Yep. I finally did it. I got MC3 Remix. Now this guide will cover both games, so
now I can finally answer some of your questions about MC3: Remix! :D! I also did
a little switcharoo on the section dividers, they were a real eyesore I thought.

4.) Overview

This is just about the game and how I got it and how I wrote this FAQ.
Now, I love cars. Any type, any model, any color. I wanted something
that looked good and was fast. Need for Speed Underground 2 didn't
quench my thirst for speed, since many of those cars can barely make
it past 200MPH. Gran Turismo 4 didn't quench my thirst either, because
all of the cars looked like my grandma bought them.
Now, I am a full contributor on Gamefaqs. I have four FAQs and use the
message boards frequently. At the time, I had one FAQ. I was going to
check up on it, when I saw this ad for Midnight Club 3.
I looked at the ad because I thought it looked cool. But, then, the ad
said, "Customize over 50 cars,". I looked at the list, and I saw
Lamborghini. That really caught my attention.
Now, my birthday was coming up. I was grilling my mom to get the game.
I finally got it, it came as a present. I tried it out. I instantly
loved it. I was stuck on a part, though. So, I went to Gamefaqs for
some advice.
All I saw were FAQs with pictures, none using real text and giving
advice. I was purely shocked. I thought then, I'm gonna make a FAQ for
this. I had a little wimpy FAQ, which of course got rejected. After a
weeks worth of refining, I finally made a good FAQ, which got accepted.
Then, the flow of E-mails started instantly. This I expected because I
had the only FAQ if that game, and it was a new game. I was happy.
But then, disaster fell. I was playing, and it suddenly kicked off. I
spent a week trying to fix it, but nothing worked. I finally had an
intense cleaning session, and I finally fixed it.
The story you have just read is the success story of this FAQ.

5.) Real World
Help (DAHK)
Now, car games have to make the cars in their games like they are in
real life (or the car company will kick the game maker's ass). This
section discusses that.

Now, let's start off with weight. Of course, luxary sedans, trucks, and
SUVs will have terrible handling because of their heavy weight. Tuners
and exotics are increadibly light, so they probably will spin out even
if you hit a mailbox (this is especially true with exotics). Sport
Bikes and Choppers have good handling, because you can lean into turns
and take them better, since you only have two wheels to worry about.
The problem with two wheeled vehicles, though, is that they're
EXTREMELY light, making it easier to fall off, resulting in huge time
loss. Muscle cars are OK, nothing bad to say about them. The only thing
you can say is that they aren't the masters in really anything, since
their engine and stuff is from a non-advanced era of car making.

Let's view price now. Exotics will be EXTREMELY expensive,
because they are so powerful and so rare. Tuners, Muscle cars, Trucks,
and SUVs will be cheaper because you're not really paying for much.
Choppers for some reason are kind of expensive. Sport Bikes, though,
are EXTREMELY cheap and you can buy them for less than 20,000$.

Let's take a look at performance and tuning. Of course, we all know the
lower the car, the less air resistance you get? That's why it is good
to put on bumpers that ride low and lower your car's ride height to as
low as it can go. This helps with handling, mostly, but it can affect
speed. Putting air pockets, getting a hood that lets air pass through,
and getting a spoiler are all important for aerodynamics.

Let's talk about wheels. The more rubber on the ground, the better.
What you need to do is widen your tires to as wide as they can go. This
seriously helps with traction. For motorcycles, make sure the tires
you get for your motorcycle has lots of grooves, so it can drive better
off-road. Now, make your tires as thin as possible. This helps with
handling also, as all of the tire is being used, instead of a little.
Use this diagram for help. To make them thin, go to tire profile in
the body shop (under wheels), and make sure the tire is set to 1.

As you can see, the sides of the tire can still touch the road, but,
well, they arent.
This is a rightly inflated tire... The rectangle is the tire LOL

As you can see, all of the tire that can be used is on the ground,
making for better traction.

Let's view jumps. In the air, there is nothing your tires can
touch. This means acceleration and braking do nothing in the air. The
only way you can steer your car is using in air control, discussed
later in this FAQ. Now, there is a way to propel your car. If you use
nitro in the air, the gas coming out of the exhaust should speed you
up.

Let's talk about crashes. Now, it's obvious you don't want to crash.
You may crash sometimes, and this part discussesthat. I don't want to
be too long, so i'll make a chart. 10 is the most damage, 1 is the
least.

Side stuff means the stuff on the sidewalks, tree B. means those trees
that you can't destroy, Dump T. Means those Green Onyx trucks you see,
and Snow T. Are snow trucks with a plow in the front..
As you can see, Exotics, Sport Bikes, and Choppers take immense damage,
while Trucks and SUVs take little damage.

the more tire space on the ground (actual area on the
ground) the better...When a tire is in motion any part
of the tire that is being used either in accelerating
or breaking is NOT used while steering IE if your
putting the brakes on 40 percent of the way, you only
have 60 percent of the actual tire that will be used
for turning, Therefore by reducing your tire size
you are actually reducing the brakes, acceleration,
and cornering ability of any car.
What he's trying to say is keep the tire width at 355mm.

X- Accelerate, also chooses options.
Circle- Brighten headlights, accept a challenge.
Triangle- Change from four or five different viewpoints.
Square- Brake/reverse
Left analog stick- Steers the car, raises viewpoint.
Right analog stick- Accelerate, brake, reverse, moves camera in a
circle.
D-pad- Rotates camers, changes music, toggles between race modes, does
hydraulics, triggers map.
Start- Triggers pause menu.
Select- Triggers Navigation system.
L1- Extends left front wheel, bounces car, transfers weight, allows two
wheel driving.
L2- Extends left rear wheel, look back, bounces car.
L3- Special maneuver, triggers power up.
R1- Triggers handbrake, Extends right front wheel, bounces car.
R2- Triggers nitro and slipstream turbo, extends right rear wheel,
bounces car.
R3- Nothing that I can see.

10.) Races (DHJN)
Here are all of the types of races found in Arcade mode.
Autocross- A circuit race where barriers are used instead of
checkpoints. The competitor with the best lap time wins.
Track- Same as autocross, but you race other people at the same time
instead of trying to beat their times.
Capture the Flag- Cars race to get a flag shown on the map, and then
bring it back to base. Other cars can steal the flag by ramming the car
who has it.
Paint- Checkpoints are laid out all over the city. When a car crosses
a checkpoint, it gets painted in the color the car was given. Other
cars may paint over other people's paint.
Cruise- Just roaming the city.
Frenzy- A race where you race without brakes or special powers. What
you have to do is dodge cars and get points. You get a boost of Nitro
every fifteen seconds. You keep going until time runs out.
Ordered- A race where you race through a series of checkpoints. Each
checkpoint must be passed in the correct order to win. Most career
races are ordered.
Circuit- Same as ordered except there are many laps running through the
same checkpoints until the race is over.
Tag- The last car to reach a checkpoint is it. Cars score points on how
close they are to the it car.
Unordered- Same as ordered, except you can run through the checkpoints
in any order you want.
Here are the race catagories for career mode.
City race- A single race where you get easy money. Symbolized on the
map by a red dot.
Club race- A race where you need a specific car to enter. Symbolized on
the map by a yellow star.
Tournament- A series of races where the person with the most points
wins. Symbolized on the map by a golden trophy.
Street racer- A race where a street racer leads you to a race and you
begin racing. The racer is symbolized on the map by a blue arrow.

