NOTE: I've added a Search Engine into all my FAQs now. To use this, if
there's something you wish to find instantly in my FAQ, in the above
table, on the left is the name of a section or sub-section. To the right
is a weird code, like GOK5.1. Basically, if you wish to go to the section
where I tell you about Goku under The Playable Characters Of The Story, on
your Keyboard, hold Ctrl and then hit F and a window will open. Type in
GOK5.1 and hit Find Next. It'll bring you to that section instantly. The
code to reach the Table Of Contents is just that: Table Of Contents. I
hope this makes browsing my FAQs easier for you. Enjoy!

Hi there and welcome to another walkthrough by yours truly, Kain Stryder.
I'm back again and this time, I'm covering LifeLine, the first video game
to use voice recognition for the entire game. A game that's not only
ground breaking, but a blast to play, LifeLine mixes the typical Resident
Evil gameplay, but you use your voice to control the character. Anyway,
as always, I please ask that you not steal this walkthrough and claim it
as your own, sell it for profit or anything for whatever reason it may be
for. I worked hard on this and it's meant to stay free to help players if
they require help, so, please, just use this as your own personal
reference while playing. That's all that I ask and I hope you can respect
this. Also, this is to not be edited in any way, shape or form and is only
to be on IGN and no other site. Whew, ok, thanks for reading this, so,
without further delay, onto the walkthrough!

Update: This Walkthrough is now available at GameFAQs, Neoseeker and any
other sites I've allowed via E-Mail to host this file. If I did not give
you permission to host this FAQ on your site, then you're hosting it
illegally and if you're reading this on a site with any variatin of
"cheat" in its name, please notify me so I may take the necessary action.
Thanks.

5/14/07 - Just writing in to let any readers know if they E-Mail me any
questions or comments, that my address still works. My willpower to write
walkthroughs over the last few years died, mostly to college and real
life, but I may just start this up again. Feel free to write in, thanks.

3/19/04 - I've finished this walkthrough as much as possible, except for a
few of the Minigame answers here and there, though. (Which, if you know of
any that I don't have, feel free to let me know, as I'll greatly
appreciate your help.) Either way, though, everything else is completed
and I've labeled this as the final version of it, so, if I ever need to
update this walkthrough again with something, I will, but in the mean
time, there's not much else to add...well, I hope you enjoy my walkthrough
and I hope it helps you while playing! Until my next update, see ya.

3/18/04 - Alrighty, today I updated The Walkthrough up to the Waiting
Room, which is just past the duct part. I'll probably finish the rest
tommorow, so, until then, sit tight and wait and soon enough, you'll be
able to get help on any part of the game! Sorry if I haven't covered a
part that you, the reader, may be stuck at, but don't worry, tomorrow
everything will be done. Until then, enjoy what's here and I'll see you
tomorrow!

3/17/04 - Ok, I started The Walkthrough and I've updated it up to the Rest
Rooms. That's a rather good portion of the game and I'll cover even more
tomorrow. So, until then, enjoy what's here.

3/16/04 - Well, this entire walkthrough has been basically started and
almost all the appendencies are completed, except for the Item List and
Monster List and the entire Walkthrough. I'll have a good portion of that
done by tomorrow, so, sorry if nothing is there to help you yet. Well,
until tomorrow, enjoy!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- A. Controls And Menus . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ COAME4.1 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, let's start with the controls first, shall we?

D-Pad - Moves the Analysis Cursor. In Battle, it's not used, EXCEPT for
the final Battle.

Left Analog/Right Analog Stick - Does nothing.

Select - Does nothing.

Start - Pauses the game.

Square Button - Confirms an option. In Battle, it does nothing.

Triangle Button - Displays the Analysis Point. In Battle, it shows you
which parts of the Alien's Body you can hit.

X Button - Cancels an option. In Battle, it does nothing.

Circle Button - Microphone input. Press and hold it, speak your command,
then release the button.

R1 Button - Displays the Item List. In Battle, it switches the camera from
your view to a First Person view, via Rio.

R2 Button - Displays the Keyword List. In Battle, it does nothing.

L1 Button - Displays the Map of the area you're currently in. In Battle,
it does nothing.

L2 Button - Allows you to skip events. In Battle, it also allows you to
skip events.

Next up, after the controls, we have the various Menus in the game. First,
let's take a look at the Main Menu that pops up when you load the game:

First, just for your own personal knowledge, you'll need at least 156 KB
free on your Memory Card to Save one game.

New Game - Select this to start a new game.

Load Game - If you have a Saved Game, then go here to start back up from
where you left off. (Note: The features shown on your Saved Game, such as
how many commands you've given, how many that worked, etc, etc are there
just for fun. They have no impact on anything, so don't worry.)

Option - Allows you to edit the game's many Options. Here's a rundown on
each of them:

Key Configuration - Lets you change the controls around from Type A, B or
C, depending on what suits you best.

Sound Output - Lets you set the Sound Level to either Stereo or Mono.

Screen Position - Allows you to move the screen around and adjust it,
based on your TV.

Brightness Control - Using your TV's Controller, you have to adjust the
brightness to meet your desired amount. The game gives you a bar to follow
and instructions on how to get the upmost perfect brightness.

Default Setting - Restores all the settings back to how they are normally.

Exit - Exit back to the Main Menu.

Bonus - Once you have a Saved Game, you can view this Mode. In the Bonus
Mode, you're able to play the various Minigames that you acquire in the
Story Mode and even some new ones, if you manage to collect a certain
amount of Chips throughout the game. When you first start out, only
Tutorial is allowed to be played here, but check out Section X. Minigames
for a complete list on all the stuff you can do here.

Ok, that covers the Main Menu. Next up, we have the various Menus and
small things that appear on your screen throughout the game. First, let's
start with the Search System:

First, whenever you're searching an area, you'll see the following things:

Analysis Cursor 1 - (Light Blue Square.) The object has be been identified
and hovering over it will show you the exact name of it. Telling Rio about
the Object, will result in her either explaining what it is or examining
it for clues.

Analysis Cursor 2 - (Dark Blue Square.) The object can be further
identified by pressing the Square Button. This only appears when an Item
has more information to be seen. (For example, you can read a note on a
piece of paper or something.)If not, then you will only see the name and
Analysis Cursor 1 around it.

Control Cursor - (Dark Blue Square With Yellow Arrows.) Shows you objects
that you yourself, as the Operator, can use. Basically, these are
anything from door locks to button combinations and other small things.
When this cursor appears, hit the Square Button twice or thrice to get
some choices on what to do and choose whatever option you want to continue
on.

Obtainable Item - (White Flash.) Shows you that either an object is able
to be taken with you or there's something inside, under, etc, the object
and you need to direct Rio to it to obtain it.

Sonar Cursor - (Orange Circle.) Object has not been identified yet, thus
Rio will not be able to recognize it or look at it, as she "hasn't seen
it."

Alrighty, next up we have the main screen itself that you see whenever
Rio is moving around. Here's the various things on the screen:

Health Bar - Appears at the top left of the screen, this bar represents
Rio's Health. Dark green is full and dark red is near death. If at any
time Rio's Health completely goes down to 0, it's Game Over. Remedy this
by using Heal Capsules or playing "She Sells" once you get it.

Talk Box - Below the Health Bar is a box, which represents the volume of
your voice waves, though it only appears when you are pressing the Circle
Button and speaking. The other times, though, it'll either be a "Cannot
Talk" box, which means an event is happening and you can do anything but
watch or a "Talk Now" which means a instant reply is needed from you, as
it could mean life or death. Whenever the Talk Box is empty, that means
you can freely talk to Rio and give her orders.

Blue Bar - Directly next to the Talk Box is a Blue Bar that shows you how
well heard your last command was heard. If the Blue Bar fills up, that
means Rio heard you perfectly. Though, if the Blue Bar is anywhere below
half filled after you say something, try adjusting your microphone and
trying again, as she may slant her head and ask if you said something.

Next up we have the Pause Menu, which consists of just two commands:

Continue - Resume the game.

Go Back To Title - Go back to the Main Menu. This totally exits the game.

Heh, rather short I know, but next up we have the Map Menu which appears
whenever you hit the L1 Button, so, here's a rundown on each of the things
you'll see here, starting from the upper right of the screen and moving
clockwise:

Scene - Tells you the area you're currently in.

Map - Shows a readout of the entire area you're exploring, with names of
areas you can go to, which may or may not have things to examine and such.

JSL Map - Shows you a rough Map of the Space Station Hotel, with a list of
each section. The one that's orange is the area you're in now. Any area in
green on the Map means you've been to that place and cleared it out and
blue means you haven't been there yet or it's not possible to go there at
all. (Note: At the very bottom it'll show you the date in the game. This
never changes, so don't worry, as it's always Christmas Eve.)

Next, we have the Item List, which pops up when you hit the R1 Button.
Here's a rundown on the things you'll find here:

Normal Items - A collection of all the normal Items you collect throughout
the game that are usual in continuing the game.

Special Items - Not much in this area, but what's kept here are the total
amount of Heal Capsules, Launchers and Chips you currently have. Rio can
hold a total of 99 Heal Capsules and Launchers and there are 16 Chips in
the game for her to collect.

That covers that. Finally, we have the Keyword List, which appears
whenever you hit the R2 Button:

Normal Words - A list of words that are basic words you use in help
directing Rio around.

Scenario Words - There's a TON of these and they keep on being added after
most of the events in the game. Basically, they're questions you can ask
Rio, but they only work during "Consultation", so, make sure you say
"Consultation", then go here and ask her what it is you wish. Once you do,
though, the question will disappear.

Special Words - Words that you find that can be used in Battle as soon as
you have acquired them.

Battle Words - Basic words used to help you use Rio accurately in a fight.

Note: Each area and word has four small checklists of when they can be
used. This checklist appears in the southeast corner of the screen and if
the part is red, it can't be used, but if it's green, then yes, it can be
used in that situation.

Whew, well, that covers the controls and various Menus in the game.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- B. Voice Commands . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ VOCO4.2 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is what makes LifeLine unique, first of all. Second of all, you
should, if anything, study this section the most out of my entire
walkthrough for this game, along with the Battle System section below, as
these two areas are the KEY to mastering the game and beating it. First,
I assume you at least know that you must use your voice to play this game
and all. If you happen to be at a misfortune where you have a hearing
disability or you are a mute, (Sorry, I don't know the politically correct
name for this.) then you probably won't be able to play this game. Sorry.

Anyway, to give Rio a command, you press and hold the Circle Button, speak
your order, then release the Circle Button. She should understand you, if
the order is reasonable and not "Strip for me, baby" or something. I'll
give you various words and phrases to use in this section, to make the
game easier on you. I'll also give a play by play on each part of the
game, like examining objects, how to go to certain areas, etc.

First, let's start with actually moving Rio. Well, you don't use the
controller like you normally would. Again, the controller is only there
for you to bring up Maps and Menus and to talk to Rio. To get Rio to move,
you must tell her a destination to go to, via looking at the Map and
speaking to her the area you want her to move to. For example, let's say
you're in a room and you want her to go to the table. Tell her "Table" or
"Go over to the Table" and she should understand you and make her way
over there. To make her move faster, if you wish, tell her "Run" and she
will, but do this after you input your order on where to go. Telling her
to "Walk" makes her walk and telling her to "Stop" makes her stop moving
all together, incase you tell her to go somewhere you don't want her to
go to.

Ok, so, now you're at the table, right? Well, let's say you aren't in a
area to explore, but you're instead out in the hallway. Again, look at
your Map and tell her the name of a place to go to. For example, tell her
"Guest Room 1" and she'll make her way to Guest Room 1 and enter it. Your
Map will then change to the Map of Guest Room 1 and you can instruct her
on where to go within the room. To leave a room at any time, tell her
either "Hallway", which, I've found rarely works or "Leave" or "Exit the
room."

Getting back to the table, though. You're at the table now and notice some
blinking orange lights. Well, look at the table and what the orange lights
are circling around. Let's say one of the objcts is a notebook. Tell Rio
"Notebook" and she should look at it. If you got her attention towards
that object, the object will now be illuminated with a blue square. So,
say this was a Notebook and all. Well, next, tell Rio to "Read the
Notebook" or "Check the Notebook." She should understand this and she'll
explain to you what it is or read it and give you an idea. Though, let's
say the object you're trying to figure out isn't a Notebook, but a piece
of paper. If you tell Rio "Notebook" and get no response, that means
there's no object around that's a Notebook per say.

At this point, think up another name for a Notebook. Well, off the top of
my head, I can't think of any, but paper comes to mind, right? Tell Rio
"Paper" and she may understand and see the Paper you were talking about.
Thing is, what if you run out of ideas on what something could be? The
next step would be to describe the object to her. So, say you're looking
at a bottle of Wine. Tell her "Green bottle" and she should recognize it.
Basically, talk to her like you would a real person in describing
something. If something doesn't work, 9/10 rewording your sentence will
work.

