3F. My Suggestions

In order of rank:

1. Republic Gunship
Reason: On Geonosis, you can get 140 kills without dying.

2. AT-TE
Reason: The AT-TE cannot get tripped and its firepower is amazing.

3. Spider Droid
Reason: Its rockets are pretty good, and its laser beam is very
powerful.

4. AT-AT
Reason: The AT-AT can get tripped and it's slow.

5. Sniping
~----------------------------------------------------------------~

"One shot, one kill" is the sniper's motto. In Star Wars Battlefront,
the sniper must be swift, silent, and deadly. Here are the 10 rules
that ensure your survival on the battlefield and how to rack up those
kills.

-1. Location: In order to kill, you must find a suitable position
to eliminate targets. Not all areas are ideal for a proficient
sniper. The Rebel Alliance cameo almost always match their
surroundings. Choose a place with cover (i.e. grass, boulder,
structure) that overlooks a chokepoint. Favorable points would be
command centers or bridges. Camp a high location that overlooks the
main battlefield with a difficult approach from behind.

-2. Defend: To make sure that you don't get caught off guard, try to
have a friend be a soldier and become your "spotter". If things get
out of control, you can count on your friend to eliminate any close-
quarter threat. Another good idea is to have a heavy trooper (Vanguard,
Arc Trooper etc.) plant several mines at a distance behind you to
prevent someone sneaking up on you.

-3. Patience: Take your time to approach the target, preferably from
side or back, and stake out the location before taking anyone out. If
you get caught, try again, but with more caution to avoid anymore
encounters.

-4. Marksmanship: Eliminate with one shot, never two. This may prove
difficult when your target is moving. A good idea is to play the 1st
Bespin level which requires excellent marksmanship due to the enormous
environment. Practice against bots to perfect your aim. Headshots are
essential to the one hit one kill rule. A sniper will often find himself/
herself in a tight situation when three enemy soldiers rush towards them.
Keep your cool and throw a grenade or take each out with a
headshot.

-5. Re-locate: To keep players guessing, relocate to a different spot.
Use crouch or prone to get to a different area so you do not expose
yourself. Timing is crucial in order to stay alive. Try to move out
when there is general mayhem around you. Also, watch your step when
leaving, as many players love to leave mines on the battlefield.

-6. Recon Droid: One of the most crucial elements for a sniper in
the game. Only snipers get this piece of equipment. Select it and
you assume control of it. One piece of advice: hide your actual
soldier body before using the droid, because you can't control the
body once you get the droid. Your droid is dual purpose: scout and
call in air strikes. Your primary fire is virtually useless, as they
do little damage. Take your time to maneuver them into an open command
center and hit secondary fire. Wait four seconds and an orbital strike
will commence its attack. Note: The orbital strikes the location of the
droid, not its crosshairs.

-7. Support: As a sniper, you always need help at one point or another.
Problems could be ammo, health or armored vehicles. It's very handy
to have a pilot around at all times. He/she can give you ammo and
health when you need it most. Another way to counter this problem is
to choose a high location by a command center. There will be vendors
here that automatically dispense ammo and health for your survival.
As for armored vehicles, call in an artillery strike with your Recon
Droid.

-8. Chokepoints: When camping an area, take notice of the general
area in front of you. A good location would allow you to see a
chokepoint and most of the general battlefield. A chokepoint is an
area which many troops clutter due to a small opening. These could
be caves, bridges, or river crossings. Use this to your advantage
to take out as many units as possible. It is also a good idea to
eliminate in order of threat level. A rival marksman is probably
one of the highest threats to you. Then would probably be the
soldier, special unit (i.e. Smuggler, jet Trooper etc), pilot then
demolitions (Missile Launchers). Also, watch your fire as your buddies
will also attempt to engage these hostiles. Your job is to disrupt the
infantry and allow your team members to clear up what's left of your
handy work.

-9. Gunner positions: When enemy units jump into a vehicle or
stationary turret, their torso is often exposed. Use this to your
advantage to take them out with easy headshots. If teammates are
attempting to capture a command point, and are pinned down by fire
from a turret, try to take out the gunner to give your mates some
breathing room. Same for the vehicles. When several demolition
players are trying to take out a speeder, the gunner can be easily
picked off, and your team mates will have an easier time taking out
the vehicle.

