This was my first FAQ before I sent in my Oogie's Revenge one, and I sent it in numerous times before I finally realized that I had to send in one that actually fit the FAQ requirments. Anyways, I edited this one to make it more Internet-suitable and I think I did a pretty good job erasing my past mistakes. I would explain what I'm going to be doing, but the Table of Contents does all that. ------------------------------------- Characters and BU charts ------------------------------------- This is basically a place to find the characters and their weapons. 1. Toan: Joins Party: At the Beginning of the game. Defense-Increaser: Fluffy Doughnut Special Skill: Opening atla in dungeons Super-Duper Weapons: Sword of Zeus, 7th heaven, Chronicle Sword What Most People Say: Toan should be your main priority until you get Ruby. What I Say: Toan should be your main priority until you get Osmond. If you Build him up: Just slap on as many attachments as you can and visit ALL the backfloors that you can. When you Re-Build Mr. Moustache�s House, He�ll offer you the Wise Owl Sword for 2,500 gilda. Sell as many things as you need to get 2,500 gilda and buy the thing. After that, break down any weapon you have into a synthsphere and slap it on there. Another (and less expensive) way to do it is to re-build Queens and fill out all the requests to get the Macho Sword from the mayor. But you can get the Wise Owl Sword faster, and there�s only one way to go, so I recommend the former. What I Say: Xiao should only be used in Limited Zones and on special Monsters (Such as Dran) If you build her up: If you get the Bandit Slingshot between when you get her and Muska Lacka, try upgrading it to +5 on your way. When you get the double impact from Zabo, slap on the sphere and you�ll be off! If you don�t get the Bandit Slingshot, well, there�s not much I can do to help you. Super-Duper Weapon: Star Breaker What Most People Say: Osmond should only be used in Limited Zones. What I Say: Osmond should be used almost exclusively in battle, once you get him. If you Build him up: While Osmond is the best attacker in the game, it will take some time to develop him. First, purchase the Jackal from the shop on Yellow Drops. Next, head back to Divine Beast Cave and start Leveling him up. This should do it. It�s the Mayor�s House. Talk to him, and he�ll give you the Cave Key and a bunch of other stuff. Head to the cave-looking door with torches next to it and enter. Before I tell you about all the stuff in Divine Beast�s Cave, There�s a couple things I need to tell you about this walkthrough. First I�ll tell you about the things you need to do to get in to the dungeon. Then I�ll tell you all the things that go on in the dungeon (not including the Boss). Then I�ll tell you about the village and what you need to do there. Then I�ll go and tell you how to defeat the boss. Finally, I�ll tell you what you need to do to go to the next level. Okay! Here�s the Divine Beast�s Cave! ____________________ Divine Beast�s Cave ____________________ Divine Beast Cave Neccessities: You need to get Dran�s Crest to move on to the next Level. It will be in one of the monsters, and the only way to get it is to defeat them. The Fairy King will explain everything else on the first level. Level B4: 3 Skeleton Soldiers will drop down from the ceiling. Just attack them. After doing so, a Master Jacket drops from the ceiling. Instead of fighting him in the normal, bloody way, you must �Duel� him. See the buttons? Once they reach the light blue line, press them in the order they appear on the screen. Voila! You�ve defeated him! Two chests drop from the ceiling. Open them, and head through the door. Level B7: This is the first of many Limited Zones. Here, you must deal with the fact that Abs are taken away every time you attack, and you can�t change weapons. If you�re thinking �yeah, I�ll just not attack!� then think again, because you need to attack to get the Dran�s Crest. To do it, just attack your enemies until you get the Dran�s Crest, then don�t attack any more. How- ever, if you plan to build up Xiao or Goro, you shouldn�t have any problem. Level B8: A man will appear and you have to duel him. After that, He�ll give you some Changing Potion and the cat you�ve seen so many times will turn into an Atla, and you�ll be able to complete �My House�! (See Section 3 for more information) Then, use you�re newly-found ally, Xiao, to jump the gap in the back of the room and open the chest. Head through the door. Level B11: This is the first Limited Zone where you must use Xiao for the entire level. Start fighting the enemies around the exit, and work your way out until you find Dran�s Crest. Just open the door and you�re out of there! _______________ Norune Village _______________ +-+-+-+-+-+ My House +-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Renee, Llama, Stray Cat, Keg, Chimney, Upstairs Storage. If you want to have 100% requests: When facing the mayor�s house in Georama Mode, the steps should be facing to the left. If you complete it: Renee will ask you to name the cat (the default is �Xiao�) and will put it on your bed. Head up there and give it the �Changing Potion� acquired on level B8 of the Divine Beast�s Cave. It will change into a human and will become your first �ally.