Unlocking it:
To unlock this ultra-tense but super-exciting mini-game, simply beat RE4 on any mode. The game will appear in the Extras underneath the ASSIGNMENT ADA game. When choosing the Mercenaries game, the menu will only show Leon. Every time a new character is unlocked, their picture is added on the menu screen (5 in total).

       Leon Scot Kenady:
HOW TO UNLOCK: Available from the start
 INVENTORY: 
--BLACKTAIL - 21 ROUNDS OF AMMO

SHOTGUN SHELLS - 10 ROUNDS
 --FIRST AID SPRAY - 1 ONLY 


You should be used to handling Leon by now. He is the most-balanced of the five characters and can easily achieve a 5-Star ranking for all four stages.
 SPECIAL HIGH ATTACK: ROUNDHOUSE KICK This is the same kick Leon uses in the main game. 
SPECIAL LOW ATTACK: THRUST KICK (LOS GANADOS ONLY) Leon does a forward thrust kick that makes the enemy fly back. 
SPECIAL LOW ATTACK: SUPLEX (CASTLE ZEALOTS AND SOLDIERS ONLY) This is self-explanatory. Leon grabs the enemy and does an overhead Suplex (sometimes smashing the enemies' head in one go). 

Ada Wong
HOW TO UNLOCK: Achieve a 4-Star ranking on the Pueblo village stage.
 INVENTORY: --PUNISHER - 21 ROUNDS OF AMMO 
--TMP - 100 ROUNDS OF AMMO 
--SEMI-AUTO RIFLE - 12 ROUNDS OF AMMO
 --HANDGUN AMMO - 30 ROUNDS --

--INCENDIARY GRENADES - 3 TOTAL
 --FIRST AID SPRAY - 1 ONLY 

SPECIAL HIGH ATTACK: FAN KICK This attack is a similar (but faster) version of Leon's Roundhouse Kick. 
SPECIAL LOW ATTACK: THRUST KICK Again, the same as Leon's Thrust kick. 


Jack Krauser
HOW TO UNLOCK: Achieve a 4-Star ranking in the Castle stage. 
INVENTORY:
 --BOW --ARROWS - 30 TOTAL
 --FLASH GRENADES - 3 TOTAL
 --FIRST AID SPRAY - 1 ONLY 

SPECIAL ATTACK: T-VIRUS ANNIHILATOR Krauser has an ultra sweet arm attack that can only be used when it is glowing red. Press the X button to activate the transformation and then position Krauser to where the enemy(s) is standing and press the attack button. Krauser will instantly decimate all enemies that are standing directly in front of him. You have to see it for yourself! It will take at least 30-45 seconds on the clock to regenerate his arm so use the attack wisely! 
SPECIAL HIGH ATTACK: DOUBLE KICK Krauser performs a Roundhouse kick and then a thrust kick. 
SPECIAL LOW ATTACK: CHINBREAKER Krauser grabs the enemy in the head and slams his knee in their face (usually followed by splashes of gore and decapitation). This is a cool one-hit kill that can be VERY difficult to pull off.
 The biggest disadvantage of using Krauser is that he is VERY ill equipped. His Bow and Arrow weapon will take A LOT of practice to get the aiming right. And the fact that he only has Flash Grenades doesn't make his situation any better. Don't get me wrong, he is VERY strong but he isn't well balanced enough. 


HUNK

HOW TO UNLOCK: Achieve a 4-Star ranking in the Mountainside stage. 
INVENTORY:
 --TMP + TMP STOCK - 100 ROUNDS OF AMMO 
--TMP AMMO - 50 ROUNDS 
--HAND GRENADES - 3 TOTAL 
--FIRST AID SPRAY - 1 ONLY 

SPECIAL HIGH ATTACK: NECKBREAKER When an enemy is stunned, Hunk can go up to it and break its neck in one go. Super cool if I may say so! 
SPECIAL LOW ATTACK: RIOT BREAKER Hunk will do an attack similar to Krauser's low attack that can target and disperse an entire crowd of enemies. Hunk is also a semi-well-balanced character like Leon. In fact he even controls like Leon! Anyway, Hunk is a super-easy character to use. And like Leon, he can easily obtain a 5-Star ranking in all 4 stages without too much problems.

Albert Wesker

HOW TO UNLOCK: Achieve a 4-Star ranking in the Water Island stage. 
INVENTORY: 
--9 MM HANDGUN + SILENCER - 25 ROUNDS OF AMMO 
--KILLER 7 - 10 ROUNDS OF AMMO
 --SEMI-AUTO RIFLE - 24 ROUNDS OF AMMO
 --HAND GRENADES - 4 TOTAL 
--INCENDIARY GRENADES - 3 TOTAL 
--FLASH GRENADES - 1 TOTAL
 --FIRST AID SPRAY - 1 ONLY 

SPECIAL HIGH ATTACK: CVX SLAM When an enemy is stunned, Wesker can approach it and initiate a super punch to the gut. Hmm, where did I see that move before? 
SPECIAL LOW ATTACK: CHIKI GAKI Wesker performs a high kick that slams down on the enemy instantly killing them. Wesker is a ridiculously powerful character.
 He is equipped with the strongest weapons of all the five characters! But there is a disadvantage to using him. Wesker has no ammo for any of his weapons, which makes headshots an absolute priority for max points. He isn't as hard to control as Krauser but it still takes practice to use him properly.