-10. Elevation: Use the terrain to your advantage. When you are on a
higher area, you are less exposed, and you get a better view of the
battlefield. In Endor, it is a good idea to hang by the Ewok villages
and snipe from the platforms. With the mayhem on the ground, take your
time to pick off camping infantries. Also, watch other elevated areas
for your next re-location and to see where other enemy snipers are
headed.

6. Command Posts
~----------------------------------------------------------------~

In Battlefront, you really only have two objectives. One: kill until
your enemys reinforcement meter is gone. The meter is the counter
that is at the top of your screen. The second one is to command every
command post.

Basically, on your map, you'll see some circles. White means that it
is an uncontrolled base, yellow means they are the natives' units
(e.g. Gungans on Naboo) base, red means they are the enemys, and
green represents your bases. When you die, you can respawn from any
green base. The more command posts a side gets, the more points get
taken away from the enemys meter. Usually when you kill someone,
1 point gets taken away. If you have most of the command posts it
takes away points automatically from the other team. If your team
can control all of the command posts, a victory timer will countdown.
If time ends and you haven't taken over at least one command post,
the other team automatically wins. If youre in a vehicle, you cannot
turn a command post to your side. Some command posts such as Hoths
Shield Generator are Destructible Command Posts and cannot be taken over,
but can only be destroyed. These will show up as a square with a dot in
them. There are also mobile command posts that are vehicles. Look on your
maps for an AT-AT looking icon on Hoth as an example. You can spawn from
it wherever it is if its your teams. This can be destroyed, too, but
will regenerate after a certain amount of time. You should always go for
the "destroyable only" command posts because the enemy gradually loses
units if they don't have them.

7A-Historical Campaign (*)=Suggested Strategy

Difficulty: Scale of * - * * * * *

The Historical Campaign allows you to experience battles from either
the Clone Wars of the Galactic Civil War. You begin by choosing
which era, and then work your way through missions in chronological
order. This mode also unlocks bonus items as you progress through it.

a. Naboo-Plains: The Battle of Naboo
Difficulty: *
Default Faction: CIS
Command Posts: The Redoubt, The Command The Center The Pillars, The
Heads

-Destroy the Mobile Shield Generators by eliminating all the Fambaas.
-Wipe out the entire Gungan Grand Army.

First, choose the Battle Droid and spawn at the Command. Hop into an
AAT, go to The Center (uncontrolled base) and capture it. Then,
go directly to the shield. There will be 2 mobile Shield Generators
called Fambaas. Go into the shield and shoot the first Fambaa until
it dies. After you kill it, the shield will be lifted. Stay in your
vehicle and kill every Gungan you see. You might need to get some of
your allies to get in, but don't worry about the command posts. Just
keep killing. If you die, respawn at The Center and kill everyone.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

b. Naboo-Theed: Rebellion on Theed
Difficulty: *
Default Faction: CIS
Command Posts: The Office, The Palace, The Guard, The Embassy, The
Rotunda, The Plaza

-Hold the city at all costs.
-Use the AATs to your advantage.

Spawn as a Battle Droid and spawn at The Embassy. Go up to the closest
enemy command post, The Guard. Don't go all the way to the command post,
because many Royal Guards spawn there. Wait 10 seconds then go to the
base and kill the remaining Royal Guards. There will be a huge battle
going on close to the Guard. Go into the battle and kill As many people
as you can. If you don't succeed (you rarely will), respawn at the Guard
as a Droid Sniper and go up the ramp to your right. This balcony is a
perfect place to snipe the remaining guards. When you kill everyone
there, go down again and capture the Palace.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

c. Kashyyyk-Islands: Aggressive Negotiations
Difficulty: * 1\2
Default Faction: CIS
Command Posts: West Harbor, East Harbor, North Village, Village Center,
South Village, Landing Zone

-Destroy the Wookiee trade settlement on Kashyyyk.
-Our new Super Battle Droids are now available.
-Count Dooku will assist you.

Spawn as a Droideka and roll down to the closest base, the North
Village, and capture it. There will be a big battle (just like the
one on Naboo) where the Village Center is. Go right by the base,
turn on your shield, and destroy every Wookiee you see. Their Bowcasters
and Grenade Launchers can't do squat to your shield. Just stay there
until the command post is captured. Then, head into the building where
the South Village command center is and kill the remaining Wookiees
while capturing the last base.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

d. Geonosis-Spire: The Battle of Geonosis
Difficulty: * * * *
Default Faction: Republic
Command Posts: Techno Union Ships 1, 2, 3, Spire, West Bunker, East
Bunker, Derelict, Assembly Area, AT-TEs

-Destroy the Techno Union Ships to prevent the separatists from escaping.
-Master Windu will aid you in this battle.

