Version 0.8 Started: November 21, 2007 Completed: November 30, 2007 - Completed Chokehold and Trailblazer missions. **WALKTHROUGH** ================================================================================ Mission 1: Winterblade [01WIN] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- A Pavehawk helicopter was downed by enemy fire and crashed in the southern mountains of Adjikistan. The helicopter was transporting a SEAL team that was in the area to extract a CIA agent - codenamed UNDERWOOD. Locate the downed helicopter and demo it to prevent sensitive equipment from falling into enemy hands. Then search the nearby village for any survivors from the crash. Be sure to disable and enemy communications - the less the paramilitaries know of our actions, the better. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- Equip yourself and your teammates with suppressors. Make sure to have a Sniper rifle and Grenades. --------------------------------- Secondary Objective: Recon Crash Site from Delta Point --------------------------------- Don't move! Immediately at the start of the mission, stay hidden in the bushes and clear CHARLIE by taking down the two enemies right in front of you. Don't worry about interrupting the briefing (you can always get the mission summary at the Tactical Map menu). Rest your sight on the enemies, then order FIRETEAM to COVER TARGET or FIRE AT WILL. Once both are down, have your team follow you to CHARLIE. From CHARLIE point, go left and move up the embankment. Take the path with the heavy foot traffic on your left, which stars at the two snow-covered boulders. Hug the left side of the trail and move slowly toward DELTA. Order FIRETEAM to HOLD FIRE. Once you reach DELTA, order your team to HOLD POSITION while you recon the Crash Site from behind the bushes. Use your scope or binoculars to zoom in on the helicopter crash. You'll relay to your team that this point is not a good place to pick a fight. Move on to the next recon point by heading toward the small wood wall built into the mountain southeast of DELTA. Climb the small wood wall and walk slowly along the mountain, staying incognito. At the intersection, turn right and head for the bushes uphill in front of you. At the top of the hill, have Bravo take their place behind the bushes. Order BRAVO to OVERWATCH the Crash Site and to HOLD FIRE. -------------------------------- Secondary Objective: Recon Crash Site from Echo Point -------------------------------- Backtrack to the snow-covered path with your team and proceed to ECHO. About 10 meters before you reach ECHO, go prone and move slowly into the bushes. Once you zoom in your sights on to the crash site, your recon objective is completed. Now order FIRETEAM to OPEN FIRE and eliminate the enemy threat. ----------------------------------------- Primary Objective: Infiltrate Crash Site and Demo Helicopter ----------------------------------------- Once you've eliminated everyone, move into the Crash Site. Order BRAVO team to HOLD POSITION to give you cover just in case not all the hostiles were eliminated. Toss in a grenade for good measure. Now plant the C4 in the downed helicopter and quickly run for cover. Once the helicopter explodes, gather your team and proceed back to ECHO. |Crosstalk Objective | |Just across the path from ECHO, look for an opening in-between a fallen dead |tree and a large standing tree. A few meters ahead is a patrol group. |Ambush the patrol squad. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now head north back to CHARLIE and on to FOXTROT. Just around the bend after you pass FOXTROT, move slowly and stealthily through the bushes and trees on the left of the path. You want to be hidden as you move toward INDIA. At 15 meters from INDIA, you and your team should be completely hidden behind the brush with a perfect view of the communications tent. There is a three man team of guards in this area. Order FIRETEAM to FIRE AT WILL to dispose the enemies quickly and silently. Watch out for the lone straggler coming down the mountain to help his comrades. Serve him the same fate! ---------------------- Primary Objective: Destroy Communications ---------------------- Once INDIA is cleared, enter the tent and destroy the enemy's radio. Now enemies won't be able to call in for help. Order BRAVO to HOLD POSITION, while you take the path directly across from the communication tent up alongside the mountain from where the lone straggler came. At the end of the path, just past the bridge, there is a full view of the village. It is being patrolled by four armed militia. Look east and above the village to spot one of two snipers daydreaming. Put them to sleep with precise headshots. Order BRAVO to move below you at the base of the mountain and into the bushes. Once everyone is at this position, order BRAVO to FIRE AT WILL to clear the lower part of the village. Once the cleansing is done, don't move into the village. Instead, gather everyone and have them follow you across the bridge that is nearest to your position. After crossing the bridge, go over the small wood planks. Order BRAVO to take position underneath the wood covering below you. While they're on the move, you can cover them, and if you have the shot, kill the enemy pacing around the upper part of the village. Once BRAVO is in place and is set to overwatch the village, move with Jester over the other small wood platform to the left leading up into the mountain. Proceed up the mountain quietly. Just around the corner, there may be a sniper. Eliminate him quietly, then continue your ascent by heading over the small bridge to your left toward LIMA and take down the three sentries gathered around the fire. ---------------- Bonus Objective: Obtain Map ---------------- Follow the path toward PAPA, and then continue on to ROMEO. At about 30 meters from ROMEO, chuck a grenade into the encampment in front of you. Once the grenade goes off, storm in weapons free. The four enemies won't know what hit them. Your prize catch: a valuable map inside the tent. REWARD: ------- Key locations are marked on with navigation points. Once you've cleared the mountain, return to where you shot the sniper dead and clear out the village below you. Order BRAVO to enter the village and FIRE AT WILL. -------------------- Primary Objective: Search For Survivors -------------------- Clear out the entire village. The most effective way is to have your team search and clear each house one at a time. Eventually, you find two dead comrades inside one of the houses. Enemy backup is now on its way. That's your queue to leave. The mission is now complete. ================================================================================ Mission 2: Reprisal [02REP] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- The paramilitaries have been tracked to a number of mountain caves not far from the crash site. Intel suggests the paramilitaries are using these caves as a staging area to launch attacks on the surrounding countryside. Penetrate the caves and cripple the paramilitaries' mountain operations by taking out key elements of their infrastructure. Keep a look out for any missing members of VANDAL's team. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- When fighting in close quarters, like in saves, it's best to equip yourself and your team with weapons that are most effective indoors. Give a Shotgun to any one of your teammates as well as song Flashbangs and M67 Grenades. Also, equip yourself with a 4x scope. At the abandoned village, head for CHARLIE. Sit undercover just behind the two trees, in front of the torn-down shack. Ahead are three sentries in conversation. When you have heard enough, order FIRETEAM to FIRE AT WILL and eliminate the unfortunate trio. Do not continue on to CHARLIE. Instead, turn around and go east, through the abandoned village toward DELTA. Hold position at the second house on the left and looks straight up toward the ridge. Take out the lone guard standing there. Ascend the mountain by following the trees lined to the right. Once you're right in front of the big boulder at DELTA, take out the three-man squad just behind it. From DELTA point, climb straight up the snowy hill toward the small fire. At the fire, take the granite path along the mountain. Make your way to INDIA. Right before you cross the bridge, scan upward for sentries. There should be two in front of you on the second and third hanging platforms above. Cross over the bridge. Just past INDIA, climb on top of the wood installations on your right. Proceed slowly along the narrow path. At the intersection, turn right and move along the wood planks to the top of the mountain. You encounter a single sentry around the first turn. Take him out quickly as he won't be expecting you. Proceed on the path; stop when you're about 40 meters away from JULIET. Zoom in with your scope through the mist directly west of your position. There are two guards on a landing platform - one on the platform and one below. They see you if you continue forward. Obviously you don't want to be seen, so take them out. Once you're done, move forward and climb up the raised platform. Turn right and head east, ascending even higher. You are about to enter the caves. At this point, order FIRETEAM to FIRE AT WILL. Peek around the wood barrier on your left as you enter the save and take out the lone patrolman. Move slowly to LIMA. Stop at the overhead lamp with the next room directly ahead. There are three guards inside, one of them manning a machine gun. It is too dangerous to run-and-gun. Instead, toss a grenade into the room. Once detonated, storm the room with the entire team to finish off anyone remaining. Once the room is cleared, turn around and head back to LIMA. Facing where you originally entered, turn left at the two boulders and make your way to PAPA. Move slowly down the snaking path. Just past ROMEO, enter the larger cave. ---------------------- Primary Objective: Destroy Communications ---------------------- The communications area is down the path to your left. Outside the structure there may be a single soldier, but there are two guards using the radio. Peek around the corner and dispose of the soldier standing outside with a well placed headshot. Rush to the door, and quickly dispose of the two soldiers and disable their radio. Upon exiting the communications area, move straight, but don't climb onto the raised platform. Instead, proceed along the rock surface and underneath the raised platforms toward VICTOR. At the edge of the snow is the cave that houses the ammo dump. Now proceed through the water to the cave. At the entrance near the other cave is another guard. Be careful, there's a third soldier hiding on the ledge to the very left as you come in. Kill the two guards as you sweep into the cave. Have BRAVO watch over the area, especially toward the weapons stash room and the other cave entrance. From here, your team should be able to take out the soldier that runs out of the weapons stash room, as well as the other guard coming in from the entrance. -------------------------- Primary Objective: Plant Satchel At Ammo Dump -------------------------- Take Jester to help clear the room with the ammo cache. You can storm in the room as there is just one soldier in there. Once you place a satchel at the Ammo Dump, exit the room. ----------------------------- Primary Objective: Plant Satchel at Weapons Area ----------------------------- Now clear the Weapons Area room and plant a satchel. Make sure everyone is covering the west entrance of the cave as you move to the weapons room. Just outside there is a guard aiming his gun toward you. You can take him out even if you're still inside the cave. Once you planted the two satchels, head for the fuel dump through the west entrance. Watch out for two guards rushing toward you as you move along the raised platform. -------------------------- Primary Objective: Plant Satchel at Fuel Dump -------------------------- At the end of the raised platform is the Fuel Dump. Place a satchel on the Fuel Dump. Now continue west around the short wood wall on the path to X-RAY checkpoint. At the end of the path is a room. Have your team breach the room, which houses a lone soldier. ------------------ Bonus Objective: Obtain Troop Intel ------------------ In the room you find valuable intel on enemy troop movement. Gather it and then exit the east door. As soon as you open the door, there is a guard waiting for you. One of your teammmates should be able to hit him automatically. Reward ------ Enemies are not equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and equipment. ----------------------- Primary Objective: Secure Missing Fireteam ----------------------- Head toward YANKEE. Enter the small crate-filled cave in front of you. Order FIRETEAM to FIRE AT WILL. Take care of the three soldiers inside. Now take the first door on your left. Careful, there's a soldier standing guard inside. Dispose of him quickly, and in the adjoining room, secure UNDERWOOD. --------------------------- Primary Objective: Secure Underwood to Extract --------------------------- Exit the small room with UNDERWOOD and head south up the path toward YANKEE. Just past YANKEE, you'll have a full view of the extraction area. Take out any remaining sentries, including the guy manning the machine gun and the four soldiers moving down the snowy path toward the extract zone. Move with UNDERWOOD to the extraction point and your team is ready to be picked up. ================================================================================ Mission 3: Whipsaw [03WHI] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- Infiltrate the paramilitary's training camp nestled at the foot of the mountain range where the Pavehawk went down. Agent UNDERWOOD was close to identifying the source of the paramilitaries support before his cover was blown. Locate the intel that UNDERWOOD left behind. With such a high concentration of enemy forces, maintaining stealth will be of the utmost importance. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- Take with you a silenced sniper rifle, preferably the SR-25, as well as a 12x scope zoom or medium scope. Make sure your team is equipped with silencers or the mission will be quite difficult. It is also best to use Night Vision so you can see moving targets easier. -------------------- Secondary Objective: Recon Boat Launch -------------------- Immediately at the start of your position, zoom in northeast toward CHARLIE with your scope or with your binoculars to recon the Boat Launch across the water. Take note of where the guards are posted. Have the entire team mount the boat. Head east across the water toward the small path just right of the water inlet. Get out and move slowly up the path. Switch to night vision and scan the surrounding area. Down the path, there are three soldiers in front of you, two patrolling together, and one holding position on high ground. Snipe the loner on the hill only after the patrolling pair is far enough that they won't see a body falling from above. Let the two-man patrol walk toward the Boat Launch untouched... for now. Once it's clear, proceed quietly along the water's edge through the bushes. Follow the brush up the hill to the right. Take the path to the right, which will lead up to the spot where the lone soldier you took out once stood. Once there, you'll have a nice view of the Boat Launch area. Now sit quietly and ambush the two soldiers who should be on their way back. They may have a friend. Take them all out in one fell swoop as soon as they're in range. As soon as you open fire, watch for two soldiers coming out of the house closest to you. Hold position (as you're on higher ground) and take care of them. There are two guards in the smaller house in the back. Inch down the hill and you have a clear view of them though the window. Bang, they're dead. Proceed to the house closest to you. Clear the remaining two soldiers inside with stealth and efficiency - they won't know what hit them. Make your way slowly to the small house, following the water's edge. There are two soldiers outside waiting for you, and if they heard the gunshots, they'll either be crossing the road toward you or waiting for you on one of the piers. Take them out. ---------------------- Primary Objective: Infiltrate Boat Launch ---------------------- Follow the wood plank around the boat launch, and surprise the two standing guards. The entire Boat Launch should now be completely clear except for one straggler standing inside the top floor of the bathroom. Once inside the launch, you've completed infiltrating it. Proceed upstairs, where you hear radio static. Shoot the lone soldier through the wood door. Enter the room and destroy the radio, then exit the boat launch. Head back toward the short pier nearest to you. |Crosstalk Objective | |Within the Boat Launch or the other two cabin structures, look for the Cartel |Info sitting inside a green folder on top of a table. The Cartel Info is |randomly placed in this area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Secondary Objective: Recon Tower -------------------- Walk to the end of the pier and zoom in with your scope across the water toward DELTA. The recon on the Tower shows it is set up with an alarm as well as a communications relay. Now go mount the truck sitting just outside and drive along the dirt road. Drive full speed, and as you go over the bridge, order FIRETEAM to FIRE AT WILL. You either run over three tangos standing in your way or kill them with a barrage of bullets. Don't worry about them shooting at you. The truck provides enough protection. Just after the bridge, stop at the dirt path on your left. Have everyone dismount and proceed down the path. Once you reach the water's edge, go into the water and swim slowly toward DELTA point, the Tower. As soon as the tower is in your view, you should be in shallow water. Stop and look for two snipers. You find one perched outside on top of the tower. The other is to the right of the tower near the edge of the cliff, just right of the last tree in sight. Take them both out. ------------------ Primary Objective: Infiltrate Tower ------------------ Continue around the face of the cliff until you see a trail that leads up to the tower. Proceed slowly up the path. Have everyone go prone once you reach the underbrush, just outside the tower. There are one or two guards in the vicinity. Have your team FIRE AT WILL. They should be able to take care of any threats around you. Order BRAVO to HOLD POSITION to cover the outside area, while you enter the tower and run and un the first area. ------------------- Bonus Objective: Destroy Radio Relay ------------------- Inside, disable the radio relay on the table. Disable the alarm on the wall, too. Now the paramilitary can't call in for backup or alert anyone else of your deadly presence. Reward ------ Fewer enemies on patrol. ----------------------- Primary Objective: Secure Missing Fireteam ----------------------- Climb up the ladder inside the tower. On the second level, go outside and climb the ladder up to the third level. Once you reach the top, you find AZTEC alive and well. Restrain him and leave him there. -------------------- Secondary Objective: Recon Sawmill -------------------- Go back outside and zoom in on ECHO point across the water to recon the Sawmill. Note the small generator sitting just right of the Sawmill. ------------------ Primary Objective: Infiltrate Sawmill ------------------ Gather the team and swim toward ECHO. At the water's edge, don't climb up into the Sawmill. Instead, swim around the logs and move up the shore. The generator is sitting right in front of you. Turn it off, and its lights out for the entire area. You've successfully infiltrated the Sawmill when you set foot inside, but another objective has been added. You must destroy the paramilitary's Firing Range. No problem. Time to order your team to FIRE AT WILL. From your current position next to the Sawmill, watch out for the two soldiers to the northeast along the road. Take them out quickly. If gunshots were heard, the two-man squad at the firing squad across the way will run toward you. Either way, take them out. Proceed northeast and around the small shack. Now move slowly toward the Firing Range. Just before the Firing Range, look back toward the north and you'll see another two-man squad across the road. Take them out before they see you. --------------------- Primary Objective: Demo The Firing Range --------------------- Clear the area. Go to the ammo box at the firing range and plant a C4. Boom! The objective is complete. Now proceed to clean out the Sawmill and look for the intel. Leave BRAVO downstairs in the Sawmill and get them to HOLD POSITION at the small structure just west of your position. There are two sentries inside, as well as a single guard roaming around outside that area. Upstairs in the Sawmill, there are five guards - two in the east-most corner room and in the room closest to the stairs. You and Jester can easily clear out both rooms. Upstairs, you have a good view of the structure across the way. Rest your sights on any targets you see and take them out. ------------------ Primary Objective: Obtain Intel ------------------ Now clear the small structure, which Bravo is overwatching. The entire Sawmill area should now be secured. Proceed to find the intel inside on of the structures in the area. Placement of the intel is random, but more than likely you will find it sitting on top of a barrel. Once you've found Underwood's Intel, the mission is completed. ================================================================================ Mission 4: Broken Arrow [04BRO] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- Located in a chain of small rocky islands, the Soviet Gulag used to hold imprisoned scientists who were forced to work on chemical weapons research. Somehow the paramilitaries got access to this camp after it was liberated 30 years ago, and are using it to hold civilian prisoners. Eliminate the anti-air defenses and communications relay at the lighthouse to secure safe passage for the rescue helicopter, then search the larger island for any detained civilians. Members of VANDAL's team may also be detained there. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- As per usual, take a sniper rifle and silenced pistol. Give your teammates silenced Assault Rifles, M67 Grenades and Flashbangs. At the start of the mission, steer the boat forward just a bit and look toward the second level of the lighthouse in front of you. A sniper patrols the walkway. Quietly take him out before you get to shore. Now drive your boat to the right toward the other side of the lighthouse, either skirting the out-of-bounds area or hugging close to the island during the way - just as long as no one can see you coming ashore. Order FIRETEAM to HOLD FIRE as you want to come to shore silently. Land the boat quietly where the path meets the water. Have everyone dismount and move slowly on to the shore. Proceed slowly up the embankment toward the AA gun to the right of you. Two men are standing guard. When both of them are in prime shooting range, order FIRETEAM to FIRE AT WILL and take them all out. If done correctly, the enemies should not have let off a single shot. Don't destroy the AA gun just yet. Continue up the embankment quietly. Hug the side of the lighthouse or crawl through the bushes. Just around the left corner is the second AA gun, guarded by a lone soldier. Peek around the corner and take him out. Now sneak to the lighthouse entrance, which is on the same side as you landed your boat. Beyond the doorway is a soldier guarding the first floor. Have your team breach the room. Eliminate the single soldier. Upon entering, look up the staircase. Be ready for a soldier running down the stairs to help his now fallen comrade. |Crosstalk Objective | |Proceed up the lighthouse stairs. At the top of the first flight of stairs |are gun crates with Attack Plans sitting on top of them. Collect the Attack |Plans to complete the Crosstalk Objective. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Primary Objective: Destroy Communications ---------------------- Now take the second flight of stairs around the corner to the top of the light- house. Proceed slowly up as there are one or two guards at the top. Get them before they notice you. The entire lighthouse is now free from the paramilitary regime. At the top of the lighthouse, disable the radio. ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo AA Guns ------------------ Head back down to the ground floor and destroy the two AA guns on the island. By destroying both the guns, the evacuation team can come in to pick up the POWs once you're finished with the mission. Proceed back to your boat and head for the island camp. Aim for ECHO, which is the start point of a path that leads right into the camp. Before you hit land, take a moment in the boat to scope out your landing area. There are two guards patrolling the inlet and another in the watch tower. You can take them all out from the boat. Once on shore, take the path until you see the camp in front of you. Order BRAVO to HOLD POSITION from here. Now take Jester back to ECHO, then climb up to the upper path the leads to a small hill where you'll have a view of the entire camp. At the top of the hill, proceed forward until you see another guard tower in front of you. Zoom in and take out the guard in that tower. Zoom in and take out the guard in that tower. Proceed west, walking along the edge to the first dead tree you see. The building right below has a hostage. Don't rescue him just yet. Stay still, and turn toward the northeast. Find the single soldier standing next to the small shack - head shot is in order. Now follow the ridge that you're on with your gun site all the way up to the tallest peak. Just left of it, you should see a roaming solider. Take him out. Move slowly along the ridge until you see FOXTROT point in the middle of the camp. The building to the left houses another hostage, as well as one soldier. There's also another watch tower that needs to be cleared in front of you. Once the tower is cleared, it's time for a surprise attack on the encampment. Have BRAVO rush to FOXTROT and order them to FIRE AT WILL. You and JESTER should move in fast at the same time. -------------------- Primary Objective: Secure the Prisoners -------------------- Be careful of the single guard inside the first building with the hostage in it. Enter the building to clear it while BRAVO fires on the other target inside the building to your left. Once the two buildings are secure, secure both prisoners and leave them inside the structure. ----------------------- Bonus Objective: Destroy Cargo Transport ----------------------- Now gather the entire team and rush north to the water edge where a Cargo Boat sits. Order your team to attack the boat. Lay on the boat with everything you've got and destroy it. Once you've completed the Bonus Objective, proceed with the entire team back to where you took out the sniper on top of the hill. Once you're on top of the hill, use your sniper skills to take out anyone hanging out on the top of the floor balcony or inside past the open doorways of the Guard House. It is time to clear out the inside of the Guard House. With the entire team, move up the front entrance of the house slowly. There are about four tangos on the first floor - two in the front rooms near the entrance, one guarding the stairwell and the other coming from the side entrance to the left side of the house. Stay alert and you'll be fine. Reward ------ Heavy weapons crated located on dock in Stockpile. Less bodyguards around the MONGOOSE in Highwire. ---------------------- Primary Objective: Secure The Guard House ---------------------- Once the floor is cleared, head upstairs. There are three to four soldiers on the top floor depending on how many you killed from the top of the hill. Once the top floor is cleared, the entire Guard House is secure. ----------------------- Primary Objective: Secure Missing Fireteam ----------------------- WINGTIP is being held upstairs. He is guarded by one soldier either in the storage room or in one of the bedrooms. Make sure to clear the entire top floor before you secure WINGTIP. This entire mission is completed once he is secure. ================================================================================ Mission 5: Stockpile [05STO] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- The paramilitaries are working with a local drug cartel. They are acting as the middleman between the cartel and the unidentified third party. To maintain their smuggling operations, the paramilitaries have seized an abandoned Soviet storage facility located in a remote island chain off the coast of Adjikstan. This storage facility once housed chemical weapons to which the paramilitaries may have access. Disrupt the smuggling operations in order to cut off the paramilitary funding. You also need to mark all of the chemical weapon canisters with beacons for the Hazmat team, which will dispose of the weapons once you've secured the area. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- Silenced weapons aren't necessary in this mission. Equip two teammates with high-powered weaponry without suppressors and one of them with a Shotgun. Use Front Grip/Red Dot/Rifle Laser attachments to your weapons to make them much more accurate. From the starting point, swim to shore and proceed slightly toward CHARLIE point through the bushes behind the Vehicle Depot. Just before CHARLIE, at the corner of the Vehicle Depot, HOLD POSITION. The bushes are adequate enough to cover you and your team. There's a great view of the cliff to the south where a sniper is patrolling as well as the warehouse and surrounding team. There's one guard standing in front of you while a single soldier walks between the depot and warehouse. There's also a lone soldier walking on the walkway along the water in the distance. Once all the soldiers are in your sites, order FIRETEAM to FIRE AT WILL. All targets should be cut down with precision. ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo Vehicle Depot ------------------ Once the area is cleared, place a satchel on the barrels in the Vehicle Depot. Get as far away as you possible before the satchel detonates. Gather up your team and move slowly toward the warehouse. As you get close to the warehouse you are going to encounter three more hostiles - two on the ground floor and another on the second floor. The three- some can easily be overpowered by your team. ------------------------ Primary Objective: Obtain Shipping Manifest ------------------------ Once you reach the warehouse, have BRAVO HOLD POSITION and FIRE AT WILL at DELTA point, while you sweep inside. The Shipping Manifest is sitting on a table on the first floor of the warehouse. With Jester, head toward the small backdoor of the warehouse. Just outside, north of you, past DELTA there is a guard. Take him out if BRAVO hasn't already. Behind the warehouse on the hill is a sniper; lean around the corner to take him out. ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo Heroin Crates ------------------ Gather the entire team and head for DELTA. Just past DELTA are the Heroin Crates. The Heroin Crates can actually spawn in one of three locations, underneath the open shelter. behind the warehouse, and on the docks. Clear out any guards, then satchel the crates. --------------------- Bonus Objective: Demo Weapons Shipment --------------------- Just below facing west, there's a guard on high alert near some weapon crates. A strong attack with the entire team takes care of it. Now place a satchel on the crates to destroy the Weapons Shipment. The Weapons Crates are only there if the bonus objective in Broken Chains was completed. Otherwise the boat carrying the weapons needs to be destroyed. Reward ------ Enemies are not equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and equipment. ------------------------------- Infiltrate the Storage Facility ------------------------------- Head for the storage facility that houses the Chemical Weapons. Travel east and go up the path slowly through the bushes. At the entrance of the facility there are three guards. One is standing at the very right of the entrance, another is going to attempt to run outside to help his buddies, while the other is manning the machine gun. Take them all out. Walk past the machine gun inside, and enter the storage facility. Proceed slowly down the hallway. At the room with the strangely lined floor, climb on top of the table, then climb again to the second floor. Although cramped, this is an area that gives you access to the entire facility without being noticed. Follow the crawl space until you come to a T-intersections. Go left and look through the open-ceiling grate. Take out any guards you see from where you're sitting. Wait for a couple minutes should any more guards come. Turnaround and proceed straight down until you hit another T-intersection. Proceed in the same direction and move straight until you see a grate on the right. Check below for any henchmen. Take them our if you see any. Stay there for a few minutes in case more men come. Once done cleaning, remain above, and continue straight toward