INTRODUCTION ============================================================================== Resident Evil Dead Aim is a light gun game base on Capcom's Resident Evil series. It is exclusive to the Sony Playstation 2 console, and is actually Capcom's 4th Gun Survivor title series. It take place on the year 2002, which is almost 2 years after the Code: Veronica event at Rockfort Island... In this game, you play as Bruce McGivern, an US STRATCOM spy send to a boat to investigate the ex-Umbrella employee, Morpheus D.Duvall. In his journey, Bruce will meet FongLing, a spy from China who have the same objective as him. Bruce and FongLing will never know that their life is going to have a big twist, one so big that it is going to change their life forever... ============================================================================== 2. BASICS/NOTES ============================================================================== In Resident Evil Dead Aim, you will encounter hideous monsters that Morpheus and Umbrella have breeded. Luckily, Bruce and FongLing will be able to access to various powerful weapons in the game, which are needed to for survival. In this FAQ, we will take an indepth look on how we can effectively utilize the weapons, the weakness of the monsters and other stuffs that you will need to know in order to have a nice 'cruise' throughout this dangerous advanture. First, there are several points that you have to note in the game. ---------------------- MONSTERS HP ASSIGNMENT ---------------------- Some monsters have a randomly assigned amount of HP. The range of the HP, though, is different for each difficulty. Needless to say, the harder the difficulty, the higher range of HP they have. ---------- WEAK POINT ---------- If you hit at a specific area of the monster's body, the monsters will react accordingly. They might receive bigger or lesser damage. Some might even slow down. Knowing how they work and implementing it into the game is a key that Resident Evil Dead Aim players have to take note in if he/she wants to survive the nightmare. -------------- DAMAGE RANKING -------------- The monsters' attack moves inflict a certain amount of damage. In this FAQ, the damage will be ranked by alphabelt. From "S" being the move that inflict the most damage, to "E" where insignificant amount of damage inflicted. ============================================================================== 3. WEAPONS BRIEFING ============================================================================== ------- HANDGUN ------- HOLDS: 15 HG Bullets POWER: 100 SPEED: 4 Shot/Sec Bruce starts with this weapon. A standard weak weapon that you should replace with the Semi-Auto Handgun if you have the chance. ---------------- SILENCER HANDGUN ---------------- HOLDS: 8 HG Bullets POWER: 100 SPEED: 2 Shot/Sec This weapon is silent and deadly. You can use it to snipe one zombie without the rest of the zombies detecting it. Its also useful against Pluto fight. The only downside is that it fire slower than the Handgun. ----------------- SEMI-AUTO HANDGUN ----------------- HOLDS: 18 HG Bullets POWER: 100 SPEED: 10 Shot/Sec The fastest Handgun available, its a good replacement for the Handgun. Kill monsters fast, but deplete ammo fast too. You will find this weapon in the room 302 1F on the ship. ------- SHOTGUN ------- HOLDS: 7 SG Shells POWER: 3000~100(100~100 boss fight) SPEED: 1 Shot/Sec The Shotgun covers a wide radius, and hence is pretty useful when too much zombies are present. Its also a good choice against some boss type monsters and is greatly effective against Hunters. Its slow though, and doesn't have infinite ammo like the Handguns. ------------- ASSAULT RIFLE ------------- HOLDS: 100 Rifle Bullets POWER: 100 SPEED: 10 Shot/Sec The assault rifle is a rapid-fire weapon, and is also one of the fastest weapons in the game. Its as weak as a Handgun though, and ammunition are hard to come by. Still a reliable weapon when needed to down many zombies in far range or in urgent situation. Fong Ling starts with this weapon. ------ MAGNUM ------ HOLDS: 7 Magum Bullets POWER: 5000(1500 boss fight) SPEED: 1 Shot/Sec This gun is very powerful but slow. A must for stronger monsters like the Tyrant, this gun will be available in the Captain's Room. Ammunition is very scarce, so use it when needed. ---------------- GRENADE LAUNCHER ---------------- HOLDS: 6 Grenade Rounds POWER: 4000(1200~100 boss fight) SPEED: 1 Shot/Sec This is a short range weapon, so you will need to get close to the mosnters to use it. Highly recommended against monsters like Nautilus and Glimmers. The rounds will explode upon contact with the ground. Its slow though, and reloading can take a while. ---------------------- CHARGED PARTICLE RIFLE ---------------------- HOLDS: 3 POWER: 5000 SPEED: 3 Shot/Sec The only weapon that can hit Morpheus, this weapon requires no ammunition and uses charged particle, hence you have to wait for it to charge before firing the next particle. The particle has a bouncing effect, and you will obtain it late in the game. It can kill zombie with just one particle! Needless to say, this weapon is the best weapon available in the game. ============================================================================== 4. MONSTERS INFORMATION ============================================================================== Note that the information from this chart is taken from Biohazard Gun Survivor 4: Dead Aim. Some unavailable weapons have been listed, I know, but still I don't have any idea on how to solve this error. The numbers in the Hit list represent the amount of bullets needed to kill the monsters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1 ZOMBIE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Difficulty HP : - So Sweet - 300 ~ 1500 - Recommend - 500 ~ 3000 - Extreme - 500 ~ 3000 Special Hit Spot: Head (Bigger damage) Leg (slower) Attack Move : Vomit - D Bite - D Flame - E (Flaming zombie only) Weapon Hit List : - HANDGUN - 1~30 - SILENCER HANDGUN - 1~30 - CUSTOM HANDGUN - 1~30 - ASSAULT RIFLE - 3~30 - SHOTGUN - 1~3 - GRENADE LAUNCHER - 1 - MAGNUM - 1 - CHARGED PARTICLE RIFLE - 1 Your standard zombie, created with a human got comtaminated with the T-virus.