1-Spawn as a Clone Trooper at the AT-TE. Defend the AT-TE by shooting the
ground units around the AT-TE. When the AT-TE goes near one of the bunkers
(East or West), go up the rock ramp and capture the command post. Another
very good tip is to take one of the Spider Droids from the CIS and destroy
the Hailfire Droids. This vehicle is also very good at destroying ground
units and tanks. After you control the East and West Bunkers, just keep
killing until the droids are no more.

2-Spawn as a Clone Pilot, at the Derelict, drive the AT-TE to the Techno
Union Ships and, destroy them and other ground units by them.

*3-Spawn as a Clone Pilot at the Derelict, get in a Republic Gunship, and
destroy everything in your path. Make sure to destroy the Spider Droids
before anyone is in them. You can get up the 140 kills with no deaths.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

e. Kamino-Tipoca City: The Assault on Kamino
Difficulty: * *
Default Faction: Republic
Command Posts: Cloning Center, Beta 2, Beta 1, Beta 3, Alpha 1, Alpha 2,
Alpha 3

-Defend the cloning facility at all costs.
-Make good use of our new Jet Trooper unit.

Spawn as a Clone Sharpshooter at the Cloning Center and head toward
Alpha 2 (closest base to right) and capture it. Since it is very
likely that the CIS has already captured Alpha 3 closest base to
Alpha 2), so head into their command post and kill as many droids as
possible. If you die, then respawn at Alpha 2 and shoot from a distance
where it is very hard to hit you. After all the droids are dead, capture
the base and head for Alpha 1. This will be one of the biggest battles
on Kamino, so be ready. This is a good place to launch Thermal
Detonators. After you kill everyone there, capture it. After you've
captured Alpha 1, head to Beta 2 and capture it. Finally, kill the
remaining droids to win the battle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

f. Rhen Var-Harbor: Mountaintop Defenses
Difficulty: * * * *
Default Faction: Republic
Command Posts: Western LZ, Ice Caves, Lighthouse, Citadel, Fortress,
AT-TE

-Capture all command posts in the area.
-Use the Ice Caves to flank the enemy.

1-Spawn as a Clone Pilot at the AT-TE. Get 2 people to get inside
the AT-TE, then get in as well. Go straight for the Lighthouse
(uncontrolled base) and capture it. Then, go towards the center battle
field and destroy the. Go directly to the cave and destroy the droids
in it. When the AATs respawn, make sure to destroy them when no one
is in there. Just keep on killing. NOTE: This battle is all about
killing, not capturing command posts.

*2-Spawn as a Clone Trooper at the Ice Caves and head toward the
Lighthouse to capture it. Just stay there and destroy the droids
that try to reach the Lighthouse. Don't go down; just destroy all
of the droids you can see and get health and ammo when you need it.
That way, you can't die and you can rack up kills.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

g. Kashyyyk-Docks:
Difficulty: * * 1/2
Default Faction: Republic
Command Posts: City Hall, Pier One, Pier Two, Dock One, Dock Two,
Beachhead, Landing

-Prevent the separatists from establishing a beachhead.
-The observation platforms are excellent vantage points for sniping.

Spawn as a Clone Trooper at the City Hall and go directly toward the
uncontrolled base and capture it. Destroy the droids that try and get
near the command center. If you die, respawn and either Pier One or
Pier Two as a Clone Sharpshooter and snipe from the platforms at a
distance. Keep sniping until the battle is over.

a. Tatooine-Dune Sea: Desert Extermination
Difficulty: * 1/2
Default Faction: Empire
Command Posts: Bluff, Homestead, Tusken Camp, Cistern, Sandcrawler,
Dune Sea

-Wipe the dune sea clean of rebels and Tusken Raiders.
-Beware of the Sarlacc Pit!