Finally, let's say you have an object identified, but Rio tells you it's
nothing important. When she says this, believe her. It is something NOT
important. Though, sometimes objects that are not important hold hidden
things you can collect. For example, say you have a Paper, but it's
useless to you, but there's something on the back of the Paper, as you saw
it when she examined it, but it's not an important object. Tell Rio to
"Check behind the Paper" and she should understand and examine it, as she
finds what it is you were talking about. The Keywords to remember when
searching are any names you can think of for an object, it's shape and
color and its location, especially for objects on shelfs or behind or
under or above something.

"Check", "Examine", "Look" and "Read" are ALL important Keywords when
searching for things. By the way, at the start of the game, Rio tells you
how to use Consoltation, which lets you ask her questions on things via
hitting the R2 Button and going to Scenario Words. You have to tell her
"Consoltation" before you can ask her something though. This is another
way to find out things in the game and also get a hint on what to do if
you're stuck. Check back often, as there's ALWAYS new questions popping up
for you to ask. Another thing, though. When opening doors, lockers,
checking more than one Item that has the same name, such as four Vending
Machine Dispensers, give Rio directions on which to examine. Let's say you
had four Vending Machine Dispensers like so:

1 2 3 4
[] [] [] []

If you want her to check #3, tell her "Second Dispenser to the right" and
she'll understand you. For #4, tell her "Dispenser to the right" and
replace right with left for #1 and #2. As for the rest, though, check the
Keyword List on various other things you can have Rio do and once you go
through the Tutorial when you start the game, alot of things will become
very clear to you. Just a note, though. If you become fed up on a object
and it doesn't have anything glowing on it or it's like a food or
something and you can't get Rio to identify it, just ignore it and move
on. Missing objects and such in this game doesn't penalize you or reduce
anything and even if you get everything there is, you get no extra
reward, so, really, don't waste your time.

So, with that, that about covers the basics of using the Voice System and
how to analyze, move around, etc. For even more on this, check the
Tutorial at the start of the game for a visual walkthrough on all this.

On a final note, when talking into the headset, talk calm and clear and
nail each word perfectly to increase the chances of Rio understanding you.
Slurring, rushing and talking incoherently will result in a cocked head
from Rio more times than you'll want it. Remember to do this especially in
Battles.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- C. Battle System . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ BATSYS4.3 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ah, the Battle System. Another unique feature to LifeLine is how the
Battles take place. Kind of weird to fight using only your voice, isn't
it? Yet also cool, once you experience it. Ah, the power of
words...anyway, let's get started on the basics of fighting. First, let's
examine the Menu that pops up during a Battle, starting with the objects
in the top right corner and moving clockwise:

Items - Shows you how many Heal Capsules and Launchers you have in stock.
At first, only Heal Capsules will be shown, with a number and a + sign
near it, but later on, Launchers, once you get the Machine Gun will appear
next to it.

Bullet - Shows you how many Bullets are left in your Hand Gun/Machine Gun.
Don't worry, you have UNLIMITED Bullets in total, but once you use up a
clip, you have to Reload. Either tell Rio "Reload" or she'll do it
herself, but she'll take extra time to do so, so it's faster if you tell
her.

Enemy x/Target - Shows you a Menu of all the Targets you can hit of the
Enemy you're aiming at at the moment. To aim and shoot at a different
Target, tell Rio what you want her to hit. So, if you want her to hit the
Tail, tell her "Tail" and then "Shoot, shoot, shoot" or whatever else you
wish.

Enemy's Health Bar - Appears once you hit them. Like Rio's, yet smaller,
once the Monster's Health Bar is empty, it will die.

Ok, the rest of what's on the screen I already explained, such as the
Health Bar, Blue Bar and Talk Box. Now, next, comes the actual combat.
You're always at risk of entering a Battle and most of the time, Monsters
are NOT visible, as they'll appear out of nowhere. Though, thankfully,
they do NOT respawn, so once you take care of a threat in one area, they
are totally gone. (Though, this doesn't apply to the Observatory
Restaurant. See the Secrets Section for more on that.) So, let's actually
assume you enter a Battle.

First, Rio will stop doing what it is she's doing, as Monsters appear.
Once they do, start issuing orders on how to fight. Depending on how many
Monsters are around, there's a way to Target each one. For example, if
there's only 1 Monster around, you'll only Target that one, so don't worry
about it. Though, if there's 2 around, numbers will appear above the
Monsters. So if you want to Target a certain Monster, say "Number x" where
x is the number of the Monster you want to hit.

Now, thing is, sometimes when Monsters attack, they can do even more than
just cause damage. For example, Leeches will cling to you, as will Frogs.
To get them off, tell Rio "Throw it off" or "Shake it off" or something on
those lines. Otherwise it'll take her a while to do so by herself. What's
even worse is if Rio finds herself on the ground and with the wind knocked
out of her. If this happens, tell her to "Get up!" or "Come on!" so she
recovers faster.

Next up we have how to move Rio. In order to move her, you have to tell
her how to move. For example, telling her "Move Forward/Back/Left/Right"
will make her take a large step in the direction you tell her. Remember
that when you say "Move Left" she moves to Her left, not yours. The same
applies to the rest. If you need to give yourself some room, like alot of
room, tell her "Flee" or "Run" and if you want to have her move in, tell
her "Approach". To get her to turn 180 degrees, tell her "Turn around",
as well as "Turn Left/Right" to rotate her. Finally, to get her to dodge
attacks, tell her to "Dodge" and she'll side step quickly out of harms
way...hopefully.

After this we have the actions she can perform. To have her attack, tell
her to "Shoot". Though, thing is, you can have her do 3 actions at once,
sort of like a combo if you will. So, if you told her "Right Eye, Shoot,
Move Left", she'd do all of that. Combine 3 commands as much as you can,
as it saves time in just saying "Shoot!", "Run!", "Move Left!", etc, over
and over when you can say it in one go. Also, when hitting Targets, if at
anytime a Target gets a red X next to it, then that Target can no longer
take damage, so, hit something else instead, as hitting the one with a
red X next to it will get you nowhere.

Finally, again, to heal yourself during combat or non-combat, tell Rio
to "Use a Heal Capsule" or "Recover". The same goes for a Launcher. Tell
her "Launcher" and she'll use one. Also, there are ALOT more commands you
can tell Rio in Battle, but most of them have to be found first. They're
usually just words on paper that she finds. For example, when she finds
a piece of paper with the word "Jump" on it, you can now tell her in
Battles to "Jump" and she'll do that.

My final piece of advice to you during Battles is to take your time. I
can't stress this enough. Yes, here and there you'll want to go fast, but
go at it with a level head, think out what you want to do and you'll come
out on top easily. Otherwise, you'll be watching the number of your Heal
Capsules drop very, very fast. Try and get use to the Battles themselves,
as it's a bit tricky getting use to using your voice to fight and above
all else, ALWAYS aim for a Monster's Weakpoint once you find it, as once
you do, you'll quickly end the threat MUCH, MUCH faster.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- D. Tips & Tricks . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ TITR4.4 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

- For most of the game, try and conserve your Heal Capsules. Once you get
the "She Sells" Minigame unlocked, you can use that instead to heal Rio,
making it able to save Heal Capsules for Battles. Though, don't bother
near the end of the game saving them, such as for the final Boss, as you
will NOT be able to use them. You'll see why. Same goes with Launchers.
Use them when you need to. Don't stock pile them.

- If you get too frustrated on a object and it isn't something that looks
important or has a little flashing thing on it, ignore it. Most of the
time it's just useless things you really don't need to figure out, such
as a "Cardboard Box" or "Teacup". Honestly, don't waste 10 minutes trying
to guess the names of things. Or you could just read my walkthrough and
save yourself all the trouble throughout the game, ;).

- Try saying funny or immature things to Rio, perhaps even intelligent
questions and seeing what she replies with. No, I'm not going to list what
to say to her, as half the fun is seeing what you can say and seeing if
you get a reply.

- Check the Consoltation from time to time to see if you can ask Rio any
new questions or if you happen to get stuck and need to remember what
your current objective is.

- You can Pause the game during Battles, so if you need time to think, do
this.

- Take your time in Battles. Even though your first instinct is to move
fast and such, don't. Be calm, give clear orders and take your time and
you'll do MUCH better than "HOLY SHIT, RELOAD, RELOAD! DEAR GOD, RUN! RUN!
SHOOT! SHOOT! DAMNIT, BITCH, SHOOT! COME ON, GET UP!" and whatnot.
Monsters in LifeLine react and move rather slow, so you have a good enough
period of time to do whatever you need to mainly do.

- If Rio doesn't understand you correctly when you're trying to tell her
to search something, try using a different combination or rewording of
words. For example, if you say "Look under the bench" and it doesn't work,
try "Check under the bench" or "There's something under the bench" and so
on. Apparently, "Check, Examine, Read and Look" are the main key words
you'll want to use in the game for getting Rio to do something with an
object. Think the old King's Quest games or similar things like that, if
you've played them.

- Take advantage of using your voice and timing actions accurately. For
example, if you are waiting for a Monster to do something so you can
Target it specifically, input the command, but don't release the Circle
Button. When the Monster does whatever it is you want it to do, release
the Circle Button and Rio will instantly do what you said before. This is
a VERY useful technique, so try using it.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Note: There are a few more characters in the game, but if I listed them,
it'd greatly ruin the game for you or make you wonder about some things,
so, you'll see for yourself once you play.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- A. Rio . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ RI5.1 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Waitress who works at the Space Station Hotel. During the attack, she
was placed in a Holding Cell, but once you release her, she seems to be
looking for someone or something...her motives are unclear, but she is
your only hope in getting out of here and finding your girlfriend, Naomi.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- B. You . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ YO5.2 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

You and your girlfriend, Naomi, (Sorry girls, this will get weird for you,
but should make things funny throughout the game. Heh heh.) were invited
to the opening ceremony of the Space Station Hotel. During the Alien
attack, you were both seperated and you've been locked in the Monitor
Room. With no way out and a wound on your right arm, you look to the
computer near you and try to find any survivors, maybe help them out. In
looking, you find Rio and with her help, you may find Naomi and actually
get out of this place alive...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- C. Naomi . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ NAOM5.3 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your girlfriend, who attented the opening ceremony with you. She's gone
missing after the Alien attack and her whereabouts are unknown. Rio is
helping you find her, but is she still alive...?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- D. Gino . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ GIN5.4 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Security Guard at the Space Station Hotel. He has a crush on Rio and is
the one who put her in the Holding Cell for safety. His whereabouts are
unknown, but it's safe to know he's looking for survivors and hopefully,
he's not dead.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- E. Tanaka . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ TANAK5.5 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Manager of the Space Station Hotel. An uptight, arrogant and rude man,
he has no respect for anyone but himself. It's unknown if he's alive, but
his chances are good at best.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- F. Allen Honda . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ ALHO5.6 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

A young Researcher who works at the Space Station Laboratory. He's rather
odd, though and he's also missing.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- G. Joe Powers . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ JOPO5.7 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The person in charge of the Space Station Laboratory. Another missing
person, his whereabouts are also unknown.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- H. Helen Johnson . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ HEJO5.8 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Reporter who is covering the opening ceremony. Apparently Rio wants to
find her, as she knows something, but it's unknown where she is.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- I. Takayama . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ TAKA5.9 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Japan's Prime Minister, he is a guest at the Space Station Hotel with his
wife and a few of his aides. Today, Christmas Eve, is his 60th Birthday,
so today is especially special for him. He was giving his speech during
the opening ceremony, when the Aliens started to attack. It's not known
where he is, but it's assumed he's safe, as he has personal that makes
sure of that. His whereabouts are unknown, though.

= [ VI. The Walkthrough ] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ THEWA6 ]=
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Note: Before you turn your PlayStation 2 on, connect your USB Headset into
your PlayStation 2. The connection plug is located below the Controller
Port. You can't miss it. Also, obviously, you WILL need a USB Headset to
play this game, so, if you don't have one, you'll have to buy one or
borrow one from a friend or something. Either way, without it, you can NOT
play this game AT ALL.

Also, when you start the game, you are given a Tutorial on how the game
works. I won't bother including it, as it describes ALL you'll need to
know for the basics of the game. I will start The Walkthrough directly
after the Tutorial, so, The Walkthrough, A. Beginning documents the
opening story. So, follow what the Tutorial teaches you, grasp the basics
and then continue on and get ready.

