1.) Introduction
===================

Howdy and welcome to my guide for Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny.
Atelier Iris 2 is a prequel to the first Atelier Iris game that was released
back in 2005. What makes Atelier Iris 2 stand out more than the first one is
that you actually control two main characters during the main portion of the
game; Felt and Viese. I really enjoyed the first Atelier Iris game, and I'm
really enjoying the second one as I play through it.

Like my previous walkthroughs, I'm only going to concentrate on the main
walkthrough first before adding in any subsections, and I'd really appreciate
it if you wouldn't send me any e-mails until the main walkthrough is fully
completed.

3.) Basics
===================

---------
BATTLES
---------

-Like in all RPGs, you'll be having to do a lot of fights throughout the
entire game. The battles in Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny is exactly
the same from the first one; turn based and it has random encounters.
However, the battle system itself is completely revamped from the first one.
Below is what a basic view of the battle field looks like.

               |
               V
          Character 1
------------------------------O             SKILL GAUGE
------------------------------O
      /\
    Enemy 1

I know this looks confusing, but it's actually quite simple when you get into
a battle for the first time. The most left thing you see is the turn order.
Character 1 represents one of your characters on the bar. Behind them is an
Orange Bar, which I'll talk about in a minute. Once the battle starts, your
characters head, as well as the enemies heads, will move along to the right
on the bar. Once a head reaches the circle, it's their turn to act.

I mentioned an Orange Bar. What this is, is that if you can manage to knock
the enemy back into the Orange portion of the bar (by using a Break attack),
you'll be able to rack up combos on the enemy, which will result in more
experience points.

The Skill Gauge portion is like a crescent shaped type of thing that has a
number on it. To fill up the Gauge, you need to use either regular Charge
attacks, or be hit by the enemy. The Skill Gauge, once full, allows you to
use a skill as long as the Skill Gauge has a number that matches the cost.
For example, if you're going to use Felt's Mana Strike, you'll need One Skill
Point in the Skill Gauge to be able to use it.

---------
ALCHEMY
---------

-Like in the first Atelier Iris game, Alchemy is used quite a lot here to make
several Mana items. Making Mana Items this time around doesn't only require
a certain amount of Elements. You also need specific alchemy items in order
to make Mana Items. Also, the review system has been revamped as well. If
you change around the ingredients, you may actually create a more powerful
Mana Item that can be used in battle, or on the field screen. Like in the
first game, experimentation will help you out in the long run.

---------
SHARE RING
---------

-Early in the game, you'll run across an item called the Share Ring, which
enables you to switch between Viese and Felt. The Share Ring allows you to
share all your Elements, Mana Items, and Money among other things to help
create new Alchemy items. Viese makes the items. Once she does, Felt is able
to Synthesize those Mana Items by only using Elements instead of Alchemy
items.

---------
ENEMY GAUGE
---------

-Whenever you're exploring a dungeon, you'll find a bar on the left side of
the screen. This represents your random encounters for the screen that you're
on. As you move, the bar will change colors. It starts off as Blue, then
turns to Green. Then it turns to Orange, and then it finally turns to Red.
Once it hits Orange or Red, you'll most likely enter a random encounter. Once
you win, the meter will deplete a little. Once the meter is completely
depleted, no more random encounters will happen on that screen. In order to
reset the Enemy Gauge, you need to use a camp circle.

---------
CAMPING
---------

-During your adventure, you'll find glowing circles on the ground. These
are camp circles. Whenever you enter a camp, your Life will be completely
restored, and the Enemy Gauge will fill back up for all the screens in the
dungeon. Camping allows you to save your game, and talk with your current
party members. You can also switch back to Viese in a camp, or switch back to
Felt with the blue book in the workshop. Needless to say, the camp circle is
very vital to the game and you should always use one whenever you get the
chance.

---------
SKILLS
---------

-After a certain part of the game, you'll be able to equip items that allow
you to learn new skills. After battles, you'll earn SP, or Skill Points that
goes torward your equipment to learn the skill you have on. To see how many
points you currently have torwards that skill, open up your Menu and choose
Status, and then press the action button over the highlighted name, and choose
Confirm Skill. The left number represents how many skill points you have,
whereas the right number represents how many Skill Points you need to learn
the skill. Once you master a skill, you can take off the piece of equipment
that had the skill and you'll still have the skill on that character, so make
sure to completely learn the skill you have equipped so you can put on another
piece of equipment so you can learn a new skill.