Spawn as a Stormtrooper at the Sandcrawler and head toward the
Homestead. Kill the enemy units around the building, then go into
it and capture it. Then, head toward the Bluff and capture that
command post, too. Kill the enemies that pass the Bluff, even though
they will rarely see you. Head towards the big battle where the
Sarlaac pit and the Tusken Camp is. Get inside of a vehicle, because
the Sarlaac can only get you when you're running or not inside a
vehicle. Destroy the Tusken Raiders with your vehicle and
capture the Tusken Camp. After you've captured the Tusken Camp,
destroy the rest of your opponents until the battle is over.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

b. Tatooine-Mos Eisely: Siege of Mos Eisely
Difficulty: *
Default Faction: Empire
Command Posts: Market, Shops, Hangar, Cantina, Warehouse, Housing

-Lord Vader will assist you in this pacification campaign.
-The Dark Troopers are especially effective in navigating the tight
confines of Mos Eisely.

Spawn as a Stormtrooper at the Warehouse and go directly to the
Cantina and capture it. Keep killing until there is about 100 or
less enemies. When there are, head to the Hangar, because there are
a hug battle going on. Go up the ramps to capture the base. Kill
the soldiers that try to stop you. after you've captured it, stay
up there to kill the remaining enemies.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

c. Rhen Var-Citadel: Sabotage at Rhen Var
Difficulty: * 1/2
Default Faction: Empire
Command Posts: Observatory, Ruins, Watch, Courtyard, Terrace, Crypt,
Keep

-Defend the station at all costs.
-Remember, pilots can build and repair blaster turrets.

Start at the Observatory as a Stormtrooper. Fly toward the Keep,
enter from the side and capture it. Your opponent will enter from
the stairs outside. Stay at the stairs and throw your Thermal
Detonators when they appear. Then get out after they don't keep
coming and head down to the first landing on the stairs and go
to the Courtyard and make your way down. Stay on the stairs and
when the capture meter appears, stop. Stay there and come out only
when enemy troops enter the tower. When you've captured it, head out
and kill any enemies. Go to the stairs leading north. Head up the
stairs and head toward the Terrace. Capture it and head to the Keep.
Then, head to the Watch and push the enemy back. Capture the Watch
and kill any remaining soldiers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

d. Yavin 4-Arena: Assault on Yavin 4
Difficulty: * 1/2
Default Faction: Empire
Command Posts: Altar, East Box, West Box, Arena, Gates

-You must establish a foothold on Yavin 4.

Spawn at the East Box as either a Stormtrooper or Jet Trooper at
the East Box. Head toward the Arena (uncontrolled command post),
hide behind the health droid, and capture the command post. After
you have captured the command post, shoot up towards the West Box.
The East and West Boxes are perfect for snipers, so be careful.
Take them out with a head shot especially the units that are in the
tanks. Stay in the Arena, because units will come from the Gate. If
there aren't any units, go up to the West box and destroy as many
units as you can with your Thermal Detonators. Continue to destroy
units and protect the Arena until the battle is over.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

e. Yavin 4-Temple: The Fall of Yavin 4
Difficulty: * *
Default Faction: Rebels
Command Posts: Temple, Altar, Dry Pool, Forest Ruins, Viaduct, Fountain,
Over-look

-Delay the Imperials for as long as possible while the bulk of the
forces escape.
-Use the Vanguard to deploy mines along the paths to the temple.

Spawn at the Forest Ruins as a Rebel Soldier and go to the Fountain.
Kill as many units as you can and capture it. After you've captured
the Fountain, kill the rest of the units by it and command our allies
to follow you. Head toward the Over-look, which is across the bridge
and capture it. You could go down and kill the remaining units, or
stay at the Over-look, respawn as a Rebel Marksmen, and snipe the
remaining units.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

f. Hoth-Echo Base: The Battle of Hoth
Difficulty: * * * * *
Default Faction: Rebels
Command Posts: Echo Base, Control, Outpost, Shield Generator, Bunker,
AT-ATs, Forward Camp

-Defend the Shield Generator at all costs.
-Use the tow cables in the Snowspeeders to bring down the AT-ATs.

*1-Spawn as a Rebel Pilot at the Echo Base, get in a Snowspeeder,
order someone to come with you, and head toward the AT-ATs. Switch
to co-pilot so your ally can fly low, circling around the AT-ATs
legs. Tap R1 until you hook onto the AT-AT's legs. Your co-pilot
will circle around the AT-AT until it trips. You can do this with
both of the AT-ATs, or you can land at the Forward Camp and capture
it. Without the Forward Camp, the Empire will have no more AT-ATs.
After you've captured the Forward Camp, continue to kill as many
units as you can.

