WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS BUT DO FEEL YOU NEED HELP, JUST READ BIT BY BIT AND
DON'T READ AHEAD.

#### 1. UDPATES ####

10/01/05 - This guide was started.
10/08/05 - A few episodes typed up, added more infomation.
10/15/05 - Typed a few more episodes.
10/22/05 - Finished the episodes. No more updates unless errors or typos are
found.

#### 2. ABOUT THE GAME ####

Power of Spirit is a basic fighting game. There's 20 stages that are called
Episodes. You fight as Yoh Asakura, the main character of Shaman King. Each
stage is harder than the last in one way or another. This game isn't too
hard but can get aggravating. Shaman King fans are recommened for this game,
as it may bore others or just confuse them because it doesn't explain much
about the show. It starts off when then the Destiny Star soars across the
sky, opening the Shaman Tournament.

You only get to play as Yoh for the main part of the game. You will get
allies throughout the game but you can't play as them, which is a downside
this game. When you beat the 20th episode for the first time, a Versus Mode
opens up. There you can play as any of the main shamans, the 5 sages, the
3 girls on Zeke's team, both Meril's, and even Zeke himself. A downside to
the versus mode is that you can't only battle against another person rather
than the computer, which means you'll need another controller to select a
second fighter.

In each episode, there are turns. Each turn has two rounds, one for your
team and second for the enemy team. You always go first. You cannot use
items until the turn is over when it gets to the enemy round, so use items
before you finish your round. To end a round, put the cursor on an empty
space, push X then select End Turn. This is how you Save Game too, just
select Save Game instead of End Turn.

You are given points at the end of each episode, these determine what items
you will recieve, so the better you do, the better the items you'll get.
Hoe many points you get is chosen by how mucy damage you take, how many turns
it takes you to win, items you use, if your allies die, if you continue after
Yoh dies or doesn't meet the episode goals, what moves you use to win, and I
think a couple other things. Experience points are given to a character when
they defeat enemies and stay alive through a whole episode, if a character
dies, then they won't recieve any points and will be weaker than the others.
Hopefully, this guide will help you keep them alive most of the time.
Sometimes, someone has to die, there is no other way to get past it. But
that's usually towards the end when it doesn't matter too much how strong they
are.

Remember, I use the characters in fights the way I see fit, I do favor others
over the rest, so I typed up how I would do it but you can use whoever you
want if they're close by. I do try to even out how many times a character
fights.

#### 3. HINTS AND EXTRA STUFF ####

In the versus mode, push Select when your cursor is on Yoh to get Zeke. Do
the same for Kanna to get Matilda, push Select twice for Marion. A key thing
to do during tough battles with the big guys is to use items on them to lower
their Strength to make the fight easier. Save Game after every turn during
tough battles, this helps to not have to battle through again. To start from
a Save Game, instead of selecting LOAD on the main screen, select CONTINUE and
it goes directly to the last Save Game you saved.

They use the dub names for the game, to make it less confusing, I'll use them
too, but for others, use this to help you out.

Horohoro is Trey. Ren is Len. Ryu is Rio. Manta is Morty. Hao is Zeke.
I don't the Force Millenium names as I've only played the English version.

#### 4. EPISODE BATTLE GUIDE ####

Key:
- Episode ?? - (the episode number)
(a bit about the episode and more about the game)

How to win: (what you have to do to win the episode)
Allies: (who you have fighting on your side for that episode)
Main bosses: (the hard/ones to beat for this episode)
Other Enemies: (the smaller/less tough enemies)

(description for how to beat the episode [the way I beat it] turn by turn,
round by round)

Real guide:

- Episode 01 -
This first episode is basically to get the feel of the game. It may be kind
of tough for beginners ogf gaming, new people to the game, or people who
aren't an expert like at new games. Silva will tell you how the game works,
so read what he says and do the practice if you haven't played the game.