Finally, take your time in Battles, search everywhere, ESPECIALLY anything
that's shiny/glowing and always check the Scenario Words in Consoltation
from time to time to ask Rio questions. Also, to make things easier on
you, when you see something in quotation marks, usually I'm telling you
what to say to get Rio to understand something, as this'll make it easier
on you and save from getting you frustrated. If you wish to get a
challenge out of this game, though, feel free to ignore what I have you
say and instead use my walkthrough as a source on what to do, either for
strategies in fighting, where to go, etc. Again, this is here to help you
in the game, so use it for whatever you need help with.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- A. Beginning . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ BEGI6.1 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the Tutorial, you'll see the opening story, of the game introducing
you to a 16th century doctor/physician, named Paracelsus and how he became
a miracle healer. What's this have to do with anything, you ask? Well,
wait and see. Afterwards, you see a Space Station and the date and time it
is currently. Soon after, you see part of the Space Station is destroyed,
as you wake up and appear to be in the Monitor Room. Asking yourself if
this is the Monitor Room and seeing you have a wound, a message on the
computer tells you how the room has been locked and to await rescue.

You then load a scene up of the party earlier and see the Prime Minister
Of Japan giving a speech, as you and your girlfriend, Naomi, talk. You
remember what this scene is and after normal events take place, out of
nowhere, weird Aliens appear from nowhere and start attacking everyone.
After the terrible attack, you have memories of how you passed out and
Naomi, as you're reawakened to a distress call from the Security Room.
This the start of your nightmare...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- B. Security Room . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ SECRO6.2 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items In The Area: Chip x1, Hand Gun x1, Heal Capsule x3, Microphone Check
x1 and Video Recording Disc x1.
Enemies In The Area: Caterpillar Type 1 x1 and Leech Type 1 x6.

As the game starts, hit the Start Button and after Rio asks you to say
something, just speak anything into the microphone. When asked, open the
"Door Panel" by hitting the Square Button 3 times. After Rio talks to you
and searches some lockers for something, she asks you to open a locker for
her. So, open the "Locker" that she asks by hitting the Square Button 3
times. She finds a Hand Gun and some ammo, thanks you and begins to leave,
but a Caterpillar Type 1 appears. When you see Talk Now, tell Rio to "Get
up!", then you'll enter your first Battle. This is rather easy, actually.
Just shoot the Left, Middle and Right Eyes, then hit the Red Eye once the
first 3 become X'd out and you'll win. (Note: Be SURE you understand the
Battle System of this game. If not, you'd better head up a few sections
and read my information on it.)

After the Battle, she thanks you again and remembers you from the party.
When asked what your girlfriend's name was, for laughs, tell her "Rio" or
"Kristen", since Kristen is the Voice Actor for Rio. Anyway, the correct
response is "Naomi" said "Nay-oh-me". She remembers, then asks for your
assistance, since she has to get out of here, as well as find something
and in return she'll find Naomi for you. So, tell her "Yes" when asked,
otherwise, tell her "No" over and over to get a funny Game Over. When
asked if she can count on you, again tell her "Yes." After this, she
decides a password for you both and choose consoltation, as when you want
to ask her something, just say that. She asks you to say it, so, say
"Consoltation."

She'll then give a quick explanation on how to guide her around and
afterwards, tell her "Yes" when she asks if you understand. Finally,
you'll be able to guide Rio around the room, as this officially starts the
game. First, let's explore this room, so, tell her to go to "Holding Cell
1" to find a Heal Capsule. Then, tell her to go over to the "Desks" and
tell her "PC" to identify the 3 PCs here. Nothing special on any of them,
except some data on the middle one you can read. Next, tell Rio "Notebook"
to identify the notebook and if you wish, tell her to "Read Notebook" to
learn someone has a crush on Rio. Heh.

Afterwards, go over to the "Lockers" and tell Rio "Locker" to identify
each locker, then unlock the locker farthest to the left, as Rio finds
your first Chip. Next, tell Rio "Guard's Note", then analyze it yourself
for some unhelpful advice, as Rio can't read the writing. After this, tell
Rio to go to the "Table" and tell Rio "Cup" to identify the cup,
"Magazine" to identify the magazine and learn about the Chips, "Report" to
identify the white paper and learn about schedules and things for the
Guards, which is useless and finally tell her "Newspaper" to see some
useless headlines and all.

Next, head over to the "Vending Machines" and tell Rio "Dispener" to
identify the 4 dispeners here, then tell her "Check the second Dispener to
the right" to find a piece of paper that says "Microphone Check" on it.
Say this to Rio to see how well she can currently hear you. After this,
tell her to go to the "Save Point" and Save your game and then when you're
ready, tell her to "Leave the room." (Note: There's nothing in Holding
Cell 2 or 3, so don't bothering checking.) Out in the Hall now, after a
small scene, Rio asks you to analyze the Video Disc she holds. Do so and
Rio tells you she needs to find Helen Johnson, as she can help her. So,
you're pitted on searching the rooms for clues for her and Naomi and she
asks where to go look.

First, tell her to go to "Shutter 9", as you'll enter a Battle nearby with
3 Leeche Type 1s, so, be careful. Afterwards, continue to Shutter 9 to
find out its broken, but also a Heal Capsule. Next, tell her to go to
"Guest Room 1" and as you do, you'll fight 3 more Leech Type 1s, so, be
aware. Once you make it to Guest Room 1, you learn you have to unlock the
doors, so, open the "Door Panel" and you'll then enter Guest Room 1.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- C. Guest Room 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ GUERO16.3 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items In The Area: Audio Password 1/2 x1, Chip x1, Heal Capsule x1,
Shutter Key x1 and Zoom In x1.
Enemies In The Area: Caterpillar Type 1 x1, Leech Type 1 x2 and Leech Type
2 x1.

Once you're in this room and can direct Rio, tell her to go to the
"Emergency Panel" and you'll learn someone took the Shutter Key you need.
Next, tell her to go to the "Table" and once here, tell her "Coffee Cup"
to identify the coffee cup, "Camera" to identify the camera and see it's
a VERY old camera and finally, "Pamphlet" to see a pamphlet about the
Space Station Hotel. After this, tell her to go to the "Living Area" and
once here, tell her "Briefcase" to identify the briefcase, then tell her
to "Open the Briefcase" to find a piece of paper that says "Zoom In",
which allows you to have the camera zoom in when you say it. The document
in the briefcase is useless, so, ignore it and tell Rio "Telephone" to
identify the telephone on the desk and finally, tell her "Wine" to
identify the wine also on the desk.

After this, tell her to go to the "Bedroom", as you'll fight a Leech Type
2 here. If you're quick, you can kill it, but if not, it'll split into 2
Leech Type 1s, so be careful. After the Battle, you'll meet Manager Tanaka
and see how rude he is. Once you can direct Rio again, tell her to go to
the "Bed", as she'll find a Heal Capsule, then tell her to go to the
"Dresser". Once here, tell her "Mirror" to identify the mirror, then tell
her "Trunk", as she'll find a Chip in it. Next, tell her to go to the
"Bathroom" and in the bathroom, tell her "Shower" to identify the shower,
"Mirror" to identify the mirror and "Sink" to identify the sink. Though,
once you identify the sink, tell Rio to "Check under the Sink", as she'll
find the Shutter Key you need.

Once you get this, tell Rio to go to the "Save Point" and Save your game,
then when you're ready, leave the room. Once you're in the Hall again, Rio
gets a distress call from someone, but it quickly ends. After this, since
Shutter 9 and 10 are broken, tell Rio to go to "Shutter 7" and once there,
Rio will put the Shutter Key in and you'll have to open the Shutter, so,
do so. As you do, though, a Caterpillar Type 1 appears, as you enter a
Battle. Take it out, then tell Rio to go to "Shutter 4", as a scene takes
place. Rio will find a dead woman, as a giant Spider appears. She'll shoot
at it and run, but you can't beat this thing, so don't let Rio do so. When
she asks for your help, QUICKLY close the Shutter by hitting the Square
Button once it pops up.

As you do, Rio will just barely make it to safety, as the Spider is
trapped on the otherside. If you fail, well, let's just say the Spider
gets a decent lunch. After this, Rio will meet Gino, the Security Guard
who locked her in the Holding Cell and has a crush on her. After another
scene, you learn a rescue team is on the way to help everyone and gives
you a card that allows access to the Sun Suite, called the Audio Password
1/2 and that plae is where the Researcher that he met is hiding. He has to
find the others and tell him about the rescue team and tells Rio to make
her way to the Receiving Port. Once this is over, tell Rio to go to "Guest
Room 2" and you'll continue on from there.

Items In The Area: Code Note x1, Heal Capsule x1, Low Kick x1 and Shutter
Key x1.
Enemies In The Area: Leech Type 1 x4 and Leech Type 2 x1.

As you enter this room, tell Rio to go to the "Emergency Panel", as it
seems the Shutter Key is missing again. Damn...well, guess we have to find
it, huh? Well, for now, tell Rio to go to the "Living Area" and once here,
tell Rio "Dress" to identify the dress (Also, make a note of the Roman
Numerals on the dress and other accessories you find.) and "Gloves" to
identify the gloves here. When she sees the gloves, a piece of paper falls
out, which has "Low Kick" written on it. Once you have this, you can tell
Rio "Low Kick" in Battle to have her do a low kick.

Next, tell Rio to go to the "Bedroom" and as you do, you find a dead
woman, as 2 Leech Type 1s and 1 Leech Type 2 appear. Take them all out,
then after Rio checks the dead woman, tell her to go to the "Table" and
tell her "Catalogue" to identify the cataglogue, then tell her to "Read
the Catalogue". Once you do, tell Rio to "Take the Code Note", as it's
useful in a minute. After this, tell Rio to go to the "Dresser" and when
she does, she'll find a Heal Capsule. Then, tell her "Mirror" to identify
the mirror and then tell her "Bag" to identify the bag here and next, tell
her to head to the "Bathroom". Once here, tell her "Shower" to identify
the shower, "Mirror" to identify the mirror and finally, "Makeup" to
identify the makeup.

Finally, tell Rio to go to the "Bed" and once here, tell her "Dress" to
identify the dress, "Night Stand" to identify the night stand, as well as
find a Chip here and finally, tell her "Safe" to identify the safe here,
which is a special lock box the hotel gives the guests upon request.
Attempt to open it on your end, but it needs a password...hmm...why not
try 2021, since that's been on almost everything here and the Code Note
was a big hint...ah well. Inside is the Shutter Key and once you get this,
tell Rio to go to the "Save Point" and Save your game, then when you're
ready, leave the room.

Out in the Hall again, Rio will get another distress call from the same
person again, as Rio thinks it's Naomi. (Ok, just a slight note here on
my behalf. What are the chances of this being Naomi? Out of ALL the
people on board, it just happens to be her? Yeah, real believable,
Konami...) Afterwards, tell Rio to head to "Guest Room 3" and once there,
enter it.

Items In The Area: Camera Check x1, Chip x1 and Heal Capsule x2.
Enemies In The Area: Caterpillar Type 1 x1, Leech Type 1 x6 and Leech Type
2 x1.

As you enter this room, Rio cautiously moves about, as 3 Leech Type 1s
appear behind her. Tell her "Turn around!" to warn her, otherwise she'll
be ambushed and hurt, as she yells at you. You'll enter a Battle, so, take
these things out as fast as possible. Afterwards, tell Rio to head to the
"Emergency Panel" and it seems the Shutter Key's broken. Tell Rio "Oxygen
Mask" to identify the oxygen mask, then tell her to "Check under the
Shutter Key" to find a piece of paper that says "Camera Check". Again,
this allows you to find Rio if you for some reason can't. Just say "Camera
Check" and you'll find her.

After this, tell her to go to the "Table" and once here, tell her
"Champagne" to identify the champagne, "Wine" to identify the wine and
finally, "Meal" to identify the food here. Tell Rio to "Check the Meal"
and she does, as a Leech Type 1 appears, so, just easily take this out
and then tell Rio to "Check the Meal" again to find a Heal Capsule now.
Next, tell her to go to the "Bedroom", as there's nothing at the Living
Area and as you enter, you'll fight 1 Leech Type 1 and 1 Leech Type 2,
though the Leech Type 2 will split into 2 Leech Type 1s, so watch out.

After the Battle, don't bother with the Bed, as there's nothing there, so
instead tell Rio to go to the "Dresser" and once here, tell her "Mirror"
to identify the mirror, "Cigar Case" to identify the cigar case and then
tell Rio to "Open the Cigar Case" to find a Chip inside. Finally, tell
her to "Check under the Dresser" to find a Heal Capsule. After this, just
leave the room, as there's nothing in the Bathroom. Once you're back in
the Hall, tell Rio to go to "Shutter 3" and once there, open the Shutter
for her, as a Caterpillar Type 1 appears. Quickly dispatch of it and
afterwards, Rio sees the Sun Suite and attempts to enter and it seems you
both need to read a voice password to enter, but you only have 1 of the
keys. When you're prompted to speak, do nothing, as you don't know what to
say yet.