� +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Dran�s Windmill: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Sign, Dran�s Horn, Dran�s Blades, Torch. If you want to have 100% requests: Place it so it's across from Hag's House If you complete it: The blades will spin and inside, you will find an orange box with �Horned Key� in it. This will allow you to get to the boss in Divine Beast�s Cave. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Gaffer�s Buggy: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Supplies, Sign, Light, Odd Gaffer. If you want to have 100% requests: Make sure that it�s surrounded by houses, at least 3. If you complete it: Odd Gaffer�s Buggy will be open for business! Note: if you complete Paige�s House first, Odd Gaffer will sell more products. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Paige�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Fence, Cabin, Wheels, Lamp, Pike, Paige. If you want to have 100% requests: Make sure the Pond is right in front of it. If you complete it: Paige will give you a pouch. +-+-+-+-+-+-+ Hag�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Fence, Lamp, Bench, Cabin, Jar, Hag. If you want to have 100% requests: Make sure that Dran�s Windmill is across the road from Hag�s House, and Defeat the Boss in Divine Beast�s Cave. If you complete it: Hag will offer storage for anything you don�t need. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Anlet�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Cabin, Lamp, Stairway, Llama, Anlet, Carl. If you want to have 100% requests: Make sure that Anlet�s House is as far away from Macho�s House as possible. If you complete it: Anlet will give you a fishing rod. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Claude�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Fence, Lamp, Cabin, Bench, Candy Box, Claude. If you want to have 100% requests: Make sure that Anlet�s House is as close to Claude�s House as possible. If you complete it: Claude will give you candy in the morning (which will come in handy later) and cheese in the night (which you can buy from someone later). +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Laura�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Fence, Lamp, Tricycle, Cabin, Auntie Laura, Gina If you want to have 100% requests: Make sure that Laura�s House is as far away from the Mayor�s House as possible. If you complete it: Gina will give you Dran�s Feather. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Macho�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Macho, Komacho, Barbell, Annex Room, Fence, Lamp. If you want to have 100% requests: Locate near Divine Beast�s Chamber. If you complete it: Komacho will give you a Stonebreaker attachment. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Small Windmills 1, 2, and 3: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Windmill Vanes, Ladder. ____________________ Divine Beast�s Cave ____________________ Level B15: If you completed Dran�s Windmill, you should have gotten the Horned Key. Open the door using it. Boss, Dran: Did you know that one shot from Osmond�s Star Breaker would kill this guy? It�s True! But since you don�t have Osmond yet, you�ll have to devise a more� strategic method. When you start out, Immediately switch to Xiao. When Dran stops flying around, shoot him and he�ll come down. Next, switch to Toan and give him a Stamina Potion and charge toward him with Dran�s Feather. Then, attack him with a Jump-Attack. He should groan and take to the air again. Then, switch back to Xiao (to save Toan�s stamina state, if not for anything else) and repeat until Dran�s got the sense knocked back into him. _______________ Norune Village _______________ Dran will give you a World Map. You can use this to warp anywhere, anytime! Also, press [Select] and see if you have completed 100% requests. If you have, good! If you haven�t, Do so now (see section 3). When you do, Dran will re- appear and teach you the Windmill Slash. Next, choose �Matataki Village� on your World Map and go there. _________________ Matataki Village _________________ When you first enter the village, you see a chubby boy run into a narrow opening. Follow him, and you�ll duel him. If you win, He gives you the Hunter�s Earrings and you get to name him. (Default is Goro) Next, head to a small opening in the side of the wood to see a dead tree. The Fairy King explains that this is the Treant Tree, the Tree Spirit. Only water can revive him. But there�s still hope! In the Wise Owl Forest, there is atla. Use the river atla to revive Treant (and Re-Build Matataki Village). ________________ Wise Owl Forest ________________ Wise Owl Forest Neccessities: The hard thing about this