0. Warnings, Disclaimers, and Update Listing [top?]

Warnings:
As of now, only these sites have permission to post my guide
www.gamefaqs.com
www.supercheats.com
www.mycheats.com
You may not use it anywhere else without asking me first.
If you do, and I find out, you'll be in some serious trouble.*
If you email me, you might just be able to get this posted
somewhere else. My email is Bahamutt4evr <AT> gmail <DOT> com.

*Serious trouble may or may not include the following:
A fully powered Supernova shot,
Several poison apples,
A Drill Arm combo,
An iron fence place all the way around your house,
Several thorn trees planted on/near you,
And/or your house mysterously going into the sky.

Disclaimers:
I do not own the rights to Dark Cloud 2 or anything related to it. They
all belong to Sony and Level 5 Games. I am not anywhere near being
involved with them, soooo...
All trademarks and copyrights contained in this document are owned by
their respective trademark and copyright holders. Indeed.

However, this guide is mine. You may not have it.
 2008 to Cody Tucker(Bahamut4ever), and I hate thieves.
Oh, and this guide may or may not contain spoilers, depending on your
views.
(I personally don't think it does, but that's just me.)

Update Listing:

v. 1.0 w0oT! (^__^)
As of now, this guide is fully functional. Now, to get it accepted!

v. 1.1 Oops! (0__o)
I had a little mishap with the formatting, I guess. Oh well. I fixed
it. Sorry you had to see that...

v. 1.3 Ahahaha... (-__-')
I fixed it and made it worse. I'll fix it again, for the (hopefully)
last time. Oh, and I'm giving a little more info this time. Thank me
later. (I had it one point too small. No wonder it messed up...)

v. 1.4 ... (T__T)
.................What is this madness..? I have been cursed by the
formatting gods... I have decided that the boxes are messing me up big
time. I'm going to get rid of them.

v. 1.5 Mini-corrections (~__^)
Just a little correction this time! Plus the table of contents is still
all wonky...

v. 1.6 A little more... \,,/ (-__-) \,,/
I think the formatting on the table of contents is finally fixed.
However, the text is still a little weird, which bugs me. But I'm not
just fixing the formatting this time around! Oh no, you thought I was
gonna let you off easy, huh? Well, lucky for you, I'ma add more to the
peoples section. I know, I know, I'm awesome, aren't I?

v. 1.7 Spacing (*__*)
The horrible spacing caused by improper enters has been fixed(perhaps).
Really the only things I had to fix. It's been bugging me for a while
now.

v. 1.75 Minor things (<__<)
Not much to do right now. Been a while since I updated, huh? But, yeah,
just minor things.

1. Opening statement [opener]
Hi.
I am Bahamut4ever and I will be your Georama instructor today.
I realize that there are some good Georama guides tucked away in other
guides, but I figured that it would be much easier to have one that you
don't have to look for very hard to find, instead of to have to search
the other guides for one. Anyways, this is my first guide, so if it
shows, then I'm sorry.
Since I only have one guide at this time, feel free to email me.
My email address is Bahamutt4evr <AT> gmail <DOT> com.
(Freaking auto-spammers...)
If I don't get back to you right away, don't feel bad, I rarely check
my email.
The latest version of this guide can always be found on Gamefaqs.com,
so check if it doesn't look like I've updated in a long while.

Things I accept:
Contributions (always useful)
Georama questions (it IS a FAQ, after all)
Rants (good for a laugh)
Criticism (helpful, hurtful, doesn't matter)
Corrections on minor grammer/spelling mistakes (they bug me)
Corrections on MAJOR grammer/spelling mistakes (y'know, big spalling
erorrs)
Corrections to my calculations (I may be a bit off)
Corrections on material needs (I can't be right all the time...)
Feedback (tell me how I'm doing!)

Things I might answer:
Personal questions (depends on what's being asked)

Things I won't accept:
Chain letters (does ANYONE like these things?)
Viruses (yeah, I got enough on my hands already)
Spam (I mean, come on!)
Various other idiotic things (Obviously...)