(CBVZ)
Here are the power-ups (found in arcade mode).
Disrupter- Blurres a car's vision.
Go- Disables a car's brakes.
Ice- Makes it seem like the car is driving on ice.
Nitro- Adds a nitro boost to your reservoir.
Pulse- Pushes opponents away from you.
Quad Damage- Makes a car take four times the impact he would normally
take, meaning he will eventually have to reset himself, resulting in
huge gain of time.
Reverse steering- Switches around steering controls for an opponent.
Shield- Makes you immune to power ups. Also prevents you from losing
the flag in capture the flag mode.
Stealth- Makes you invisible and invincible for a couple seconds.
Stop- Engages an opponents brake and handbrake instantly.

Each class of car has a special power. These powers will be discussed
here.
*Roar
====
Muscle cars and choppers have it.
What it does is it sends out a sound wave that knocks all other cars
out of the way.
Useful for sending civilian cars into other racers, also for clearing
any spots where traffic will obviously be a problem.
Meter charges when you pull off drifts.
Activated by pressing L3 when fully charged.
*Agro
=====
SUVs, trucks, and luxary sedans have it.
What it does is make the car impervious to damage, and it also sends
any car you hit miles away.
Useful for sending civilian cars into other racers, also for sending
other racers into walls and stuff.
Meter charges when you hit traffic and anything on the sidewalks.
Activated by pressing L3 when fully charged.
*Zone
=====
Tuners, Sportbikes and Exotics have it.
What it does is slow down time, making it easier to maneuver through
small spaces.
Useful for weaving through traffic and small spaces.
Meter charges when you drive without hitting anything.
Activated by pressing L3 when fully charged.
Slipstream Turbo
================
All vehicles have it.
What it does is give you a quick burst of speed.
Useful for speeding ahead of opponents.
Meter charges when you drive closely behind an opponent car.
Activated by pressing R2 when fully charged.
Two Wheel Driving
=================
All vehicles except motorcycles have this.
What it does is transfer your weight to one side, allowing you to
drive on two wheels. Also prevents other opponents getting a
slipstream turbo off slipstreaming your car.
Useful for getting through tight spaces, and preventing other cars
from getting a slipstream turbo.
This is available without charging.
Activated by pressing L1 and pushing the left analog stick left or
right.
Weight Transfer
===============
Motorcycles have this.
What it does is lean you into a turn, making it easier to turn.
Useful for getting through turns fast.
This is available without charging.
Activated by holding the L1 button while taking a turn.
In-Air Control
==============
All vehicles have this.
What it does is tilt your vehicle in the air so it can have a better
landing.
Useful for gaining speed after a jump.
This is available without charging.
Activated by holding the L1 button and tilting the left analog stick.
Drifting
========
All vehicles have this.
What it does is slide your vehicle through a turn.
Useful for taking turns faster.
THis is available without charging.
Activated by tilting the right analog stick in the direction you want

14.) Tips (DSLK)
Here are some tips to get you through the game.
*If you mess up bad during a race, keep going. With decent distance,
you can still catch him. In those situations, use your special powers,
use nitro (if you have it), and get a slipstream turbo.
*Watch for red lights. They mean danger.
*For some reason, even if you have the same car as the other person,
you can still go faster.
*Making your car cool isn't as important as performance. It's better
to have a car that looks like it came from your grandma's garage that
goes 200MPH than one of those cars rappers roll in that is slow as
a snail.
*Police are the worst. They set up road blocks (meaning they block a
road, although you can get around that), ram you into walls, and cut
you off. if your speedometer is flashing red and blue, you have a cop
on your tail. Try ramming the cops into the walls. Also, some of the
cops are in motorcycles, so you can knock them off easily.
*Hold R1 and X at the start line. Then, let go as the race starts.
Why? Your car will start out at 60 MPH instead of 0 that way!
*Some tuning parts are only available to certain car classes.
*You can't slipstream motorcycles.

*I'd recommend to anyone buying the Lancer Evolution vIII when it is
availible. it handles very good and is the cheapest of the class C
Tuners.
From big_upps...
*For a really good boost of speed be sure to get a nice slipstream,
and then when that runs out, hit nitro. If you're on a bike, then do a
wheelie. That's like ultra mega speed boost.
*when you are in the second city, get all the club races and then take,
say, the 300C and go back to the first city. Since your familar with
that city, it's gonna be alot easier in the club races.
From rio_fire...
*If you go to garages and select manage vehicle, you can duplicate it
as many times as you want. After that, you just rename it and it will
show-up in arcade under the name that you gave it. So, you can make 6
differently decked out Evo's and race them against each other. Also,
make sure you wait to duplicate until you have everything that you want
for that vehicle. If you don't wait then you will have too either not
do anything to the car or buy the parts for each version separately.
Remember, just because the vehicle can be customized or upgraded
further in an area doesn't mean that it needs to be, Example: '68 GTO
has the speed it needs w/o the 2nd upgrade for it's class but it does
need more handling, so if it has too much speed for its handling then
leave the speed alone but upgrade handling and acceleration.
From reaper933...
*When on a motorcycle or in a muscle car if you do a catwalk while
still doing your burnout, you'll slow down when your front tire hits
the ground.
*When using roar on a chopper or muscle car if an opponent is near to
your car it will sweep them to the side of the road like it would
traffic (this is effective to make them miss jumps or to crash into a
building). Roar also makes cars swerve to the side of the road, but not
always away from you, so if your on the side of the road cars will
swerve towards you. Roar also makes your car not turn for a second when
it hits and then usually ends us in you doing a powerslide and since
the computer likes to use special moves for you before or during sharp
corners it can be useful to hit L3 right before corners like this(this
is also the case for argo).
*While in zone your car actually handles better but if you turn in too
sharply when you come out of zone, your car won't be moving as fast as
it noramlly would.
*It is usful to save nitro fo crucial times in the race when you hit
other vehicles or walls so you can get back up to speed very quickly.
*The class of car you get affects how many nitros you can receive.
*I find that a slipstream turbo allows you to stay at a high top speed
longer than nitros which brings you back down to speed quicker but with
a slipstream turbo corners and hitting objects slow you down more than
nitros.
*The best tuners, muscle cars, choppers, and SUV/trucks end in class B.
There are only sport bikes and exotics in class A.