2-Spawn as a Rebel Soldier at the Bunker and head toward the Forward
Camp. There will be many units, so be ready. Throw Thermal Detonators
at the clusters of enemies and head towards one of their AT-STs. Get
in one and continue to destroy ground units and vehicles. The purpose
of the AT-ST is to kill and to damage their vehicles. If your AT-ST is
about to be destroyed, get out and destroy it yourself with your Thermal
Detonators.

3-Spawn as a Rebel Pilot at the Shield Generator and hide behind it. When
units come near, shoot at them and hide. This way you won't die. If the
AT-AT comes, repair the Shield Generator when it shoots it. If the AT-AT
isn't there, go out and destroy the units that are near the Shield
Generator. Always came back to the Shield Generator every few minutes
to repair it if it has been shot at.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

g. Bespin-Cloud City: The Liberation of Cloud City
Difficulty: * *
Default Faction: Rebels
Command Posts: Rear Entrance, Chamber, Forward Flank, Courtyard, Walkway,
Rear Flank

-There are many excellent hiding spots for our marksmen.
-Wookiees are strong allies, use them wisely.

*1-Spawn as a Rebel Soldier at the Rear Flank and head towards the
Walkway. There will be many units spawning there, so be careful.
When you get close enough, throw a Thermal Detonator and you will
kill at least five units with one Thermal Detonator. When you have
cleared the pathway, capture the Walkway. Proceed to the Forward
Flank which is the closest command post to the Walkway. Again, there
will be many units, but not as much. Kill those units as well and
capture the Forward Flank. Go down the ramp to the Courtyard. This
is probably the biggest battle on Cloud City. Take out the units in
the tanks with a head shot and proceed to the Courtyard. Just stay
there to kill the rest of the enemies.

2-Spawn as a Rebel Soldier at the Rear Entrance and head into the
black and silver tunnel. The tunnel leads to the Chamber. Capture
the Chamber (uncontrolled base) and head out to the big battle near
the Courtyard. Hide behind a ledge and shoot all the units you see.
If you die, respawn at the Rear Flank as a Rebel Marksman and snipe
for the rest of the battle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

h. Bespin-Platforms: Battle in the Clouds
Difficulty: * *
Default Faction: Rebels
Command Posts: Dock, Fuel, Command, Extractor, Control, Landing, Depot

-Remember, Pilots will automatically repair whatever vehicle they're
currently piloting.
-Use the fighter craft and attack the enemy from behind.

Spawn at the Command as a Rebel Soldier, immediately head towards the
Extractor (uncontrolled base) and capture it. There will be constant
fire from the units that spawn at the Control. Stay at the Extractor
and kill the units that try to capture the Extractor. When the pathway
is cleared, only go in halfway, because there might be someone manning
a gun turret that can shoot you. Throw two grenades; one to your right,
and one to your left. When that pathway is cleared, or very weak, go
into the Control and capture it. After you've captured it, continue
to kill the rest of the enemies until the battle is over.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

i. Endor-Bunker: The Battle of Endor
Difficulty: * * 1\2
Default Faction: Rebels
Command Posts: Barracks, Camp, East Trail, Village, Rebel Outpost, Shield
Bunker

-The Ewoks have agreed to help our cause, so be careful with your
weapons.
-Destroy the Shield Bunker by blowing up the command post inside it.
Remember, you must still eliminate all Imperial forces on the map.

Spawn as a Rebel Soldier at the East Trail and head towards the
Camp. Kill the surrounding enemies and capture the command
post. Then, head towards the Barracks. Be sure to always hide behind
trees, rocks, and bushes. The Rebel have perfect outfits for Endor.
Kill the enemies there and capture the Barracks. Finally, head toward
the Shield Bunker and throw Thermal Detonators/Concussion
Grenades at it. If you run out of Thermal Detonators and Concussion
Grenades, shoot it until you run out of bullets or get ammo from a
health vendor. After you've destroyed the Shield Bunker, kill the
rest of the units until the battle is over.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