Mmmkay, here's the format we'll be using here today.
VVV This is my special box. Everything fits(I hope). VVV

	 # material - price
 	## material - price
_______________________________________________________________________

Anyways, onto the guide!
Note: As of now, I'm a bit lazy, therefore I will not be listing the
Polyn counts. Suffice to say that Polyn should never come into play,
unless you really, REALLY stuff your Georama full of unnecessary items.
I also won't be listing the CP each item nets. However, I might, if you
really need it. But, I personally just pop stuff in there until it gets
high enough.

2. MATERIALS [geomat]
The basic building blocks of anythings. You need materials for
everything but fighting, pretty much. And even then, they help. Anyways,
this is what is available, plus the prices.
A note: I don't think you use Silver balls for anything related to the
Georama.
Another note: Thick hide, Conda doesn't sell. I'm not sure who all
sells them, but I know Morton does, so buy them from him.
Yet another note: Buy Paint from Parn. Conda doesn't sell that, either.

3. HOUSES (and people) [geohou]
Houses are the main things you have to build in order to advance the
story. They are the backbone of the Georama.
Not only do you have to build them, but then tailor them to fit whoever
needs to live there. And yes, the Church is a house, as people live
there.Oh, and contrary to what other guides may influence you to think,
the Straw house is the MOST expensive one. Don't build it unless you
have to. Sadly, you will have to.

\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

I'm guessing you want to know what people need to move into a house,
huh? Well, you're in luck! Today, I am in a generous mood, so I'll list
the people, and their needs.

Cedric - N/A

Borneo - N/A

Gordon - Needs to have a tree near his house
(140-200 Gilda)

Donny - N/A

Parn - Needs a purple roof
(300 Gilda? Depends on the roof)

Dr. Dell - N/A

Ferdinand - N/A

Gerald - Needs a house with a high CP count
(10 Pots, as far as I can tell)

Mayor Need - Needs a mailbox near his house
(30 Gilda)

Priest Bruno - Will only live in a Church
(330 Gilda)

Rufio - Will only live in a house that is 3(?) or more stories tall.

That's all the people that you can get, but some don't even need to be
placed. You don't need to place Dr. Dell, Mayor Need, Rufio, Fabio,
Olive, Julia, Mina, Corinne, Pau, or Granny Rosa.

4. HOUSE ATTACHMENTS [geoatt]
These are all of the things that HAVE to have a house to put them on.
They are not free-standing objects. They can not just sit on the ground.
Please note that objects that go on walls cannot go on an Iron House,
but an Iron House has plenty of room for roof objects, and is the only
house that can fit an Iron Shed on it(I think). Also, I'm not sure if
attachments can go on a Church. I might test that out soon.

5. House Semi-Attachments [geosat]
These are all of the items that sorta-kinda get attached to a house. As
in, you don't HAVE to have a house with them, but they're a little
useless without a house. They CAN be free-standing items if you want,
though.

7. Region-Specific Items [Reguni]
Every region in the game has a certain few items that are exclusive to
that region and are usually needed to complete it 100%. Anyways, here
are the uniques for each region:

7.1 Sindain uniques [Sinuni]
Sindain has the most unique items out of all the regions, and is the
only region that gives you something to begin with.
Note: I just remembered that you start with some grass, logs, and
rocks, but I can't remember how many, since I've already destroyed
them. Anyone care to enlighten me?
Note 2: Scratch that, I just learned that you start out with 4 grass,
4 rocks, and 3 logs. But, they're still useless.

7.2 Balance Valley uniques [BaVuni]
In direct contrast to Sindain, Balance Valley has the least amount of
unique items, coming in at a whopping total of 2.

7.3 Venniccio uniques [Venuni]
Venniccio only has 3 unique items, but of those 3, 2 of them need to be
placed at least 8 times... Unfortunatly, they're slightly pricy.

