Before you scroll down any further, I'd like to note some things. First, this
FAQ will cover anything that directly involves the NPCs in this game. This
includes items they have for trade, where the NPCs appear within the game, and
the Bikman Model Campaign, as this Campaign has you find and interact with the
NPCs. This guide will not list what the various NPCs say throughout the course
of the game, and currently does not list which type of generic model the NPC
uses, nor which color variant of said generic model they are. The guide may, in
the future, do so. I have found no reason to include this information at this
point, however.

To be blunt, I don't care what you do with the guide. I compiled the
information contained here to help people find items and NPCs, and as long as
you use it for that purpose, with no money being made on your part, you may
copy this wherever you want. Considering I spent a good while running through
the game to get the information, claiming it as your own wouldn't be cool. But
it's not like I'm going to go through the trouble of harassing you to take it
down or give credit or what have you. To judge interest in this type of guide,

OPTIONAL CAMPAIGN: BIKMAN MODEL [A01]

More commonly referred to as Bikman's Flyers, this campaign is identical to the
one from Rebirth. For those who haven't played Rebirth, Bikman Model is a quest
to talk to all 160 Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) in "The World" and give them
special flyers. The flyers are handed out automatically when you speak to an
NPC you haven't already given a flyer to, assuming the campaign has been
activated.
To start the campaign, you first need to progress through the story until you
enter your first Holy Palace Tournament match against team Crimson Blossom.
After winning the match, a new Quest entitled "Gathering Shadow" becomes
available at the Dol Dona Quest Shop. As usual, the Quest requires three
characters (you should consider bringing your tournament teammates along for
more affection and a level or two). The goal of Gathering Shadow is to hunt
down and kill a unique monster called a "Shadowless Dog."
After creating a team and accepting the Quest warp to the level 53 Area,
(Theta) Blowing Sea Sand's Hot Wind to get started. The first thing you're
likely to notice about this Area is that it's quite large. Because of this I
recommend using your Steam Bike to get from place to place. The enemies here
consist of Goblin Sages, Tick Masks and Death Kettles. They're all easy to
ambush, even on a bike without upgrades, so don't be shy about running the
enemies down to fill up your Ryu Book VIII. From the starting platform, head
east across the narrow "bridge" part of the map, and then head south. As you
approach the end of the second narrow area you'll notice a new type of enemy.
It's a variant of the Demon Beast tribe's Fang monster, the Shadowless Dog. It
should be noted that you can't ambush the Shadowless Dogs. When you approach,
a scene will occur and/or the Shadowless Dogs will attack you. Watch the scene,
then defeat the three Shadowless Dogs in battle. After the battle one of the
Shadowless Dogs will flee, and you're prompted to chase after it.
If you look behind you now, you'll notice a single Shadowless Dog sitting in
the area the three you just defeated had been. If you so desire, you can
surprise attack the dog. Otherwise move across the bridge to the west. There's
a Lucky Animal in this area, as well as a tree for Chims, should you want to
B-, A- or S-Rank this Area. Once you've kicked the Lucky Animal and had your
fill of Chims, head south across the bridge. You can go after the two altars
down here if want, as well as the altar on the bottom-most clearing. Once
you're done wandering around, head towards the western part of the map. Near
the bridge you'll find three more Shadowless Dogs. Again, you can't ambush
them, so don't try. Defeat the Shadowless Dogs and again one will run off. You
can go after the final altar now if you want, but where you need to go is north
into the dead end.
Upon arriving in the dead end, you'll get another scene and then be surrounded
by nine Shadowless Dogs. As the warning said, don't run and don't get on your
bike. Just use your right analog stick and find the Shadowless Dog that has a
shadow. From my experience, it's typically one of the three dogs right in front
of Haseo. Both times I've gone through this Quest, it's been the dog on the
left, but it may change. Either way, once you've located the Shadowless Dog
that has a shadow, approach it and press X to pick a fight with it and two
others. Defeat the three Shadowless dogs and you'll receive the tail Bikman
sent you here to get. Quest complete.
Now that you've completed the Gathering Shadow Quest, warp to Mac Anu and use
the platform to warp over into the Alchemy District. Run across the bridge
and turn right, and next to the side of the bridge you'll find Bikman (same
place she was in Rebirth). Speak to her and you'll start the campaign. Bikman
will give you two items: "Set of Flyers" and an item called a "Flyer Radar."
The Flyer Radar is a new addition in Reminisce that allows the player to
quickly see if there are any NPCs in the town or area that don't have a flyer.
It also breaks down what race and gender they are, should you be looking for a
particular NPC.
Generally speaking, you can complete everything in Bikman Model, with the
exception of the Medic Union members, in an hour and a half to two hours. The
items you get for completing the campaign (listed below) really aren't very
important, so if you'd rather play the game, you should just do that for now.
Make sure you speak to anyone you find in a field or dungeon, however,
especially if they're Beast Tribesmen who belong to the Medic Union, as with
the exceptions of Seisaku and Hideyo, they can't be found in Root Towns.
The fastest way to complete Bikman Model is to start with Mac Anu, move to
Lumina Cloth and then finally finish with Dol Dona. Moon Tree and Kestrel are
listed here, however the members of the guilds show up fairly often in other
places. The basic routine you'll be using is this:
1) Sign in
2) Use Flyer Radar
3) If there are NPCs without flyers, find and speak with them
4) Use Flyer Radar to make sure you've spoken with everyone
5) Sign out
6) Repeat
Once you've found all 132 NPCs that appear in the Root Towns, you can begin
looking for the Medic Union NPCs out in the fields. To do this as painlessly as
possible, I suggest (Delta) Elegant Swift Phoenix. It's a level 2 area, so you
can solo it without a second thought. But the real reason I chose it is because
there are only three platforms in the area and it's a small, three-segment
field. More over, there's also a Mecha Grunty, Lucky Animal and PK Battle Area
here, all of which can be done in two or three minutes, with only two battles
being fought. One battle, if you don't bother with the PK Battle Area. And
absolutely no fighting at all if you don't bother with the PK Battle Area or
Mecha Grunty.
To find the Medic Union members insert the Keywords Elegant Swift Phoenix into
the Chaos Gate, and then look in the part labeled "Area Status." You should
see a blue "people" icon with a number (ex: 003) next to it, and beside that a
pink "people" icon with it's own number. The way this works is the blue icon
shows you how many NPCs are currently in that area, and the pink icon shows you
how many of those people you've already met. As an example, if the blue number
was 5 and the pink number was 3, then there would be 5 NPCs in the area, 2 of
which you haven't met yet. This number randomly changes each time you enter the
screen or change Keywords. To start with, press left on the controller and see
if the numbers change to 004 for blue, and 001 for pink. If it does, go ahead
and warp to the area. If not, press right on the controller, and continue to go
back and forth until you get 004 and 001.
When you warp into Elegant Swift Phoenix you have a one in three chance of the
Medic Union members being at the starting platform. If they're not, go ahead
and run south across the bridge. Because of the fog, and the positions they're
in, the enemies literally won't be able to see you if you run into the center
of them, and then move outwards in a straight line between them. You can also
get back by running in between two of them (they'll still see you if you're
directly in front of them), and then exiting back on the bridge's side. If you
don't mind taking another fifteen seconds or so, you could also just run into
the enemies with your Steam Bike for free points in Ryu Book VIII.
Once you've gotten past the enemies, you'll notice the PK Battle Area on the
left in the back. There's also a Lucky Animal to your right and the second
platform in a third corner. Do what you will with the PK Battle Area (Chaotic
PKers won't appear unless you've activated that Campaign) and the Lucky Animal,
and then check the platform for Medic Union members. If they're there, you can
leave, or you can head up to the northern-most island for a Mecha Grunty.
Getting to Mecha Grunty requires you to fight the enemies because of their
position, however. It's not possible to run them over without them seeing you.
Once you've finished doing everything you want, return to Mac Anu. This time
when you go to Elegant Swift Phoenix, use the "Warp Record" instead. The same
redo tactic applies here, only instead of pressing left and right, you'll be
pressing X to enter the Field Status page, and then circle to leave it. It
should be noted that you don't always need pink to say 001, just make sure the
blue and pink numbers are different, otherwise there's no one new in the area.
This is the list of items you get from Bikman for handing out various amounts
of flyers. I don't know the exact number of flyers needed for each rank,
however when you have the first 132 NPCs you'll be at Rank 4 and have all of
the Human NPCs accounted for. It does seem that 160 flyers is required to reach
Rank 5, though.