the east side of the building. At the right junction, there may be a soldier standing guard. Peak around the corner and take him out. Continue east on the path. |Crosstalk Objective | |At the end of the path, there's a ceiling grate that leads below to a small |room. In the room, there is a Storage Log sitting on top of the desk. Take |it. While you're rummaging through the room, the rest of the team should be |alert for any soldiers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just outside the room is the entire underground facility. Before exiting the room, take out two soldiers - one on the left and one on the right. Quickly exit with the entire team, weapons free, and stay on the raised grated platform until you clear out the three soldiers below you. Once the room is clear, go down the stairs, then up the ramp into the room with the forklift. This room houses two stashes of Chemical Weapons. Be cautious: soldiers could be waiting for you behind the crates. Don't run and gun. Instead, peek around the crates to take them out. --------------------- Primary Objective: Mark Chemical Weapons --------------------- As you enter the large area, one chemical-weapon stash is directly in front of you, sitting in the center of the room on the ground. The other stash is directly north of your position in the adjacent room on the ground against the far wall. First, place a marker on the Chemical Weapons nearest to you. Now proceed to the adjacent room. Careful, there is one soldier behind the crates to the right and three guards positioned near the Chemical Weapons, which is at the distant end of the room. Take them all out. Place the second marker on the Chemical Weapons. Now turnaround and proceed south, toward LIMA. Before entering either doorway in front of you - both rooms lead to the same hallway - there are three soldiers waiting in the room to the right. Peek around a crate and pick them off one at a time. Just past LIMA, start moving cautiously through the hallway. You might run into a soldier. At the end of the hallway, you'll see the last of the chemical canisters on the ground. Before you reach the chemical canisters, you pass by the facility's back entrance. Peek around the outside to make sure there aren't any roaming guards that can see you. If it's clear, proceed to the place you put the last marker on the Chemical Weapons. ----------------------- Primary Objective: Secure Storage Facility ----------------------- Now all you need to do is secure the Storage Facility. Backtrack toward LIMA, until you're back inside the underground storage area. Sweep the area and peek around crates for strugglers. Once everyone is eliminated, you're done with the mission. ================================================================================ Mission 6: Highwire [06HIG] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- Paramilitaries have broken a river village once held by the rebel forces. The rebels say that the village is the focal point of a paramilitary operation. And according to intelligence reports, VANDAL and the rebel chief - callsign BADGER - are being held captive here by one of the paramilitary leaders. Rescue VANDAL and BADGER. Also, take out the paramilitary leader on-site - callsign MONGOOSE. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- This is an area where being a sniper can be crucial to completing your mission objectives. Arm yourself with the SR-25, attaching a 12x scope and suppressor. Equip a 226, which is perfect for close range, as your secondary weapon. Since you are taking on the roll of the sniper, arm our team with either the M4A1 or M8 with a 4x scope and a suppressor. Have everyone get into the RST-V. Drive west on the dirt road. At the first tree on the road, stop and try out the sensor capabilities of the RST-V. Nothing beats your own set of eyes, however, so get out of the truck, go prone, and then crawl to the edge of the cliff. The Terrace Farms are below you. Within the vicinity, at about 90m, is one walking sentry. A head shot takes care of him. Get back into the truck and continue shortly down the road. Just over the bend, stop and get out. Before entering the terrace area, look directly south above the rooftops. Dispose of the single soldier walking the fields. Now it's time to clear out the area. Order your team to FIRE AT WILL. -------------------- Secondary Objective: Secure Terrace Farms -------------------- Move in stealth-like down into the area, veering right along the nearest farm- house. Head quietly southwest to the next farmhouse. Once at the farmhouse, walk south along the wall until you reach the corner. From this position, turn to the east and look into the window of the farmhouse across the way. Take out the two soldiers standing next to the window. Be careful, BADGER is being held captive in there. The Terrace Farms is now secured. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Badger ------------------ Once the two soldiers are eliminated, go to the farmhouse and restrain BADGER, then leave him. He'll be safe for a later pickup by your comrades. Enter the house and have your team follow you southwest downhill to the river below. Cross over the river to the other side and take the rock path toward ECHO. Make sure to identify your targets before you shoot as there are rebel groups in the area. One of the rebels tells you that an American is being held to the village ahead. As you enter the village, proceed quietly to the nearest building in front of you. MONGOOSE may be in this house. Have the entire team stop at the entrance while you go prone and inch your way to the top of the path. Take out two guards on the bridge to the west. Then turn toward the southwest and take out the two guards on the other side of the bridge. Finally, take out the lone soldier standing outside on the deck of the house across the ravine. ------------------- Primary Objective: Neutralize Mongoose ------------------- MONGOOSE randomly spawns in one of the houses. No one is on the first floor. Once you reach the second floor, you hear MONGOOSE talking. After he's done talking, order your team to FIRE AT WILL, then quickly move into the room and neutralize MONGOOSE. Now exit the house where you entered. Move around the house and head slowly toward the road. There's a lone soldier walking the paved road ahead. Take him out. Now turn right and face west. Just before the bridge, take out the soldier standing outside. Also, stop and look at the first house directly across the bridge. This is VANDAL's house. On the second floor outside of the house ot the left is a soldier standing guard. Terminate him. You may see another guard standing in the doorway on the top floor. If so, take him out, as well. On the first floor, a guard is pacing back and forth. Take him out if you're confident that you have the shot, then proceed along the bridge slowly. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Vandal ------------------ Move forward along the road, following it until it turns left. At the bend, go up to the path that leads directly into the house. Move slowly. As you enter, set your sights on the adjacent room. If there is no one in there, proceed upstairs. As you move up, keep your sites above you - if you didn't snipe him, a soldier is standing right at the window on the second floor. In the connecting room there are two soldiers and VANDAL. Take the soldiers by surprise and secure VANDAL. Restrain VANDAL and leave him there. -------------------- Secondary Objective: Secure Village -------------------- Now it's time to secure the Village. From the second floor of the house, go outside on to the rood. You'll have an unobstructed view of the houses across the river as well as the other bridge. Go prone on the deck and have everyone open fire on anyone in their sights. About four to five hostiles remain on the other side of the river, as well as two to three soldiers along the bridge to the south. Once you're done, move south through the village but remain on the rooftops as you'll have the advantage over the one or two stragglers on the street in this area. Once you reach the bridge, cross over it and sweep the other side of the village through the streets as you should have already taken out all the targets perched above. You should end up at the house where you took out the MONGOOSE. At the far north end of the village, take the narrow path through the mountain. The start of the path is marked with one lone tree. You need to climb up to higher ridge levels several times. Check your fire because you'll meet up with more rebels on the path. At the end of the path, climb down to the paved road. Turn right and follow the road until you see the airfield in the distance. Go prone and scope out what's in front of you. There are two soldiers to the left next to the machine gun. Once you take care of the two baddies, proceed to the entrance of the airfield. Stay as silent as possible. Advance on the huge hanger in front of you. There is one guard inside. Go FIRE AT WILL, and take him out. Just outside the hanger doors is another soldier standing on the airstrip. He should be set up for a head shot. Exit through the large hanger door and turn right. Ahead and on the left is the Control Tower. A small shed stands to the right of the airstrip. You can snipe the two guards inside the shed through the window and doorway. Now turn to the tower and take out the shooter on the balcony. ------------------ Bonus Objective: Demo Control Tower ------------------ Run straight to the shed and take cover behind it. Around the corner at the end of the airstrip is a soldier. Fire at will. Leave Bravo at the shed, and run across to the Control Tower. Plant a satchel on the wall closest to the landing strip of Control Tower. Destroying the Control Tower is a great lesson for the paramilitaries to not fool with the Americans. Reward ------ MONGOOSE is easier to kill/capture. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Airstrip ------------------ Over the landing strip to the left of the shed, is a sacred soldier manning a machine gun. He has no idea you're behind him. Take him out and you've secured the entire Airstrip Mission over. ================================================================================ Mission 7: Disruption [06DIS] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- The paramilitaries are receiving funding and training from a little-known group. Infiltrate the mercenary training camp, gather any available intel, destroy all their weapons and equipment, and capture one of the mercenaries for interrogation. When you're through, the training camp should look like it never existed. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- Pack any weapons as long as the have suppressors as this mission is vital for you to stay silent. Be sure to equip yourself with a Flashbang for later on, as well as an AT-4. At the beginning of the mission, go prone and hold position. Wait until the two-man patrol on the bridge straight ahead is walking away from you. Cross over the road and inch your way north through the bushes toward CHARLIE point. Once you're below the tower, turn right and start following the stream under the bridge. Ahead is a single soldier. Take him out quietly, then continue following the water. If you're not concerned about the secondary objective of moving silently to the training camp, then from the stream take the path up to the tower. Dispose of all the soldier, and proceed down the road until you come to the bridge. Take out any enemies you see. Man one of the machine guns and wait for the Troop Transport to come. Have your entire team take out the transport as soon as it is in your sights. ----------------------- Bonus Objective: Destory Troop Transport ------------------------ If the secondary objective is important to you, follow the stream curves to the left until there is another soldier standing guard to your right. Dispose of him with a head shot. Continue walking in the water as it is shaded by the surrounding cliffs. As soon as you go under the wood bridge, you'll notice a soldier on the left bank ahead. Take him out. Remain in position as his buddy guarding the right bank may run over to see what happened. If he does, show him the same fate. Otherwise, proceed slowly down the water and set your sights on the right bank for the other soldier. Continue moving in the stream until it empties into the lake. Turn right and head southeast along the lake's edge. The training camp is just above you on the right. Remember to move quietly and to use bushes and shade for cover. Just past the first embankment, have your trigger ready for a soldier walking towards you around the bend. Get off your shot first. Reward ------ Mercenaries and vehicles do not appear in construction lot. ------------------------ Primary Objective: Infiltrate Training Camp ------------------------ Continue around the same bend, and then follow the brush up the embankment toward FOXTROT. At FOXTROT, open the door, which leads to the backside of the training camp. This consequently completes a secondary objective, which is "Maintain Stealth Into Training Camp." Once your entire team is inside the training camp, make sure to close the door behind you as open doors raise suspicion from the walking patrols. As you enter the camp, move left and hug the building in front of you. Peek around the corner, there may be one or two soldiers in the vicinity. Set your team to FIRE AT WILL. Have BRAVO cover the camp while you clean out the structure next to your present location. ------------------ Primary Objective: Obtain Arms Intel ------------------ The Arms Deal papers are a random objective. They may appear in either the two outer buildings or inside the tower in the camp. Continue sweeping the camp by moving east with the entire team. Don't demo the Arms Supplies yet. Use it, instead, as cover. Have BRAVO cover the main building while you and Jester clean out the guard structure next to the Arms Supplies. Inside the guard building pull the gate lever to close the camp's gates. This ensures that any enemies outside won't come into the camp and attack you, especially later when you make your escape. ----------------------- Primary Objective: Demo Arms Deal Supplies ----------------------- Order BRAVO team to your position at the guard house. Once there, have everyone set their sights on the main building while you demo the weapons shipment next to you. ------------------ Primary Objective: Capture Mercenary ------------------ Proceed with the team to the main camp building. As you enter, watch out for at least one soldier standing next to the tables at the other end of the room. Take him out, then proceed up the stairs. At the top of the stairwell is the Mercenary you need to capture along with one of his comrades. You can't swarm the room or else you might inadvertently kill the target. Instead, toss a flashbang into the room by throwing it against the wall and let it ricochet deep into the room. As soon as the flashbang goes off, enter the room quickly. Take care of the gun-toting soldier, then rifle butt the Mercenary until he drops his weapon and gives up. ------------------ Primary Objective: Obtain Laptop ------------------ Collect the laptop, which is sitting on top of the table in the same room. Now move to extraction with your hostage. But before going back downstairs, look outside on the roof of the guard house. If there's a sniper, take him out. Order the Mercenary to FOLLOW, then proceed down the stairs and exit the same way you entered. Run across to the camp's wall where the arms supply once sat, and follow the wall to the back entrance of the camp where you originally came from. ------------------------- Primary Objective: Move Mercenary to Extract ------------------------- Before leaving the camp, scan right from the doorway. There's probably a soldier running toward you. Take him out. Double-time it to the extraction zone, which is along the water. The helicopter picks you up once everyone is there. Mission finished. If you failed to maintain stealth you must use the Alt Extraction Point where the road forks. ================================================================================ Mission 8: Bombshell [08BOM] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- The paramilitaries are moving large shipments of weapons and equipment by train. The train's destination is an industrial wharf on the western border of Adjikistan where it appears that the paramilitaries are in the midst of an immense project. Make your way to the loading area and construction site, investigate the shipment, and destroy any weapons and equipment you find. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- What may seem at first as a routine mission that requires little heavy firepower turns into a firefight at the end where an AT-4 will be your best friend. Don't forget to have your team pack it. At the start, climb out of water and up onto the wharf. Hold position - there is a sentry patrolling above you. As soon as he is in range, take him out. Proceed east up the wood plank. Move to the right of the building ahead. Don't worry; no one is inside the warehouse. Take the small path in between the warehouses to the railroad tracks. It's time to go FIRE AT WILL for the entire team. Once you reach the railroad track, move toward the train in front of you. Stop at the end of the caboose and look to the right. In the distance is a lone soldier. Take him out. Now climb up on to the raised platform on the left of the train and walk slowly north. Stop past the slightly-opened gate of the warehouse. Just behind the next opening are three soldiers talking. If you wait and listen to their conversation, you'll know that there's an underground network of tunnels underneath the dock that you can use to get to the construction site. Once the soldiers are done speaking, peek around the corner and take them all out. Be careful, there are two more soldiers in this warehouse. If they hear gunshots, they'll come to you so hold your ground. ---------------- Bonus Objective: Obtain Schedule ---------------- Now sweep the warehouse. Proceed to the far west side of the warehouse where there are five small rooms. Clear each room. In one of the rooms, you find the shipping schedule. Once you have it, make your way back to the other side of the warehouse. Reward ------ Less enemies inside freighter in Sea Wasp. Location of chemical weapons marked in Blindside. -------------------------- Primary Objective: Investigate Train Shipment -------------------------- Climb over one of the train connectors to DELTA, where the equipment has been unloaded. There are two guards stationed here. They may seek cover behind their equipment - show them how peeking around crates helps them get shot. Once at DELTA, you begin to suspect the paramilitaries are building something big. -------------------- Secondary Objective: Neutralize Snipers -------------------- Head back over the train tracks to the corner of the warehouse. Climb up the outside stairs. In front of you, positioned on top of the crane, is the first of three snipers. Target and eliminate. At the top of the stairs, move to where the sniper once sat. Look northwest of your position, spot and take out the second sniper who is on top of the warehouse across the way. The third sniper is in that area. Deadly precision. Remain on top of the crane and take out the three or four enemies below. You can also order BRAVO team to sweep the area while you and Jester cover them from above. Once you're done eliminating the threats, move back down the stairs, weak your way around the warehouse, then proceed back to where you first started your mission. Get into the water and swim to ECHO, the underground tunnel. Proceed through the tunnel toward JULIET. At the end of the tunnel, climb up the ladder. You're now near the construction site. Head east but remain in the broken down structure for cover. To the right as you move close to KILO are two guards just standing around. Take them out. Now head toward KILO point through the open area. There's a solider walking in the area. Introduce him to your gun. Walk east along the building. Take out the soldier to your right hiding behind the broken wall. There is also a soldier ahead of you at the corner of your building. Around the corner, there are at least two sentries near the bulldozer. With your Fireteam, FIRE AT WILL. Your enemies don't have a chance! ------------------------ Primary Objective: Investigate Construction ------------------------ Proceed along the building to the next corner. Hide behind the open door of the crate sitting in front of you. Peer around the corner and look toward INDIA. There's one soldier by the other shipping crate and two more sentries further back. This is also the heart of the construction site. Clear the outside of the facility before you move on. Proceed north across the open area toward three mobile stations. But before you get there, an armored carrier will meet you. Dispose of it quickly with an AT-4 rocket. If you destroyed this vehicle in Disruption, it does not appear. |Crosstalk Objective | |Once you're on the other side of the construction site, search the three |mobile centers. Inside one of them is the Uranium intel. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Retreat back to the facility directly south of your position. Enter the building and proceed toward the stairs. At the top of the stairs is a soldier - you know what to do. Go up the stairs to the second floor. At the top of the floor are four rooms. have BRAVO HOLD POSITION and cover the hallway. There are at least three soldiers up there, on in three of four rooms. If any of them come out, BRAVO can take care of it. Take Jester and enter the first room on your left. Take out the lone solider inside. Now look over the balcony and snipe anyone below you. Turn around and proceed up the ladder to the roof. On the rooftop, play hide-and-go seek with the five soldiers guarding the area. You have night vision, they don't. Clearing the roof now guarantees that it won't be fill of hostiles later on in the mission - and you'll definitely need it cleared by the end of the mission. ------------------ Primary Objective: Search for Intel ------------------ Once the road is clear, go back down the same ladder you came up. Exit the same ladder you came up. Exit the room and sweep the four rooms along the hallway. In one of the rooms or in the hallway perpendicular to the four rooms is a blueprint of the building. It appears to be the start of a nuclear weapons program. New orders: blow up this facility. ------------------ Primary Objective: Plant Satchels ------------------ Head back down the stairs, and enter the first floor of the facility. Sweep the area of any tangos, then place satchel at WHISKEY. Continue to the adjacent room and put a satchel at X-RAY point. It's time for a quick extraction. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Rooftop ------------------ Go back upstairs to meet your helicopter. Once you are on the roof, however, you need to destroy the enemy chopper that is ordered to take you out. Use the AT-4 and destroy the chopper before it gets off a single round. once the helicopter is destroyed, head for YANKEE on the top of the roof to extract. ================================================================================ Mission 9: Sea Wasp [09SEA] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- The paramilitaries are using a freighter - the Sea Wasp - to ship supplies, weapons, and even civilian captives to their bases in the area. The freighter has just arrived at an industrial wharf whithin the last hour. Sweep the warehouses along the wharf, securing any hostages held by the paramilitaries on your way to the freighter. When you reach the freighter, search it for any intel that might help us track previous shipping routes before you scuttle the ship. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- Give a shotgun to a teammate, and assault rifles with suppressors for the two other teammates, and give yourself a nice suppressed sniper rifle. Also, be sure to bring a Flashbang and an m67 or two. From where you start, head southeast and exit the warehouse door. Turn left toward DELTA. It should be hoted, hostages are randomly placed. Go FIRE AT WILL, open the side door, and rush in fast. As you enter, a hostage is kneeling on your left with two soldiers guarding him. If the enemy got shots off, two more soldiers come to investigate from the right. Once the immediate area is clear, restrain the hostage. Before moving through the warehouse, peek around the corner. Above, on the raised grated platform to the right, is a snipe. Take him out. Now move along the north side of the warehouse with your team Behind the crates is another hostage guarded by at least one soldier. Surprise the soldier and restrain the hostage. There should be one more straggler in the warehouse. Take him out. The warehouse is now completely secured. Exit the warehouse door on the south side. Go straight and head for the next warehouse, ECHO point. Follow the railroad tracks on your left until you reach the side of the warehouse. Take out the four snipers up above on the second-floor platform. Each of them is positioned on different sides of the warehouse, but is unaware of where you are. Once everyone above you is terminated, proceed west through the warehouse to the other side. On the west side of the warehouse are five small rooms. In two of the rooms is a hostage guarded by one or two soldiers. Clear the rooms and restrain both hostages. Exit the warehouse on the south side where the forklift is sitting. Across from you, outside, are two guards. Take them out. Move slowly toward the lowered platform and take the lone sentry below. ---------------------------------- Primary Objective: Secure Warehouse / Secure Hostages ---------------------------------- Turn left and proceed to the entrance of the next warehouse, FOXTROT point. Rush in and take care of the two soldiers guarding the last hostage. All three warehouses are now secured. Restrain the last hostage, then exit the warehouse. Head to the large warehouse, INDIA point. Enter the warehouse and proceed quietly down the hallway. Inside the next room are four well-armed soldiers. Open the door and throw in a grenade to quicken their demise at once. Exit the room through the other door, go down the short hallawy, and enter the storage area of the large warehouse. Move to the left of the crates in front of you. Peek around the creates and take out the lone soldier. Have BRAVO HOLD POSITION and cover the freighter outside. Now take Jester with you up the ladder on the north side of the warehouse to the roof. On the roof, you have a perfect view of the entire freighter. You can clean off six to seven paramilitaries on the deck of the ship with a good rifle and scope... hmmm. As you're eliminating targets, be sure not to shoot the captain of the boat. He may wander outside of the deck to see all the commotion. Leave him be - you want to secure him later. Once you've cleared the topside of the ship, head back down to BRAVO, check for any soldier on the wharf and proceed up the plank on to the ship. Have BRAVO remain top side to meet any soldier, while you and Jester investigate the freighter. Enter the ship through the door at the front of the boat. Down the stairs in front of you, plant the first satchel next to the wheel. Turn right and proceed deeper into the ship. --------------------- Primary Objective: Investigate Freighter --------------------- Take care of the soldier standing down the next flight of stairs. Proceed straight at the first corridor on the right, enter the room and investigate the cargo. ------------------ Primary Objective: Place Satchels ------------------ From the cargo hold, enter the east doorway, then from that room enter the next door. As soon as you enter the turbine room, LIMA point, eliminate the two guards inside. Place the last satchel in between the two cylinders. Exit the south door, turn left and head down the hall. Make another left; there should be a stairwell that leads up. Go up the stairs. Stay frosty, there is often another soldier to the right on the stairwell. In the next room, if the Nautical Charts are here (they can appear in several places throughout the ship) don't grab them just yet. Proceed up the next flight of stairs and follow the corridor around until you reach another flight of stairs. Two flights up is the ship's bridge. ------------------------- Bonus Objective: Capture Freighter Captain ------------------------- Enter the bridge and clear out any tangos. The Captain surrenders and proceeds to sing like a bird - restrain him and leave the bridge. Reward ------ Additional navigation points mark out key locations and/or enemy strongpoints. ---------------------- Primary Objective: Obtain Nautical Charts ---------------------- Go back down the flight of stairs from where you originally came and obtain the Nautical Charts. Once you grab the charts, the mission is over. ================================================================================ Mission 10: Blindside [10BLI] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- Several armed convoys have been spotted leaving an ancient temple where we believe weapons and supplies are being stored. The convoys then follow an ancient Chinese trade route through the mountains. You need to disrupt this trade route permanently. Ambush the convoy of enemy vehicles moving through the gorge. You also need to infiltrate the temple and destroy any weapon components you find. The paramilitaries may be holding civilian captives. Be sure to secure any hostages you find. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- Recommended weapons: high-powered assault rifles, a shotgun, grenades and multiple AT-4's. From where you deploy, take either path down to the village, CHARLIE point. Cross over the river to the right of the fallen dead tree. The path curves around and puts you at the south end of the village. Peek around the rock and you'll see the last armored car of the three-vehicle Convoy. Hit it with an AT-4. Immediately have everyone go FIRE AT WILL and run behind the Convoy across the road to the other side of the village. As you cross over the road, the house closest to you has two soldiers. You should be able to see them from the outside through the doorway. Take care of them and continue running. Double-time it northwest, parallel with the Convoy until you get to the last house on the row. Peek around the corner and take out the gunner sitting on top of the aromored car in the front of the Convoy. ------------------ Primary Objective: Destroy Convoy ------------------ Destroy the truck in the middle of the Convoy with an AT-4 and, before they reach your position, demolish the last vehicle in the Convoy. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Plateau ------------------ Hold your position and eliminate the rest of the threats advancing from across the street. There are two soldiers in the house directly in front of you, and one soldier undercover in the structure to the right of the house. Once they are all dead, you've cleared the plateau. -------------------- Secondary Objective: Demo North Bridge -------------------- Take the team to the North Bridge, just on the outskirt of the village. Don't cross it - just plant the satchel and retreat from where you came. Once the entire team is out of range the satchel explodes, demolishing the bridge before detection keeps the convoy trapped, allowing it to be destroyed in place. Now head up the trail across the river from where you first started the mission and proceed to ECHO. Once past ECHO, walk slowly through the ancient ruins toward FOXTROT. Just past the old column walks a single guard. Take care of him. Continue forward, making a left at the second column. Dispatch the guard standing ahead of you. Follow the path until you see it turn narrow and is lined with stone walls on either side. Make a hard u-turn right at this point and follow the path to the upper part of the old temple. ---------------------- Bonus Objective: Destroy Communications ----------------------- Walk slowly along the ridge toward JULIET and listen for radio static. Go into the fourth entranceway on the right and destroy the radio. Careful, there's a guard inside, but you can easily send him to the afterlife with a knife attack from behind. Reward ------ Enemy starting locations and patrol routes are changed in Bombshell and Sea Wasp. Enemies are not equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and equipment in Dragonfly. Now continue to JULIET, and once there, turn left to look over the edge. A house sits below you. Set your sites on the door and order your team to BREACH AND CLEAR. As soon as they're inside, run left down the path to join them. On your way, take care of the soldier that came around the house to help his comrades. Join your team inside the house to finish off the job. As you enter, turn right and clear the room in front of you. There is at least one soldier inside, plus two more that may have already entered using the entryway on the other side of the room. |Crosstalk Objective | |Once the first floor is clear, proceed upstairs slowly. There may be another |guard waiting for you. There is also a hostage upstairs. Restrain him, leave |him there, then exit the house at the same place you entered. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Upon exiting the house, turn left and head up the path to the bottom level of the temple. Enter the first doorway on the left. Follow the hallway and, at at first junction, make a left. Continue on the path until you see an intersection marked by a lit hanging lantern. Peek around the corner to the right toward ROMEO point and take out the lone soldier. At the next junction, about 40m away from ROMEO, turn left. ---------------------- Primary Objective: Demo Weapon Components ---------------------- Just around the corner to the right is the stash of Weapon Components as well as two to three guards. Peek around the corner and take out all the soldiers. Once the area is clear, go in and place the explosive on the Weapon Components. Double time it out of the temple - the mission is over once you hear a boom. ================================================================================ Mission 11: Dragonfly [11DRA] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- The paramilitaries have converted an ancient ruined temple into an attack helicopter base. From here, they have launched several raids against rebel- held areas. Systematically destroy the base to cripple the paramilitaries' air offense. Be aware that Fireteam Bravo is conducting an operation at the base of a dam to the north. Stay alert for any threats that may be headed their way. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- Make sure each member of your team is equipped with an AT-4 for this mission. You are going to fave two attack helicopters and a gunboat among the throngs of gun-toting paramilitaries. It also wouldn't hurt to be equipped with some high-powered assault rifles and a HE grenade or two. At the start of the mission, head directly west from your position down the embankment, through the river, and up the path that goes into the temple. ------------------------ Bonus Objective: Destroy Ka-50 Helicopter ------------------------ With the ancient ruins in front of you, you should see FOXTROT as well as a guard further back. Take him out. As soon as weapons are discharged, an enemy attack helicopter is launched. Bring that bird down. Reward ------ KA-50 helicopter is not present in the Stormcloud mission Just past the old arch, veer left and go up the hill. You're in the heart of the temple with the fuel dump sitting right in front of you. The fuel dump is guarded by at least three soldiers. Hit them fast, then move forward and take the stairs to your right - you want to be on higher ground as more soldiers are coming out of the temple from the southwest and northwest area. ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo Fuel Dump ------------------ Your team should have tagged at least eight soldiers before it becomes calm again. Plant the satchel at the fuel dump. Continue north until you meet stairs that go up to an ancient alter. Take the stairs all the way up and turn right. ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo Radar Station ------------------ Just beyond is the Radar Station. Move slowly toward the radar installment. Climb on top of one of the stone slabs and go prone, inching toward the target. Take out the three-man squad guarding the Radar Station. Once the area is cleared, place a satchel on the Radar Station. |Crosstalk Objective | |As soon as the Radar Station explodes, an enemy helicopter is launched and |heads toward Fireteam Bravo's location. Head south back to the courtyard, but |remain on higher ground. You should see the helicopter come over you from |your south. Snuff it as soon as it is in range. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pick off any soldiers across the courtyard you can see, especially those near the weapons cache southwest of your location. Before proceeding to the weapons cache, ambush the patrol boat that is circling the temple. Set up your team behind ample cover and attack with full force as the boat comes into range. From the alter, head directly south across the courtyard. Once you reach the other side of the courtyard, go up the stairs - you're on high ground again, turn to the west and head toward the weapons cache. Make your way through the ruins until you get to a four-columned pedestal-like structure. Just past and underneath it is the weapons cache guarded by three soldiers. Toss a grenade and ambush them from your superior position. They won't know what hit them! ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo Weapons Cache ------------------ Once it's clear, place the last satchel at the weapons cache. Clear the area before the weapons cache goes up in flames. You've now successfully crippled the helicopter base. Mission over. ================================================================================ Mission 12: Stormcloud [12STO] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- The rebel village you liberated is under attack from a mix of mercenary and paramilitary units. They have already taken the airstrip and are using the nearby docks to prepare for a major assualt on the village. We do not have time to establish a strong village defense - with mercenaries and paramilitaries combining forces, the enemy is too strong. It's inevitable: The rebels are going to lose the village. If you can slow down the enemy down the enemy, advance into the village and re-take the docks, we might buy time for the rebels to safely evacuate the village. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- Pack some HE grenades, assault rifles (sileneced or not) and at least one AT-4 or M3. Be sure to have a decent scope on your rifle. Upon deployment, go past the roadblocks and turn right to face the South Bridge. Just before crossing the South Bridge, man the grenade launcher in the middle of the street. Lob a few grenades on to the other side of the bridge. ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo South Bridge ------------------ Proceed over the bridge. In the middle, place a satchel on the ground and continue on to the other side. The bridge explodes once your team has cleared the area. Have your guns ready; there are multiple soldiers waiting in ambush. Two to three enemies are to the left, and a three-man squad waits behind the rocks to the right. Rush the group on your left, then take cover and hit the other squad. Walk up the path that goes through the village. Turn right at the spli and have BRAVO hold position at the base of the corner house. They should be covering the road ahead while you go inside the house. ------------------ Priamry Objective: Demo SAM Shipment ------------------ Go up the stairs and enter the house. Proceed up the flight of stairs inside and clear our the room above. In the room is the SAM Shipment. Place a satchel next to it and exit the house through the same way you entered. Take the team and head east woard the North Bridge. Move along the road that skirts the outside of the village. There are two soldiers near a big tree. Dispose of them. Just past the three, have your team hold position while you move slowly around the rock to face the tank guarding the North Bridge. ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo North Bridge ------------------ Pull out you AT-4 or M3 and bust up the tank. Once the armor has been incapacitated, take the whole team with you to demo the North Bridge. As you start crossing the bridge, four to five soldiers will be firing at you from the North part of the village and at least two soldiers on the south. Place the satchel in the middle of the brdige while your team covers you. |Crosstalk Objective | |Head for the north part of the village. Walk up the path and sweep and clear |the streets as you head to the house farthest north and on your left. Inside |the house is NIGHTOWL's sister who is being held by two soldiers. BREACH AND |CLEAR the house to rescue her. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once you secure the siser, leave ehr in the house and head back down to the road. Turn left and walk toward ECHO. It's time to help your allies. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Echo Point ------------------ Just ahead, at ECHO point, are tangos occupying the dilapidated structure above on your left. You can safely take out the four soldiers and secure ECHO. Once you've cleared the first area, proceed along the road. Just after the roadblock at ECHO point, make a hard right and take the dirt road up toward JULIET point. As you approach JULIET, you'll see rebel fighters taking a pounding from a tank. ------------------- Primary Objective: Secure Juliet Point ------------------- Close to the tank are two soldiers firing away at the rebels. From your position behind the rebel fighters, scope out the soldiers and take them out. JULIET point is secure, except for the tank. Don't approach it - you'll have the chance to take down the tank a little later. -------------------- Primary Objective: Secure Foxtrot Point -------------------- For now, turn right on the path and head west to INDIA point. At the river, turn left, then follow the path along the water's edge. FOXTROT point is just over the hump with rebel fighters to the right exchanging gunfire with two soldiers on your left. Help your allies out and dispose of the two soldiers. The road to the docks is now secure. ---------------- Bonus Objective: Destroy Armor ---------------- Continue moving forward on your original path, it curves and heads east. Once you reach VICTOR point, you ahve a great view of that tank at JULIET point. Order your team to take it out. Reward ------ Enemies are not equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and equipment. Now backtrack on the path to FOXTROT and cross over the river to the path that leads to the docks. Follow it all the way down toward LIMA point. Just past LIMA, look for the small opening between the rocks on your left. Head through the opening into the water and swim across to the other slide. Climb up to where the lone tree stands. As you get out, be cautious of any soldier standing across the road. Don't kill him yet - he won't see you as you are camouflaged by the brush surrounding the tree. Once your entire team is safely across the river with you, it's time to clear out the docks. As soon as you take out the guy across the street, another soldier down the road wants to get in on the action. Don't let him. It is also a good idea to lob a grenade ip into the shacks in case there are soldiers hiding among them. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Docks ------------------ Proceed slowly through the bushes toward the dock area. Pick off the three soldiers coming out the structure northeast of your position. Soldiers also advance on you from the water so turn around toward the waters, as well. Once all the soldiers are neutralized, the docks are secured and the mission is over. ================================================================================ Mission 13: Chokehold [13CHO] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- President Karim was behind the paramilitaries the entire time. According to UNDERWOOD, the rebel-held areas contain vast deposits of oil and natural gas. Hoping to solidify his power in the world, Karim wants these deposits for himself and is using the paramilitaries to secretly exterminate any and all opposition. UNDERWOOD also has information on an abandoned stadium that Karim and the paramilitaries have supposedly turned into an internment camp. Infiltrate the stadium and surrounding buildings and disrupt the enemy operation with extreme prejudice. The paramilitary leader - callsign GOLDBUG - is also on site and you are authorized to use whatever force necessary to neutralize him. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- It would be a good idea to pack some high-powered assault rifles and some m67 grenades as almost all the combat in the mission will be close quarters, except for a sniping-capade you will need to do towards the end of the mission, so be sure to equip yourself with a decent scope. An At-4 would be handy to have as well. From your current position, head west down the street toward CHARLIE point. Stay in the shadows by hugging the buildings on your right. At about 65m from CHARLIE, look to your left toward the stadium entrance. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Streets ------------------ There are at least three guards keeping an eye on the street. Take them out to secure the street. Take them out to secure the streets. Proceed forward and use the broken down car as cover. Just beyond you at CHARLIE is the entrance to the Brickworks. If enemy gunfire was heard, two soldiers come out of the building to attack you. ---------------------- Bonus Objective: Destroy Communications ----------------------- Before entering the Brickworks, move to the stadium entrance just past the turret guns. Inside, on the floor, disable the radio sitting on top of the table. Now go back outside and enter the Brickworks building. Reward ------ Later in this mission, you get more time to disable the gas pumps before they are activated. ---------------------------------------- Primary Objective: Infiltrate Brickworks / Destroy Furnaces ---------------------------------------- The first room of the Brickworks is clear. Proceed to the doorway that leads to the next room. In it is a lone guard standing next to the makeshift crematory. At this point you'll be given an additional objective: Destroy the furnaces. Place a C4 charge on the furnaces and get clear out of the area. |Crosstalk Objective | |Once the furnaced are destroyed, you get a radio communication from Fireteam |Bravo. Once you're done chatting, take the path up to the roof from the |furnace room. On the roof are two soldiers standing guard next to a Fuel |Cache. Take out the guards and place a C4 charge on the Fuel Cache. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ Primary Objective: Infiltrate Garage ------------------ Exit the Brickworks and head back down the street to where you originally started. Head across the street and enter the north doorway to the Garage. ------------------ Primary Objective: Secure Garage ------------------ As you enter the structure, proceed straight and take the stairs up to the second floor. Once you reach the second floor, move slowly and peek around the corner. Two guards: a grenade followed by several rounds of lead should do the trick! You've now been ordered to clear the entire garage. Once you announce your presence, watch for a soldier coming at you from the far side of the garage to the south, as well as one or two soldiers running down from the Garage's rooftop. Once you've cleared the second floor, proceed to the roof - there's at least one more soldier waiting for you. You've secured the Garage. From the roof, take the connecting walkway to the Stadium. ------------------ Primary Objective: Neutralize GOLDBUG ------------------ There are at least two soldiers and GOLDBUG guarding the other side of the walkway. The two soldiers may even come to you if you sit tight at the garage. Once you take care of the two soldiers, cross over the walkway and take out GOLDBUG. At the end of the walkway, turn right. At the corner, peek and take out the lone soldier. Now turn around and head south the other way along the Stadium. Just past the walkway, make a right and enter the stadium. At the intersection, make a left, then another immediate left to go up another level. Once you reach the top, make right at the intersection and another immediate right to reach the top level of the Stadium. In front of you is an unobstructed view of the internment camp below. Time to play sniper! Use your hopefully scoped weapon on the soldiers below, including the two turrets. Walk around the entire area of the top level to get as many angles as you can. The soldiers won't know where you are. You should be able to tag at least 12 soldiers below you. ------------------ Primary Objective: Infiltrate Stadium ------------------ Now take any path to make your way down to the encampment, taking out any stragglers. Just before you enter the camp, you'll get the official confirmation that you've infiltrated the Stadium. You're also give two new objectives: Demo the Gas Pumps and Neutralize all the Guards. ------------------ Primary Objective: Neutralize Guards ------------------ Before entering the actual camp, search the Stadium's corridors for the rest of the guards. You should have already picked off everyone inside the camp. Once you've neutralized everyone, proceed into the encampment. ------------------ Primary Objective: Demo Gas Pumps ------------------ FOXTROT point and the Gas Pumps are in the center of the Stadium. Inside the structure at FOXTROT, you'll find the Gas Pumps. Plant a C4 charge on them and watch the gas go up in glames. Mission over. ================================================================================ Mission 13: Chokehold [13CHO] ================================================================================ --------------- Mission Details --------------- The rebel allies and U.S. military have initiated a combined assault on the Adjikistani military, inflicting heavy losses. Right now the Adjikistani forces are pulling back into the capital, with hopes of luring the rebels and the U.S. military into a bloody and costly urban war. We need to preempt the assault and minimize the Adjikistani hometown advantage. Shut down the city's power and systematically destroy all Adjiki military communications and radar capabilities. Crippling the capital's infrastructure will throw the Adjikistani military into disarray and set the stage for the upcoming rebel-led assailt. ----------- Pre-Mission ----------- You're going to want to be quiet in this close-quarters night map, and stealth is of upmost importance in this mission, so pack some supressors and have a decent scope on your weapon. Also, take some M67 grenades for funzies! If you care about the bonus objective, make sure to equip yourself with a C4 Charge. Start this mission by proceeding slowly down the street toward CHARLIE point. Just past CHARLIE near the parked van stands a lone soldier. Shoot him, then keep on moving toward DELTA. At DELTA is a roaming soldier. Take him out. Just before DELTA point at the road intersection, peer around the right corner of the building. Kill the guard. Turn right at the intersection and proceed slowly toward the Communications Tower. Peer around the parked van to take out the lone soldier guarding the roadblock. Just after the roadblock, in the alley, a soldier is walking toward you. Dispatch him and move on. Proceed a few meters up the main road and peer around the next corner on your right. There's a soldier hiding in the shadows next to the stairwell. Take him out. Move up the stairs. From the balcony, you can see the street below as well as the Communications Tower ahead. Open fire on anyone you see. You should be able to eliminate at least five soldier from your position. ------------------------------------ Primary Objective: Plant Satchel at Communication Tower ------------------------------------ Now proceed to FOXTROT, the Communication Tower. On the way, clear out any stragglers. In the small-gated area, plant a Satchel inside the foundational structure of the Communications Tower. Exit the communication area and proceed north to INDIA point. Follow the narrow street until you get to the second parked car. Just ahead, at the van, is a sentry. Get rid of him Continue. Where the street turns, peek around the corner. Neutralize the lone soldier guarding the roadbloack ahead, then continue on to JULIET point. A little past JULIET around a corner on top of the bridge sits the Radar Station. Don't approach the Radar Station head on. First, eliminate the snipers that are sitting on top of the buildings to the left and right of the bridge. Take out the guard walking along the train tracks that spans over the bridge, as well as the soldier manning the machine gun at the Radar Station. Scan across the river for any guards patrolling the area, too. ------------------------------ Primary Objective: Plant Satchel at Radar Station ------------------------------ Once you've cut down the enemy force, move in to the Radar Station and take out anyone else you may have missed. Place a Satchel at the Radar Station. Now follow the railroad tracks west, to LIMA point. In the tunnel, just around the first turn is a two-man patrol. Take them out quickly and continue on to the Electrical Station. At the raised walkway is a lone soldier. Take him out. Have your team go FIRE AT WILL. Rush outside and climb the platform on your left. Take cover behind the barrels and crates. There are at least four soldiers shooting at you from the entrance of the Electrical Station. As long as you keep cover, you'll have no problem eliminating the opposition. ----------------------------------- Primary Objective: Plant Satchel at Electrical Station ----------------------------------- Once the shooting has stopped, proceed to ROMEO point - the Electrical Station. Take out and tangos hanging around. Place a Satchel at the conduits of the Electrical Station. Before going to the Extraction point, cross over all the railroad tracks. Once on the platform, turn left, then walk east past the stairs to the raised walkway until you can't go any further. Turn right, you should be in a small courtyard with a ladder sticking out from the ground. Climb down the ladder. As soon as you have both feel in the tunnel, be prepared for a shootout with two soldiers. ------------------ Bonus Objective: Demo Weapons Cache ------------------ Follow the tunnel. Plant a C4 charge on the Weapons Cache and steer clear of the explosion. Reward ------ Enemies in next three mission not equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and equipment. ------------------ Primary Objective: Move to Extract ------------------ Head back from where you entered the tunnel and resurface. The railroad tracks take you to the Extraction zone. Climb over the wall on your left.