7B-Galactic Conquest

In this mode the player uses strategy to take control of planets and
dominate an area of the galaxy. First you choose a map configuration
based on conflicts from both eras of Star Wars history. Some maps
start both sides evenly and some favor one faction. Then you choose
which faction you would like to play. The game is played by turns,
with the player starting with initiative. When you have initiative
you are able to choose which planet to attack. The battle then takes
place in the same manner as the other game modes. If you are victorious,
you maintain initiative and may select another planet to attack. If
your enemy wins a battle, it will then be able to choose where to
attack until you again win a battle. Once you have gained complete
control of a planet by winning a battle there, you then gain the
ability to use the planet's bonus. Each Planet provides its own unique
bonus, so choose your attacks wisely. After attaining access to one
or more of these bonuses, you may select one bonus from the planets
you control, which will then apply during the current battle. If one
side manages to win four battles (not necessarily in a row), they
gain access to their faction's Secret Base bonus. The Secret Base
bonuses are very powerful and change the course of the game. They
can be used on any enemy planet, except for the enemy's Secret
Base. the game is completed when one faction controls all of the
planets on the map.

8. Hints and Strategies
~----------------------------------------------------------------~

General Strategies

1- Take the center command post. Then you can launch attacks from
the command posts around it easily.

2- Use the Airspeeders to destroy AT-ATs when they are available.

3- Never fight with a Jedi. There is a 99% chance you'll lose.

4- Rolling to the side is a good way to escape grenades. To do that,
strafe sideways and jump at the same time.

5- Listen to all of your allies' commands. If they tell you to follow,
then follow. Most importantly, if they say "Grenade! Grenade!" or
"Get down!", run, because there is a bomb.

6- If you start losing, capture more command posts.

7- If you want to destroy a lot of troops, always use your soldiers.
That's why I kept on telling you to spawn as a soldier

8- Know what units do and what to use in a certain situation.
For example, use a pilot if you are on Rhen Var: Harbor because
there are a lot of turrets that need to be build and a lot of
vehicles to be repaired.

9- Know your enemies' weaknesses. For example, Dark Troopers
have poor ranged abilities and Snipers are useless in close combat.

10- Don't ever stand still when you are out in the open. You may
think you are safe, but you never know when a sniper is aimed at
you.

11- Use the mini-map. It can tell you where enemies are and where
other command posts are.

12- Use Instant Action to improve your skills.

13- Use vehicles to your benefit. Use Speeders to get around faster
and use Medium and Heavy Assault vehicles to take down enemies.

14- Watch the skies, especially when you are the Empire and Y-Wings
are zooming over your head.

15- Survey the area you're about to attack from a distance. Make
sure there are no enemies in turrets or anything.

16- Use the terrain to your advantage. If there is tall grass,
lay prone and crawl. If there are stacks of logs, crouch by
them to provide cover.

17- If you are defending a command post, use the droids around
you, such as the health and ammo vendors.

18- Watch out for mines, especially in Bespin: Cloud City in
the Chamber. The orange lights make mines nearly invisible.
Mines can be destroyed.

19- When in a ground vehicle, kill the units with heavy weapons
first.

20- Get the command posts where the vehicles are first, so you
don't have to worry about taking tanks out when you are in the
heart of the battle.

21- You are the difference in the battle. 9 out of 10 times the
battle will be lost without you.

22- If you are in a vehicle, try to have a co-pilot, a main
gunner, etc, so you are not alone. Then, you can double weapons.

23- Know what you are about to fight if you are doing a sneak
attack. Observe a little and use a recon droid. If you are a
heavy-weapons unit, don't go plunging into a battle against
soldiers.

24- Make sure that there are no snipers in the area before you
attack. The best thing is to take a recon droid and survey the
area.

25- If you plan to be in an aircraft for a long time, be a
Pilot. If you get hit, you can hover over your own territory,
automatically repairing.

26- If you are in aircraft and are looking down at masses of
enemies, go in for an attack run, but be sure to pull up. his
is another way to destroy medium-assault vehicles easily.

27- Always check your map to make sure that there isn't a huge
battle or a command post you didn't know got taken.

28- Don't underestimate the distance of a fall. Don't jump down
anything higher than a normal house-roof in Mos Eisely.

29- Always spawn near an enemy's command post so you can capture
it.

Given Strategies

1- From Cpeelee (small changes), Naboo-Theed:

Step 1: Go to the center of the map and choose the command post
closest to the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Make a left and you will see a balcony-like patio, go
to it, but not under it.

