly opened door near the camera to 
reach a 

*SAVEPOINT*

Make your way up the stairs, and on the way you'll receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Retrieve the FlashRAM shipping log for the power plant's 
               waste disposal train.

Continue down the hallway until you get to a vending machine. Throw a flare 
down the hallway to distract the turret up ahead, and run in through the 
doorway on the right wall. Head to the far side of this room, and stay in the
darkness in the next room. You'll see a guard patrolling to your right. He 
only stops briefly, so it might be easiest to shoot him with a sticky shocker.
Run down into the lower part of the room, and grab the tech here (he hasn't 
got any alarms to set off.) Interrogate him, knock him out, and pick up the 
satchel he dropped fro a data stick and a door code, and to complete the 
`Retrieve the shipping log` objective. Hide both of the bodies. Go back up to 
the catwalks and find the vent near the door you entered from. Jump into it, 
and follow it to the end. Drop out and pick up the flare and the med kit lying
in this room. Pick up the SC-20K ammunition lying in the doorway, and go 
through the next door. Run left and turn off the IFF on the turret and let it 
shoot the two guards coming down the hallway. When it's done, turn it off and 
pick up the satchel one of the guards dropped for a med kit. Hide the bodies. 
Follow the only path you haven't taken yet and use the keypad (151822) to open
the locked door. Continue down the only way you can, and you'll reach a 
checkpoint.

Pick up the two chemical flares you'll get to. Turn the corner and throw one 
of them as far into the room as possible to distract the turret. Run over to 
the far side of the room, and disable the turret while it's still concerned 
about the flare. Pick up the med kit on the right wall, and go down the 
hallway near it. Stop when you reach the shadows, and shoot the camera on the
right wall. Pick up the med kit, and go through the door under the camera to 
reach a checkpoint.

Pick up the can near the plant, and use your optic cable on the door. Wait for
a guard to stand in the doorway and go left. Immediately after he goes left,
open the door, pick up the can, and go into the shadows to the right of the 
doorway. Wait for the other guard to be on the far side of the room, and throw
the can somewhere to the left of the doorway. Use a sticky shocker to knock 
out the guard who comes over to investigate when he isn't near the doorway.
Shoot the other guard when he stops somewhere on the far side of the room. 
Pick up the satchel the first guard dropped for a frag grenade. Go through the
doorway to complete the `Investigate the communications centre` objective. 
Hide the bodies, and go through the door on the left side of the room. Sneak 
up on the tech here, grab him, interrogate him and knock him out. Hide the 
body. Use the red-screened computer to complete the `Tap the microwave relay`
objective and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Stow away on the waste train for extraction.

Go back to fill up on SC-20K ammunition and med kits if you need to. When 
you're ready, open the door to the right of the computer to reach a

Go through the door and up the stairs. Wait in the darkness just inside the 
doorway at the top. A guard should eventually come. Shoot him when he stops. 
Hide the body. Go down the hallway and stop before the path to the right. Wait
for the guard there to turn away. Run over to the computer and use it for a 
data stick. Sneak as far right as possible while still in the shadows. Shoot 
the guard when he stops and pick up the med kit he dropped for a med kit. Hide
the body. Go through the door on the right wall to find a room with a med kit.
Follow the hallway to the end, and use the keypad (795021) to open the locked 
door. Go through the door to reach a checkpoint.

Drop down into the hole in front of you and grab onto the red pipe here. Slide
down. When you land, quickly look right and shoot the guard there. Go right a 
bit, and you'll see a guard patrolling below you. Shoot him too. Drop down and
go through the door in the far right corner to complete your remaining 
objective and the mission.

Talk to the woman in front of you if you want. When she's done, climb onto the
dumpster to the left. Jump over the wooden fence, and you'll receive some 
objectives.

NEW OBJECTIVES: - Rendezvous with the agency contact. 
                - Collect intelligence from the Embassy with the laser mic.
                - Any Embassy fatalities will result in mission failure.

Wait for the guard to stop patrolling and stand at the far side of the alley.
Shoot out the light near him on the right wall. Wait for him to go back and 
stand still again. Sneak up on him, (be careful not to step on papers on the 
ground) grab him and knock him out. Hide the body and pick up the satchel he
dropped for a data stick. Climb onto the left dumpster and jump to make a 
noise. The other guard will come over to investigate. Jump onto him and knock 
him out. Hide the body. Head left and go through the broken wall at the end. 
Climb up the ladder in the left corner to reach a checkpoint.