How to win: Defeat Silva
Allies: None
Main bosses: Silva
Other Enemies: None

*Turn 1*
Your round:
Move Yoh up and battle Silva. He may be difficult for beginners. Use the
weak attack is best because it's fast, so use it before he can attack.
Enemy round:
Silva challenges you at half strength after telling you about Spirit Control.
Spirit Control is better and stronger, so use this when there's a tough enemy.

- Episode 02 -
The game follows with the manga more than the anime. Yoh meets Trey for the
first time in the battle. I get a kick out of the silly conversations
between fights. Some are important to read so are just to learn things that
you may already know. It's your choice to read them or not.

How to win: Defeat Trey
Allies: None
Main bosses: Trey
Other Enemies: None

*Turn 1*
Your round:
Battle Trey. Keep hitting him, don't let him attack too much if you can. At
half strength, he stops the battle and heals up. You can too if you've taken
a lot of damage (more than half). But if not, don't bother.
Enemy round: This is when Try heals himself.
*Turn 2*
Your round:
Move Yoh up and battle Trey again, it's the same as last time. I had an
easier time, using Celestrial Slash on him helps. He uses his Ice Quake at
times too, block when he does if you can.

- Episode 03 -
Since Yoh loses when he fights Faust, it doesn't matter if you win or lose.
But if you win, you gain experience points.

How to win: Win or lose
Allies: None
Main bosses: Faust and Eliza
Other Enemies: Skeletons

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Yoh up and battle the 2 skeletons. These are weak and are
easily defeated within a few hits. Enemies like this can get annoying.
Enemy round: The other skeletons just move down to Yoh.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Yoh up to the last group of skeletons and battle them. Since
there are, they could gang up on you but are easy to beat with them together.
Enemy round:
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move up to Faust and Eliza. These two can get the best of you but
aren't too tough. Try to get the two apart and attack one at a time.
Remember, if you lose at any time, it doesn't matter. You just won't level
up this episode.

- Episode 04 -
This one is back to being a small field like the first two.

How to win: Defeat Len
Allies: None
Main bosses: Len
Other Enemies: None

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Yoh up and battle Len. He's no harder then any of the others
so far, so it shouldn't be hard. Just keep hitting him, he hits hard so don't
let him get a lot of hits in.

- Episode 05 -
This battle has two rounds, but the turns are connected since it's in the same
episode. Werewolf is considered a weak enemy as more of him show up later on.
You could fight Marion and Matilda, but you'll need to use items to heal up.
You'll be stronger but it really doesn't matter.

How to win: Defeat Kanna then Werewolf
Allies: Meril, Rio (in second round)
Main bosses: Kanna, Marion, Matilda
Other Enemies: Werewolf, homunculi

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Yoh and Meril up the statue to the right as you can but make
sure they're close together.
Enemy round: They all move in close to you but Kanna should be the one to
challenge you first. Her spirit is a suit of armor called Ashcroft so he
fights too, like with Eliza and Faust. You only have to beat Kanna to win.
You can beat Ashcroft too for extra points. Wait to see who Meril is going
after then fight the other so they'll both be busy.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Yoh and Meril up to the right to fight the 3 homunculi on
the right so you can earn more points. Rio should be able to take the 2 out
on the left by himself, so move him over to fight them. You may or may not
want to heal yourself and allies.
Enemy round: Werewolf moves down with 2 homunculi and challenges you. You'll
most likely be the one who fights with them, along with Meril. Rio may be out
of range.

- Episode 06 -
This episode consists of 2 rounds like the last one. Here's where it starts
to tough when you fight En. He's the first large enemy you face. These large
enemies hit hard and have a lot of strength. When you get then down to half
strength or less, they become not so hard to beat, you'll know when they start
to fall down. With these enemies, you may want to use items on them before
hand to get their strength down, I will cover this with more of these enemies.
This is also where you start having a lot of allies, keep two together as
much as you can.