Dungeon is that you need to find 1 of 3 gate keys: the Shiny Stone, the Red Berry, and the Pointy Chestnut. The owl who opens the gate will only like one, so try each one until his mustache jumps in excitement and he opens the gate. Territory 4: This is a limited zone where you must use only Xiao. If you are trying to Build her up, this should be like heaven, but if you are trying to Build up Toan or Goro, you will have to go back to the strategy in Divine Beast�s Cave. Also, Try out each and every key as soon as you get it. Territory 9: When you first enter this level, you will have to duel two were- wolves. Then, you should go to the cave on your left with the Serpent Sword equipped and play the Odd Tone Flute (see Section 3). The Killer snake will come out, and you will have to duel him. You then will get the bone pendant. After giving it to Goro, he�ll become an ally. Use his Mallet to open the gate and go on to Territory 10. Territory 12: Yet another Limited Zone. You must use Goro the entire time. Remember: ALWAYS use the spin smash. Territory 15: In this Limited Zone, when you attack, Abs are taken away. Use Xiao to clear out the room and then Toan to open the atla. Or, if you are trying to Build up Xiao, use Toan the entire time. _________________ Matataki Village _________________ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Cacao�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Torch, Stairway, Sign, Cabin, Laundry, Cacao. If you want to have 100% requests: Put lots of trees around it. If you complete it: Cacao will play a song and give you the Odd Tone Flute. +-+-+-+-+-+-+ Treant Tree: +-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: River atla x20-40 If you complete it: Treant will give you the Serpent Sword. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Mushroom House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Torch, Sign, Annie, Second Floor, Ro, Balcony. If you want to have 100% requests: Place it on top of Earth A or B. If you complete it: Ro will give you the �Moon Grass Seed�. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Wise Owl Shop: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Torch, Entrance, Mr. Mustache, Wise Owl Entrance, Sign. If you want to have 100% requests: Place river atla all around it. If you Complete it: Mr. Mustache will give you the Wise Owl Sword... for 2,500 gilda! If you want to have 100% requests: Place it on top of Earth A or B. If you complete it: Couscous will give you Candy, Fire, Ice, or the Turtle Shell, depending on how you answer his questions: Do you want some candy? -yes: Candy -no: see below. Do you want a shiny stone? -yes: see below. -no: Turtle Shell What Color Stone? - Blue one: Ice - Red one: Fire He will then offer a Check-in Counter for you. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Bunbuku�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Sign, Stairway, Kululu, Torch, Bunbuku, Cabin. If you want to have 100% requests: Place a watermill near it. If you want to have 100% requests: Locate it next to Peanut Pond. If you complete it: Pao will give you a Fruit of Eden. +-+-+-+-+-+-+ Gob�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Torch, Sign, Gob, Tree, Bone. If you want 100% requests: Locate it next to Kye and Momo�s House. If you complete it: Gob will give you Frozen Tuna. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Kye and Momo�s House: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Stairway, Sign, Cabin, Momo, Kye, Torch. If you want 100% requests: Locate it near the Wise Owl Shop. If you complete it: Momo will give you Plant Buster. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Watermill 1, 2, and 3: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Torch, Water Wheel. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Well 1, 2, and 3: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Torch, Stairway, Roof, Bucket. ________________ Wise Owl Forest ________________ Territory 17: When you complete 100% requests in Matataki Villiage, Treant will give you Power-Up Powder and Goro the Battle Axe. It is recommended that you do so before taking on the Forest Guardian. Anyways, Plant the Moon Grass Seed (Gotten from Ro) and Sun Dew (Gotten in a chest within the previous 16 Territories) to make a pathway to the Forest Guardian appear. Boss, Forest Guardian: Have Goro drink a Stamina Potion, and charge toward him (using Dran�s Feather) and swing your Battle Axe (or other weapon). Keep swinging until dead. _________________ Brownboo Village _________________ After one or two cut-scenes, you will be in a village with a lot of people who have no interest whatsoever to talk to you. Walk around a bit and someone will drop a rock on your head. When you come to, the moon people will talk with you about stuff, and eventually, you will be sent to Queens to find a thing called a "Moon Orb". Tally Ho! _______ Queens _______ Head to the North-West Segment of the town and go up the ramp to the docks. Rando will tell you about