General Information/Intro
--------------------------

To begin with, I'd like to begin with saying Thanks to Midway & Azure for
making this game. This walkthrough is based on the Neam Ruins Underground, the
second time through. This walkthrough is to help others out by providing them
with a written walkthrough to navigate through the ruins. This guide will
contain the solutions to moving the blocks as well as getting the items that
are contained within this side-quest. Also, this guide *MAY* contain spoilers.
They will be marked accordingly.

Version 2.1 - Added a current list of all the sites that are currently hosting
this walkthrough.

Version 2.0 - Re-Did the whole walkthrough. I tried to make it a little more
easier to understand. Also updated the Legal Information to include other
sources. I also decided to add a rewards section so people know what they can
expect to have at the end of the side-quest.

Accessing this Side-Quest
-------------------------

**SPOILER WARNING**

This Side-Quest can be opened up towards the end of the game. In order to
access the side-quest, you must have already had the scene with Yuri and Bacon
using the Manuscript to bring back Alice. Once you have that done, talk to
Roger again and this side-quest should open up. To reach it, just head back to
the Neam Underground Ruins.

Rewards
-------

By completing this side-quest, you'll be rewarded with various goodies. Some of
those goodies include Yuri's Ultimate Weapon, Karin's Alternate Costume,
Hieroglyphs to complete the Fortress of Regrets, Euthanasia Album Entry, the
Orobas Crest and some other extra items.

Walkthrough
-----------

This side quest can be accessed by going through the first part of the Neam
Ruins
again.

**This is starting at the second save point room and being at the red block.
It would be a wisei dea to save before starting the dungen as it is a long
journey through it**

Start by taking the shiny red block down. Once you get down, you should see a
purple block. You'll want to get onto it and you'll be taken to a platform.
From there, you'll move across a shiny blue block and a yellow one.

Hop onto the yellow one to ride it to a switch. Press it. It should have
changed the yellow block you rode over to a blue shiny one. Also the blue one
before should now be yellow. Now you'll want to get onto the blue block and
ride back over.

After you're back on the platform, head down to the newly changed yellow block.
Get on it. It should take you to a new platform that contains a yellow and
purple block. Jump onto the purple block and go down.

Once you are down, turn right then head up and make another right. Keep
following that path until you pass another purple block. Once you do so, you
should be near a dead end. You also should have the choice in going down.
Choose to go down.

As you head down, you'll pass a purple block that is on the left hand side of
the screen. You can pass under it by going left then going down. Doing this
should have had you pass under two blue blocks. Keep going until you reach an
intersection.

At the intersection, hook a right towards a purple block. Step on that to head
up. That should have led you to be near a switch. Above that switch you should
see a blue block. Now press the switch.

The block above should have changed to yellow as well as one to the left. Now
step onto the purple block again to go back down. After you get off, go left
and retrace your steps back to the intersection you were previously at. It used
to contain two blue blocks but now one of them is yellow.

Keep heading down that path by going right and then straight. Go down until you
reach a purple block nestled into a wall a bit. You'll want to step on that to
take it up. Once up, you'll be at a platform that contains the yellow and blue
blocks. Run over to the yellow one to reach a new platform.

The new platform should contain another yellow block as well as a purple one
behind it. Run over to the purple block. Stepping on it should take you past a
waterfall into another area. You'll know if you're in another area if the
screen changed.

Now that you're in the new area, you should have stopped on a platform that has
two blocks. One is purple on the end. Before moving anywhere, notice the green
blocks in the area. Now head down to the purple block. Ride it down.

As you get off that block, you should notice a few orange colored blocks as
well as a green one in front of you. You'll also see another purple one located
on the bottom of the screen.

Now you'll want to get off the purple block and head to your left then down to
ride the purple block that was previously at the bottom of the screen. Once on
it, you should be going down. After you're on the ground, you should have an
overhead view. You also should notice two bright purple blocks to the left and
two bright green ones to the bottom left.

Get off the purple block you're on, head two blocks to your left then up one. A
question mark should appear over your head. An item is here -- the Shanghai
Angels Magazine. Pick it up and some comments will appear. After that, run back
past the purple block you rode down on to a chest. Open it up for a Strike Area
expand.

With that in hand, run down pasted the green blocks and keep heading right. You
should have changed screens a bit and should be near a waterfall. From there,
head down until you reach a purple colored switch. Press it and return back up,
heading left when you reach the waterfall.