How to win: Defeat Joto One then En
Allies: Meril, Len, Lee Pailong, Rio and Trey (these two join later)
Main bosses: Joto One, En
Other Enemies: spirit hunters

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Len and Meril up. Move Yoh and Lee up and battle the 3
spirit hunters, they're pretty easy.
Enemy round: The enemies move closer to you.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Len and Meril up, keep them together. Move Yoh and Lee up
again and battle 3 more spirit hunters. More show up, have Len and Meril
battle them.
Enemy round: Joto One and 2 spirit hunters move closer to you and challenge
you. Let Lee get some hits in so he can get points. Joto One isn't hard at
all.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move Trey and Meril up to battle the 3 spirit hunters. Have Rio
and Lee do the same on the right side. These two steps aren't needed to win
but it's good to let them get points. Move Len and Yoh up. Use this time to
use items on En if you want and maybe Save Game so you don't have to do it all
over again.
Enemy round: En and 2 spirit hunters will challenge Len and Yoh, Len must
fight En. Also, Len can't die or it's over. Try to fend off the spirit
hunters at the same time at fighting En. They can get annoying but they don't
cause much damage and don't attack too often. En will attack fast and hard so
you need to let him attack as much as you can. When he's close to his end,
he'll start to fall down after a few hits, this is where you can relax a bit
as he won't attack as often, so you can hit him faster. If you die and if you
did a Save game then you select NO when the screen comes up then select
CONTINUE on the menu and it put you back to where you lefted off. If you keep
having trouble, use items if you haven't already.

- Episode 07 -
At this point, it starts to change direction with the manga/anime where the
new enemies make an enterance.

How to win: Defeat Heckel
Allies: Meril, Trey, Len, Rio
Main bosses: Heckel
Other Enemies: homunculus, valkyrie

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Meril and Yoh to the left and battle the homunculus. Move
Rio and Len up to battle 2 more homunculus. Lastly, move Trey to the left
with Yoh and Meril.
Enemy round: More homunculus and valkrie move close to you and challenge you,
they are easy to beat.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Trey and Meril left to battle the homunculus. Move Yoh left.
You don't need to worry about Len and Rio as there are no more enemies around.
Enemy round: They move down to you.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move Trey and Yoh up to battle Heckel, homunculus, and valkyrie.
The weak ones are easy and Heckel isn't too hard. Take the lesser ones down
while Trey beats on Heckel or the other way around. If you take on the small
ones, go help Trey once you're finished.

- Episode 08 -
Back to Yoh being solo again, so this episode should be quick compared to the
last few you've fought so far, but it will go back to long battles soon
enough.

How to win: Defeat Zerumo
Allies: None
Main bosses: Zerumo
Other Enemies: basilisk, homunculus

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Yoh up and battle the homunculus, use healing items if you
need to, you'll need a lot of health for the next round.
Enemy round: They move in close to you, a basilisk should battle you alone.
Then Zerumo and the homunculus with him challenge you. Take out the small one
if he bothers you. Zerumo will take over if you don't keep hitting him and he
has a lot of strength. If this way doesn't work for you, then try another
way. My first try didn't work but this one did for me.

- Episode 09 -
This has too seperate parts and possibly my favorite episode because Lyserg
joins you and later you fight the girls from episode 05. This episode isn't
too hard. Here is where you must try your best to keep everyone alive
because the battles after this get tough and you'll need all the help you can
get.

How to win: Defeat Lyserg then Boris
Allies: None then Meril, Len, Trey, Lyserg, Rio
Main bosses: Lyserg then Boris, Marion, Matilda, Kanna
Other Enemies: skeleton