Step 3: Get close, but not too close, look as far down as you
can, and throw a grenade.

Step 4: Walk up and over onto the grenade (once the grenade
touches ground it takes around 3 seconds to blow up).

Step 5: Jump right before the grenade blows up so when it
blows up you will be flung into the air (you can now steer
yourself onto the balcony but steering with the grenade jump
is almost always hard to do, it takes a lot of practice).

NOTE: The closer you are to the grenade after you jump when
it blows up, the higher you will go. If you dont jump and let
it explode you will still be flung into the air but not always
in the direction you want to go in plus it will be even harder
to steer.

2- From Derek A. Sorensen, Rhen Var-Harbor:
When you're a rebel soldier, you can jump into a combat speeder
alone and, when strafing in the combat speeder, you can climb
up the mountain. When you're up high enough, you can go prone
and fire at the AT-ATs without them shooting you back; however,
you might want to be slightly hidden because the IFT-T's will
shoot at you.

Note: You can hide behind the combat speeder and snipe people,
with them shooting at the speeder, and not you.

Killing Strategies

1- If a Droideka is shooting at you, get right next to the
Droideka's Shield and start blasting. The Droideka cannot
hurt you, so you can kill it without getting any damage.

2- If you are a Dark Trooper or Rebel Pilot, you can get right
next to your enemies and can kill them with on blast. If all of
the bullets hit, it will almost always kill them.

3- Use Recon Droids to do Orbital Strikes.

4- Aim to the head with any weapon it will deplete their health
faster.

5- Use Thermal Detonators at clusters of enemies.

6- Use vehicles to deplete reinforcements.

7- Put mines around the field with Heavy Weapon units.

8- If people are in turrets, shoot their bodies, not the turrets.

9- Always have friendly fire off.

10- Use snipers to pick off enemies that are at a higher elevation.

11- Use command posts as cover. If you get hurt, go to the health
vendor. If you need ammo, go to the ammo vendor.

12- Hide for shelter; that way, you won't get hit. Then, you can
come out and kill them.

13- Kill the most dangerous units first. Take down soldiers first,
and snipers last if in close combat.

14- If you have a Jedi on the team, stay with him for protection,
or order him to follow you for assaults.

Special Thanks to KingUndrTheMtn and Cpeelee

~----------------------------------------------------------------~

1. Tauntaun
The Rebels ride able animal on Hoth.

2. Kaduu
It's a Gungan animal that anyone can ride.

3. Anti-Air Turret
These turrets are found on Bespin Platforms and are lethal to
everything.

4. Anti-Vehicle Cannon
These white cannons are found on Hoth and are supposed to destroy
vehicles, but, really, vehicles destroy the turrets before you get
to destroy the vehicle.

5. Anti-Infantry Laser Battery
This satellite type laser blaster really packs a punch. You can
charge it up for a bigger blast radius.

6. Tower Turret
This tree-like turret is very high up and is found on Yavin 4 Temple.

7. Geonosian Sonic Blaster
This very weak turret is found on Geonosis Spire. It shoots sonic booms
at you that doesnt really do any damage to you.

8. Gun Turret
These are the most common turrets that are found on almost every level.

11. Frequently Asked Questions
~----------------------------------------------------------------~

Q. Can you be a Jedi?
A. Sorry, no. You can be a Jedi, though, in Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Q. Are there any unlockable units?
A. If you can count the Super Battle Droid, Dark Trooper, Jet Trooper,
and Wookiee as unlockable units, I guess there are unlockable units.

Q. Can you be a Jawa?
A. No, you can't. You can be a Jawa and an Ewok in Battlefront 2.

Q. How can I destroy vehicles easily?
A. If you're on Hoth, use the Anti Vehicle Laser Cannons or just spawn
as a unit with a Missile Launcher, stay at a command post for ammo and
health, and keep on shooting the vehicle.

Q. I keep on getting killed by turrets. How do I survive?
A. Well, an easy way is to shoot the unit in the turrets in the head
until they die.

Q. Can you save while playing?
A. No, you can't.

Q. What is your recommended unit of choice?
A. Out of all the factions, I'd probably pick Rebel Soldiers, because
they have the most ammo in their very powerful Blaster Rifle, and they
have a balanced number of Thermal Detonators and Concussion Grenades.

Q. How can you play Splitscreen? I have two controllers.
A. You need to have two controllers and two profiles.