Stay in the shadows on the right side of this room. Go out of the room as far 
right as possible and drop down into the shadows near the dumpsters. Climb 
onto the left one and jump to make a noise. Jump onto the guard that comes 
over to knock him out. Hide the body. Stick to the right wall and head over to
the shadows near the police car when the other guard isn't near it. Stand as 
close to the circle of light as possible while still being in complete 
darkness. Sneak up on the guard and knock him out when he stops near you. Hide
the body. Climb onto the dumpster to the right, further down the alley, and 
jump over the wall. Stand up and run. When you get to the open area, two 
guards will come from the right, so stay left. You're actually in complete 
darkness in the seemingly well-lit area here. Go around the fence on the far 
side and approach the manhole, but stay in the shadows. Watch the guards and 
wait for them not to be completely facing you. Go over to the manhole and 
slide down the ladder there. It doesn't matter if they see you, because at the
bottom, you'll reach a 

*SAVEPOINT*

When in the sewers, the thermal vision really helps to spot guards from a 
distance.

Go down the tunnel and head left. Stop when you see the two guards pass by, 
and wait for them to get away a bit. Go forward and look right. Wait a while
until one guard is standing still under a light. Shoot out the closest light.
Sneak up on the guard (look out for papers on the ground) and knock him out. 
Hide the body. Go further down the tunnel and stop in the doorway. Wait for a
guard to come by. Knock him out when he turns his back to you. Continue down
the tunnel until you get to a dark area. Shoot out the closest light. Find the
ladder near this light and climb up to reach a checkpoint. 

Go to the top, but don't climb out yet. Wait for a guard to come over, and 
climb out when he leaves again. Grab the guard on the right side. Drag him
over to the dark corner and knock him out. Get over to the shadowy part of 
the other guards patrolling route by following him when he goes away from the 
manhole. Sneak up on him and knock him out when he stops at one of the ends. 
Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick, and hide the body. Climb up 
the red ladder directly beneath the large red sign on the wall. Jump and grab 
onto the pipe above you, and hand over hand over to the other side. Drop down,
and climb into the window. Climb up the pipe in this room, and talk to the guy
at the top to complete the `Rendezvous with the contact` objective and receive
a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Follow the truck into the embassy grounds from the warehouse.

Pick up the med kit in front of you and the pistol ammunition on the ground 
under the walkway. Go onto the walkway and find the chimney there. Rappel down
from it to reach a 

*SAVEPOINT*

Shoot out the light on the left wall. Climb onto the nearest dumpster, and 
jump to make a noise. Jump onto the guard that comes over to knock him out.
Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick. Follow the alley until you 
get to a lighted area. Stay in the shadows and shoot out the light in the 
corner opposite you. When the patrolling guard isn't around, head over there
and climb up the ladder. Shoot out the light high on the opposite wall, and 
climb up the ladder on the left wall. Drop down right, and go through the 
doorway. Follow the only way all the way to the end (ignore the first 
doorway.) Go through the second doorway to reach a checkpoint.

Sneak up on the guard, and knock him out when he comes over. Pick up the 
satchel he dropped for a data stick. Shoot out the light here. Climb onto the
crates and look for a zipline above you. Slide down it and drop down to the 
ground. Leave the other guard here for himself. Shoot out the light on the 
right wall, and head around the corner it was on. There's a dumpster here with
pistol ammunition on it. Get it and go back. Find the alley on your right, and
shoot out the two lights hanging there. Head down the alley, and you'll reach
a dumpster. You should know what to do with the guard up ahead by now. Pick up
the satchel he dropped for a data stick. Follow the alley to the end, and 
climb onto the dumpster there. Do a double jump to reach a

You've got kind of a time limit now. If the truck drives into the embassy and
the gates closes before you're in, you fail. Lambert will give you a new 
objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: Any alarm sounded will result in mission failure.