*Turn 1*
Your round: Battle Lyserg, this is easy. He used some furyoku when he hurt
Trey, not that it matters. After some more talking, you get to the secound
part, which I'll call Turn 2, as to not confuse anyone.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Len up and to the left to the corner of the 'center piece'.
Yoh and Meril should move up to Marion and the skeleton then battle her. If
didn't fight her in episode 05, then this is the first battling her, don't
worry, she's not hard. She holds her spirit, Chuck, so she doens't one
fighting along side her but the skeleton is there, leave Meril to fight it.
Move down Lyserg as far as he can go so he's close to Rio. Moving Rio and
Trey up will help too, keep Rio close to Lyserg. Trey and Rio should battle
Matilda and the skeleton, you never get to fight her if you haven't in episode
05. Make sure to use items turn all the fighting is done. Filling up furyoku
gives them a better chance in winning, remember this for later on.
Enemy round: The two skeletons near by will challenge Lyserg, this is where
keeping Rio close to him comes in handy, or he wouldn't last. Give them items
if needed.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move Yoh, Meril, and Len up. Try to have Len battle along side
Yoh this time. Kanna and skeleton aren't too hard, and don't forget about
Ashcroft. Let Len handle Kanna while you take out Ashcroft. The skeleton
isn't gonna be any trouble, so it should go down if it gets too close when
you're attacking another enemy. After that, move Trey, Lyserg, and Rio up as
far as you can but keep them together.
Enemy round: Now that Boris sees you getting closer, he moves in but isn't
close enough to battle you just yet.
*Turn 4*
Your round: Lyserg, Trey, and Rio are closer, so move them up to battle Boris
and one or both of the skeletons, it won't matter much. Depending on who's
closest or whoever you want to battle them, pick to battle enemies. If Yoh
would happen to get there first, if you don't want to follow my guide, Boris
isn't hard at all. He'll go down without much effort.

- Episode 10 -
This episode has the second huge enemy to fight, and it's just as hard, if not
harder, than En. But if you've been getting good items after each episode,
this won't be too bad. The items best to use are the ultrasonics, the
magnitudes, and the spears. The only difference is each has a different range
of attack. The spears mainly only hit what's in front of them. Magnitudes
hit enemies close to the user, the higher the number, the bigger the range is.
Ultrasonics hit in a section ahead of the user, kind of like the spears, and
these probably are the better of these items but use the most furyoku. Using
these items takes furyoku, so keep it up when episodes with huge enemies.

How to win: Defeat Golem
Allies: Trey, Len, Meril, Lyserg, Rio
Main bosses: Golem, Zaua
Other Enemies: basilisk, homunculus

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Trey and Len up to battle the basilisk and the 2 homunculus.
Should give them items after the fight. Move Rio and Meril to the left to
battle the basilisk and 2 homunculus and give them items if needed. Move Yoh
left close to the others. Have Lyserg and Yoh provoke the 2 homunculus by
Zaua to keep it easier on Trey and Len if you want to.
Enemy round: Zaua and the 2 homunculus, if you didn't provoke them, move in
towards Golem. Since Golem takes Furyoku after every 2 turns, keep Yoh and
Lyserg's up for Golem. Provoking takes some as well.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Meril and Rio left to provoke the 2 homunculus by Golem,
you'll want to do this. Move Trey and Len up to Zaua and maybe the two
homunculus. They should just barely survive this battle so give them items
when they're finished. Move Lyserg and Yoh up together.
Enemy round: Since Zaua is defeated now. Only the small enemies should move in
to you now. Golem is most likely going to drain furyoku this round.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move Meril and Rio up. Then move Lyserg and Yoh left. Move Trey
and Len left to battle the homunculus near by.
Enemy round: Both the homunculus provoked earlier should battle Rio and Meril
now, it doesn't matter who battles in these, just make sure Lyserg and Yoh are
healed.
*Turn 4*
Your round: Move Meril and Rio back down if they're in the way. Then move Yoh
and Lyserg to the left near Golem then have them both use an item on it, as
one item of this matter can only by used once per turn. Try to get his
strength to close or lower than half strength.
Enemy round: Golem may take furyoku again this round then challenge Lyserg and
Yoh. If its health is way down then this shouldn't be too hard. He'll start
falling down, making it easier to attack him. Try to keep Lyserg alive so he
can get points. So beat Golem quickly and try not to let Lyserg get to close
if his strength is down.

- Episode 11 -
You fight Golem once again, this is the last time. But you beat him once, you
can do it again. A new enemy appears, Vineuvall, but you won't have to fight
him if you don't want to as he's behind Golem.