Afterwards, you'll have to find the other Audio Password, so, the only
other place you can go to is Guest Room 4, so tell Rio to go to "Guest
Room 4" and once there, open the door for her, then enter the room and
continue on.

Items In The Area: Audio Password 2/2 x1, Chip x1 and Heal Capsule x1.
Enemies In The Area: Leech Type 2 x1 and Tentacle x2.

As you enter this room, get ready for one HELL of a fight. You'll end up
in a Battle against a Leech Type 2 and 2 Tentacles. I suggest destroy the
Leech first, then go after the Tentacles. Though, stay as FAR back as
possible when fighting them and aim for their Tongues when they throw them
out at you. Otherwise, aim for the Front Leg, Inner Mouth and Body when
you can. Don't be afraid to use a Heal Capsule if you need to here, as
there are PLENTY more down the road. After the Battle, tell Rio to head to
the "Emergency Panel" and yet again, the Shutter Key's broken here. Next,
have her go to the "Living Are" and once here, tell her "Steel Pipe" to
identify the steel pipe, "Helmet" to identify the helmet, "Rations" to
idenfity the rations and to get a Heal Capsule and then finally, tell Rio
to "Check behind the Chair", as she finds the Audio Password 2/2.

After this, tell Rio to go to the "Bedroom" and once here, tell her to go
to the "Bed", as she finds a Chip here, then tell her to go to the
"Dresser" and once there, tell her "Mirror" to identify the mirror and
then tell her "Invitation" to identify the invitation. Tell her to "Read
the Invitation" to see a piece of paper on the back of the invitation,
then tell Rio to "Check the back of the Invitation", as Rio finds the
piece of paper, which says "Catigory Games" on it. If you say this to Rio,
you can play a Minigame with her, but it's only for fun and there's no
reward from it, so, yeah, don't bother unless you're bored.

Next, tell her to to go the "Table" and once here, tell her "Screen" to
identify the screen, "Blueprint" to identify the blueprint,
"Questionnaire" to identify the questionnaire, then have her "Read the
Questionnaire" to have her read it in a mockingly way of Manager Tanaka.
Finally, tell her "Protector", then turn the power of it on yourself.
After a explanation on where she is, you are and where the Receiving Port
is, tell Rio to go the "Save Point" and Save your game, then, when you're
ready, leave the room, as there's nothing in the Bathroom at all. Back in
the Hall, tell Rio to head to the "Sun Suite" and once here, Rio will
repeat the password again, then it's your turn.

Say "I want to monopolize", but afterwards, you're not done, as you both
must now say the entire password, which is "Even the very shadow you cast
in sunlight...I want to monopolize" at the same time as Rio. Start saying
it about 1 second after she says "Ready?", but don't worry if you don't
keep up with her. As long as you're close, you'll be fine. If not, just
try again. Once you pass this, you'll enter the Sun Suite.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items In The Area: Allen's Reference Kit x1, Chip x1, Heal Capsule x1,
Shutter Key x1 and Spin The Gun x1.
Enemies In The Area: Caterpillar Type 2 x1.

As you enter the Sun Suite, Rio comments about the room and about finding
the Researcher, so, you'll have to check around. Though, as she walks
around, a Caterpillar Type 2 appears and you'll fight it. Take out it's
Left, Middle and Right Eyes, then it's Red Eye, then its Mouth and finally
it's Tail, as this is one STRONG sucker. After this, tell Rio to go to the
"Bathroom", as she'll find the two honeymooners dead and she wants to
leave. Heh, I don't blame her. Next, tell her to go to the "Coffee Table"
and once there, tell her "Coffee Cup" to identify the coffe cup and then
tell her "Message Card" to identify the message card and have Rio read it.

After this, have her go to the "Lounge" and once there, tell her
"Champagne" to identify the champagne, "Fruits" to identify the fruits and
to find a Chip, then tell her "Photograph" to identify the photograph and
finally, "Bouquet" to idenfity the bouquet. Afterwards, tell Rio to go to
the "Second Floor", as she enters the Bedroom and finds the Researcher,
but he's dead. Though, he suddenly gets up, explaining he was just playing
dead to avoid the Aliens, since he can't fight. Rio asks about the Aliens
and he explains they had nothing to do with them and after some more
dialogue and you getting Allen's Reference Kit and learning some valuable
information about how to beat that Spider, as it's weak to fire, Allen
gives Rio the Shutter Key and then goes back to playing dead.

Rio then leaves, commenting on how Powers contacted the rescue team, how
Gino is finding survivors and getting them to the Receiving Port and how
the Spider can only be defeated with fire, but you don't have fire and
Allen's Flamethrower was out of fuel. So, you'll have to go to the
Equipment Room to get a Flamethrower, if you ever want to get to the
Receiving Port. Though, after this, tell Rio to go back up to the "Second
Floor" and once there, go to the "Bed" and tell Rio "Laptop" to identify
the laptop, though Allen covers it, "Lab Coat" to identify the lab coat
and "Flamethrower" to identify the Flamethrower.

Next, tell her to go to the "Wash Room" and once here, tell her "Mirror"
to identify the mirror, "Toilet Paper" to identify the toilet paper,
"Toilet" to identify the toilet, then tell Rio to "Check beside the
Toilet" to get a Heal Capsule and finally tell her to "Close the Toilet
Lid" and she'll find a piece of paper, that says "Spin The Gun" on it. In
Battle, when you say this, she spins her Hand Gun and apparently, her next
shot after doing this does more damage. After this, tell her to go to the
"Save Point" and Save your game and when you're ready, leave the room.
Back in the Hall again, tell Rio to go to "Shutter 2" and once there, open
it for her and she'll then go to the Equipment Room.

Items In The Area: Chip x1, Magnesium Chip x1 and Taunt x1.
Enemies In The Area: None.

As you enter the room, Rio looks for a Flamethrower and finds one, but
it's also empty. She gets bummed because there's no fuel in it and tells
you they need a weapon that uses fire and to look around for one. Once
you're able to direct Rio again, tell her to go to the "Data Unit" and
once there, tell her "Cart" to identify the cart, "Search Device" to
identify the search device and then "Notice" to identify the notice. After
this, tell Rio to go to the "Utility Unit" and once there, tell her
"Shelf" to identify the 3 Shelfs here, then "Power Panel" to identify the
lift here. Tell Rio to "Get on the Lift" and then turn the power on the
Power Panel on, then go to the Lift Panel and hit the Square Button and
hit the On Button and then go up once space and tell Rio to "Check the
Shelf", as she finds a Chip.

Next, go up and then right and tell her to "Check the Shelf" here to find
a piece of paper that says "Taunt" on it. In Battle, saying this lets Rio
Taunt the Aliens now. Useless, really, but, eh, whatever. After this, move
the lift to the bottom and tell Rio to "Get off the Lift" and then make
sure you turn the power on the Power Panel off. Then, ignore the
Mechanical and Food Units, as there's nothing there and instead tell Rio
to go to the "Supply Unit. Once there, turn the Power Panel on and then
tell Rio to "Get on the Lift" and then turn the Lift Panel on and now it
gets a little tricky, since this lift isn't 100% operational. Move it left
once, then up twice, right twice, diagonal down-left and then right and
tell Rio to "Check the Shelf", as she finds a Magnesium Chip.

It's going to be used as a lighter, so, Rio takes it. After this, move
the lift down and then tell Rio to "Get off the Lift" and then tell her
to go to the "Save Point" and Save your game. Then, when you're ready,
leave the room and back in the Hall, tell Rio to go to the Infirmary and
then continue on.

Items In The Area: Chip x1, Heal Capsule x1, ID Card x1, Molotov Cocktail
x1 and Sexy Pose x1.
Enemies In The Area: Leech Type 1 x5, Spider x1 and Tentacle x1.

As you enter the Infirmary, Rio looks around and then asks you what you
usually associate an Infirmary with. I believe you need to name 6 things,
though I'm not sure what the official list is. I personally said
"Medicine", "Bandages", "Operating Table", "Alchohal", "Doctor" and
"Syringe" and they all worked. After this, Rio walks around, trying to
think of something that can be made of fire. Though, she can't think of
weapons that use fire and asks you for help. I said "Grenade" as my first
guess, but that wasn't it. Then I tried "Molotov Cocktail" and bingo,
that's it, since all you need is Alchohal, a rag and fire to make one.

She becomes excited that that's it and asks where to start looking for
some Alchohal. First, tell her to go to the "Operating Table" to see a
small event, as Rio talks about a past memory involving a Operating Table.
When asked, tell her "Yes" and then if you've ever been involved in an
operation, tell her either "A good memory" or "A bad memory" to get a
different response. Either way, say one of them if you never have been
and afterwards, tell her to go to the "Desk" and then tell her "Drawer" to
identify the drawer and to also open it to get a ID Card.

Next, tell her "PC" to identify the PC and then turn it on yourself, as
Rio sees a word on the screen that says "Sexy Pose", as you get this. In
Battle, it makes Rio do a sexy pose for your amusement. Typical. Anyway,
next, tell her "X-Ray Photo" to identify the X-Ray photo, then tell her
"Medical Book" to identify the medical book, then tell Rio to "Read the
Medical Book" to laugh at her terrible reading skills. Hooked on Phonics
worked for me! Anyway, nothing special there, so, finally, tell her
"Cabinet" to identify the cabinet. After this, tell Rio to go to "Case 1"
and once there, tell her "Card Reader" to identify the card reader and
then tell her "Use the ID Card", then after she does, open it yourself by
highlight "Switch" and hitting the Square Button 3 times, as Rio walks
around and finds a Heal Capsule.

After this, unless you want to fight Monsters, don't open Case 2 and 4, as
Case 2 holds 3 Leech Type 1s and Case 4 holds 2 Leech Type 1s and a
Tentacle. I REALLY don't suggest you fight them, but it's your call.
Anyway, tell Rio to go to "Case 5" and open this case here, as Rio finds
a Chip. Finally, tell Rio to head to "Case 3" and again open it for her,
as she finds Alchohal and rushes back to the desk to prepare it. As she
does, she talks to you, so, listen and then she finishes making the
Molotov Cocktail. After she tells you you're ready to fight that Spider,
tell her to go to the "Save Point" and then Save your game. Also, don't
worry about going to the Bed, as there's nothing there at all, so,
ignore it. After you Save, leave the room and make SURE you Save, though,
as you could easily screw up the next part.

Once you're back in the Hall, tell Rio to head to "Shutter 4", after she
tells you where the Spider is. Once there, a scene will take place. She
talks and when asked, tell her "Yes", as she prepares the Molotov Cocktail
and then tells you what she's going to do. You have to tell her when to
throw it, as she wants to throw it in his mouth and you have to tell her
exactly when and if she fails, she's dead. Open the Shutter when asked
and get ready. Rio will shoot the Spider and the BEST time to throw it is
just as the Spider go across the floor and up the wall to the right, then
back down as Rio hits it and draws blood. It'll open it's mouth and at
that time, tell Rio to "Throw it!" and if you see it go into it's mouth,
as Rio shoots it, you've done it. Otherwise, well, watch the unhappy
ending.

After the Spider dies, a man appears and talks to Rio. He thanks him, but
she doesn't like his attitude, as the two talk and you learn the Aliens
came from a UFO that Allen discovered. Ok...well, anyway, he tells you to
make your way to the Receiving Port, as he has to find Allen. Rio lies
about him being in danger at the Sun Suite, as Joe runs off, as a large
shake is detected and the Shutter is about to close. Rio dives to the
other side just in time, as a message is told about the disturbance and
how the area was locked down for safety, though the Space Station Hotel is
fine. Thankful she made it, she can't go back now without a Shutter Key,
so, for now, the only place you can go is to the Rest Rooms, so, tell Rio
to head to the "Rest Rooms" and you'll continue from there.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items In The Area: Chip x1, Heal Capsule x2 and Shutter Key x1.
Enemies In The Area: Leech Type 1 x11, Leech Type 2 x2 and Tentacle x2.

As you enter the Rest Rooms, Rio tells you about a story that involves
this place. When she asks you how good you are with stories, just tell
her whatever you want and afterwords, she goes to the Ladies' Area, as she
hears some music and gets scared, not wanting to go on, thinking the
rumors were true. She asks you if she can go back, but tell her "No", then
"Don't worry, I'm here for you". She tells you that's easy for you to say
and asks if it'll really be ok to go in. Tell her "Yes" and after she
enters, tell her to go to the "Ladies' Stalls" (Also, she won't run if you
tell her to, as she's too scared.) and once here, tell her "Stall" to
identify the 4 stalls. First, don't bother opening the 2 stalls to the
right, as the farthest to the right holds nothing and the one second to
the right holds 1 Leech Type 1 and 2 Leech Type 2s.

