==SECTION 1: HISTORY OF CURRY MAN==
===================================
Christopher Daniels--a name that is quite familiar to fans of both Ring of
Honor and TNA--enjoyed fame in the Land of the Rising Sun as Curry Man, a
wrestler with one of the more bizarre masks in pro wrestling (no small
feat there!). If you haven't seen it, try to imagine a bright yellow mask
with sharp teeth and a plate of curry sitting on the top... strange to say
the least! (Apparently this costume was inspired by a mascot for a company
in Japan that sells Japanese-style curry.)

All zanyness aside, Daniels (real name: Daniel Christopher Covell) did
manage to earn a good degree of success in Japan while wrestling as Curry
Man, going as far as to win New Japan's IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team
Championship with fellow countryman American Dragon (Bryan Danielson).
And no matter what mask Daniels may have been hiding under during his time
overseas, nothing can hide the fact that he is an extremely talented
wrestler with an occasional flair for the theatrical (and the spicy!).

 * = Curry Man should technically be a freelancer, although he worked
     mainly for New Japan and Michinoku Pro during his time in Japan.
     And of course, if you're recreating Daniels' "Fallen Angel" alias,
     he belongs in whatever American promotion (Ring of Honor, TNA) you
     feel is adequate.

** = Strange that Fire Pro Returns should list Daniels' fictional country
     here when they usually list a wrestler's real country of origin.

==SECTION 4: STRATEGY==
=======================

GENERAL STRATEGY
Comparing him to his previous incarnation in Fire Pro D, Curry Man has
gained a few noticeable improvements in Fire Pro Returns, probably due to
his increased profile during his stint in New Japan. Many of his defensive
stats received a nice boost, and his improved post climbing speed makes
him more of a threat from the top rope than ever before. And whereas Curry
Man was strictly below average in FPD, he's become considerably more of
a threat to his fellow members in the FPR junior division.

Above all, you want to put on a good show with Curry Man, win or lose. You
should concentrate on having an entertaining match at all times, which
means taking a lot of risks off the top rope and dives outside the ring.
And sticking close to the corner is never a bad idea, where Daniels is
always a threat to run up the post and pull off a high-flying move.

STRIKES
Curry Man has the basic punch and kick in his arsenal, plus the American
Hook. And while these are all decent weapons, his weak Offensive Punch and
Kick stats (3 and 2 respectively) don't really warrant him using a lot of
strikes. They're good for distancing the opponent, but don't expect them
to do a whole lot of damage.

The Flying Rolling Pin -- his ([] + X) strike -- isn't really a strike at
all, but it looks cool if you can nail it during a match (the timing can
be difficult). And of course, it's always exciting to pull out the
surprise pin attempt out of nowhere!

GRAPPLES
Curry Man has quite a few awesome wrestling techniques in his medium and
strong grapple sets, including the Exploder, the Piledriver, as well as
the ever-popular Belly-to-Belly Suplex. And if you find using Curry Man a
challenge, perhaps there's some consolation in knowing that his Spicy Drop
is one of Fire Pro's coolest finishers. It's always great to work your way
up to this move and see Daniels go for the big lift, especially against a
larger adversary.

==SECTION 5: CLOSING==

In closing, I would like to thank Jason Blackhart for statistical
information and Dave Fairbairn and Lackluster Flame for moveset
clarification.