How to win: Defeat Golem
Allies: Trey, Len, Lyserg, Meril, Rio
Main bosses: Golem, Heckel, Ruby, Zerumo, Zaua, Vineuvall
Other Enemies: werewolf, valkyrie

*Turn 1*
Your round: Have everyone besides Yoh, or whoever you want, provoke a smaller
enemy. Preferably one that's just ahead of them so it won't take too long to
get there. Keep everyone in teams of two.
Enemy round: Some will reach their target and battle them. Use healing items
if you need to.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Lyserg and Trey up to battle Zaua. Keep to sure to heal
them. Move Rio and Len up to battle Zerumo, heal them after if they need it.
Then move Meril and Yoh up.
Enemy round: The rest of the provoked battles are fought in this round. Golem
may take furyoku is this round.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move Yoh and Meril up and use items on Golem.
Enemy round: Heckel fights you this round, he's not too hard like last time
you fought him.
*Turn 4*
Your round: Move Yoh and Meril up again, use more items on Golem if you need
to. Make sure to heal yourself as well.
Enemy round: Golem will take furyoku again and then battle you. It's not any
different than episode 10.

- Episode 12 -
No huge enemies for a while but they do attack in numbers a lot now, which
really drains your strength if you're not careful. You lost Meril but Faust
joins you this episode, as well as Sliva, although he only stays for a few
episodes. Lee Pailong also makes an appearence as an allie later in the
battle but he stays with you. I'll be calling Lee Pailong just Lee.

How to win: Sliva defeats Zerumo
Allies: Trey, Len, Lyserg, Faust, Rio, Silva, then later Lee
Main bosses: Zerumo, Heckel
Other Enemies: werewolf, basilisk

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Silva left then Rio up, have them battle the basilisk and
werewolf there. Move Len, Faust, and Lyserg up. The move Yoh and Trey up
and battle the basilisk and 2 werewolfs. Heal anyone if you need to.
Enemy round: Most of your groups should be challenged but can be easily kept
alive. Heckel may challenge you in this round. He's not too tough, like in
earlier episodes.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Have Len and Rio battle the basilisk and werewolf. Then move Yoh
to the right closer to Silva. Move Faust, Lyserg and Silva up. Heal up if
you need to.
Enemy round: This is where Lee Pailong comes in but it won't matter much.
Also, more enemies should challenge you this round.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move Silva and Yoh up to battle Zerumo, the basilisk and werewolf.
You've fought him before, he's no different since then. Try to take out the
lesser enemies first then fight Zerumo. Silva may have gotten his life down.
Silva can't die, so keep him alive or you'll have to start over again. This
is where the Save Game comes in handy.

- Episode 13 -
Some episodes you have to beat in a certain number of turns, this is one of
them. This one can be stressful but is pretty straight forward if you know
where to go. As you progress down the last bit of episodes, enemies start
showing up as others are defeated, be aware of this as you work your way
through episodes.

How to win: Defeat the 3 eihenryals, rescue the Ice Men team
Allies: Len, Trey, Lyserg, Rio, Lee, Faust, Silva
Main bosses: Zerumo, Heckel
Other Enemies: eihenryals, valkkyrie, werewolf

*Turn 1*
Your round: Len and Lee should move up and battle the eihenryal and 2
wolfweres that guard Zria's cage. The Move Rio and Silva down to battle
Heckel, the werewolf and valkyrie. Move everyone else down to the other cage
with Zerumo. Then Yoh and Lyserg should battle Zerumo and the valkyrie.
Make sure to heal everyone except Len and Lee as they won't need to battle
anymore in this episode.
Enemy round: Your two groups should be challenged this round. More enemies
may appear but don't worry, only the eihenryals can do damage to the cages.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Rio and Silva down then battle the eihenryal and the 2
valkyries, rescuing Cadimahide. Move Yoh, Lyserg, Trey down.
Enemy round: No more enemies should up here.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move Yoh and Trey left to battle the last eihanryal and 2 more
valkyrie, saving Pino. The eihenryals are just stronger versions of the
basilisks but aren't terrible difficult. Take down the valkyries while Trey
beats on the other then go help him when you're finished, if he isn't done
already.