===================
4.) Walkthrough
===================

NOTE: There are possible spoilers in this guide, so read at your own risk.

Once you choose to start a new game, you'll start off with a cutscene with
some soldiers running, and then you'll get into your first fight. The fight
is easy. Just use a Charge Attack.

Once they're done for, another battle will start up. You'll get the option
to use a Skill now. Choose Force Blast to end the battle. Once the battle
ends, a few more scenes play out, and the scene switches to Viese becoming a
full fledged alchemist. She is then given an item called the Share Ring, but
as of right now, the purpose of it is unknown. And thus, the game begins.

O------------------------------O
Episode 1: Beginning in Eden
O------------------------------O

Once you gain control, talk to Lutanus to obtain Alchemy 101. You'll also
recieve two recipes for Mana items; Heal Herb, and Fear Bottle. Head south
and a scene will trigger. Once the scene is over, enter the first building to
find a shop. Look around if you want. Exit the shop and head north onto the
next screen. Head into the near house to find that Felt isn't here. Examine
the book and save your game. Head up the stairs now and examine the sink to
obtain 5 Pure Water.

Head back downstairs and exit the house and head south to exit the town.
Follow the path and enter the Belkhyde Gate.

==============
BELKHYDE GATE
==============

Once you enter, you'll find Felt. He'll explain how the ruins are connected
to another world. Viese will bring up that she wants to head for Marmel
Forest. She'll ask Felt to accompany her. Once you regain control, press the
Square button to extract some elements. Exit onto the world map and enter
Marmel Forest.

==============
MARMEL FOREST
==============

A tutorial will appear once you enter. Watch it if you want. Follow the path
and open the chest for a Mini Pendelook. Grab the bags that contain a Nue and
a Magi Grass. Just a little tip; the bags respawn from time to time, so make
sure to drop by every now and then.

Keep following the path and you'll find a sword in the ground. Felt will try
to pull it out, but it obviously won't budge. Head onto the next screen and
use the Elemental Extraction to get some elements from the Sprouts. Head up
and you'll find Dour's Tree. Dour then appears, giving Viese his blessings
and whatnot. Viese forms a pact with Dour, and now you have Dour, the Wood
Mana.

Exit and a small cutscene will occur, with an earthquake happening. Parts of
Eden start to disappear. After the scene, Viese, Felt, and Dour will notice
that the tree somehow disappeared. Head back to where you found the sword.
The red gems will start to glow. Examine the sword, and Felt tries to pull it
out again. This time, however, he succeeds. Exit onto the world map and
enter the Eden Temple.

==============
EDEN TEMPLE
==============

Talk with Kreuz and he'll point out that some of Eden was wiped out. Why
thank you, captain obvious. Felt pulled out the Azoth (the name of the sword)
and shows it to Kreuz. Apparently, if the sword is able to be removed, a
crisis is approaching Eden. Exit onto the world map and enter the Belkhyde
Gate.

==============
BELKHYDE GATE
==============

Upon entering, a portal will appear, and a woman also appears, telling you
about a state of emergency that has happened in Gardo. The woman then
disappears. A scene triggers and you're asked to investigate Belkhyde.
The scene switches to Viese and Dour. You'll synthesize some Heal Herbs for
Felt. A ocuple of new tutorials will occur. People who have played the first
Atelier Iris game can probably skip this if they want. Examine the cauldron
and synthesize some Heal Herbs. Make sure to save your game.

Viese heads to Belkhyde to see off Felt. She'll give the Heal Herbs to Felt,
and then gives him the Share Ring as a token of luck. Felt goes into the
portal, closing out the first episode.

O--------------------------------------O
Episode 2: Belkhyde, The Other World
O--------------------------------------O

Grab the chest on the left for a Gradin Cape. Equip it and go left to get
into a random encounter. Charge attack it twice to kill it. You'll then get
two new tutorials about the status screen and an Intro to Battles tutorial.
Go left for another tutorial. This time, it's the Mana Synthesis tutorial.
Players who have played the first Atelier Iris game can go ahead and skip this
if they want to. Make a few more Heal Herbs. Go left and extract some of
the items here. Go left and down and open the chest for an Aihie Fungo.
Follow the path and jump up onto the ledge. Head over to the right and
extract the items here. Head left to exit the map and enter the Oasis.