7.4 Heim Rada uniques [HeRuni]
Heim Rada is strange in that it has you placing 2 unique parts ON the
houses. I'm not sure if they will go on a Brick house (never tried it),
but they will go on an Iron house.
Note: It has been confirmed that yes, the Crane and Arm will go onto
a Brick House roof.

8. Region 100% needs [100%age]
I hear you now, "Why would I need to get any Georama to 100%? It's
expensive!" Well, I'll tell you. If you get a region finished up (all
lights lit), then you get a prize. What prize you get depends on the
region. Please note that I won't be telling you step by step how to get
to 100%, since I know people like some freeform now and then, and
hardly anybody likes being told exactly what to do. Besides, it's not
that hard to figure out. I will, however, provide you with what you
will need (not counting people's needs), and the amount of Gilda you
should have available before starting. Also, if you already have some
materials, then it will be cheaper than if you had to buy everything
you need. Oh, yes, if my calculations are way off, please tell me. I
know it won't be exactly the amount that you need, because I gave a
little room for error and CP needs. But, if it's way off, then I need
to fix it.

The Serpent Slicer looks slightly like a tomato(to me), because the
blade is red, and the hilt is green, with a little bit of green
stretching onto the blade. You'll understand when you see it.
But, it is strong, and upgrades to the 7 Branch Sword, which
is a muchas painful sword at that point(or so I've heard).

When you complete this Georama, you will get a Holy Daedalus Blade.
Apparently, it is the sword that Monica's father left for her. Kinda
sad, because at the point that you get it, whatever sword you have
should be stronger. It looks like... Well, it looks like a freaking
huge and freaking heavy sword. It's blue, but not very dark, and it
seems a bit short and fat.

9. Special: Moon Flower Palace [specMFP]
The Moon Flower Palace is different in that you have no LISTED
requirements.
Instead, you have pictures showing you where the items go. It also has
only its own special items. That's right, only specials. No outside
help whatsoever. As such, it is the least freeform Georama in the game.
Thankfully, it is the easiest to figure the cost for.

In order to completely complete this one, you will need precicely 8860
Gilda. Yes, precicely 8860 Gilda. This one is exact.
As a matter of fact, you should get most of the Gilda you need simply
hunting for the Geostones. Anyways, I guess you want to see how to set
it up, huh? Well, prepare! Prepare for Extremely Accurate ASCII!
</sarcasm>

           Extremely Accurate ASCII!

                      DOOR
               ss     mGGm  b  ss  b

           HHHHHHHHHH EXIT   pppppp

KEY
G = Road to Golbad
F = Fountain
DOOR = Moon Flower Palace Door
EXIT = Exit (duh)
r = Road
S = Starlight Stairs
s = Petal Stream
m = Moon Column
H = Hall of Sorrow
P = Palace Stairs
b = Silver Bench
p = Starlight Pond
F = Flower Bed
T = Camellia Tree

It's not perfect, but you get the picture. I'm no great shakes at
ASCII...
Oh, and you can put the Camellia Trees anywhere you can fit them.
HEY, LISTEN: It was brought to my attention that my ASCII did not
match the pictures. I checked, and it didn't. I'll provide another
version, so as not to confuse people. This is as close as I can get it.

                      DOOR
               ss     mGGm  b  ss  b

           HHHHHHHHHH mGGm   pppppp
           HHHHHHHHHH EXIT   pppppp

I guess there is a little freedom when making this one, huh? But,
you will get 100% any way you put it as long as it resembles the
pictures. Anyways, I guess that about wraps up the Georama, mirite?
Imrite, mirite? Oh yeah, when you complete this one, you get a Sun
stone and a Moon stone. The Sun stone powers up weapons with more
flame and no chill. The Moon stone powers up weapons with more chill
and no flame. Oh, and you also get a cutscene that shows how Emperor
Griffon came to be at the palace.