So, just tell Rio to "Open the Stall second to the left" to find a Heal
Capsule and then for a scare, tell her "Open the Stall to the left" to
find a dead woman. Finally, tell Rio "Closet" to identify the closet to
find it has a lock on it, but you don't have the code yet, so, just enter
something random and hit enter to exit this. Next, tell Rio to go to the
"Ladies' Washstands" and once here, tell Rio "Mirror" to identify the 3
mirrors here, then tell her "Trash Can" to identify the trash can and tell
her to "Check inside the Trash Can" to find a piece of paper that says
"Auto Fire" on it. This is REALLY useful in Battle, as if you say this to
Rio, she'll attack until she's out of ammo on her own, allowing you to
plan attacks.

After this, tell Rio to go to the "Men's Stalls" and once here, tell Rio
to "Open the Stall second to the left" to find a Chip and ignore the stall
to the far left and the second stall to right, as well as the stall to the
far right, as it holds a Battle with 3 Leech Type 1s. Also, don't open the
closet here, as it also holds a Battle with 3 Leech Type 1s. So, next,
tell Rio to go to the "Men's Washstands", as you'll see something shinning
on the mirror here. Tell Rio to "Shoot the middle Mirror", as a number is
written behind it, which is "029". After this, tell Rio to go back to the
"Ladies' Stalls" and to go to the "Closet" and input the number code as
029.

As the door unlocks, that music plays again and Rio gets spooked. After
some talking, she slowly opens it and she asks what to do now. Tell her
"Note" to identify the note and "Pendant" to identify the pendant and tell
her to "Read the Note". Apparantly, this was all a prank from Meg, she
made up the story and told Rio, but Meg's dead, so, she can't get her
pendant back. Though, Rio finds the Shutter Key and leaves the Rest Rooms.
Once you're in the Hall, tell Rio to go to "Shutter 5" and then open the
Shutter for her. After this, if you feel it's worth it, tell Rio to go to
"Shutter 8" to fight 2 Tentacles and afterwards, continue on to Shutter 8
to find a Heal Capsule. Up to you, but if you don't want to risk fighting
those things, don't bother and tell her to go to "Guest Room 5". Open the
door and you'll enter it and continue on.

Items In The Area: Chip x1, She Sells x1 and Shutter Key x1.
Enemies In The Area: Caterpillar Type 1 x1, Caterpillar Type 2 x1, Leech

As soon as you enter the room, you'll enter a Battle against a Caterpillar
Type 1 and a Leech Type 2. After this, tell Rio to go to the "Emergency
Panel" to find the Shutter Key missing. Next, tell her to go to the
"Living Area" and once here, tell her "Wig" to identify the wig,
"Sunglasses" to identify the sunglasses and "News Board" to identify the
news board and if you wish, tell her to "Read the News Board" to see that
apparently the ceremony went well...uh, not really. Odd, huh? Well, after
this, tell Rio to go to the "Bedroom", as there's a fire here. Rio asks
what to do, so, first, tell her "Chair" to identify the chair, "Rope" to
identify the rope, "Bucket" to identify the bucket and then tell her to
"Shoot the Bucket", as she sees a extinguisher.

Tell her to "Shoot the Extinguisher", as the fire goes out and Rio grabs
the Shutter Key. Next, tell her to go to the "Bed", as Rio finds a dead
woman. Next, tell her "Bathrobe" to identify the bathrobe, then tell her
to "Check the pocket on the Bathrobe" to find a Chip. After this, tell Rio
to go to the "Bathroom" and once here, tell her "Mobile Phone" to identify
the mobile phone, then tell her to "Check the Wig", as she finds a piece
of paper that says "She Sells" on it. This is VERY, VERY useful, as if you
tell Rio this, you'll play a Minigame of Tongue Twister. If you can
correctly say all 3 of the Tongue Twisters she gives you, about 1/4 of her
Health will be restored. This is a GREAT way to save Heal Capsules.
Anyway, when asked, tell Rio "She Sells" to get her to remember the game,
as you play it.

Play it if you wish, by telling her "Yes" or "No", but either way, when
you're ready, tell her to go to the "Save Point" and Save your game and
then after this, leave the room. Once outside, Rio gets another message
from Naomi, as it appears it is Naomi after all. (What are the odds,
really?) So, after this, tell Rio to go to "Shutter 6", though as you do,
you'll enter a Battle with a Caterpillar Type 2, so take it out. Then,
continue on to Shutter 6 and then open it for her and as she continues on,
she hears a noise nearby and enters the "Moon Suite", so, you'll continue
on from there.

you to keep an eye open and warn her. Don't bother until she lowers her
guard, thinking she just heard the noise, then tell her "Turn right!" so
she avoids getting hit. If you fail, she'll get nailed with a steel pipe,
but the game still continues on. If successful, when she asks to shoot,
tell her "No". Watch the scene, as apparently this is where the Prime
Minister and his wife and men were hiding. When asked if you can open the
Shutter, tell them "Yes", then afterwards, Rio will leave, as she attempts
to reach the Receiving Port, though, for now, if you want a Heal Capsule
and can fight a Caterpillar Type 2 for one, tell her to go to
"Shutter 12", otherwise, tell her to go to the "Elevator Hall" and on your
way there, you'll fight a Tentacle and a Leech Type 2 and afterwards,

Type 1 and a Tentacle, so, watch out. After this, tell Rio to go to the
"Elevator" to find a Heal Capsule, then tell her to go to the "Receiving
Port", as Rio meets up with the Prime Minister and company. After this,
tell Rio "Power Panel" to identify the 2 power panels here, then turn both
of them on, then open the "Gate Switch", as a massive cutscene takes
place. After the rescue team comes in to save you, Rio borrows a combat
suit and changes her clothes, then plans to sneak out, since the others
will be safe now and wants to find Helen and Naomi. She asks if you still
can trust her and will help her, so, tell her "Yes", as she grabs a new
weapon, a Machine Gun now and she attempts to run, but Captain Yatsumeda
holds her up.

Though, he gets distracted from a radio message from his men, as Rio takes
her chance and leaves. Rio gets free and comments on the Monster the
rescue team they couldn't take down and decides if they check every room,
they'll eventually find Naomi, so, she decides to start looking. So, let's
get started. Tell Rio to go to the "Control Staff Quarters" and once
there, open the door for her and you'll continue on.

(Jonathan.) x1, Heal Capsule x4, Scientific Document x1 and Strafe x1.
Enemies In The Area: Caterpillar Type 1 x2, Leech Type 1 x6 and Leech Type
2 x2.

As you enter the room, tell Rio to go over to the "Galley" and once there,
tell her "Dinnerware" to identify the dinnerware, then tell her to "Check
the Dinnerware" to get a Heal Capsule. Next, tell her "Coffeemaker" to
identify the cofeemaker, "Coffee Beans" to identify the coffee beans,
then "Ham" to identify the ham, "Donut" to identify the donut, "Bread" to
identify the bread, "Cheese" to identify the cheese, "Juice" to identify
the juice and finally, tell her "Wax Paper" to identify the wax paper, as
well as find something written near it that says "Strafe". In Battle, when
you say this now, Rio will move her Machine Gun around as she shoots the
Monster. She does NOT move side to side herself, as what you'd expect
normally.

After this, tell Rio to go to the "Table" and once there, tell her "Jar Of
Candy" to identify the jar of candy and the candy here. Now, I suggest
you have Rio "Eat the Candy" and do this twice to make her comply and
repeat this a few times and make a NOTE of which ones she eats and the
flavor. If not, I'll tell you later on. Next up, don't bother with the
"Lockers" just yet and instead, tell Rio to go to the "Shower Room" and on
your way you'll encounter a Caterpillar Type 1 and 2 Leech Type 1s, so be
careful. Once you win, continue to the "Shower Room" and tell Rio "Shower"
to identify the shower and then "Shampoo" to identify the shampoo and find
a Heal Capsule.

Next, have Rio go to the "Storage Area" and as you get close, you'll fight
a Battle involving 6 Leech Type 1s, so be on guard. After you're done,
continue to the "Storage Area" and once there, tell Rio "Vacuum Cleaner"
to identify the vacuum cleaner, then "Cardboard Box" to identify the 3
cardboard boxes here and then tell her "Invoice" to identify the invoice.
Read the invoice yourself, then tell Rio to "Read the Invoice" and make a
note of something. Remember the candy you ate? Well, tell Rio to "Check
the top Cardboard Box" and it'll zoom in for you or just say "Zoom In" to
look at the cardboard boxes. Notice the fruit and all...which one here
wasn't one of the ones you tasted?

If you said strawberry, God damn you're good. This little part took me a
GOOD while to figure out, especially when I kept trying "CANDY, GOD
DAMNIT!" into Jonathan's Lock Panel for a good while. Anyway, after this,
tell Rio to go to the "Second Floor" and once there, tell her to go to
the "Balcony". At the "Balcony", tell Rio "House Plant" to identify the
house plant, then tell her "Trash Can" to identify the trash can and then
tell her to "Check under the Bench" to find Scientific Document. Next,
tell Rio to go to "Jonathan's Room" and once there, you'll have to open
the lock here, so, hit the "Lock Panel" and you'll be asked for a
password.

The correct answer is "Strawberry Candy" and you'll be able to enter his
room. Once inside, tell Rio "PC" to identify the PC and after you do, make
yourself examine the PC itself and download the night vision by hitting
the Square Button 3 times. After this, Rio will download it for you and
you'll have all the cameras now equipped with night vision. Next, tell her
"Jar Of Candy" to identify the jar of candy and finally, tell her
"Employee ID" to get the Employee ID (Jonathan.) Card. After this, tell
Rio to go to Gustav's Room and once there, hit the "Lock Panel" and you'll
have to guess another password. Rio will use the Scientific Document to
help you solve this. The correct answer is "Two Chloro, 3 Methyl,
Pentane" and after you say this, you'll get access to his room. Once
inside, Rio will get the Employee ID (Gustav.) Card.

After this, tell Rio to go down to the "First Floor" and once there, have
her go to the "Lockers". Once you're there, tell her "Locker" to identify
the 2 lockers, then open Gustav's Locker, the one to the right first
using the code on his Employee ID Card, which is 7994265. Inside, Rio will
find a Chip. Next, open Jonathan's Locker using the code on his Employee
ID Card, which is 1515155 and inside Rio will find a Heal Capsule. After
this, leave the room and back in the Hall, have Rio go to the "Service
Staff Quarters" and as you get close, Rio will hear gunfire nearby. She
rushes to "Warehouse", as she shows you a dead end has a Heal Capsule.
You can grab it later. After Rio attempts to enter, a shake disturbance
locks the door, so, you'll need to get Rio's ID Card to enter, back at the
Service Staff Quarters, which is where you were going.

Back in control of her, have Rio go to "Area A" to get that Heal Capsule
now, then have her go to the "Service Staff Quarters", but as you do,
you'll enter a fight with a Caterpillar Type 1, so just easily take this
thing out and then enter the room.

Items In The Area: Heal Capsule x1 and Warehouse ID Card x1.
Enemies In The Area: Leech Type 1 x2 and Plant x1.

As you enter this place, Rio will see it's in ruins, as you encounter a
new Alien to deal with. This thing is HUGE and STRONG. The Plant appears
with 2 Leech Type 1s, so, I suggest you kill these pests first, then
concentrate your assault on the Plant. Watch out for the Plant's Shockwave
most of all and to defeat it, aim for its Branches, then when they're
knocked back, go for any of its 3 Eyes and repeat this until its dead.
After the Battle, Rio will head to "Rio's Room", only to see it also in
shambles. She becomes really depressed and you can reply to her here, so,
just say anything until she gets up and asks what did you come here to do
again.

Tell her "To get the Warehouse ID Card" and she'll find it. Afterwards,
she'll head back down to the "First Floor" and once there, tell her to go
to the "Galley", as she'll find a Heal Capsule. After this, make SURE
you're at good Health with Rio and if not, play "She Sells" or use a Heal
Capsule, then have her go to the "Save Point" and Save your game. When
you're ready, leave the room and back in the Hall, tell Rio to go to the
"Warehouse" now. Once there, the noises inside have stopped apparently
and after this, Rio enters the Warehouse, as you continue on.

Items In The Area: Break Time x1, Chip x1, Heal Capsule x3 and Launcher x3.
Enemies In The Area: Frog x1, Leech Type 1 x8, Leech Type 2 x4 and
Tentacles x6.

Once you're inside, that night vision you got will kick in, but Rio won't
have any assistance, since all she can see is darkness. When she asks if
you can see her, tell her "Yes" and she decides to test this. She tells
you to tell her what hand she's holding up. Tell her either "Right",
"Left", "Neighter" or "Both" depending on what she does. Pass 3 times and
you'll continue on and if not, try again until you do. After this, you'll
enter a Battle with 3 Tentacles, so, do the best that you can and this is
why I had you heal yourself and Save. Afterwards, make sure your Health is
good again, then tell Rio to go to "Area A-2" to enter a Battle with 1
Leech Type 1 and 1 Leech Type 2.