You'll be back in the area with the green blocks, the purple blocks as well as
the now empty chest. Run to the left and under the lifted purple blocks. Head
down until you come across a purple block on the floor. For now, avoid it and
keep heading down.

Heading down should grant you another purple block on the floor. Step on it to
take a trip up.

In the new area, you should see a chest near the top of the screen, a purple
switch near two green blocks and two purple blocks near the chest. You'll also
notice another purple block like the one you rode up only a few feet away.

Step on that block and head over to the platform with the green blocks. Once
there, head to the right over the blocks to touch the switch. The purple blocks
should now be lowered. Run left to the purple blocks that were lowered. You'll
stumble across a green switch.

Press the switch and take the purple block you rode there back to the platform.
Again, take the other purple block that you came up on back down. You'll now be
back where there is two purple blocks on the ground. Head straight up onto the
other one.

Take it and you should be on top of a platform where you see the green blocks
form a small bridge.

Run across them to the purple block at the end. Hop onto it and you'll be taken
down to an orange switch. Press it and get back on the block to head up. Once
up, head back down the green block bridge and onto the other purple block at
the end. It should be the one you rode up here on.

Once on that purple block, you should head back down to the ground. Head down
and run to the other purple block that is on the floor. Ride it up and head
back over to where you pressed the green switch. Now press the green switch
again as well as running back to the left to press the purple one again.

Head back to the other platform and take the purple block down. Get off the
block on the ground and run around the other purple block on the ground. Keep
going until you pass under the bright purple blocks and are back in the room
with the empty chest and the green blocks. Keep heading left until you reach
the area with the waterfall.

Keep going right until you can't anymore then turn up. Follow the path for a
chest. Open the chest for Pure Extract. From there, turn to the left and run
down that path. Ignore the purple block for now and open the other chest. Open
that for a Seal of Speed. Now ride the purple block a few feet from the chest.

The block should've taken you up to a platform with a green switch on the end.
Press it and return to the block you just rode up on. It'll take you back down.
You'll then run up to where you found the Pure Extract then head down. At the
waterfall, take a left into the room with the purple and green blocks.

Head back under the purple blocks by heading left then head down. Now avoid the
first purple block in favor of using the second one. Take it up to the platform
again. Now ride the other purple block to the platform that is across the room.
From there, you'll need to run left to hit the purple switch. Then run to the
left and press the green switch. Now take the purple block back and take the
other one down.

Once down, run straight onto the other purple block that's on the ground. Take
it up and run down the platform until you reach the purple block at the end.
Instead of riding it, take a left and run pass the green blocks for a chest.
Open it for an Eternal Key. Run back to where you first came up on this
platform. Take the purple block back down.

After you reached the bottom, take the other purple block back up. Hop on over
to the other side of the screen where the switches are located. You'll need to
press the green switch on the left then press the purple switch. Now return to
the other platform to head down.

Now that you're on the ground again, run passed the other purple block on the
ground to head around the purple blocks. Keep going right and passed the green
blocks again. Head near the waterfall and head UP passed it. Now swing a left
and ride the purple block up at the end.

At the top, you'll want to run passed the green switch and onto the other
purple block that is located there. Ride it on up until you reach a platform
that contains a chest. Open it for a 7th key. Now go right of the chest and
take the purple block across. You'll land in an area with 3 different purple
blocks. You'll be located on the left one. Take the one above you.

You should now be on the bottom with a switch. Ignore the white switch in favor
of the chest behind it. Open it for the Hieroglyphs. Now run to hit the switch.
Notice how one of the blocks changed from yellow to blue. Now take the purple
block back up.

From there, take the block that is on the far right side. It should take to you
a platform with the yellow and blue blocks. Step onto the blue block to head to
an area with a switch and a purple block. Ignore the switch and get on the
purple block. It should take you to a new screen.

The block you rode drops you off with another purple block straight ahead. Get
on it to head down. Once there, hop off the block to head on up. Run across the
area and over the green blocks for a chest. The chest contains a Daphne Fruit.
From the chest, head down to the purple block. Take it down to see a chest and
a red block. Open the chest for a bat gold. Now get on the red block.

Now that you've taken the red block down, you'll notice a save point and
another chest. Open it for a Zodiac Bracelet. Use the save point, save your
game and head up to the boss.