the Shipwreck, your new dungeon. Get there via the submarine to the right of Rando�s Shop. ______________ The Shipwreck ______________ Shipwreck Necceccities: The gate key to this dungeon is the Hook. Deck 5: This is a limited zone where you must use only Xiao. If you are trying to Build her up, this should be like heaven, but if you are trying to Build up Toan or Goro, you will have to go back to the strategy in Divine Beast�s Cave. Also, if you have the Bandit Slingshot or Steve (which is the favorite weapon of many) you shouldn't have a very hard time. Deck 6: This is a Limited Zone where you get thirsty faster. All I can say is that you had better bring lots and lots of water. Deck 8: This is a Limited Zone where Abs are taken away every time you attack. Use Xiao to clear out the room and then Toan to open the atla. Or, if you are trying to Build up Xiao, use Toan the entire time. Deck 9: In this room, you have to fight a Captain, a Corcea, and a Pirate�s Chariot. Defeat them by cornering them and swinging like mad, then open up the door with Ruby (see section 3). Deck 10: This is a Limited Zone where you get thirsty faster. All I can say is that you had better bring lots and lots of water. Deck 12: This is a limited zone where you must use only Ruby. If you are trying to Build her up, this should be like heaven, but if you are trying to Build up Xiao or Goro, you�ll have to use the tactic in Divine Beast's Cave. _______ Queens _______ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ King�s Hideout: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: King, Stew, Jake, Sunshade, Lamp, Car. If you want 100% requests: put 3 or 4 road atla in front of the car. If you complete it: You will get a new character (default is Ruby) to join your party. +-+-+-+-+-+ Cathedral: +-+-+-+-+-+ You need the following atla to complete it: Hat Shaped Roof, Phil, Mark, Torch. If you want 100% requests: Locate next to the Leaning Tower and Facing the ramp leading to the Docks. Level 13: This Limited Zone forces you to use Ungaga the entire time. Even if you are focusing on him, you will probably need to use a couple bombs. If all else fails, use your tornado spin and your default weapon and stand in front of the monster, then hold down the X button with a book and change the channel, leaving Ungaga spinning his weapon for 1 damage every time. After this is said and done, Head to the Chief�s House and He�ll give you a diamond and Ungaga the Mirage. It is a good Idea to get the Mirage before taking on the King�s Curse. ____________________ Sun and Moon Temple ____________________ Level 18: Place the Sun Signet and the Moon Signet in their proper places and head into the room. Boss, King�s Curse: with Ungaga as your Character, and the Mirage equipped, blow away the King�s Curse (that foggy stuff) and Take a swig of your Stamina potion. Do a 3-hit combo and back away. When he gets his curse back, repeat. Level 18.5: Here, you get another Duel-type segment, but it will be your last one :( . Just do it, and you�ll be on the Moon Ship! Craters No.2: Yes, another limited zone where you get thirsty faster. Note, due to the randomness of the dungeons, that this may be different for each player. Craters No.4: This is a limited zone where you must use only Ruby. If you are trying to Build her up, this should be like heaven, but if you are trying to Build up anyone else, you should bring lots and lots of bombs. Craters No. 5: This is a Limited Zone where you get thirsty really fast. You better have a lot of water. Craters No. 8: A lone moon person is sprawled on the ground, and when you talk to him, you are sent back to the Moon Lab and get to name him (the default is Osmond). He will Join your party! You'd better have a lot of water. 300 Years Ago: This is a Limited Zone where you must use Xiao only. With the Double Impact, you�ll do fine. 310 Years Ago: This is a Limited Zone where you must use Goro only. Remember: ALWAYS use the Spin Smash. 322 Years Ago: This is a Limited Zone where you must use Ruby only. 340 Years Ago: This is a Limited Zone where you must use Ungaga only. Boss, Dark Genie: During Phase 1, Switch to your best attacker and look at one of his hands. Switch to the Attribute shown (red = Fire, blue = Ice etc.) and when he thrusts that hand at you, smack it with all your might. When he hides behind his wings, it means he�ll change the color of his medallion. Change your attribute. Repeat until Phase 2 starts. In Phase 2, switch to your best Long-Range attacker and let loose on his head with the Holy attribute equipped. Repeat until Phase 3. Switch to your best Short-Range attacker and run like a little fly about to be swatted with the Dran�s Feather. If you get smacked by his laser you�ll be so-ree. When he stops, smack all his little minions and he�ll open his mouth to reveal a jewel. Smack it with your Holy attribute equipped as many times as you possibly can. Repeat until dead. After this, there are some ending movies that I would hate to give away. Yay!