*For optional races, the only thing I noticed is that you get a higher
amount of money for winning them, and if you get there in time but you
lose the race, you can still race it later.
*Your nitro's get refilled every lap in a circuit race, so you've got
a lot more nitros to use.
*If you're doing optional reaces in career, you'd use the fastest
vehicle that you have because then the amount of money you'll when you
win is higher.

*Also I have noticed something with the game...I
played at a friend's house and got up to around 30%
then I bought the game when I went home. I had to
beat everything all over again. I recomend beating as many
of the category races as you can (unbeatable street
racers, etc.) before upgrading to newer cars etc. I
made the mistake of getting a gto before I won any of
the muscle car races, and now they are all really a
lot harder.
*I unlocked pearlescent paint in San Diego. I think if you hold
off on beating Vanessa the 2nd set of races, until you
have won as many club races as you can (and I won a
lot of them, more than half of each) you can stay in
San Diego a lot longer and things stay easier.
From Khabibuln...
* If you hit another car or wreck and your car comes to a complete
stop, burnout (R1 + X) for a second or two rather than just pressing X
to accelerate. This will cause you start off anywhere up to 60mph,
seriously cutting back on the acceleration time and the time it takes
to get up to top speed.
*I found that it's better not to spend money on new cars until you
unlock class B (unless there is a car you are just dying to own). You
will win one of each class of car (luxury sedan, chopper, muscle car,
etc.) in the tournament races in San Diego and Atlanta and should have
no problem getting to Detroit with these cars.
*Going along with tip #1, If you have nitro boosts left it doesn't
hurt to use one after you burnout. this should be enough to catch up
with the cars in the rear of the pack. Then it's just a matter of
using slipstream turbo to catch up with the leader.
*At the starting line when you hold R1 and X to burnout, try letting

If you do it correctly you should hear you tires squeal at a higher
pitch and you car will leave the starting line and instantly accelerate
up to 40mph more than just holding x
E.g. I am in San Diego with a 300c with all level 2 upgrades. With a
normal burnout (just pressing x) I start off with a pause in
acceleration around 60mph. When I do the quick release and press on
R1 I leave the starting line and instantly accelerate to 95mph.

*Everybody talks about selling cars, but you never have to. I beat the
game without selling a single car because you win so many. And no, I
didn't use any of the city races. I used all career to get my money.
The only cars I had to buy were SRT4, 69 Camaro, 98 Supra, and the
McLaren F1 LM. All the rest were won.
*A little tip if you guys didn't know, never quit a race just 'cause
you aren't winning. Get to know the course. You still get money up to
third place, though.

15.) Damn AI
(SPNH)
This section is all about AI (artificial intelligence).
Now, you may think, "Why the hell is that car always there?", or, "How
does he do that over and over?". Well, the answer is simple. It's
controlled by AI. See, the path of every object (drawbridges, cars,
opponents, etc.) is predetermined before obstacles are set up.
So, basically, the path of everything is determined on a virtual flat
cement bed. Then, everything else is added in. If everything were flat,
then the AI would take the same path every time. Now, with added
obstacles such as buildings and trees, the AI might hit something and
change it's path temporarily. Likewise, if you just stop and traffic
is sitting there, the whole flow of AI traffic will be distrupted,
since AI traffic is meant to always follow traffic laws. You may find
that the game pauses; this is because of the complexity of the AI
system in this game. Some AI can go through the whole city in one trip,
and continue doing that for quite a while! Although, some AI just go in
brief circles the whole time. That's why there is always traffic in the
way, opponents often times don't crash, etc. Now, like any other normal
AI system, there are glitches. Some times you can pass right through a
wall and not be harmed, and the game not be changed. Glitches can also
freeze up a game completely, therefore messing up the system and
requiring you to start over. Now you know as much as you need to about
AI.

Force Pro (WHMG)
The Logitech Driving Force Pro is not just for Gran Turismo 4! Plug it
in to your PS2, slap in MC3, and watch as you can drive a real wheel!
Often times, this will make it more complex. Here are a few tips;
*Watch your wires. If you try to press gas and any plug falls out of
the PS2 or the DFP, then you can lose anything from throttle to your
cruise.
*Try not to be jerky with the wheel. If you jerk a lot your car will
lose control and you will have no power.
*If you wallride, your wheel will then steer itself to the direction of
the wall. How do you fix this? DON'T HIT THE WALLS.
*R1 and L1 are behind the wheel, towards the top. They are no where
near the front of the wheel.
*Be careful when using L3/R3. Always remember that they are at the
bottom of the wheel. Same with start and select.

then this is the section for you! Just take a look and find your
solution to any problem you have...

Just race around the highway in Detroit a few times without hitting
other cars and going as fast as you can.

Easy. Just go back and forth through the intersections using handbrake
(R1). That should solve it.
-----Other opponents are getting in the way! How can I stop them?-----
Hop in a Truck/SUV/Luxary car. Go around the highway using agro and
shoot cars at other various cars. It's fun ^_^.

18.) A Good Way
to Start (NCSX)
Here is a good way to start the game.
Okay, now, lets start off by buying a car. I think we should buy the
Dodge SRT-4. We need something that can accelerate, after all. Then,
buy as many parts as you can with the money left over, just make sure
they're performance parts. Then, you get rocketed into a race. This
shouldn't be too hard, since you have the car with the best
acceleration there. After that, challenge Bishop (find him on the map)
to a race. Beat his crew, then win the tournament. You get a Chrysler
300C, DUB edition. This is important, because it performs nicely, and
looks SWEET! Now, this isn't tuned, so take the money from the
tournament and tune the Chrysler. You shouldn't need parts to make it
look good, so that's some money saved. Then, do the same with Carlos.
He has a muscle car, so better watch out. Once he's done, take on the
tournament. Take the '57 Belair you get and tune the crap out of it.
After that, do the club races. Then, hop back into your SRT-4, and
race Vanessa. Once that's done, take on the tournament, then take out
the club races you can enter. After that, you should be OK!

I found that it really helps to buy a tuner and beat Vanessa in the
beginning. Then win the tournament to get the Lexus. Sell the old car
for about 20,000 and upgrade the crap out of it. This should give you
an excellent car to start with and allows you to easily beat other
people.

I think you should take the IS300 you win and race about 15 open (red
smoke) races, save up money, tune up the IS300 as much as the game
will let you, then keep using that car for all the tuner races and to
gain money in the open races (I used it to the last tuner races in the
second city ). And then when you need money, just go back to the first
city with the IS300 and race the open races.

personally, the hardest part of the game was beating the muscle cars
portion, because I put that off until the end of the game....I would
suggest starting out with a muscle car, and beating that portion first.

The easiest way to win races is to start
out with the SRT4 and then win the muscle Bel Air...Tune the crap out
of it and you should be on a good start.