After the Battle, continue on to fight another Battle, this one involving
2 Tentacles and 1 Leech Type 1. After the fight, have Rio go to "Area B-1"
after she checks "Area A-2" and along the way you'll enter ANOTHER Battle.
This one envolves 3 Leech Type 2s, so be careful. Once you win, continue
to "Area B-1" and once there, tell Rio to go to "Area B-2" as you enter
yet another Battle. This one involves 2 Leech Type 1s and a Tentacle, so
be careful as always. Once you're done, continue on to "Area B-2" and once
there, you'll find a Chip and after this, have Rio go to "Area C-1" and as
you do, you'll enter your final Battle here, which is against 2 Tentacles
and a Leech Type 1. So, after this, whew, you're done and now head to
"Area C-1" to find some writing that says "Break Time".

This allows Rio to take a break, which...is useless, yeah. After this,
she'll walk over to "Area C-2" and she'll find some switches, so, hit the
"Main Switch" on to let Rio see fully now. Then, watch the cutscene that
ensues and when prompted by Rio on what to do, tell her "Run!" (Also, this
is the first time you'll see that blue Alien, so just run, don't even
attempt to fight it.) After you escape, tell Rio to go to "Area A" to find
a Heal Capsule, then have her go to the "Save Point" to Save your game
and afterwards, tell her to go to "Area C", as you'll enter a Battle with
another new Alien here, known as a Frog. You'll fight one of these and a
Leech Type 1 and after the Battle, the Frog will cough up the Launcher it
ate moments ago, as Rio takes it.

Finally, tell Rio to head to "Area B", as she reaches a dead end, but she
uses the Launcher she just got to blow away the debris and it works, as
she continues on. As you enter this area, listen to the explanation Rio
gives on crossing the ducts. She tells you to guide her along and when
she should move, tell her the color of the duct to jump to. Like, say
"Red" if you want her to go to red or "Blue" for the blue duct. Rather
simply, but the problem is, there's loose sections on the ducts.
Basically, take your time going across and if you see a duct that's
shaking, move her to another duct FAST or she'll fall. There's two parts
to this and the second part is the same as the first, but this time
there's steam coming from the ducts. If Rio touches this, she'll fall,
so, again, avoid it.

If you manage to fall and I'm sure you will at least once, check Area B
on the first duct to find a Heal Capsule and check Area D if you fall on
the second duct to find another Heal Capsule. Also, make a note that if
you fall, it'll hurt Rio a tiny bit. So, if you screw up enough, heal her
so she doesn't die. Anyway, when she finishes explaining, she asks if this
is alright. Tell her "Yes" and she'll start. Also, if you want her to stop
moving, tell her "Stop" and to resume her, tell her "Walk". After this, do
your best to get across the vents and once you make it fully across, Rio
will find 2 Launchers and then she exits this area. In this area, tell Rio
to go to the "Waiting Room" and once there, she'll enter it herself.

As Rio enters this room, she finds Helen Johnson, the Reporter she was
looking for, but she's dead, unfortunately. So, Rio starts looking for a
disc dated August 8th and you have to help her. The correct disc is the
one farest to the left, since you can tell by hitting the Square Button
and analyzing each disc. Tell Rio "Red and blue stars" to identify the
disc, as she finds what she was looking for. She then decides to explain
to you what it is she's looking for here and you'll watch what she was
trying to find. As Rio explains herself, she asks you who to ask about
the weird stone, since Helen's dead. Tell her the name of anyone you've
met and she'll give you a response of no and why, but the correct reply is
"Gino".

She agrees he'd know, since he's a Security Guard and all and then asks
you if you want to know more about what it is she's doing. Tell her "Yes"
and when she asks you if you're sure, tell her "Yes" again. After she
talks to you, you'll regain control over her, so, first, tell Rio to go
to the "Vending Machines" and once there, tell her "House Plant" to
identify the house plant, "Dispenser" to identify the 2 dispensers, then
"DVD" to identify the DVDs, then tell her to "Check under the Bench" to
find a Heal Capsule. After this, tell her "Video Camera" to identify the
video camera and then tell her to "Check the Video Camera" to find a Chip
under it.

Once you get this, don't bother having Rio go to the "Table" or "Window",
as both areas don't have anything at them at all. Instead, have her go to
the "Business Center" and once there, tell her "Copier" to identify the
2 copiers, then tell her to "Check the front Copier" as she finds a
document inside and then tell her to "Make a Copy on the front Copier", as
a piece of paper comes out that says "Jump" on it. In Battle, this lets
you tell Rio to "Jump", which is VERY helpful later on. Next, tell her
"Key Box" to identify the key box here, then have yourself attempt to
open it. As you do, Rio's asked for a password based on her name. She
says her name, but it doesn't work and it's left up to you. Basically, you
have to know the Manager's Name to get in, which the correct answer,
thanks to looking at the Employee IDs is "Jonathan Turner", so say that
when you're asked.

Once it opens, Rio get the Restaurant Key now, you can continue on, so,
first, have her go to the "Save Point" and Save your game, then leave the
room. Back in the Hall again, tell Rio to go to the "Elevator Hall" and
once there, she'll enter it herself and inside, I suggest you take care of
the Monster here first, which I've named the Teleporting Walker. This
thing is a BITCH to fight, but take care of it now. To fight it, tell Rio
to go to the "Elevator" and as she does, she'll fight it. If you want to
wait until later, then just tell her to go to the "Observatory Restaurant"
and continue on from there. For the Teleporting Walker, Target its Eye as
much as possible, as that's its weak point and when it appears above you
spinning, tell Rio to Jump just about as it stops spinning to avoid its
Shockwave.

As Rio enters this place, does it look familiar? It should, as Rio asks
you if you remember this place, so, tell her "Yes". After this, tell Rio
to go to "Section 1", as she'll find a Heal Capsule there and next, tell
her to go to "Section 2", but she goes to the "Chandelier" instead since
she sees that "Exit 2" is blocked off and hears a noise coming from the
debris. She wants to get through, but isn't sure what to do, so, tell her
to "Use a Launcher" against the Panel. After this, tell her "Chandelier"
and then tell her "Use a Launcher" again if you still have the 2 you found
earlier, but unfortunately, there's 1 more Panel. So, for now, have Rio go
to "Section 2", as she enters a Battle with a Frog and either a Leech Type
1 or a Caterpillar Type 2, as you'll get possible some Launchers after you
beat them.

Next, tell Rio to go to "Section 4" to enter a Battle with a Frog and
either a Leech Type 1 or a Caterpillar Type 2 and after this, have Rio go
to "Section 3" to fight another Battle with a Frog and either a Leech Type
1 or a Caterpillar Type 2. As a slight note, though, if you exit and enter
the room and keep checking Sections 2, 3 and 4 to get Launchers, so, if
you want, do this, but you have to fight each time. After you do this,
head back to the "Chandelier" and blast away the last Panel here and once
you do, Rio will find a Chef who was trapped here. Rio tells him to go to
the Receiving Port for safety and as thanks, he gives you the Elevator
Code.

After this, if you feel like wasting a Launcher to get a Heal Capsule,
tell Rio to go to "VIP Seat 4" and blast the Panel here with a Launcher
when asked, otherwise, do have Rio go to "VIP Seat 1" and once there, use
a Launcher on the Panel. Once you do, head to "VIP Seat 2" to find a Chip.
Next, tell Rio to go to "VIP Seat 3" and once there, tell her "Menu" to
identify the Menu and read it if you want, then "Floor Lamp" to identify
the floor lamp and after this, tell her to "Knock over the Floor Lamp", as
she finds a piece of paper that says "I'll Leave It To You" on it. When
you say this in Battle, Rio will fight on her own instead of you telling
her what to do. Finally, tell Rio to go to the "Save Point" and Save your
game, then tell Rio to go to "Exit 1" to leave the room and back in this
area, have Rio go to the "Elevator" and if you already haven't, fight the
Teleporting Walker here, which is a new Monster you'll face.

Once inside the Elevator, though, Rio tells you to input the code you just
got, which is on the Elevator Code and it's 0423. So, hit the "Touch
Panel" and input that code and the elevator will begin to move and you'll
see a scene of Rio talking to you. When she asks you if you're alone, tell
her what you want and when she asks what the first thing your mom taught
you was, she means your first word, tell her what it is, if you know,
otherwise, say anything. After she tells you hers, she asks you what your
favorite saying is. Again, tell her whatever it is and afterwards, she
asks if you want to know more about her, so tell her "Yes". After some
rather interesting dialogue, another shock is detected and the area is
locked down again for safety, but Rio makes it through just before the
elevator doors lock.

After this, if you want to get a Heal Capsule, tell Rio to go to "Exit 2",
but you'll have to fight a Caterpillar Type 2 and 4 Leech Type 1s for it,
so, really, ignore it. So, grab it if you really want, otherwise, have Rio
go to "Exit 1" and once you're in the new Hall, tell Rio to go to the
"Break Room", but before you do, you'll fight a Battle with a Caterpillar
Type 2, so, take it out, then enter the "Break Room" and continue on.

As you enter this room, you'll enter a Battle with a Teleporting Walker
and afterwards, have Rio go to the "Galley" and once there, you'll enter a
Battle with 3 Caterpillar Type 2s, so, take them out. Afterwards, continue
on to the "Galley" and once there, tell Rio "Tissue Paper" to identify the
tissue paper, "Sugar" to identify the sugar, "Tea Bag" to identify the
tea bag and then tell Rio "What's near the Tea Bag?" to get her to find
the piece of paper on the tea bag that says "Jump Back" on it. In Battle,
if you tell Rio this, she'll jump backwards, so, it's rather helpful.
After this, tell her "Coffee Bag" to identify the coffee bag and to find a
Heal Capsule.

Next up, tell her to go to the "Table" and once there, tell her "Cardboard
Box" to identify the cardboard box, "Teacup" to identify the teacup, "Tea
Mug" to identify the tea mug, "Mug" to identify the mug and to also find a
Chip, "Coffee Bag" to identify the coffee bag, "Report" to identify the
report, then tell Rio to "Read the Report" to learn a little more about
Allen Honda. After this, tell Rio "Coffee Powder" to identify the coffee
powder, then tell her to "Clean up the Coffee Powder" and as she does, she
finds the Manager's Office Key. After this, tell Rio to go to the "TV" and
once there, you'll enter a Battle with a Caterpillar Type 1 and 2 Leech
Type 1s and afterwards, check the "TV" again to find 2 Launchers.

After this, have Rio head to the "Vending Machines" and once there, tell
her "Dispenser" to identify the 4 dispensers, "Trash Can" to identify the
trash can and then tell her to "Open the Trash Can" to have her find a
Launcher. Next, tell her "Cardboard Box" to identify the cardboard box,
then tell her to "Check the very top of the left Vending Machine" to have
her find a Heal Capsule. After this, make sure you're at good Health with
Rio and then tell her to go to the "Save Point" and Save your game, then
leave the room and as you do, Rio will meet Gino. After some conversation,
Gino obviously doesn't want Rio to go on, as he wants to keep her safe and
all, but she can't let him and asks for your advice on what to do. Tell
her to "Threaten him" and she'll hold him at gunpoint and ask him to watch
the DVD and tell her where the room is.

He will and after you learn the place you need to go is the "Exhibit
Room", she knocks Gino out, since he lies where Manager Tanaka is and Rio
notes this. Afterwards, back in the Hall now, tell Rio to go to the
"Manager's Office" and on your way there, you'll enter a Battle with 2
Tentacles and 1 Leech Type 1. After this, continue on and you'll fight
another Battle which has 3 Frogs, which one of the Frogs takes a little
more hits in the Red Stomach to kill this time. After the Battle, you
should get 1 or 2 Launchers and after this, I suggest you go back and
Save your game now, as you're about to fight a semi Boss, so, once you
Save, head back to the "Manager's Office" and continue from there.

Enemies In The Area: Tanaka x1.

As you enter this room, a scene will take place as a weird, blue Alien
appears. Thing is, is this Tanaka? Rio seems to think so, but won't shoot
him and you're forced to help her. Tell her to "Shoot!" and she won't,
tell her "Shoot!" again and she'll do so. After this, you'll enter a
Battle with Tanaka, so, get ready, as he's a BITCH to fight. Basically,
shoot any area of his body that has red electricity around it, as that's
the only time you can hurt him. Dodge his Energy Blasts he throws at you
JUST as they're about to hit you an run away from him when he gets near.
When he throws a Energy Blast, dodge it and then Target and shoot whatever
part of his body is red at the time. Also, for a quick way to nail each of
his body parts when they're all red, tell Rio to "Strafe".