Get out of the alley and follow the right wall all the way around. Stay in the
shadows and go through the gates. Hide in the left corner and wait for the 
truck to drive away to complete the `Follow the truck` objective. Sneak into 
the guardhouse, and knock out the guard there. Don't grab him, as the other 
guard might see you. Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick, and hide
the body. Use a sticky shocker to knock out the other guard. Hide the body. Go
over to the truck, and shoot the patrolling guard there with a sticky shocker.
Hide the body. Follow the road until you reach a checkpoint. 

Get out your laser mic, and go a bit forward to trigger a cutscene. Aim the 
window towards the left window at the second floor. The square will turn red 
when you are aiming towards the right area. When it turns green again, you'll
have completed the `Collect intelligence` objective, and receive two new 
objectives.

NEW OBJECTIVES: - Trail Kong Feirong to his car and laser mic it to intercept
                his conversation. 
                - Do not get seen or raise enemy suspicion at all until the 
                conversation has been caught.

Wait for Feirong to get to his car. Laser mic it when it stops near the gates.
When the conversation is finished, you'll have completed all your current 
objectives, and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Rendezvous with Coen for transportation to Mouke Tsoe Bo 
               Meats.

You are now allowed to kill people, and set off alarms again. Shoot out the 
camera left of the gates. Shoot the guard nearby, when he stands still near 
the doors. Shoot the last guard whenever he stands still. Don't care about the
bodies. Find the place on the far wall where the barbed-wire is broken, and 
climb up the pole there. Drop down and talk to Coen to complete the last 
objective and the mission.

OBJECTIVES: - Access the antenna on the abattoir roof and destroy it's 
            broadcast ability.

Shoot the guard nearby when he steps into the shadows. Hide the body. Climb 
over the fence, and onto the grey thing on the other side. Jump on the black 
part to make a guard come over. Jump onto him and knock him out. Hide the 
body. Head over to the far side of this area, and pick up the med kit left of
the door. Go through the door to reach a checkpoint.

Go through the other door to hear a guard speaking. He is talking about the 
area you're in, and that the mines here can be detected using thermal vision.
Shoot the guard to the right. Turn on thermal vision and make your way about
halfway through the mine-field. Shoot the guard near the spotlight. Go through
the last part of the mine-field, and head right. Pick up the med kit and 
SC-20K ammunition lying on the ground. Climb onto the dumpster with papers on
it, and do a double jump to get into the hole above you. Here, you'll reach a 
checkpoint.

Get out of the tunnel to find yourself on a roof. If you walk over the roof or
skylights, two guards will come out to kill you, and you don't want that to 
happen, do you? Go left and onto the vent. Follow this, and you'll reach a 
fence. Jump to grab onto a ledge, and shimmy left. Drop down at the end, and
grab onto the pipe above you. Hand over hand to the end, and drop down. Go 
left, and climb over the fence. Interact with the antenna to trigger a 
cutscene. You'll also complete the `Access the antenna` objective, and receive
a new objective. 

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Locate the captured American soldiers and Chinese 
               dignitaries.

A guard will come looking for you, so hide in the shadows behind the antenna, 
and shoot him when he stops. Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick 
and a door code. Hide the body. Pick open the locked door he came from, and go
down the stairs. Go back under the stairs and disable the wall mine on the 
left wall. Pick up the med kit, two wall mines, two frag grenades, pistol and
SC-20K ammunition, sticky shocker and flare. Go back up the stairs and use the
keypad (770215) to open the locked door. Go through it to reach a

Go down the stairs and through the door on the left wall. There is a guard 
below you, and another one behind the half wall. Climb over the barrels, and 
run over to the corner. The guard below you will become suspicious and start
investigating. Wait for him to go behind the half wall. If he doesn't go over
there the first time, make noises until he do. Lob a frag grenade so that it 
lands between the stalls and the wall. The two guards will run towards it and
get killed. Drop down and pick up the med kit lying on the table. Shoot out 
the light in the hallway, and hide the bodies there. Head down the hallway, 
and go through the door on the right wall. Slowly sneak up on the guard here.
Grab him, interrogate him, and knock him out. Shoot out the lights in the room
to hide the body. Pick up the SC-20K ammunition lying besides the computer. Go
out of the room, and drop into the vent to your left. Follow this a bit to 
receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Stop the Georgian executioners from reaching the captured 
               U.S. soldiers.