==============
OASIS
==============

Upon entering, Felt will collapse, and some soldiers will walk by. The leader
decides to just leave him to rot underneath the sun. Well that isn't nice.
Felt then wakes up in a tent, and a woman enters the tent. Felt then gives
her his thanks... by looking at her breasts. At least, that's what I think.
After yelling at him, save your game and attempt to leave the camp.

Felt wants to find a place that has a lot of people. The woman says she's
heading to a place like that right now, called the Tatalia Village. She
introduces herself as Noin, and joins the party. You'll then get an option to
view the Camping tutorial. Exit the camp and extract any items that you run
across. Exit to the world map (same place where you entered at) and enter
Tatalia Village.

==============
TATALIA VILLAGE
==============

Head down and enter the first tent you see for two chests. Open them to get
an Ancient Mask, and a Phoenix Quill. Exit the tent and go to the right and
open the chest for some Tatalia Cotton. Go back to the center of town and
use the camp circle if you want. Head north and talk to the female up here
and she'll introduce herself and her store. Examine to the right of her, and
press X over the barrels to obtain some items. Now head into the other tent
to find the Mayor.

Felt asks the Mayor about Eden, but he doesn't know a thing about it. Noin
then steps up and tells Felt that she'll help him talk with some more
villagers about Eden. Exit the Villge, and enter The Fork.

==============
THE FORK
==============

Head directly north, using the camp circle if you want. Exit onto the world
map and choose the Desert Ruins.

==============
DESERT RUINS
==============

Watch the scene here. Go north for a Dem Ore and then jump up and head down
this path. Go north past the split and then turn east and go north at the
dead end. Examine the barrles for 2 Pure Water. Now go south and west for
a chest containing a Niv Tiara. Head to the far west and examine the boxes
to find 2 Old Magi Grass, 3 Faux Puniballs, and 3 Spoiled Meat. Now follow
the main path until you reach a camp tile. Save your game and head onto the
next screen.

You'll find some Soldiers. Noin will step up, and will get ready to kick
their asses until Felt steps in to help. This battle is pretty easy, as it's
like a normal battle, so you shouldn't have too much trouble. Once they're
defeated, open the chest for a recipe to make the Mana item Craft. Attempt
to leave, and Noin will say she wants to see if the Imperial Army left.
Felt brings out his sword and starts talking to it. The Azoth says it's your
duty to protect Eden, and that it awakens whenever Eden is facing a crisis.
The sword says to head east, then decides to rest. Noin walks back in, saying
that the Imperial Army is gone.

Exit and you'll eventually reach a fight with two ghosts. Normal attacks
don't work, so use Mana Strike or Mana Wave with Felt, and Force Blast with
Noin. Once the battle is over, you'll get another Intro to Battles tutorial.
Head back to the entrance of the ruins, and exit onto the world map. Enter
Tatalia Village.

==============
TATALIA VILLAGE
==============

Enter the Mayor's tent and he'll tell you that Max, their strongest soldier,
was kidnapped. Noin doesn't believe it at first until the mayor says that
the Imperoal Army had a hostage, and that Max gave himself in to free the
hostages. Noin storms out, and Felt follows her, offering his help. Noin
accepts it after Felt says he still needs to repay her for saving his life.
Exit onto the world map and choose the Desert Fork.

==============
DESERT FORK
==============

Once you enter it, a sand storm will start up. Follow the path to the camp
circle, and you'll be forced to enter it. Talk with Noin, and then go examine
the book to end this episode.

O-----------------------O
Episode 3: Share Ring
O-----------------------O

You'll be in control of Viese now. Exit the house and exit onto the world map
and enter the Eden Temple.

==============
EDEN TEMPLE
==============

Try to open the door to the Library, but you'll find out that it's locked.
Talk with Kreuz and he'll say that Lutanus has the key, but she went shopping
at Noir. Exit onto the world map, and go back to Noir.

==============
NOIR
==============

Head up to the first building to trigger a scene. Latanus will give you a
Library Pass, so head back to the Eden Temple.

==============
EDEN TEMPLE
==============

Head back to the locked door and examine it to open it. Enter and examine the
shelf straight across from you to find the book you're looking for. You'll
obtain the Petroglyph Manual. Exit the Library, and head back to Noir.