Another good way to start is buying the Chevy Monte Carlo '78. Still a little
money bonus. But, as Carlos is already in San Diego as you start.
You'll have a great advantage. Like Thee said in his guide No matter if an
opponent has the same car. You'll always go faster. Still hes easy to beat so
the cash reward you get(3 races) use it all up on Preformance BUT NO nitro yet.
Since you have a slighty slower car than the class D Tuners and Luxurys leave
the nitro behind untill you got your car ready.
As you've beaten Carlos. Take the Muscle as another huge advantage. The ROAR!
Carlos unlocks the American Royalty Car Club. Race 3 races of them so you got
the Spoilers and the ROAR Special.
Beat Bishop, Vanessa and Phil with your advantage: The Bad Handling and the
Roar. luxurys have a bad accelaration. So Bishop shall be easy. Tuners have a
crappy Top but a good handling, so use alot of roars with her.
Phil.. You'll have to laugh about that. What happened to me was ... 4 out of 4
races he came in last since the Roar had kicked him off his bike constantly.
Now, Beat the Balboa Park Tournament, Stage Tournament and the S.D City
Tournament and you'll have a shiny Dubbed out 300C, A Lexus IS300 and a Chevy
1957 Bel Air. Keep them both and if you want to do the Unbeatable Street Racer
Club challenge tune the hell out of the IS300. Take the Cuevito as further
vehicle overall(Beat Phil 4 out of 4 for the bike as reward). I love the bike.
I have over 300 race wins with it.
I did this, now i have 600,000$+ Cash, a full garage(30 cars), Class D to A
Vehicles and 66% game completion. Thanks to that.

20.) I Didn't Do
It! (DUHS)
I was bored one day. I decided to cause some destruction. Found out
some tips from that little series of shenanigans, and now here's a
section about it. You can do this is you're bored, or if you can't win
a race.
Remember to watch out! There are numerous situations where you could
end up being the victim instead of the villian.
The simplest one is just to ram them as hard as you can. Since these
people are afraid, they might run away (they won't dodge it if you're
coming at 500MPH at their side). This is only when you two are driving
side by side. It's funny seeing them hit walls (or go off freeway
bridges, that's funny as hell).
Another is to use agro. How? Duh. Kick it up, and hit 'em dammit! A fun
way to do this is to try to send them into other objects!
Another way is to use roar. Don't use it on straights, it does about
nothing. Use it on, say, a jump. They will miss the jump, have to go
way back, accelerate, and make the jump. Too bad you're not going to be
around for the hilarity!
Another funny thing is to make them miss a turn. How, you ask? Well,
rear end them as hard as you can before a turn. They will be going so
fast, they couldn't possibly make the turn. This would also slow you
down for the turn, so it's a good deal.
Another good way is to get the cops on their ass. This takes a while
to perfect, and doesn't always work, but it's funny to have AI cars
taken down by the NYPD. Just ram them into a police car, that should
do.

Try using Roar when or right before going over a free-way on the
over-passes or along side it. Since there is often a break-able fence
there, you can sometimes force AI opponents down into the highway.

Alright, this is the interactive section. What does that mean? It means
you can show off the most cars you have, the most powerful car you have,
the most money you had, ect. You will get all credit, but if someone
sends in a better record than yours, then yours will be replaced with
the better record. To destroy his record, just comply with the
guidelines and beat your opponent. (F.E. You put 100,000$. Someone
E-mails me that he has 200,000$ . You have to get more money than him,
or you lose the spot. You may E-mail me to ask if the record is better
or not)

A. I don't think so. Try customizing it again on the other memory card.
2.) Q. I'm 83% done with the game and I still have not gotten the body
upgrades for the 96 Impala. Can you tell me at what point of the game I
earn those upgrades for that specific car? (Dat_one_robby)
A. YOu can't earn them by percentages. You need to enter certain races
to get the parts. I think the race is in San Diego.
3.) Q. When do you get spinners? (Sxyitalianguyxxx)
A. After the tenth or eleventh tuner or luxary sedan club race in
Atlanta. Lean more towards the luxary sedan club race.

A. You need to beat to beat all four or five first racers in Detroit
(I don't really remember how much racers you had to beat). This answer

I've been trying every race that I can but they won't unlock!

A. I'm not sure what class the Viper is, but I'm guessing a Class B
Tuner. Now, you have a tuner car. Go around San Diego, Atlanta, and
Detroit and make sure that you didn't miss one. What the common problem
is is that people miss the club races, since, if you don't have the
car, the star is hidden in gray. Also, check for street racers. The
performance parts are supposed to only be won in races.
6.) Q. Hey, I can't seem to beat the first unordered race against
Lamont. How can I beat them when they know exactly where to go?

A. Simple. Just make sure YOU also know where to go. What you need to
do is follow the lead car until you know EXACTLY where to go to finish.
Then, get a slipstream turbo and pass him.
7.) Q. When do I get the 300C DUB Edition? (Inferno_Warrior)
A. Beat Bishop in San Diego. Then, enter the tournament right after.
After winning the tournament, you should have the 300C DUB Edition.
8.) Q. how do I get the typable codes for the cheat menu in options?

A. Dude, I don't know. Go to Cheat Codes and Secrets under Midnight
Club 3 DUB edition (this is on gamefaqs, not the game). You should find
the link next to FAQs and guides. They have a whole crapload of cheats.
Don't rely on them too much, though, I tried a lot of those codes and
they didn't work for me. You really shouldn't need cheats, though.
9.) Q. I have now completed 30% of the game and are currently in
Atlanta. I am stumped on my first SUV races, (The ones with the stars).
My Cadillac Escalade has all level one parts and no matter how good or
flawless I race I can't keep or catch up with the other racers. They
seem to be faster than me even when I use nitrous or when I get the
chance to slipstream. Can you help and maybe give me some advice?

A. Yes, I can. Now, every time you upgrade your horsepower a certain
amount, the skill level of the AI drivers changes. F.E. If you take a
Hummer H1 against a Pontiac GTO, then the GTO will have little skill,
although, if you take a McLaren up against a GTO, the GTO will seem
like Mario Andretti's driving it. You're probably on the border. Just
keep trying, and you should win. If you have problems, sell the
Escalade and get a better performing SUV. If you still have problems,
then just forget about the SUV races for a while and catch your breath.
I had a problem, too, so your not alone.
Alternatve from big_upps...
Sell the esclade and buy the Benz. It's better to get skilled with the
SUVS because they handle odd. Drive around the city at high speeds and
just use it in all the open races as you can. You know, practice makes
perfect!
10.) Q. Do you have a new walkthrough for Midnight Club 3?

A. No, I don't. Sorry. What I do have is an assisting guide to start
the game. I don't believe I have enough information to write a whole
game walkthrough. I could help you out using tips, though.
11.) Q. I would like to know if the game is worth buying.