- Episode 14 -
This one is where you must fight many enemies, so keep everyone well healed up
each round after each battle. This is also where you may start having to lose
allies but if Silva falls, don't worry about him because he doesn't stay to
help anymore after this episode.

How to win: Defeat all enemies
Allies: Len, Trey, Lyserg, Rio, Lee, Faust, Silva
Main bosses: Heckel
Other Enemies: wolfhejin, werewolf, brunhilde, valkyrie

*Turn 1*
Your round: Heal up between battles. Move Len down then Yoh should move up,
where he's close to Len. Have them battle the wolfhejin, werewolf, and
burnhilde. Get rid of the big guy first while Len picks off the other two.
Lee and Lyserg should move down and battle the 2 werewolfs and brunhilde.
Move Trey and Rio to the right to battle the 2 wolfhejins. Move Silva to the
left then move Faust up to him to battle the wolfhejin and werewolf.
Enemy round: You should have taken care of all the enemies but Heckel shows up
with more. And a few will battle you.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Yoh, Len, Lyserg, and Lee should be moved down. Then Rio and Trey
moved to the left.
Enemy round: More enemies will battle you this round again. Heckel may kill
Faust and Silva, if you can't get around this, don't worry. Sometimes it
can't be helped.
*Turn 3*
Your round: You could go either way but I picked to move Trey and Rio down to
battle the wolfhejin, werewolf, and valkyrie.

- Episode 15 -
Silva leaves the team starting this episode. The smaller enemy for this
episode are Masked Spriit Hunters but I'll call them M Spirit Hunters. Also,
be aware of the spoilers ahead.

How to win: Defeat Masked Kid then Meril
Allies: Len, Trey, Lyserg, Rio, Faust, Lee
Main bosses: Masked Kid, Meril
Other Enemies: M Spirit Hunter

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move everyone down, keep them together in groups of 2. Lee can
battle the M Spirit Hunter by himself. Rio and Len can battle the 2 M Spirit
Hunters to end the round. Heal if you need to.
Enemy round: A few enemies will most likely challenge you in this round.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move Trey and Faust down to the group. Lee and Lyserg should be
moved right. Move Yoh down and to the right to battle the Masked Kid and the
M Spirit Hunter, you should be able to have someone accompany you, like Trey
or Len. And Heal if you need to. The kid is tough, they have a higher level
then yours but you only need to get some of they're strength down to end the
battle.
Enemy round: More enemies will challenge you again.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Yoh and Trey should move right and up then battle Masked Meril and
the 2 M Spirit Hunters. Same as before, she'll stop the battle after you
bring her strength down.

- Episode 16 -
This is where you start moving around the world at the end of this episode.
Also, Zeke starts showing up to help you out, not in battles though... darn.
Zeke doesn't much of any other purpose in the game besides that. Clive shows
up on the field but don't fight him, he's too strong. Just ignore him. This
episode can also be tough if you don't know what to do, it took me a while to
figure out the right way, so hopefully this helps you.

How to win: Defeat enemies then Meril
Allies: Len, Trey, Lyserg, Lee, Rio, Faust
Main bosses: Meril
Other Enemies: wolfhejin, rukeon, valkyrie

*Turn 1*
Your round: First, move Lee and Trey up to the battle the wolfhejin, rukeon,
valkyrie. Heal them after you've won. Then, move Len, Rio, Lyserg, and Faust
to the right, Rio should move close to Len, and keep Lyserg and Faust
together. Have Rio and Len battle the wolfhein and valkyrie. Lastly, move
Yoh up to Meril as far as you can. Heal everyone if they need it.
Enemy round: More enemies show up and others move in close. Rio and Len have
two more battles to fight, but they should live. Meril will move in close to
Yoh and challenge him. She's stronger than before but she'll stop the battle
after a lot of beating.
*Turn 2*
Your round: You can move the others in close if you want. Heal Len and Rio,
they are probably low on strength and still a bit more fighting left. After
that, have those 2 provoke the last 2 enemies, they should be close enough to
battle. Yoh goes in to talk to Meril, there's no more fighting left.