Climb up the pole at the end of the vent, and drop right. Go over to the hole 
in the floor, and look down to see two guards. Shoot one of them in the head 
with a ring airfoil, and quickly shoot the other guard (not with airfoil) 
before he revives the first one. Drop down, and pick up the satchels they 
dropped for a frag grenade and a med kit. Shoot out a couple of lights to hide
the bodies. Go through the doorway with all the steam to reach a checkpoint.

Use thermal vision to spot guards in the rooms with steam.

Stay in the dark hallway, and shoot the guard when he stops in front of you.
Hide the body in the hallway. Head into the next room, and go to the left side
once you're in. Climb over the machines here until you reach a turret. Turn of
the IFF, and let it deal with the patrolling guard before you deactivate it. 
Head into the next, empty room. Shoot the guard patrolling in the next room. 
Another guard will run over to investigate. Shoot him too. Find the pipe that
goes into the next room, and grab onto it. Pull up your legs, and follow it to
the end. Drop down, and go back to deactivate the turret. Climb onto the 
machine, and you should be able to see a tiny bit of the guard's head. Shoot 
him. Pick up the med kit lying on a table to the left. Go into the next room 
to reach a checkpoint.

Go left and shoot the patrolling guard there. Knock out the guard standing in
the doorway. Shoot the other guard that comes over before he can revive the 
knocked-out guard. Another way to get through this room is to do a double jump
off of the left wall outside the doorway, to grab onto the pipe above you. 
Pull up your legs, follow it to the end, and drop down. Drop into the vent in 
the floor, follow it, and climb out at the end. Pick up the med kit along the 
right wall, and shoot out the light. Go down the stairs, and shoot the 
patrolling guard. Use the switch on the right wall to open the gate. Go 
through it to reach a

Quickly go over to the far side and shoot out the light on the ground to the
right. A guard will notice it and come over. Shoot him. Pick up the satchel he
dropped for a data stick, and hide the body. Pick up the SC-20K ammunition 
lying on the shelf. Go through the doorway and head left. Pick up the flare on
the boxes, and go through the doorway to the right. Shoot out the light here
and pick up some more SC-20K ammunition. Go around the corner and head left. 
Do not shoot out the light on the ground! Climb onto the walkway along the 
left wall. Get out your PISTOL and shoot out the light on the wall. The two 
guards should not notice it. Go forward, and a cobweb'll block you. Shoot it 
with your pistol (do not shoot towards the floor! Aim at the wall in front of
you) to get past it. Quickly go forward and hide in the dark corner. A guard
will approach the turret to investigate that area. When he goes away, drop
down, turn of the IFF on the turret and climb back up. The turret Should deal
with the two guards. Deactivate it, and pick up the satchel one of the guards
dropped for a data stick. Hide the bodies. Head further down the stables, and
you'll reach another turret. Throw a flare to distract it and run past it.
Continue down the only path to reach a checkpoint.

Pick up the med kit and go through the piece of clothing hanging in the 
doorway. Use your night-vision to see a half-circle hole in the wall slightly
to the left. Approach the other piece of clothing and barely touch it. This
will trigger two guards to come from the other side. Run back and hide in the 
hole in the wall. Shoot a diversion camera to the left of the doorway you came
from, and start making noises. Keep making noises until the two guards line 
up, and you can gas them both at the same time. Hide the bodies. Follow the 
only way forward to reach a checkpoint.

You'll get to two doorways on the right wall. You'll have a major gunfight 
here later, so let's set up some traps to tilt the odds in our favour. First
of all, set up a couple of wall mines on the doorways, and the third somewhere
inside the room. Go down the middle of the room to find two turrets. Turn off 
the IFF on both of them. Pick up the SC-20K ammunition lying between them. 
Throw a flare in front of the right one and run down the path there. Pick up 
the med kit and frag grenades there. Walk over to the Chinese dignitaries to 
complete the `Locate the soldiers` and `Stop the executioners` objectives, 
reach a checkpoint, and receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Protect the U.S. soldiers and Chinese dignitaries.

A cutscene will play, and the wall mines should take out the first wave of 
attackers. You'll receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Kill Grinko.