A. Actually, yes, it is. Although, in NFSU2, you have to customize
cheap cars. In Midnight Club 3 DUB edition, you can do the same thing
to a Mclaren as you can to a Miata in NFSU2. It's definetly worth the
buy.
12.) Q. How do I give you car stats? (sadpanda103)
A. Go to the garage. Then, go into the performance shop. At the
bottom-left hand corner, there should be a bar graph, with numbers
under it. Give me those numbers.
13.) Q. Can you unlock the police Motorcycle? (Pipechapa)
A. You get the san diego bike after winning all San Diego, Atlanta, and
Detroit tournaments. You also get one after completely beating the game
(100%).
14.) Q. I beat both Bishop and Vanessa in the three race series, but I
didn't get the cars like you said....am I doing the right thing or

A. Did you enter the tournaments that popped up after you beat the
racers? Do that, win, and get the cars.
15.) Q. I just recieved the LexusIS300, and have put about 8,000 into
it.. but with the SRT-4 I have put a lot more. I'm doing the tournament
now which will unlock the 300C...whats ur opinion on what I should do?
Sell Dodge SRT4, and IS300 and dump all the money into 300c?

A. No. You have two tuners, sell one of those. Keep the 300C and either
the Lexus or the Dodge. The reason is if you sell one of those, you
will have to buy another tuner for the tuner club race.
16. Q. I was wondering when the pearlescent paint is unlocked.

A. After a race in Atlanta. Not sure which one, but I think it's either
the Tuners or the Luxary Sdan club races.

A. Yep. You haven't won the parts yet. The race to win 'em is in San
Diego, I think.
18. Dude, the first 3 days playing the game I got 50% done, and then it
got erased. Then, I didn't play it that much so i got back up to 29%.

A. Two things could have happened.
1.) Someone went into browser and erased the game save

A. I don't want to give spoilers out, but a little piece of advise from
me is that your first car should be the Dodge SRT-4, since it is the
fastest.
20.) Q. Ok, I am in Atlanta currently and when i pull out a luxury,
sport bike, tuner, anything there will be about 3 or 5 stars for each
on the map. So, I go to one of the stars and i'll beat it to race 10 of
14, and then all 5 stars will go away on the map for that certain type
of car. Will this affect the percentage of the game for me or will I be

A. Ahh, dude, that's supposed to happen. Each star represents a race.
For example, there are three stars on the board. You go to a star and
race three races. The stars are gone because you already raced the race
the star was representing.

A. After you can buy a better tuner, which may be before the end of the
city.

I used it up until the 11th tuner racer and it beat ALL of Atlanta and
San Diego for me! Just get good with that. Use it, don't sell it, until
you can buy a Class B tuner. I got the Elise and that just handled the
rest. Also, since I am a Tuner/bike racer, those are all I really use.
I don't know if this helps, but tell people not to win the Skyline it's
not worth driving, maxed parts and stuff. Yes, it is good for class C,
but that is it my Elise can burn it. SO I don't know if this counts as
a record or anything but taking a beggining car and geting all the way
up to detriot and beating the first racer but yes I think that as a tip
is to keep the SRT4 until you can't win anymore. Like I said, it got me
totally through the first two cities, and after that you have saved
major money by not buying new cars, then you can buy the Viper and tune
that up.

A. Race in San Diego (not the city races), until you see you can race
Phil. Once you can race him, do so. After you beat him, a tournament
should come up. Win that, and you got yourself a chopper, boy!
32.) Q. I was starting in San Diego, and entered I believe CIty Tournament
where there are 14 races in one and 15 in another. Each one I entered,
it say Race 1 out of 14, for ex. When you win menu goes to "continue
next race and other options." I get to and win Race 5 and then I go
back to Cruise mode in City. Is there something wrong with my game?

A. That's supposed to happen. Tournaments and club races are split up
between the three cities, so you're not bored to death racing fifteen
races in a row.

body or and I still get unavailable when trying upgrade the rims to 21" on the

A. FOr the performance parts, the problem ihat they already have the upgrades.
I mean, the Mclaren F1 LM can't be upgraded more than 0.01 points, so there's
no point in upgrading. For your second question, the car's are either too low
or they have too big tires to get the rims that big.
37.) Q. I was wondering about the rockstar logos you are
supposed to look for in each city. What happens when
you find them? are they worth the trouble of looking
for?
A. I'm not sure what you get, but I advise beating the game before
worrying about those.

After getting the twelve in San Diego, you get the rockstar flag vinyl.
After getting the twelve in Atlanta, you get the Rockstar license
plate. After getting the twelve in Detroit, you get the race starter
girls as motorcycle riders.

A. Pick the car you have that has the best handling. A sport bike would
not be a bad idea.

A. Beat Carlos. THen, win the tournament that comes right after. That
should give you a Bel Air.

A. Use a sport bike, turn while holding the L1 button. If the turn
still bugs you, then, use handbrake (R1). There is also a brake button.

A. Either keep the Escalade and tune that, or sell the Escalade and get
the G500.

My ideas are running out, this is just for enjoyment.
1.) Define Gravity (submitted from Hart Attack0389)
If you find a huge jump on any level, go to that spot with either a
sport bike, a tuner, or an exotic.
If you have a sport bike-- use zone just as you reach the top of the
jump. use the in-air controls, and you can do either a backflip,
frontflip, or a spin (usually there is only enough time to do a 360)
If you have a tuner or exotic-- do the same thing as w/ a sport bike.
Spins usually work best. I've done a 1440 while in an exotic.
The biggest ramp I've found so far is in San Diego. It is in the
military base, by the big ship. There is a building that has a missile
hanging from the ceiling. Use that ramp...and do the flips or spins...

Try driving on 2 wheels for the McLaren F1 LM, the sparks look
sweeeeeet!!!!
3.) Circle=ramp (submitted from Hart Attack0389)
Go to the bottom of the detroit map, and there will be a street that
goes underground. There's an archway lookin thing that is a circle on
one of the entrances. the "ramp" is actually the arch, but if you ride
up it at an angle, it's kinda like a ramp... Ride it on a sport bike.
Like I said, cheap fun.

Try to go around the city loke a normal person. Stay behind everyone
else, stop at stoplights, the works. See how hard that is after you
go at about 200MPH around the city.