- Episode 17 -
This is another episode where there is a limit in turns, 5 to be exact. But
don't worry, that's more than enough time to win this. You don't have to
fight the other enemies but it's good to get extra points.

How to win: Defeat Ruby within 5 turns
Allies: Len, Trey, Lyserg, Lee, Rio, Faust
Main bosses: Vineuvall, Ruby
Other Enemies: eihenryal, rukeon, brunhilde

*Turn 1*
Your round: Lee and Trey should move left to battle the brunhilde and
eihenryal. Then, Rio and Faust should go right and battle the rukeon and
burnhilde there. After that, move Yoh and Len up to battle the brunhilde,
rukeon, and einhenryal. Then move Lyserg up to them. Keep those 3 healed,
the others at the sides won't fight anymore in this episode.
Enemy round: Vineuvall and maybe a couple lesser enemies will challenge you
Pick which ever 2 you want to battle them.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Make sure whoever fought the last round are healed. Then move
Lyserg and Len up, or whoever you choose, to battle the brunhilde and rukeon.
Have Yoh, or whatever third person didn't battle, move up then provoke the
brunhilde then battle it. Heal if you need to.
Enemy round: Ruby challenges you. If you've fought her before, you'll know
how she fights. But if you haven't, she's not too hard just don't let her
get the upper hand.

- Episode 18 -
This is the last long battle, besides the last, that you'll have. But this is
the last one you'll have a lot of lesser enemies to battle. Thus, you'll need
to keep everyone healed throughout the episode.

How to win: Defeat Vineuvall then Heckel
Allies: Len, Trey, Lyserg, Lee, Rio, Faust
Main bosses: Vineuvall, Heckel
Other Enemies: rukeon, nidhoggr, wolfhejin

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move Fraust and Trey move down and battle the rukeon and
wolfhejin. Lee and Rio should be moved down to battle the wolfhejin and
nidhoggr. Move Len right and provoke the rukeon to the far right then battle
it, the other should join in too. Lyserg should move left and Yoh up and to
the right with the others there. Heal everyone that needs it, Yoh or Lyserg
can do the healing.
Enemy round: Faust and Trey should be challenged this round. Also, Lyserg
and Yoh will be challenged.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Heal anyone that needs it. Rio should move up then provoke the
nidhoggr and battle it. Move Lee up with him to help him out. Faust and Trey
should move up and to the right. Again, heal if you need to.
Enemy round: Nothing really here except the enemies moving in close to you.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Move Faust and Trey move and to the right again then they should
battle the wolfhejin and brunhilde. Move Lyserg to the left then move Yoh,
Len, Lee, and Rio up. Have Yoh and Len battle the wolfhejin and Vineuvall.
This might be tough with the other enemy there, so take it out first or let
Len do it while you fight Vineuvall. He hits hard if you let him, so try your
best to not to let him get the best of you. After the battle, Lee and Rio
should battle the last 2 enemies, the wolfhejin and brunhilde. Heal if you
need to, Lyserg should be able to still.
Enemy round: Heckel shows up with more enemies, none should challenge you just
yet. Yoh don't have to fight the enemies, which I didn't. But you can, just
make sure to still keep everyone healed after each battle.
*Turn 4*
Your round: Move Yoh and Lyserg right and up so they can battle Heckel and the
rukeon and brunhilde.

- Episode 19 -
Play this one right and everyone will stay alive. I hope this guide works for
you here. This is the first and only episode where you use the Persuade on
the menu. You get it by using the same method of how you move, battle, use
items, and etc., push X on a character, in this case Yoh, then go down to
Peruade, select it. Also, this is another victory based on turns which is 5
again... but you'll need 2 of them to win.