You'll have to get past the turret again. Stick to the left wall and run past 
it. Use med kits immediately if you got hit. A guard will come over and run
down the right path. Shoot him with a sticky shocker, if the turret doesn't do
the job. Go towards the doorways. Grinko should be running around there 
somewhere. Shoot him, throw a grenade at him, use a sticky shocker on him or 
whatever. Once you kill him/knock him out, you'll complete the remaining 
objectives and the mission.

|MISION 10: CHINESE EMBASSY II|

OBJECTIVES: - Infiltrate the Embassy via the upper floor. 
            - Access Feirong's communication archives from the Embassy's 
            server in the basement.
            - Killing Kong Feirong will result in Mission Failure.

Go through the front door of the restaurant on the left wall. Equip a frag
grenade and follow the right wall until you can see two guards to the left. 
Throw a grenade towards them to kill them. There is a chef in the kitchen, who
you should knock out. He hasn't got any alarms so don't worry about being 
stealthy. Pick up the satchel one of the guards dropped for a data stick. Turn
off the lights in the kitchen and hide the bodies there. Go to the toilets 
(close to the kitchen door) to find a med kit and some pistol ammunition. Go
back into the kitchen and climb up the ladder in the left corner. Climb up the
next ladder and walk over the planks to reach a checkpoint.

Walk into the door to open it, but stay in the doorway. A guard will come 
over. Shoot him when he stops to the right of you. Pick up the satchel he
dropped for pistol ammunition and a data stick. Hide the body. Make your way
through this house, and you'll end up on a balcony. Climb up the pipe there to
grab onto a zipline. You'll slide down and land on a ledge. You're not allowed
to drop down into the Embassy grounds, so shimmy around the ledge all the way
to the end. Drop down and climb up the pipe. Open the trap and drop down to 
complete the `Infiltrate the Embassy` objective. Shoot out the light above you
and head around the corner. Stick to the left wall and slowly sneak forward, 
until you can shoot the sitting guard to the right. Hide the body and go 
through the doorway near the fire extinguisher. Pick up the med kit to the 
left. Go through the hole in the wall and put your back to the right wall. Go
right, and you'll reach a checkpoint.

Grab onto the pipe at the end and slide down. Put your back to the right wall
and go forward. Ignore the music, nobody is shooting at you. If you use too
much time here, the guards will destroy the computer you need to use. Step 
away from the wall as soon as you can, and shoot the guard to the left. Stand
still until the other guard forgets about you and goes over to check on his
buddy. Shoot him too. Pick up the satchel one of them dropped for a data 
stick. Hide the bodies in the dark corner. Go through the door on the far wall
and use the red-screened computer to complete the `Access the communications
archives` objective. Open the door in here to reach a

When you start again you'll receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Detonate their gas tanks to destroy the trucks carrying
               Feirong's nuclear weapons.

Go through the first door to the left to find a room with a med kit. Go 
through the other door and up the stairs. Stop near the top and shoot out the
light above the door. Wait for the guard(s) to finish investigating before 
going up the last bit of the stairs. Move right and shoot out the camera on 
the left wall. Again, wait for the guards to stop investigating. Wait until
the other guard is at the far side of the room, sneak up on and grab the guard
standing in the doorway. Drag him back towards the stairs and knock him out. 
Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick. Shoot the other guard once
you get the chance. Hide the bodies. Go through the door in the corner and be
very quiet. Make sure not to step on the papers on the floor. Head towards the
doorway to reach a checkpoint.

In the next room there are two sleeping guards, and broken glass all over the 
floor. You'll have to walk VERY slowly here not to wake up the guards. 
Actually, you shouldn't walk at all. Just push the analog stick so gently that
you go forward without really taking a step. If you're good at this you could
also pick up the med kit, pistol ammunition and frag grenade lying besides the
beds.

An alternate method for those who are having problems sneaking through the 
room:
Sneak into the room and head left. Stand right next to the grey lockers here.
This is where you should stand until the two guards are knocked out. Shoot out
the unlit light in the roof WITH YOUR PISTOL. The guards will wake up and 
start to investigate. If you're standing in the right spot, the guards 
shouldn't bump into you. They'll eventually go back to bed again. Shoot a 
diversion camera to the left of the doorway. Make a noise to wake up the 
guards again. Keep making noises until you can gas them both at the same time
(which may take a while.) Hide the bodies and pick up the items.

