IX. GAME MODES a. Franchise - This will probably be the place you call home for most of the time. There are several new options added since last year and several that came from the year before. Notable Changes would be: Contracts - Player contracts are more realistic as now not only do you have to worry about years and salary but also salary bonus and how you want to pay that salary, a lot to begin and a little later on, more at the end a a tad at the beginning, or straight out even. Weekly Preparations - Here you set team meetings, workouts, days off, practices and tons of other stuff. Pick a good regiment and your players will boost their ratings for the next game. Do poorly and you\'re stuck with bad players. b. First Person Football - Pretty similar to last year. Those not familiar with it, it\'s pretty basic. You play as the player, you look through his eyes and see what he sees. c. ESPN 25th Anniversary - ESPN has chose the Top 25 best moments from football history and brought them to you. Go through and complete some of the most awesome games in history. d. Practice - There are two different modes for practice. ----Basic Training will teach you how to play from basic ideas to advanced moves. ----Scrimmage will allow you to try out different plays against different defenses and vice versus. You can even try out kicking and punting. e. Situation - Here you pick every option you want to. Decide teams, score, how much time is left in the game, everything. Whether you want to be a come back kid or hold a lead this is where you do it. f. Tournament - Basically this is the playoffs. You can compete or watch the CPU run through a 4-16 team bracket. g. Online - Here you can choose to play online against other people. ESPN has revamped the online experience and now it\'s better than ever. X.Random Rumblins & Game Play Tips 1) The easiest way to get more milestones done quickly is do the menu ones first, and then you can unlock your next catalog quicker. 2) Don\'t pick the same play over and over and over again, because the CPU will catch on and adapt. 3) Keep an eye on your CAP Status, if you need to resign a player and you have little room, try making his contract make more towards the end. That\'ll free up more room now and let you worry about him later. 4) You can move players with the Roster Manager to different positions, you can also move them in game by the Substation option. That way you can play a player out of position. It\'s a lot easier to get the Primetime Milestone of 150 rushing and 100 receiving when you move your running back out to wide receiver. XI. Conclusion I hope that my FAQ could be of some assistance. As you can probably tell it\'s not entirely complete. As myself and the rest of the ESPN Football community learn more about the game I will update it. I will also soon add some more information about Milestones. I will add a section for unlockables as well.