Ever seen matrix 2? Well, try to act like trinity on the sports bike.
Get an Abrilia Mille Factory, get some cops on your ass, and speed
around the highway, do the wrong way doing the same thing, then exit
with a 155 degree turn on an exit.

a) It's a **Funny Stuff** but it doesnt happen always because i tried it
more than 20 times but i did it only 2 times & it's difficult.
Let's come to the point **you have seen baseball arena in detroit**
when racing in any race you have to enter this ground with your
opponent's car smash his car at any side of the wall his car
should be not straight but in horizontal direction & your car should be
straight in vertical direction & your car should be in speed + you
have a vehicle with **Agro** Using **Agro** the car will start
running on Stadium walls for a while it almost do a half round of Stadium.
(I did it with the jeep which i got in prize after finishing SUV \

ASCII is a list of characters accepted by Gamefaqs. If you look at the
bottom of the FAQ, you can see what the characters are. ASCII art is
making a picture from those characters. If you want to make ASCII art
but don't know how, search "ASCII Generator" in google or yahoo or
whatever and click the first link.
c) What is AI **artificial intelligence** (mentioned in FAQ) I didn't
understood?
AI is a computer program built into the game. It controls what the
opponents do and what civilian cars do. Have you ever seen the matrix?
Remember the agents? Kinda like that, except this AI doesn't feature
much emotion.

with map same as the games map (i mean from which website i can get) ?

It's under maps and charts on Gamefaqs. This is on the same page as
the FAQ list that my FAQ is on. All three of those are maps of the R*
Logos.

A disc doctor is a mechanism that gets rid of scratches and stuff like
that. You can get one at a Best Buy or Radio Shack might have one.
f) What do you mean by saying that Midnight club 3 distructed peoples
consoles or game stucks or what you were you trying to say
(mentioned in FAQ) **Please Answer**?
Well, from my experience, after playing a bit of MC3, the game just
stopped working. It kept glitching and getting stuck and freezing to
the point where I couldn't play it. It took me about 3 weeks of
constantly using Disc Doctor to fix it.

RIght next to the KB count on my FAQ on the FAQ list, there should be

section is devoted to you people who want to take a crack at answering the
extreme wall of text that has come to be known as the FAQs section. Anyone can
try.

