All of the normal, non-upgraded weapons youll encounter are listed below.

--Lancer--
Description: The Lancer is a machine gun, with a high rate of fire and decent range. It doesnt really pack a punch, and its useless by the time you reach planets like Notak. Use it on weak enemies. The best way to use the Lancer (in my opinion) is to strafe with it, constantly retreating
-- if you want to use it against tougher enemies, that is. The Lancer upgrades to the Heavy Lancer.
Where: You already own this weapon.
Cost: Free
Ammo Capacity: 200
Ammo Cost (per round): 1
Rate of Fire: Very High
Power: Low

--Gravity Bomb--
Description: This is your Megacorp standard grenade launcher. A white aiming circle should appear on the ground in front of you, indicating where the bomb will land. The Gravity Bomb explodes, and then releases a shockwave that kills or damages everything within ten feet of the white aiming circle. Useful against both large enemies and large groups of small enemies, the Gravity Bomb upgrades to the Mini-Nuke.
Where you get it: You already own this weapon.
Price: Free
Ammo Capacity: 8
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: Very Low
Power: Medium

--Chopper--
Description: A shuriken launcher! A must-have for teenage ninjas! Or maybe Ratchet and Clank? Basically, the weapon launches a throwing star at an enemy. The throwing star will rebound off of the enemy, hit another enemy, rebound again, and hit another enemy, for a total of three hits. It can be hard to use, but with the Acid Mod, its an absolute killer. The Chopper upgrades into the Multi-Star.
Where you get it: Megacorp Outlet, Oozla.
Price: 5000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 35
Ammo Cost (per round): 4
Rate of Fire: Medium
Power: Medium Low

--Blitz Gun--
Description: No arsenal is complete without a shotgun. Your solution: the Blitz Gun. It fires a wave of small bullets ahead of you. Powerful in close combat, the Blitz Gun is useless at long range. The Blitz Gun lacks power in later levels, and is powerless after Siberius. Still, use it a lot. The gun gives great damage. The Blitz Gun upgrades into the Blitz Cannon.
Where you get it: Megacorp Outlet, Oozla.
Price: 20000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 40
Ammo Cost (per round): 5
Rate of Fire: Medium High
Power: Medium

--Pulse Rifle--
Description: This gun is one of my absolute favorite. The Pulse Rifle shoots a beam of focused energy that can travel large distances. Basically, its a sniper rifle. It even comes equipped with a scope. While aiming, press R1 to zoom in on your target, and press R2 to zoom out. The beam it fires is extremely powerful, capable of taking down all but the strongest enemies from a distance. Although useless in direct, hand-to -hand, mano-a-mano combat, with the Shock Mod, it should be your weapon of choice against stronger enemies. The Pulse Rifle upgrades into the Vaporizer.
Where you get it: Megapolis, Endako.
Price: 20000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 8
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: Low
Power: Medium High

--Mini-Turret Glove--
Description: You remember the white aiming circle from the Gravity Bomb? Yeah, its back. The Mini-Turret Glove throws out a little turret that automatically shoots everything in its range. With the Shock Mod, it actually deals out pretty good damage, but the wrench is still better. Place a few of these babies in a room, sit back, and enjoy the fireworks. The Mini-Turret Glove works best against large groups of small enemies. This gun upgrades into the Mega-Turret Glove.
Where you get it: Megapolis, Endako.
Price: 25000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 20
Ammo Cost (per round): 15
Rate of Fire: High
Power: Medium Low

--Seeker Gun--
Description: The Seeker Gun has an auto lock-on function. It fires a homing missile straight forward, and if it detects an enemy, it will turn toward it, pull back, and fly into the enemy. Exploding on impact, the Seeker Guns rockets do quite a bit of damage. But a word to the wise: DO NOT BUY the Lock-On Mod! Ill explain this under the HK-22 Gun section. Yeah, you guessed it, the Seeker Gun upgrades into the HK-22 Gun.
Where you get it: Vukovar Canyon, Barlow.
Price: 5000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 25
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: Low
Power: Medium High

--Synthenoids--
Description: The Synthenoids are little robots that appear around you, floating in the air. Theyll open fire on the enemies nearest to you. Note that if there is an enemy behind you, the Synthenoids most likely will not shoot them unless youre facing them. At any time you can summon a maximum of 4 Synthenoids to watch your back. They have a limited amount of ammo, and will disappear once they run out. They dont do too much damage, but they are still useful against smaller, weaker enemies. Upgrading it takes a long time, and again, you really dont need it. The Synthenoids upgrade into the Kilonoids.
Where you get it: Canal City, Notak.
Price: 65000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 12
Ammo Cost (per round): 100
Rate of Fire: N/A
Power: Medium Low

--Lava Gun--
Description: The Lava Gun shoots lava at your enemies, burning them severely. The lava will stun the enemy for a second, if the enemy isnt already dead. The stream of lava is pretty difficult to aim, so my recommendation for using this weapon is to make Ratchet spin while using it. If the enemy youre aiming at is in front of you, turn from side to side. Again, this is a great crowd-controlling weapon, so long as you spin while you use it. Another tip is to hold circle while you use it, because the range increases after every shot. The range isnt very far, but its better than nothing. The Lava Gun upgrades into the Meteor Gun.
Where you get it: Mining Area, Tabora.
Price: 25000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 200
Ammo Cost (per round): 1
Rate of Fire: High
Power: Medium

