MADDEN NFL 2008 DRAFT FAQ

I.  Introoduction

This is an FAQ for the PS2 version of the draft in Madden 2008.  As many of
you have probably figured out the CPU drafts players in the same order for 
every fantasy draft.  Below is the order that the CPU drafts for the first 
20 rounds.  If you want to find a player's place in order I find it easiest
to do a ctrl+f to locate their name.  The reason I am posting this is 
because the only FAQ on file is for XBOX 360 and as I have learned from 
experience, the order is very different.  Follwing this section is a sample 
team that I have have analyzed and drafted using this list.  It is only a 
suggestion but fits my playing preferences.  Anyways, happy drafting.

II. Draft Order

Note: After about the seventh round, I got lazy with the inputing of the 
Overall numerical rating, so that is why there isn't an overall rating for 
the majority of the players on this list.  My apologies in advance.

III.  Sample Draft Team (First 25 Rounds)

This is a team that I drafted after analyzing the order and looking at 
player potential and all that good stuff.  The team below using my 
personal offseason tactics was raised to a straight 99 team in franchise
mode by the beginning of my fourth season.  This means that under the 
"My Week" menu selection and after pushing the "select" button to 
compare teams.  This Team received a 99 in Overall, a 99 in Offense, a 
99 in Defense, and a 99 in Special Teams.  The team is built to run a 
3-4 defense which I personally prefer over the 4-3 due to a more 
effective pass rush.  Basically the high points of this team fresh out 
of the fantasy draft are as follows...

1.  A young dynamic running back
2.  A shutdown corner
3.  A strong left side of the offensive line
4.  Two great go-to receivers (WR and TE)
5.  A fast young secondary
6.  A strong MLB to captain the defense
7.  An extremely fast LB corps
8.  Fast defensive line
9.  Many "steal" players whose awareness may not be high but are 
    extremely young gifted in position critical attribute areas.

NOTE: When I drafted this team, I got the 2nd pick for the odd 
      rounds and 31st pick for the even rounds.  I have not 
      tried to draft this team with any other starting round 
      so I don't know how it would turn out otherwise.