Use your optic cable on the door in the next room. You'll see two guards 
walking by. When they're gone, Grim will tell you that you need to use your 
thermal vision to get past the keypad-locked door. Turn on the thermal vision
before selecting `Use keypad` from the interaction menu. You'll need to press
the number that is lightest first and work your way to the darkest. The code 
for this door is 1435. Open the door, and you'll notice a turret. You can 
sneak around the door without being shot at by it. Sneak up on the guard and
knock him out. Pick up the satchel he dropped for a data stick. Hide the body
and deactivate the turret. Jump onto the wooden construction and jump up where
there is a hole in the railing. Turn off the IFF on the turret here, and let 
it deal with the guard that comes over. Deactivate the turret and hide the 
body. Go through the door on the left wall and pick up the med kit in there.
Go back and find the vertical beam near the second turret. Jump and grab onto 
it. Pull your legs up and start heading towards the other side. Stop when you
hear two guards coming. Wait for one of them to leave. You'll need the colonel
that says behind alive, so you can use the retinal scanner. Go forward until 
you reach the big star in the Chinese flag. Hang around here until the colonel
sees you. He'll go down to investigate so you can go over to the other side 
and drop down. Hide in the dark corner and wait for him to get back again. 
Shoot him with a ring airfoil, run up on him and grab him. Force him to use 
the retinal scanner, and knock him out. Shoot out the light in the next room
and hide the body there. Shoot the patrolling guard and hide the body. Use the
computer for a data stick. Slide open the window and drop out to reach a

Go over to the rocks right in front of you and hide in the shadows there. 
Shoot the patrolling guard. Move close to the circle doorway and back up a 
bit. A dog should come. Even if you're in complete darkness, dogs can still
smell you, so you should try to take them out as soon as possible. Just shoot
this one with a sticky shocker. Head through the doorway and shoot the guard 
patrolling to the left. He won't see you even if you are in the lighted area.
Hide the bodies. Head over to the far right corner and find the door there. Go
through it and the next door. Shoot the guard and then the camera. Hide the 
body. Go through the door under the camera to reach a checkpoint.

Pick up the med kit on the wall near the lockers. Go through the door. Stick 
to the left side of the room and make your way through the shelves there to 
get to the other side. Use the thermal vision trick to open the keypad-locked
door (9753.) Go into the next room to reach a checkpoint.

Shoot out the light in the roof. Pick up the med kit, pistol ammunition and 
SC-20K ammunition in here. Stand behind the guard in the doorway, and wait for
the patrolling guard in the next room to be walking away from you. Grab the 
guard and drag him back into the dark room. Knock him out and hide the body in
the med kit corner. Go back to the doorway and wait for the guard to walk 
away. Lean out and shoot the camera to the right. Head back to the med kit 
corner. Eventually, a guard will enter this room. Shoot him with a sticky 
shocker. Shoot the stationary guard in the next room. Hide the bodies. Enter
the next room and go right. Look left, through the holes in the shelves to see
a camera. Shoot it. Jump onto the boxes near the camera to get to the catwalk
above. Follow the catwalk for a bit to trigger a cutscene. Run to the end of
the catwalk. Look right, and shoot the gas pump in between the two trailers to
complete the `Detonate their gas tanks` objective. You'll also receive two new
objectives.

NEW OBJECTIVES: - Access Feirong's computer to transmit the data back to Fort
                Meade.
                - Feirong's death before the computer has been unlocked will
                result in Mission Failure.

Go back to pick up more ammunition. Go down the stairs at the end of the 
catwalk. Open the trap to the left and climb down to reach a

Shoot the guard patrolling in front of you. Hide the body. Go forward and stop
in the shadows after the second light bulb. A colonel will come, get a message
over the radio, and leave again. Don't shoot him, as you need to get a door 
code for a keypad-locked door from him. Give him some time to leave before you
proceed down the hallway. Pick up the med kit on the way. Use the thermal 
vision trick on the keypad (1456) to open the locked door. Go into the 
elevator and use it to go up. Go down the hall and use the keypad (1834) to 
open the door. Go right and open the keypad-locked door there (7921.) Go 
through it to reach a checkpoint.

Equip a ring airfoil. Head around the corner and through the doorway to
trigger a cutscene. Shoot Feirong with a ring airfoil (not to the head,) run
up to him and grab him. Interrogate him until he starts repeating himself.
Force him to use his computer to complete most of your remaining objectives. 
You'll receive a new objective. 