--Bouncer--
Description: This gun is awesome! The Bouncer is a large bomb that explodes on contact with the enemy, like the Gravity Bomb. However, after blowing up, the Bouncer releases fifteen to twenty miniature bombs that bounce around and deal a good amount of damage themselves. Whether you want to use it on a boss or blow up a large group of enemies, large or small, the Bouncer is the tool for the job. Downsides are the initial cost. If you like the Bouncer youll upgrade it in no time. The Bouncer upgrades into the Heavy Bouncer.
Where you get it: Mining Area, Tabora.
Price: 100000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 25
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: Very Low
Power: High

--Minirocket Tube
Description: Again, another Quick Select must. This is your classic RPG, that's rocket-propelled grenade for those who don't know the language. It gives great damage, making up for it's redundancy tenfold. This is the weapon of choice if you're trying to damage really strong enemies. The Minirocket Tube upgrades into the Megarocket Cannon.
Where you get it: Testing Facility, Dobbo.
Price: 50000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 20
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: Medium
Power: High

--Spiderbot Glove--
Description: This gun is useless and an absolute pain to upgrade. Like it's name suggests, this glove throws out a small spider that you can control for up to 30 seconds with the directional buttons. Press circle to detonate, ealing a some good damage to the enemy. You're not going to be able to use this in direct combat, but you need it to collect some Platinum Bolts. The Spiderbot Glove upgrades into the Tankbot Glove.
Where you get it: Megacorp Games, Joba.
Price: 15000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 8
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: Very Low
Power: Medium

--Plasma Coil--
Description: Your electric rifle. This gun has a built in Shock Mod, and it damages the enemy you were aiming at, with leftover electricity jumping to nearby enemies. These enemies take some good damage, too. This should be reserved for the toughest of the crowd, from Jobian Saur-Beasts to Arctic Leviathans. The Plasma Coil upgrades into the Plasma Storm.
Where you get it: Megacorp Games, Joba.
Price: 150000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 25
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: Medium
Power: High

--Hoverbomb Gun--
Description: This weapon is a lot like the Visibomb Gun from R&C1. Basically, it launches a bomb into the air. If you keep circle pressed after firing it, you can control the bomb, moving it left and right. The gun's hard to use, and at long range an absolute nightmare. The gun still does some pretty good damage though. Use it against the strongest enemies without controlling it. Just send it forward and then detonate. Get the upgrade! The Hoverbomb Gun upgrades into the Tetrabomb Gun.
Where you get it: Megacorp Armory, Todano.
Price: 120000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 10
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: Low
Power: High

--Sheepinator--
Description: This weapon is awesome. The Sheepinator releases a small beam of light. If you hold circle and point it at an enemy, watch the bar fill up and the enemy turn into a ... a ... a sheep! The stronger the enemy, the longer it takes to turn the enemy into the said sheep. Therefore it's best to use this against large groups of small enemies. Also, notice that all sheep act as decoys, rendering the Decoy Gun from R&C1 useless. This weapon doesn't even need ammo! The Sheepinator upgrades into the Black Sheepinator.
Where you get it: Megacorp Armory, Todano.
Price: You find it
Ammo Capacity: N/A
Ammo Cost (per round): N/A
Rate of Fire: Varies
Power: N/A

--Shield Charger--
Description: The Shield Charger creates a shield around you. The shield damages those enemies that touch it, and protects Ratchet from any danger in his way. You can see that this ruins the point of the armor. It's still nice to have backup though, so the armor isn't completely useless. When the Shield takes too much damage, it ceases to exist. To give you some idea of its power, you can fight the Ultimate Challenge in the Maktar Arena with only the Shield Charger. You only need 2 Shield Charger ammo to do that, too. The Shield Charger upgrades into the Tesla Barrier.
Where you get it: Flying Lab, Aranos(second time through).
Price: 100000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 5
Ammo Cost (per round): 100
Rate of Fire: N/A
Power: Medium

--Zodiac--
Description: The Zodiac costs a whopping 1.5 million bolts. Is it worth it? No. This gun just kills everyone on the screen. You could do the same thing with all of your other weapons. Why waste your bolts? It is an awesome weapon, but if you have the money, buy something like the RYNO II or the Carbonox armor. And each piece of ammo costs 10,000 frigging bolts! You can't even use the Zodiac against a boss! The Zodiac has no upgrade, obviously.
Where you get it: Flying Lab, Aranos(2nd time).
Price: 1500000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 4
Ammo Cost (per round): 10000
Rate of Fire: Very Low
Power: Very High

--RYNO II--
Description: The RYNO II is worth every single last bolt you have. It's easily the best of the 1000000+ weapons. It fires blue rockets at multiple enemies at a time. The rockets do a lot of damage, destroying everything in their path. And unlike the Zodiac, you can use the RYNO II against bosses. RYNO stands for Rip Ya a New One. Get it? Yeah, I didn't. The RYNO II has no upgrade.
Where you get it: Vukovar Canyon, Barlow(at the antiques shop).
Price: 1000000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 100
Ammo Cost (per round): 50
Rate of Fire: High
Power: Off The Charts High

--Clank Zapper-- (only in Challenge Mode)
Description: This weapon sucks. Basically, Clank now has the ability to fire sparks at your enemies, like the Tesla Barrier. That sounds cool, right. Not really. You can't tell when you've run out of Zapper ammo, and there isn't a rate of fire so much as random sparks shooting out of his antenna at random times. This weapon is an absolute pain to upgrade, it takes forever, since it takes a lot of sparks to kill one enemy. The good this is that you don't need this weapon for the Weapon Envy skill point. Definitely not worth a million bolts. The Clank Zapper upgrades into the Clank Shocker.
Where you get it: Challenge Mode, at any MEGACORP vendor.
Price: 1000000 bolts
Ammo Capacity: 30
Ammo Cost (per round): 100
Rate of Fire: N/A
Power: THE MOST SUCKISH WEAPON EVER!

THAT'S ALL, FOLKS!