How to win: Yoh persuade Meril within 5 turns
Allies: Len, Trey, Lyserg, Lee, Rio, Faust
Main bosses: Ruby, Heckel, Vineuvall
Other Enemies: wolfhejin, rukeon, nidhoggr

*Turn 1*
Your round: First move Faust up, you won't need him but this is so he won't
get ganged up on. Then move Trey and Len down to battle Heckel, Trey should
be closest to Heckel then Len right behind him. Next, move Lee down and Rio
up and to the left, have them both battle Ruby, one should be behind the
other. Lastly, move Yoh and Lyserh straight up and battle Vineuvall, Lyserg
just barely gets within Yoh's range, there should be a space between them, or
Lyserg can be diagonally down and to the left of Yoh. Heal Yoh, Lyserg, Lee,
and Rio if they need it, Faust can do the healing.
Enemy round: Lee and Rio have another battle to fight then Meril challenges
Yoh, or Lyserg. She's not much different from before, she'll stop the battle
at about half strength again then step back to heal.
*Turn 2*
Your round: You only need Yoh for this last round but heal anyone if you feel
you need to. Move Yoh up and to the left to Meril. Now Persuade her.
Enemy round: After some talking, she'll challenge you. She's the same as
before, just get her strength down to about half and she'll finally come to
her senses.

- Episode 20 -
Meril won't battle this episode as she was abducted again. This is the last
battle and it has two different endings. One, the easiest to get, is to get
Meril's strength to zero before Zeobide's. But if you save her, then the
'good' ending is showed. It's much different, just Morty says something
different at the end, which sounds better, so I call it the 'good' ending.
Since this is the last episode and points don't matter, if someone of your's
falls, it doesn't matter as you won't get graded on this episode.

How to win: Defeat Zeobide
Allies: Trey, Len, Lyserg, Lee, Faust, Rio
Main bosses: Ruby, Heckel, Zerumo, Vineuvall
Other Enemies: einhenryal, wolfhejin, rukeon, nidhoggr

*Turn 1*
Your round: Move everyone up so they all stand in a straight line, side by
side, but Yoh should be just one step ahead of everyone. Also, they all need
to provoke a lesser enemy, the numbers of them and your fighters are the same.
Some should be close enough to battle, like Yoh battle the eihenryal and Rio
the nidhoggr. Whoever battles along side them doesn't matter, it's your
choice. Heal if you need to.
Enemy round: A couple more of the provoked enemies will move in and challenge
you. Use wheoever you want to fight with the challenged fighter.
*Turn 2*
Your round: Move everyone up again in a line, the shortest ranged characters
will be the limit, except Yoh, Lyserg, and Lee should be ahead of everyone.
Have Faust battle the eihenryal and Trey the last lesser enemy, a eihenryal.
Yoh, Lyserg, and Lee should use damage items on Heckel and Vineuvall or
fighting them will be hard, you probably won't survive it. Try to get to
Heckel's strength to less than half. Heal if you too and give the 3 of them
furyoku healing items if they used a lot.
Enemy round: Heckel and Vineuvall will challenge you this round, with their
strength down, this shouldn't be too hard. Choose whoever you want to battle
with Yoh.
*Turn 3*
Your round: Everyone should move up again, keeping them in groups of 2 or
more. Yoh, Lyserg, and Lee should stay together as well. If you want, have
Rio and Faust battle Zerumo. Then have Yoh and Lyserg use items on Zeobide.
Try not to over do it if you want to save Meril. Get him to about half
strength if you want to fight him, which is hard to do. But if you do fight
him, have Lee join you as any furyoku attacks, like Lyserg's, will hurt Meril.
Which is why Yoh is using the Spear of Gaias so it won't hurt her. This is
not easy to do as I've only done it once and I don't remember how. But if you
don't want to go through the trouble, just use the best items on him you have
and he should go down when his life is nearly gone.
Enemy round: If you didn't kill him off then he'll challenge you. This is a
tough battle. You may want to Save Game before you end your round so if you
die then you can choose Continue from the start screen and try again until
you do.

When you win for the first time, the Versus Mode opens on the start screen.
More is explained about it at the start of this guide. But for now, you can
mess around in the Versus Mode. Fight with a friend or an 'lifeless shell' as
you can't fight a computer, so a second controller must be in to play this.

I may update this more if I find easier ways to win but for now, this will
have to do.