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Meet Coen for Osprey extraction at the helicopter pad by the
               garden.

Shoot out the light in the roof to hide the bodies. Leave through the double
doors to the left. Go through the next door. Walk straight through the flames 
in the middle of the room, as they don't hurt you. Stop after you've gone 
through the doorway in the right corner. Wait for an explosion before you 
continue. Go down the stairs and out the window. Go to the helicopter pad to
complete your remaining objectives and the mission.

OBJECTIVE: - Recover the Ark Interrogation File, the record of an 
           interrogation conducted by Georgian agents representing current 
           Georgian President Cristavi. The file details an interrogation of
           one of Nikoladze's high-ranking mercenaries, possibly revealing the
           identity of "The Ark."

Shoot out the spotlight and then the patrolling guard. Hide the body. Find the
little chimney on the left side and rappel down from it. You'll end up in a 
tunnel which is infested with laser-beams. Walking through any of them will
result in mission failure. Use the thermal vision to see them. The first set 
of lasers is quite easy to get by. Just time your movement and run past them
when they're not lit. The next set of lasers can be evaded by grabbing onto 
the pipe above you. Pull up your legs and go past them. Drop down and go 
forward. Grab onto another pipe, pull your legs up and go past the low laser.
Drop down before the next and go under it. Time your movement to get past the
next beam, but stop once you're past it. There's a wall mine here that you'll
have to slowly sneak up on and disable. Climb up the ladder at the end of the
tunnel to reach a checkpoint. 

Approach the stairs and retreat back to the dark corner. A dog will eventually
come over. I suggest shooting him with a sticky shocker. If you're good, you
could try to shoot it in the head. Shoot the following guard. Pick up the 
satchel he dropped for a data stick and a door code. Hide the body. Head into
the hedge maze. You'll get to a armoured camera. Shoot out the light near it 
to get past it. Head further into the maze to reach a similar camera. Shoot 
out the light near it and use your camera jammer on it to get safely into the
fountain area. There is another armored camera on the far wall here, but 
staying near the right wall plus timing your movements a bit should get you to
the locked gate near it. Use the keypad (2126) to open it. Go through the gate
and head towards the door in the left corner. Slide open the panel near it to
reach a

Pick up the disposable pick at the bottom floor before heading up the stairs.
Pick up the med kit at the top and exit through the door. Go along the left 
wall (there are lasers on the right side) until you're in the far right 
corner. Two guards will enter the room. Wait until one of them is at your 
side, while the other is at the other side of the room. Shoot the guard near
you and hide the body if you have to. Shoot the other guard when you get the 
chance. Hide the body. Go through the door they came from (make sure not to go
through the lasers.) Stay behind the door when it opens, as there is a guard
looking your way in this room. While covered by the door, go into the dark 
corner left of it. Shoot the guard when the door closes. Pick up the satchel
he dropped for a med kit and hide the body in the previous room. Jump onto the
little shelf-like thing near where the guard was. Jump and grab onto the ledge
above you. Shimmy left until you're past the first laser on the stairwell. 
Drop down and go up a bit. Climb over the railing before the second laser. Go
through the door and pick open the door in front of you. Enter the room and 
pick up the disposable pick and med kit in there. Go further down the hall to
reach a checkpoint.

Open the door and be very quick to shoot the guard in front of you. Another 
guard will run over to investigate. Shoot him too. Pick up the satchel one of
them dropped for a data stick and a door code. Hide the bodies. Head upstairs
and use the keypad (700021) to open the locked door. Go through it to reach a
checkpoint.

Shoot out the light, and start jumping around near the door. A guard should 
hear you and come over to investigate. Shoot him. Shoot out the lights above 
the stairs and head towards them. Shoot out the light you'll get to, and wait 
for a guard to come over. Shoot him and pick up the satchel he dropped for a
data stick. Go down the stairs to find a med kit. Go further down the room, 
shooting out lights as you go. A guard will become suspicious when you shoot
out the last red light. Shoot him and pick up the satchel he dropped for a med
kit. Shoot out the last two lights and go down the path the guard came from. 
Pick open the locked door and go through it to reach a checkpoint.