After the Battle, Rio finds Tanaka's Note about all the Guests and their
status currently, as Rio notes that they're all dead. Next, you'll have to
find the key to the Exhibit Room, so, first, have Rio go to the "Hotel
Registry" to find a Launcher. Then, have her go over to the "Desk" and
once there, tell her "Monitor" to identify the monitor, "Document" to
identify the 3 documents and tell Rio to "Read the Document on the Desk",
then tell her to "Take the Document on the Desk" to get the Number Note.
You can read the other documents, but they have nothing useful on them.

Next up, tell her to go to the "Bedroom" and once there, tell her to go to
the "Shower Booth" to find a Launcher, then tell her to go to the "Bed".
Once there, tell her to "Check the Pillow", as you'll find the final Chip.
After this, tell her "Monitor" to identify the monitor, "Notebook" to
identify the notebook and read it yourself to get a hint of something in
the Safe, then tell her "Bookshelf" to identify the bookshelf and finally,
tell her "Safe" to identify the safe. Then, tell Rio to "Open the Safe"
and when she starts to, you have to tell her what to do. So, tell her
"4 right", then "6 left" and then "2 right" to open it. If you happen to
screw up, tell Rio "Reset" to reset the combination and start over.
Anyway, Rio finds the Exhibit Room Key and a disc that's Allen Honda's,
called Allen's Disc.

She decides to see what it is and rushes back to the "Desk" and puts in
the DVD to see what it is. Watch it, as ALOT gets explained. (Basically,
you understand now about the VERY beginning of the game and who Paracelsus
is and all.) Afterwards, alot comes clear to you and Rio understands more
now and decides to find the Acursed Stone and then Allen afterwards. For
now, tell Rio to go to the "Save Point" and Save the game and after this,
leave the room. Back in the Hall, tell Rio to go to the "Exhibit Room" now
and once there, Rio sees two areas to use the Exhibit Room Key on and
tries them both, but they don't work. Seems you need 2 people to do it at
the same time, so, you and Rio must hit them at the exact same time to
open it.

She tells you when you're ready to say "Get ready, set!" and then wait a
second and then hit it and you should get it to open. If not, keep trying

Rio asks you to analyze the device here, so, analyze the "PBX" and Rio
sees its a bomb and asks you to tell her how to defuse it. Check it
again and tell her the words in yellow, which are "Enter the sum of the
last digits of today's date (D/M/Y)".

This is easy, so, 2+4+9=15, so, input 15 and next, tell her the second
code, which is "Enter the number of guests checked into the hotel", as Rio
tells you 13, but this is wrong as you try to enter this. The correct
answer is 50, so, enter 50 and finally, the last code is "Enter the sum of
the last digits of PM Takayama's birth date (D/M/Y)", but Rio has NO clue
what this is and panicks. Tell her to "Check the DVD", since it has the
footage of what his birthday is, as, well, it's today and he's 60. (You
can remember this from the start of the game during the opening scene.)
Rio tries to remember what he said, but can't and leaves it to you. You
can analyze the "Video Disc" on Rio if you need to, but the correct answer
is 15, just like the first answer was, so, input that and Rio will get
the bomb as it drops.

After this, Rio gets sentimental with you and she asks if you two can ever
meet, so, tell her "Yes" and after some more talk, the rescue team enters,
as it appears they aren't a rescue team actually...and something is
definitely up. Though, that weird blue Alien enters again, as the one
Soldier holds her off, while Rio and another Soldier run. Rio runs away,
as both Soldiers chase her and you're asked to close the Shutter to stop
them, so do so, but the Shutter gets stuck. You'll have to shoot the
levers here by telling Rio which color to hit. You ALWAYS want to hit the
top lever, so tell her either "Red Lever" or "Yellow Lever" and if one of
the Soldiers begins shooting at her, tell her to "Take cover". Though,
stay down only until a Soldier goes away and then go back out and shoot.
They Soldiers can shoot the Levers, too, but also, they have like a 3
second delay time when they come out before they shoot, so, use this
chance.

Also, you can get hit, so be careful as well. Though, once you finish
this, Rio will rush to the Receiving Port, as she meets up with Gino again
and even the weird blue Alien again, as it can go through Shutters
obviously. When prompted what to do, tell her to "Run away!", as if you
tell her to "Shoot!", you and Gino will die unpretty deaths. After Rio
escapes, she reaches the Receiving Port, only to see a very unfortunate
scene. You'll see who the rescue team really is and how everyone here will
die, as they shoot the Prime Minister, his wife and his aide. Rio rushes
in too late, as Captain Yatsumeda is about to kill her, but the Prime
Minister's Wife curses them, as she transforms into an Alien and kills
them all, except Rio and then she dies.

After the rather shocking scene, Rio comments on it all, then takes
Allen's Laptop and uses it to check some things out, as Rio explains
everything to you about herself now, so, listen. She talks about her, why
she's doing all this, who Peracelsus is, the Philosopher's Stone, her
father and his studies, everything. You learn how Joseph Kraft shot her
father and her and how she fled to Japan afterwards, since she lived.
After she talks a whole lot, you get Joseph's Disc and you're inquired to
reply, so, say anything and Rio decides to find Kraft, the Philosopher's
Stone, save you and find Naomi. She starts to doubt if Naomi's alive, but
thinks she's in the Testing Ward and decides to head there, since that's
where you're located near.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items In The Area: Heal Capsule x1 and Shooter x1.
Enemies In The Area: None.

As she does, she reaches a 0 gravity area after riding a elevator down.
She needs a Air Shooter to move about and asks you to open the "Case", so,
do so. After this, Rio continues on down the Corrider. First, tell Rio to
go to "Hatch 1" and once there, open it for her using the "Hatch Panel"
and she'll then enter. (Also, Rio can still run if you tell her, though
I never noticed a different in her speed...) Once inside, tell Rio to go
to "Hatch 5" once she reaches a fork in the road and inside here, she'll
find a Heal Capsule, then she goes back. Next, tell her to go to "Hatch 2"
and once there, open it for her. In this area, you'll enter the
Laboratory, so, continue on from there.

- W. Laboratory . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ LABO6.23 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items In The Area: None.
Enemies In The Area: None.

Once you're in the Laboratory, Rio comments on the area, then you're able
to direct her around. First, tell her to go to the "Sample Cases" and
once there, tell her "Sample Case" to identify the 3 sample cases here
and if you wish, tell her to "Check the bottom/middle/top Sample Case" to
look at the things here. After this, tell Rio to go to "Experiment Rack 2"
and once there, tell her "Control Panel" to identify the control panel and
then "Robot Arm" to identify the robot arm. The other two racks, 1 and 3
are all the same, so don't bother going there to identify things as
they're already identified now, but here at 2, you'll see a shoe floating
above Rio. Tell her to "Look up", as she sees the shoe and grabs it,
asking you to identify it. So, analyze the "Shoe" and it appears to be
Naomi's.

After this, she sees a shute to go up in, but can't go in there until the
Experiment Rack is moved and needs to find a way to do so. So, tell Rio to
go to the "Storage Booths" and once there, tell Rio "Storage Rack" to
identify the 4 storage racks here, which have nothing in them, so ignore
them, then tell her "Lock Lever" to identify the lock lever and finally,
tell her "Control Device" to identify the control device and tell Rio to
"Check the Control Device". She checks it out and sees she can operate it
to get the Experiment Rack to go down and tells you to turn it on, so, do
so.

At this time, Rio has to speak the code to the Operator, rather, you and
you have to QUICKLY enter the code she gives and enter it within the time
limit. Apparently, the input codes are random, so, do your best, but be
careful, as Rio can easily screw up, so listen to her if she goes "Ugh" or
"Er" or something. Once you input 6 codes, you'll get through this, as Rio
pulls the "Lock Lever" down, as you do it. Rio floats up to go check it
out, as a rather emotional scene takes place. Rio finds a brain in a test
tube, as she's shocked and sees she can talk to it and talks to it, as it
wants to die, since this is torture. Apparently, this is Rio's Father, as
she learns this, but he doesn't see this is Rio and she breaks down into
tears and you have to do it for her. Don't worry, you MUST do this, you
can't save him or say anything to her, so, just hit the "Control Device"
and end this.

After this, apparently the Space Station Hotel will crash into the Earth
in about 32 minutes and crash into Tokyo, Japan. Rio notes this, as it
appears the terrorists are doing this and she leaves.

After this, she decides to come get you and find Naomi afterwards, as she
exits and another cutscene takes place, as that weird blue Alien appears
and it appears to be Naomi! Rio tries to touch her, but she gets hurt and
her headset falls off and you're prompted to talk, so say anything and
Naomi recognizes your voice. After another emotional scene, Naomi dies and
Rio becomes sad yet again and I guess you do as well, though, eh, oh well.
(Yes, I'm a heartless bastard. :)) Rio wallows in self pity after this,
as you're prompted to talk again, so, say anything again and she
continues on about how Naomi wants her to save you and she swears she will.

She asks if you'll wait for her, so, tell her "Yes" and she thanks you and
then tells you about the Aliens if you didn't already figure it out yet.
Though, after this, Joe Powers appears and another scene happens.
Apparently he was behind all this and explains what the Aliens are and
all, especially about the Philosopher's Stone and what it would to to
Humans if exposed. After he mocks her and you, he tells how you were
bitten by a Caterpillar and will die soon and how he was the one who put
you in there. Apparently, he's the one who killed Rio's Father and shot
her before and notes how he's amazed he didn't kill her before, as he
finishes the job, shooting her in the heart with a Shotgun! He tells her
that Joseph Kraft translates to Joe Powers in English from German, as she
gets up and shoots him dead. (Um, just a note, though. Kraft is "Strength"
in German, not Powers. And Powers in English translated to German is
Energy, so, yeah...)

How Rio is alive is a mystery, but she explains what happened and that he
did kill her, but her father saved her by putting the Philosopher's Stone
into her and that's how she's living, since she has no heart now and that
the one he has is a fake. She apologizes for Naomi and swears you'll be
ok, as she'll use the stone to save you. After this, tell Rio to go to
"Hatch 3" so you can go back to the Laboratory and once here, tell her to
go to the "Save Point" and Save your game. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS. After
this, have Rio go to "Hatch 3" again and back in the Corrider, have Rio
go through "Hatch 4", then "Hatch 6", as she enters a weird room called
the "Zero-Gravity Warehouse" and a cutscene takes place. Apparently
there's a TON of Philosopher's Stones here, copies of them and if they go
all over the world, chaos WILL ensue.

She gets pissed and shoots them all and after some talking once she calms
down, she decides to self destruct the station so these don't reach Earth,
as she tells you to wait for her, as she reaches the Monitor Room and
becomes happy. She asks if you can see her, so tell her "Yes" and she asks
if she can come in, so, tell her "Yes" and she's excited, but apparently,
Kraft isn't dead...somehow. He shows the Philosopher's Stone revived him,
as they both talk and she shoots a Launcher at him, which apparently does
nothing to him and he absorbs all the Philosopher's Stones and transforms
into a HUGE ASS Monster. She runs for it and has an idea on how to fight
him, since her Machine Gun can't hurt him.

Rio decides to use the Escape Pod's Engine to fry Kraft and tells you to
turn it on for her and tells you to help her one final time, then she'll
save you. Kraft transforms again, getting even bigger now, as the final
Battle begins...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Y. The Final Battle . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ TFIBA6.25 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items In The Area: None.
Enemies In The Area: Float Eye x? and Kraft x1.

This is it. Kraft is rather hard, but he can be pretty easy for a last
Boss. Basically, you have 2 Escape Pod's Thrusters to use against him, as
you and Rio both control one. Using the D-Pad, you can move the left
Escape Pod yourself, but you must speak to Rio and tell her where to move
hers. "Up", "Down", "Left" and "Right" work and this is YOUR left, right,
etc, not hers. Also, "Upper Left/Right" and "Lower Left/Right" work for
moving diagonally. You have two Health Bars here, a top and bottom one.
The bottom is you, the top is Kraft. To hurt Kraft, he can only be hurt
after he releases this red barrier, which you have to target both sides of
and once it's destroyed, nail him with your thruster to hurt him. If you
can also get Rio over there, the damage will increase even more.

Though, if you fail to destroy his barrier in time, he'll hit you with a
VERY, VERY powerful laser, so be careful. Kraft releases a ton of Float
Eyes as I call them and there's a TON of them. Destroy them with your
thrusters to stop them, but they don't deal much damage to you even if
they hit you, but still, stop them if you can. So, keep your assault up
on Kraft's Barrier, (Which the points to airm for look like small Demon
like things.) nail him with your thrusters and he'll die after a while.
Once he dies, it's all over.

Congratulations! You've completed LifeLine! Now, enjoy the ending and the
final password you need to know is "Love".