1) Can your reader race his vehicles against his brother's cars in MC3?
Absolutely. From the main menu, he chooses Arcade. From there, he chooses the
city, then the type of race, then the name of the race and whether he wants to
race 1 or 2 player. He chooses 2 player and then picks a vehicle to drive, then
player 2 picks a vehicle and the race begins!
2) At 83% completion, one of your friends can't access body mods for the '96
Impala SS.
That's because there are no body mods for the '96 Impala SS. You will find that
other vehicles, like the '49 Fleetline, the Viper and all the exotics, only
allow you to mod the rims and tires in the body shop.
3) When do you get spinners?
Should I assume that means rims that have spinning caps? If so, you are awarded
new rims as you win hookmen races. Racing hookmen (like Vanessa, Bishop,
Carlos, Phil and so on) in each city is the fastest way of unlocking all
performance parts and aftermarket mods. If memory serves, you'll be able to
unlock a few rims with spinning caps midway through Atlanta and have the really
cool ones by the time you beat all the Detroit hookmen.
4) There are no more races and your friend still hasn't unlocked A Class
vehicles?
You have to beat all San Diego and Atlanta hookmen to unlock Detroit, then you
have to beat Leo, Roy, Spider, Kioshi and Angel to unlock A Class vehicles. You
might even have to beat Ceasar once too (you face him twice in Detroit, and he
is tough). It depends on how many club events and tournaments you've already
won, but that is the normal process from my experience.
5) Why has your friend not unlocked performance parts for the Viper?
The Viper is a B Class tuner, so if you follow the process of beating all
hookmen, you will unlock level 2 performance parts for B Class vehicles midway
through Detroit.
6) Your friend is having trouble beating Lamont in an unordered race:
Unordered races, like Scavenger (the one in Atlanta your friend is having
trouble with), always gave me fits too. Your advice is good, but your friend
should know that even if he/she knows one way of completing the race route
there may be a shorter route if he/she found shortcuts. If you are unable to
win with a certain race route, abandon it and find another one. Like you said,
follow the lead car and see what route he takes. But don't try so hard to win,
just learn the race routes...winning will come with practice and an
understanding of each city.
7) How does your friend unlock the 300C DUB Edition?
Your answer was right on. Beat Bishop, then win the Balboa Park Tournament.
8) Cheat codes?
First of all, cheating is for pansies. Plus, MC3 doesn't have any worthwhile
cheats. If you have to cheat to win races or unlock vehicles, you're a fricken
pansy.
9) Your friend completed 30% of the game and is having fits with the Escalade
EXT winning races in the Big Playas Tournament:
Racing any vehicle with only level 1 performance parts is never a good idea.
Win more hookmen races in Atlanta, and you'll unlock level 2 performance parts
for C Class vehicles (which the Escalade EXT is) THEN you will dominate the SUV
tournament in your Cadillac! The same goes for all vehicle types. It's better
to race a fully-modded D class vehicle than a level 1-modded C class one.
You made a good point. It is far easier to win the Big Playas Tournament in the
G500 Benz if your friend can afford it. The Escalade EXT is a beast, but it's
difficult to win races with. The G500 has more body roll, but it is quicker AND
faster than the Cadillac...and all the other SUV/Trucks in its class. If you
want to crush your competition in trucks, wait for the B Class vehicles and buy
the new GT750.
10) Do you have a walk-through of the game MC3?
Good answer. There is no good walk-through in existence, and the Strategy Guide
for MC3 is worthless. It is full of mistakes. Just play the game.
11) Is MC3 worth buying?
Good answer. If you like your games authentic...real world cities, real
soundtrack, real licensed vehicles...then, you will enjoy Midnight Club 3, both
the original DUB Edition and Remix. Remix is kinda like the original with the
training wheels torn off! Its races are much more challenging, so it's not
meant for the casual gamer but for true MC3 fans.
12) How does your friend give you the car stats?
You can find the available cash stat in the garage but for car stats your
friend needs to go to the Career menu then select stats. This provides overall
game stats, city stats and at the bottom Vehicle Stats. It shows what vehicles
you've raced in Career mode, the number of wins and miles driven. If you choose
Overall Stats, it shows top speed, wheelie distance, all sorts of wild stuff.
In Career stats, it shows number of overall wins and restarts, skill rating,
what percentage of each tournament you've completed and so on. At the bottom of
Career Stats it shows how much $ you've earned.
13) How do you unlock the police motorcycle?
You win both the Original Riders Bike Club Tournament and the Chopper of America
Bike Club Tournament. I'm not sure where you got your answer.
14) Your friend beat Vanessa & Bishop but didn't win any vehicles:
Your answer is right on! Your friend needs to win the San Diego City and Balboa
Park tournaments to unlock the Lexus IS300 and Chrysler 300C respectively.
15) With both the SRT4 and IS300 already in his garage, your friend wants to
know if he should dump both cars and put all his $ into the 300C:
Your friend will require a tuner for the Unbeatable Street Racers tournament, so
if he sells both SRT4 and IS300, he'll have to buy another tuner later. Your
answer was good. You don't need both tuners. You might also tell your friend
that once he unlocks the Benz SL55 AMG in the San Diego DUB tournament, he can
crush everyone in the Luxury Rollers Car Club tournament, although the 300C will
make it difficult to beat other luxury class vehicles. This is a wide open
question, and each gamer should make up their own mind about their street racing
career. That's the whole point of the game.
16) When is pearlescent paint available?
You unlock pearl paint in San Diego after beating all the hookmen including
beating Vanessa twice. It has nothing to do with tuner races or luxury class
races (or any other vehicle class). You further your career progression by
winning hookmen races. In Atlanta, you will unlock color shift paint.
17) Your friend bought a motorcycle, an El Camino and Lancer and can't tune
them:
Your friend probably just unlocked the C Class vehicles but not level 1
performance parts for them. He needs to win additional hookmen races in Atlanta
and Detroit to unlock level 1 and level 2 performance parts. As far as the
motorcycle, he probably just unlocked the Ducati SS1000 in the Hotlanta
tournament. This is a B Class vehicle, so level 1 parts will not be available
until the final Atlanta hookman race, but your friend shouldn't try to race the
bike until level 2 parts are available midway through the Detroit hookmen races.
18) Your friend completed 50% of the game and it got erased:
The only way I know of to erase a game career is clicking Y from the start menu.
I have an XBox, so I can't comment on how the PS2 works.
19) Advice to a starter on the MC3 basics:
You're right. The SRT4 is the best starter vehicle. It's not only the fastest
and best handling of the group, it also drifts well. That's perfect for the
autocross races. Other advice to beginners could be to allow your opponents to
blast off the starting line and get a lead. You don't always have to be in
first place. You just need to keep the location of the end flare in the back of
your mind, so you can gain the lead before the end of the race. And, just
because you see a ramp doesn't necessarily mean you have to use it. Most ramps
you will find send you off your route and often times into buildings or parked
cars if you hit them with too much speed or at the wrong angle.
20) When your friend competes in a club event (dedicated to a specific vehicle
class), the star icons disappear on the HUD map:
Your answer is correct. It's supposed to do that. You're competing in a
tournament. You're no longer in Cruise Mode.
21) How do you lower your skill rating?
Not totally sure I understand why anyone would choose to LOWER their skill
rating...but if you wish, you can either 1) lose races or 2) win races but run
into a lot of stuff and wreck a lot.
22) When is it a good time to trade in a starter vehicle you are tired of?
If you race the SRT4 for a while and get tired of it, you can upgrade to the
Lexus IS300 by winning the San Diego City tournament. It's quicker than the
SRT4 but not faster (they are equally fast). If the IS300 isn't cool enough,
your friend should wait for the C Class vehicles and upgrade. But, like I said
before, he/she should not race any vehicle until level 2 performance parts are
available. Otherwise, the competition will push him all over the street no
matter how good he is.
Kamikaze had a good point, but he doesn't have the record. I won the Unbeatable
Street Racers tournament with the SRT4 many times and beat every hookman with it
in one of my previous careers. You should be able to win the tuner tournament
in a D Class tuner like the SRT4 or IS300. With a C Class vehicle like the
Elise or any of the B Class tuners, you should be able to clean up if you
practice enough.
23) Do opponents get harder as you upgrade?
No. They seem to always drive fully-modded vehicles. That is why you need to
master moves like Zone, Agro, Roar, slipstream turbo, drifting and so on.
24) Can you race the same opponents in the same city more than once?
You can compete in City races indefinitely, but hookmen races, city tournaments
and club events go away once you win them. When you complete the game, only
City races will remain. They are still very fun and challenging. Any race
worth more than $11,000 will require your A game.
25) How much does the '69 Camaro Z28 cost?
You were close. It costs $49,900. It's my favorite MC3 vehicle.
26) Can you unlock the Skyline by racing in San Diego repeatedly?
You were correct. Your friend has to complete the Unbeatable Street Racers
tournament (5 races in San Diego, 5 races in Atlanta, 3 races in Detroit) to
unlock the Skyline.
27) How can your friend unlock level 2 parts for his 300C?
Beat Vanessa, Carlos, Phil and Bishop in San Diego, then face Vanessa when she
returns in a modded Eclipse and beat her in 2 races of 3.
28) How can your friend unlock C Class vehicles?
Beat Vanessa, Carlos, Phil and Bishop in San Diego. You'll unlock C Class
vehicles midway through beating Bishop (or whomever you decide to race 4th out
of the hookmen).
29) What is the purpose of wheelie bars?
You're right, mainly for looks. With muscle cars, they keep the front end from
popping and gives you a small increase in takeoff speed.
30) How can your friend get his '57 BelAir to compete with his SRT4 and 300C?
You're right, he'll need level 2 performance parts. Fully modded, the BelAir is
faster, but the SRT4 and 300C will still be quicker off the line and handle
better. They are all D Class vehicles and will never be as strong at finishing
as those you unlock later in your career progression through winning tournaments
and unlocking other vehicle classes.
31) Your friend is in San Diego and wants a bike:
You're right...as long as your friend wants a chopper, he can beat Phil (4
races) to unlock the Cuevito. Unfortunately, the Hotmatch Cuevito is a slow,
poor handling chopper that won't make winning races easy for your friend. If
your friend wants a sport bike, the Ducati SS1000 is unlocked in Atlanta after
winning the Hotlanta tournament. The better choppers and sport bikes are
unlocked as the B Class becomes available...midway through Detroit as you
continue to win hookmen races.
32) Why are there 5 races out of 14 then it returns to Cruise Mode?
Your answer was perfect.
33) What do you do with $184k if you haven't unlocked A Class vehicles?
Save your money, win more hookmen races, and when the A Class vehicles are
unlocked in Detroit, buy the Lamborghini Gallardo. It's slow off the line but
very fast and easy to handle.
34) When do you get performance upgrades to the Ducati SS1000?
Win all hookmen races in San Diego and Atlanta, then beat 4 hookmen (your
choice) in Detroit.
35) When can I unlock more sport bikes?
You were right...sort of. Win all hookmen races in all 3 cities and you'll not
only unlock A Class sport bikes but level 2 performance parts!
36) Why can't I mod the body of my A Class vehicles?
The game does not allow body mods for A Class vehicles, and there are limits to
how large you can make your rims. Why would anyone want 21" rims on an exotic
anyway? Trust me, 18" rims on 2" Falken tires, and you'll have the edge in
every race in By Invitation Only.
37) What is the point in collecting the Rockstar logos in each city?
Your friend had it right...collect 12 and you get Rockstar flag logos for the
doors of your cars, collect 24 and you get DUB, TIS and Rockstar license plates,
collect all 36 and you get to pick any race starter and have them ride your
chopper or sport bike. I think it's worth it just to watch Diane (Atlanta race
starter) ride a Ducati 999R.
38) Any advice on how to win the Detroit City tournament (autocross race in
Detroit)?
You need blistering speed. If you are good on a sport bike, give it a try...but
turn well before a corner or you'll send your rider flying! My advice would be
an exotic. I've had luck with the Chrysler ME 4-12 and the Pagani Zonda. Keep
the throttle wide open and just use the handbrake around corners. Use the first
pass to get oriented, then go for it all in the second pass (you get 3 passes to
log the best time).
39) How do I win the '57 BelAir?
Your answer was perfect. Beat Carlos, then win the San Diego Stage tournament.
40) Which car is the El Diablo Rigid?
Your answer was perfect. The Rigid is a West Coast Choppers chopper in the B
Class vehicles.
41) How do I win the Hotlanta tournament (autocross races)?
A good car for this is the SRT4. The trick is to always focus on the inside
edge of the corner you're going into (your instinct is to look at the outer edge
instead so you don't plow into it). Keep the throttle wide open and hit the
handbrake as you enter a 90 degree turn then drift through the turn. Don't
worry if you tap the cement walls. Just keep the hammer down! If you prefer
rear-wheel-drive cars, try the IS300 instead. Autocross races are relatively
easy with a little practice.
42) Do the Knock Off wheels spin?
If we're talking about the Knock Off rims available in the body shop, you're
right.
43) Which truck should I buy in C Class vehicles?
Good advice. Keep the Escalade EXT or sell it and buy the Benz G500. I also
enjoy driving the Hummer H2, though it is slower than the others.
44) How do you unlock an airplane engine?
Someone is smoking something and not sharing it with us. Some of the exotics
in this game sound like a jet (testdrive the Saleen S7) and the Remix vehicles
like the '63 Vette sound like they're ready to take off...but...uh...
45) How come some luxury class cars have agro and others zone?
You're correct again. Some luxury sedans have agro, others zone, which explains
why when you win 3 races in the Luxury Rollers Car Club tournament, you unlock
both Agro & Zone...just depends on which luxury vehicle you drive as to which
move you can use during a race.
46) Can you make upgrades to your vehicles sound system?
You're right again...kind of an oversight of Rockstar games if you ask me.
While it's cool to have a pimped out ride, the key is how kicking your stereo
is.
47) What is with the various times posted for autocross races?
You're right. Before an autocross race begins, you are given the time to beat.
During the race, your HUD tells you how you're doing in relation to the time
to beat (red for time you need to make up and green for time you're ahead of
the best posted time).