The lasers are back. Time your movement to get past the first set. For the 
next set, you'll have to time your movement and jump over the low beam. Head 
around the bookshelves and sneak up on the guard. Knock him out and pick up 
the satchel he dropped for a data stick. Hide the body. Use the red-screened
computer in this room to complete the `Recover the Ark Interrogation File`
objective and receive three new objectives.

NEW OBJECTIVES: - Use Nikoladze's retina to unlock the safe inside the vault 
                in the library.
                - Retrieve the Ark from the safe inside a vault in the 
                library.
                - The death of Nikoladze before retrieval of the Ark will 
                result in Mission Failure.

Go through the door in the corner to find yourself in a room with a med kit.
Backtrack to the room with all the guards and lights. Open the double doors to
make a guard suspicious. Back up and use your optic cable on the door. Wait
until the guard is at the other side of the room. Open the door and shoot out 
the light in front of you. Step back and let the door close. Wait until the 
guard is finished investigating. Do the same once more, but this time enter 
the room when he's at the other side. Sneak up on him, grab him, and drag him
into the shadows and knock him out. Shoot out the other light in this room and
sneak along the left wall to get past the camera. Open the door there to reach
a

Head over to the far side of the room and open the door there. Shoot out the 
light straight in front of you. Shoot the patrolling guard. Pick up the 
satchel he dropped for some SC-20K ammunition. Head right and shoot out the
light behind the pillar. Sneak up on the tech in the next room and knock him
out. Go right, down the stairs and stop at the bottom. Shoot out the two 
lights at the other side of the library. Sneak towards the library and run 
back when you hear a radio message. Wait for a guard to position himself on 
the staircase at the other side of the room. Shoot him. Wait until the other 
guards are done running around. Run into the right side of the library and 
take cover at the far end of the bookshelf there. Use a med kit if you've been
hit. Slowly lean out at the right side until you can see a bit of the guard
behind the elevator's head. Shoot him. The last guard is directly above you. 
Walk under the walkway above and hide behind the bookshelf near the staircase.
Go over to the right side of it and shoot the final guard. Pick up the
satchels they dropped for a frag grenade and a med kit. Hide the bodies. Go
down one of the paths near the staircase, and you'll eventually get to a 
checkpoint.

Run up to Nikoladze and grab him. Interrogate him until he's done talking. 
Drag him over to the retinal safe and force him to use it. This will trigger a
cutscene and complete two of your three remaining objectives. When you're in
control again, don't move! Turn the camera so you're looking directly at the
guard near you. When he gets down to two, get your weapon out and shoot him
quickly. Go left and hide behind the big boxes here. Two other guards will 
come, but they're dumb, and won't shoot at you. Shoot them instead. Pick up 
the satchels they dropped for a data stick and a med kit. Head back up to the
library, shooting out lights as you go. On the way there you'll receive a new
objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Kill Kombayn Nikoladze.

You'll also complete the `The death of Nikoladze...` objective. Take the path 
that leads you to the left side of the library. There's a new guard in here. 
He is hiding behind the bookshelf to the right at the far side of the room. 
Use your binoculars and thermal vision to see him. It is difficult, but 
possible to shoot him in the head. Try to do so. If you miss, turn the SC-20K
into a machine gun (L3 while aiming) and just put lots of bullets into him.
Open the double doors at the left wall to reach a 

*SAVEPOINT*

Shoot the guard patrolling to the right. Then shoot the guard patrolling on 
the walkway to the left. Climb up the pipe to get to the walkway where the 
guard was. Hide the body. Pick open the locked door up here. Watch the 
cutscene and snipe Nikoladze through the window you just saw to complete the
`Kill Nikoladze` objective. You'll also receive a new objective.

NEW OBJECTIVE: - Rendezvous with the Osprey for extraction.

Quickly run over to the far side of the room and hide in the shadows there. 
Shoot the guard that enters. Hide the body. Pick up the pistol and SC-20K
ammunition lying in the window. Go through the door the guard came from to 
reach a checkpoint.

Follow the only way forward until you reach a staircase. Stop and look back. A
guard will come. You'll have to shoot him in the head while he is walking. If
you miss, just get yourself killed to return to the previous checkpoint. Now,
for the last two guards in the game. Just shoot one and then the other when he
runs over to investigate. When both of them are dead, head into the dining 
hall and go towards the far end to complete your remaining objective, the 
mission and the game.