The NPCs in the lists below are ordered the same way as Bikman's Character
List, meaning if you don't know who you're missing, you can count ???'s and
figure out who goes where, and where you need to go to find them. It should be
noted that NPCs won't appear in every server. If it doesn't say that they visit
a particular Root Town, then you won't find them there. The only possible
exception to that rule is Moon Tree, as I've had little experience with it at
various parts of the game.

There are a total of 132 NPCs in Reminisce that can be traded with. The 28
Medic Union NPCs can't be traded with and, as a result, are not listed here.
Since the items the NPCs carry change every so often, you may need to speak to
the same NPC on different occasions (logging out and then logging back in works
fine) before they have the item from this list that you want. Furthermore,
because the items change I have no real way of knowing if anything is missing.
As such, if you know of an NPC who has an item or variant that isn't listed
here, please let me know using the contact information at the end of the guide.
The NPCs are listed in alphabetical order, and are not separated by race or
gender. If you need to know where an NPC appears, hold the Ctrl key while you
press the F Key to open the search feature in your browser or notepad. The
locations aren't listed here simply to prevent the doubling of information and
to ensure that the list is still relatively easy to read.
*TIP: The Wrath Luer and Wrath Yantie weapons, commonly dropped at (Theta)
Severe Unclean Gray Dance are extremely good trading fodder. To the best of my
knowledge, no single item on this list, not even Level 90+ weapon and armor
such as Fist Thrush, Sub Dragon and Rough Dragon, require more than two of
either weapon, despite Blade Luer being a level 51 blade and Lance Yantie being
a level 24 lance. (Theta) Severe Unclean Gray Dance itself is a level 51 area.