This section is purely for people who want to make more out of Gamefaqs
by contributing. This may not be the same for all sites, mainly for
Gamefaqs.
First, go to notepad, under accessories in the start menu. This is
given to Microsoft users, so if you don't have it, you can always
download one. Once you have Notepad up and running, make your FAQ.
I suggest some ASCII art (art with the text) to brighten up your FAQ.
Once you've typed it, save it.
If you're registered to Gamefaqs, all you need to do is login. To
register yourself, at the upper left hand corner, there should
be a login box. Click sign me up. Then, give them your info, and you
should be in!
Once registered, click contribute at the top of the page. A page titled
Contributor Central should come up. Scroll down and click submit a
file. Then, type in the game, and the system it's for. A list of games
should come up. Click the one you want, and then another page should

Drive your car and stop beside a pedestrian (DO NOT HIT THEM). After a
few seconds they should start looking at your car. They may get on
their knees to admire your rims, or walk around your whole car.

Screwed PS2
*I actualy somehow killed a new PS2 with this game and San Diego no
longer works for me. I tried cleaning it once and it worked for awhile, then
and it started freezing again. Still haven't figured out why.

-Easy Optional Races
You can adjust game difficulty on how many of the "Optional Races"
( red flares ) you do. The more you do, the harder tournaments will be.
For example, me and my sis are on the same tournament, she has done
almost none of the "Optional Races" and I've done quite a few. Her
opponents are very slow cars, Golfs, Ecplipses and other slow POS's.
And I'd be racing Lambo's, Saleens, Skylines and etc.

Here are tips on finding them.
Atlanta: When you get out of the garage immediately turn to the right.
You will see a glass. Crash through to find the logo.
Atlanta: Drive to the bottom of the map. Look for a building with a
large globe. There is a logo that reads "Nitro Cola". A logo is located
directly under it.
Atlanta: Drive to the graveyard in the south of the map (near the
highway). There is a logo at the east part of the building.
Atlanta: Follow the highway until you reach a place with some
construction work. Drive off the highway (to your right side if driving
north), and look for a tank station. Follow the building around and you
will see a ramp/road going up. Get some speed, fly over, and you will
land on the roof of the building. The logo should be directly in front
of you.
Atlanta: Follow the highway until you see a building with a yellow sign
on top that reads "DJ Smalls". Across the road is a small parking area
where you can see a sign on another building that reads "Spike". To the
left of that building is a basketball court and a logo.
Atlanta: Follow the building where your garage is located. Drive through
the skeleton's mouth and you will find a logo.
San Diego: Find the aircraft carrier and locate the ramp to jump onto
the flight deck. Here you'll find a logo.
San Diego: There is a logo behind the baseball stadium. Follow the
highway to the back of the stadium. You will then see a small ramp.
Drive up to find the logo.
San Diego: There is a logo at the top deck of the hangar ship.
San Diego: Drive to the beach at the top left of the map. Follow the
beach until you see a small tunnel. There you'll find the logo.
San Diego: At the lower left of the map (near the hanger ship), follow
the coastline. There is no road close by. Follow the large building,
and you will find a small road that leads up to a roof. Turn left and
you will see the logo.
San Diego: Almost at the lower right corner at the map, there is a
large parking garage. When you are on the street, drive to the bottom
left corner of the building. Drive up the ramp, turn left, and drive
through the window to find another logo.
San Diego: To the far left of the map at the roller coaster, drive up
the ramp that is located to the north. Ride to find the logo.

all you viewers. You gave me so much *sniff* that I can't list it. If

9.60- Added a new section and started it off. File should be topping
100 kilobytes. O_O
0.90- Cleared up the section dividers and replaced them. This guide also now
talks about Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix, and I haven't gotten all the
cars yet. I did add the ones I know and I also added a new section comparing
the Remix to the original and added a music section.
3.00- Holy ****. This is THE biggest update ever. Changed title ASCII and some
other small additions, but I added a tuning section that tells you how to tune
every car except the specialties and the guide should be topping 300KB now. Hot
damn. Also, I swapped out the dividers again. I want to show off my 133 ub3r
h4xx0rz ASCII sk1llz.

WTF For some reason, everyone's game is just getting destroyed by their
game systems. The game apparently stops loading, starts skipping, etc.
If anyone could explain this, tell me! The thing I did was just clean
it using Disc Doctor. It's the one for games.

There is also another problem (thanks to rsb-csi for letting me know),
the codes posted on Gamefaqs (and other sites, not sure of this) don't
work.