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Z. Ending . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ ENDI6.26 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Kraft dies, you and Rio meet, as they both talk and Rio activates
the self destruct of the place, but the escape hatch won't open and you
need a password. Speak the command as normal when Rio asks you what it is,
even though the command doesn't appear to do so and tell her "Love", as
you both escape. Enjoy the final cutscene and then the credits will role.
Afterwards, Save your game to get a "Complete Data" and if you replay the
game, Rio will have one HELL of a revealing outfit, plus everything from
the first game, including remaining Heal Capsules, Launchers, Chips,
commands, etc. Enjoy it all, even all the Bonuses you unlocked as well.

Well, that does it for me, folks. Thanks for reading my walkthrough, first
of all and I hope it helped you. Well, until next time, this is Kain
Stryder signing off. Take care and thanks!

= [ VII. Monster List ] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MONLI7 ]=
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

No survival game would be complete without a hoard of Monsters to fight
off, right? Well, LifeLine doesn't have a whole lot of different Monsters,
but there are plenty of them and they all pack a punch. Here's a rundown
on each of them and please note I use my own names for them, based on
what they look like the most. The Instruction Booklet seems to do this as
well, so, if something is named differently than what you're use to, the
description should easily give it away.

Note: When fighting Monsters, if a Target gets a red X next to it, then
that Target can no longer be damaged, so hit something else. Also, if a
Monster is still alive even after its Weak Point has been destroyed, try
destroying every other part of its body, except the parts I note below.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Caterpillar Type 1 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A light colored Capterpillar like creature that's slow
moving, but once it charges up, it's like a homing missle and can cause
medium damage.
Targets To Hit: Body, Left Eye, Middle Eye, Mouth, Red Eye, Right Eye and
Tail.
Weak Points: Red Eye. This appears once you've made the Left, Middle and
Right Eyes all X'd out.
Notes: These pesky things will be one of the more harder Monsters you
first encounter. They're rather weak, if you can exploit their Weak Point.
Basically, to take this bad boy down, Target the Left, Middle and Right
Eyes, then hit the Red Eye and it'll go down easily. Also, if you see
purple electricity forming around it, hit some Target that's not X'd FAST
or else you're going to be on the floor faster than you know what hit you.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Caterpillar Type 2 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A dark colored Capterpillar like creature that's slow moving,
but once it charges up, it's like a homing missle and can cause medium
damage.
Targets To Hit: Body, Left Eye, Middle Eye, Mouth, Red Eye, Right Eye and
Tail.
Weak Points: Red Eye. This appears once you've made the Left, Middle and
Right Eyes all X'd out.
Notes: These suckers are going to be a threat you encounter later in the
game. Unlike Type 1, they're stronger and can be deadly if not taken care
of fast enough. Basically, if you see purple electricity start to form
around them, make SURE you hit SOME Target that isn't X'd out to stop
this, otherwise, get ready to be hit and take some decent damage. Just a
note, though, NEVER Target the Body, as it's immune to gunshots. Also, the
Tail is only hitable if you're behind it or the purple electricity is
going around it. I suggest you aim for all the Eyes first, then the Mouth,
then the Tail last.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Float Eye -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A weird floating eye that Kraft launchers at you. Rather
weak, though.
Targets To Hit: None.
Weak Points: None.
Notes: Please refer to The Walkthrough, Y. The Final Battle for notes on
how to defeat him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Frog -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A weird Frog like creature that hops around and can deal
medium damage to you.
Targets To Hit: Body, Front Leg, Hind Leg, Left Stomach, Mouth, Red
Stomach, Right Stomach and Tail.
Weak Points: Red Stomach. This only appears after you knock out its Left
and Right Stomaches.
Notes: These pests are so annoying. Basically, they hop around alot, but
are easy to dispatch of if you know how. First, Target and destroy their
Front Leg, then Target their Tail to knock them on their back. From there,
destroy their Left and Right Stomaches to make the Red Stomach appear.
Destroy that afterwards and if it still isn't dead, go for the Mouth and
Body until it is. Also, most of the time these things drop Launchers,
which are AWESOME Items. They can either drop 0-2 of them when defeated,
so, pray you get some.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Kraft -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: The final Boss of the game, he was behind everything that
happened. Now he himself is a Monster, bent on destroying you for good.
Targets To Hit: None.
Weak Points: None.
Notes: Please refer to The Walkthrough, Y. The Final Battle for notes on
how to defeat him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Leech Type 1 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A light colored Leech that's very slow moving and causes
minimum damage.
Targets To Hit: Head, Stomach and Mouth.
Weak Points: Mouth. One shot does it. That or hitting the Head and then
the Stomach.
Notes: If these types of Leeches broke off from Leech Type 1, they're
going to be VERY weak, but if you fight these normally, they're like a
normal Leech Type 1, but they don't split apart, so don't worry.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Leech Type 2 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A dark colored Leech that's very slow moving and causes
minimum damage.
Targets To Hit: Head, Stomach and Mouth.
Weak Points: None. As far as I've seen, just targeting all three of its
body parts is the only real way to take down these pests. Though, I
suggest aiming for the Head, then switch back and forth between the
Stomach and Mouth after the Head gets X'd out.
Notes: Apparently sometimes these things will burst apart into 2 Leech
Types 1s after taking enough damage, though 1 clear shot to the Mouth
takes them out FAST.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Plant -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A giant Plant that resembles a Ochu/Malboro from Final
Fantasy. Sort of. It's VERY strong and can seriously damage you easily.
Targets To Hit: Body, Branches, Leaf, Left Eye, Middle Eye, Right Eye,
Root and Vines.
Weak Points: Left, Middle and Right Eyes.
Notes: This thing may look bad, but it's easy to take down. Aim for its
Branches and then any of its Eyes QUICKLY to severely hurt it. Just repeat
this until it dies. Though, DO watch out for its Shockwave attack, as that
can REALLY hurt Rio.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Spider -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A large Spider like creature that's immune to bullets, but
very weak to fire. It's VERY strong and can kill instantly.
Targets To Hit: None.
Weak Points: Fire.
Notes: You fight this when the time is right, after you get the Molotov
Cocktail. Follow The Walkthrough, H. Infirmary for information on how to
beat it exactly.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Tanaka -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: The result of what happened to Manager Tanaka...did he turn
into this Alien...? Either way, this thing is STRONG and can knock off
fair amounts of your Health with its Energy Blasts it throws at you, so
be careful.
Targets To Hit: Body, Head, Left Arm, Left Leg, Right Arm, Right Leg and
Tail.
Weak Points: None.
Notes: Tanaka can only be hurt when an area of his body has red
electricity going around it. Depending on what part does, Target that part
and shoot it. Other than that, run away from him when he gets close and
have Rio dodge his Energy Blasts when he throws them and then QUICKLY
Target whatever body part is red at that time. Repeat this until he falls.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Teleporting Walker -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A rather large Monster that's weird in appearence, but very
deadly. It can cause small damage, but dealing with it can be either easy
or hard.
Targets To Hit: Eye, Fin, Head, Horn, Left Claw, Mouth and Right Claw.
Weak Points: Eye. It's Mouth is also somewhat of a Target, but the Eye is
DEFINITELY the weak point here.
Notes: The problem with the Teleporting Walker is it teleports. Alot. So,
whenever you see it in the middle of teleporting or reappearing, shooting
it will NOT harm it. The best time to attack its Eye is when it appears
on the ground after falling out of the air or as soon as it appears away
from you. Whenever it appears above you, make sure you tell Rio to "Jump"
just as its spin slowly stops to avoid its Shockwave. Other than that, it
can attack you for pathetic damage, but the Shockwave can hurt you for a
good amount.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Tentacle -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information: A light colored Tentacle like hand that causes medium damage.
Targets To Hit: Body, Eye, Front Leg, Hind Leg, Inner Mouth, Mouth and
Tongue.
Weak Points: As far as I can see, it's Eye and Tongue are its weak points.
Basically, you'll want to Target these two when you can, though the Eye
only pops up for a brief moment when it decides to bring its hand like
body into a high five position. Targeting its Front Leg, Mouth and Inner
Mouth works good, though.
Notes: These things are a real pain. They love to lash at you with their
INSANELY long tongues and I'm talking whip like ones here. I suggest
staying as far back as you can from these things when fighting them, by
telling Rio to "Flee" as much as possible whenever they even remotely
close to you. Though, shooting their Tongue when they lash at you can
remedy this situation quite easily.

Throughout LifeLine, you may find pieces of paper that allow you and Rio
to play some Minigames whenever you feel like it. Some of these games are
also playable through unlocking them in the Bonus Mode when you collect
enough Chips throughout the game. Here's a complete list and run down on
each of the Minigames you'll come across and where to find each.

Note: There is NO reward for doing any of these Minigames, EXCEPT She
Sells, as this refills 1/4 of Rio's Health if you complete it. The rest
are all just for fun.

Once you find the piece of paper that has "Category Game" written on it,

Also, you can play this game once you've collected all 16 Chips as well.
She'll challenge you to a game, where she picks a category, such as, US
States and she lists one and you have 5 seconds to name one as well. This
goes back and forth until either you name every name on the list and she
ends up losing or you run out of time and she wins. There's no reward for
this game, as it's just for fun, but, here's the lists that were complied
thanks to TelemachusD on the LifeLine Message Board on GameFAQs:

could be anyone of these, not ALL of them at once.

This is one of the Bonus Games you receieve after collecting 8 Chips in
the Story Mode. In this game, you are given a sentence from a quote and
you must fill in the word that's missing. You'll probably get most of
these off the bat, as you've probably heard them throughout your life, but
there was a few that I didn't even know. For that, here's a list of what
I've personally seen so far that's been asked. Each round consists of 20
questions, each giving you only 10 seconds to solve and you get 1,000
points for every second left and for the mili-second, for example, you
get 5.62 seconds left, your score would be 5,62x something, as the game
doesn't show the next digit.

Note: The words in quotation marks are the ones that you need to fill in.

- E. The Calc . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ THCAL10.5 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another one of the games that gets unlocked once you collect 12 Chips in
Story Mode. The Calc is a Math game, where you're given a simple Math
problem and told to solve it. You're given 20 questions total, along with
10 seconds to solve the problem and the score is again based on how much
time is left when you get the answer. So, you get 1,000 points for every
second left and for the mili-second, for example, you get 5.62 seconds
left, your score would be 5,62x something, as the game doesn't show the
next digit. Either way, it's not really worth my time to list all the
solutions to the Math problems, as they are all easily guessed as long as
you passed Middle School Math. This is REALLY basic stuff and if you need
help on this, open a book or ask someone. Either way, good luck.

- F. Tutorial . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ TUTOR10.6 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, this isn't really a Minigame, per say, but it's available when you
first start the game up and is always available under Bonus Mode as long
as you have a Saved Game. It costs 0 Chips to unlock, so, yeah, you'll
always have it if you need it. I won't bother covering it here, as the
game does a good enough explanation on it and if you want to see it, just
load it up, as it just explains the basics to the game. I'll explain the
other things you'll need to know throughout this walkthrough.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you complete the game normally and after the credits role, Save your
game to get a Clear Data, then go to Load Game and load your Save and
you'll start New Game +. Only difference in New Game + is Rio has one HELL
of a skimpy outfit. (VERY short jeans and a tank top that leaves nothing
to the imagination and some shoes.) Plus, you keep all your Heal Capsules,
Launchers, Chips and Commands (As in "Jump", "Auto Fire", etc.) from what
you had when you completed the game.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Easy Healing -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Need to heal Rio and don't want to use a precious Heal Capsule? Once you
find the She Sells Paper, play She Sells and correctly say the 3 Tongue
Twisters and about 1/4 of Rio's Health will be restored. Do this about 4
times to completely heal her.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Get A Ton Of Launchers -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Love those Launchers and want more? In the Observatory Restaurant, check
the holes in the area, such as Section 2 and 3 and a Frog and a
Caterpillar Type 2 or a Leech Type 1 will appear. Sometimes after the
Battle, you'll receive anywhere from 0-2 Launchers and to get more, just
keep checking the Sections. (Try leaving the Observator Restaurant and
then entering it again if you can't get them to appear the second time.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Get Rio To Shoot The Camera -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the start of the game, after Rio asks you what your girlfriend's name
is, reply to all her questions with "No" constantly. She'll get fed up,
shoot the camera and walk out. It's Game Over, but still pretty funny.

other great titles!

Thanks for reading my walkthrough first of all. I sure hope it helped you.
If you wish to submit something to this walkthrough, send it to

else please. It isn't too hard and I'm not asking for alot. If you have
any questions regarding this game, also send them to me and label the
subject as "Question-LifeLine" please. Again, not asking much here and it
isn't hard to understand. Now for the legal stuff.