==============
NOIR
==============

Head for the workshop. Viese will decipher the Ring, but realizes that she
needs the help of the Metal Mana to be able to get the Share Ring to work.
Exit Noir and head for the Great Cave.

==============
GREAT CAVE
==============

Viese can't enter at first, but Kreuz will enter the cave and will allow you
to try to make a pact with the Metal Mana. Follow the path and jump up the
ledge on the left and follow the path and extract some items here. Head back
to the main path and go right onto the next screen. Go left for some more
items to extract. Open the chest here to obtain a new recipe. One for the
Alchemist Medal. Go to the right and you'll find that little girl again.
She'll point you to the Metal Mana. So head there.

The Metal Mana will refuse to help at first, but realizes that you deciphered
the Share Ring, and decides to help. Head back to the entrance and the little
girl will say that her stop is here. Viese asks her name, and she says that
her name is Iris. Iris... now why does that sound so familiar. Head for
Noir.

==============
NOIR
==============

Head for the workshop and Zuvelk will show you how to work the Share Ring.
Once the Share Ring is activated, Felt and Viese will now be able to share
Mana Items, money, and Elements. Synthesize a Craft and Viese will start to
write a letter to Felt, which will end this episode.

O-----------------------------------O
Episode 4: Infiltrating Riesevelt
O-----------------------------------O

-The scene switches back to Felt, and Zuvelk will appear in the tent. He
tells Felt to check his items, and he'll find a letter from Viese. Read the
letter, and a tutorial about the Switch command will become available. Save
your game and exit the camp.

Head east and enter West Regenbogen.

==============
WEST REGENBOGEN
==============

After the scene, ignore the ladder and continue down the path. Take the next
ladder you see down to obtain a Super Nue. Make sure to talk to everyone, and
head east. Go down at the fork for some crates. Examine them for 4 Spoiled
Meat and 3 Magi Grass. Go east still and then enter the Back Alley.

==============
BACK ALLEY
==============

Enter the camp circle and read the new letter you'll recieve. Exit the camp
and head into the bar to the north. Talk with the bartender and she'll tell
you where Max is at. Central Park will open up now. Enter it for a small
scene that will come into play soon. From there, head to Riese Palace.

==============
RIESE PALACE
==============

Once here, a path for the Lighthouse will open up. Go there for a scene, then
exit and head to the Central Park. Talk with the kid there and he'll offer
to help you out if you'll find a flower that becomes cold when touched. Since
that's in Eden, head to the camp circle in the Back Alley and switch over to
Viese.

Head for the Library, and you'll bump into Iris again. She'll point out the
book you're looking for. Head back to the workshop and make some Wonder Grow.
Now head for Marmel Forest.

==============
MARMEL FOREST
==============

Follow the path right until you find Nymph. You'll need 1 Pure Water on you.
Viese will give the Pure Water to Nymph, who will then want Viese to make a
pact with her. Follow the path until you reach a field with a handful of
sprouts. Use the Wonder Grow on one until you find the flower. Head back to
the workshop in Noir. Switch back to Felt.

Head for Central Park and talk to the kid again. Once you give him the
flower, he'll tell you about a passage through the sewers that leads to the
Lighthouse. Exit the Park and enter the Sewers.

==============
SEWERS
==============

Follow the path for 3 Moon Stones. Head left for 2 Red Legion, and then head
down and left to find Pure Water. Go right and ride the log here and open the
chest for an Ancient Mask. Head to the intersection and go south and east to
obtain 3 Magi Grass. Head left to find a camp circle. Past the camp circle
is a pouch. Get it for 2 Wax. Head back to the intersection and go north
to find a Veek Tactics. Go south and east, then north and then west for a
chest containing 200 Cole. Head back to the Camp circle, and save your game.
Climb the ladder.

==============
LIGHTHOUSE
==============

Head north and go down the stairs. Open the chest to obtain a Globe Ball. Go
back up the stairs and head west at the fork and down the next pair of stairs.
Go right to get a couple of Faux Puniballs. Go west and follow the path and
then go south at the split. Go up the stairs and grab the chest in here that
contains a Green Mana. Go back down the stairs and go north at the split.
Save your game at the camp circle.

The next few paths are very linear, so make your way, grabbing the items as
you come along them. Use the next camp circle you come to and save your game
again. Once ready, head through to trigger a fight.

It's another fight with some more soldiers, so it should be easy. Use Felt's
Mana Wave and Noin's Force Blast to quickly eliminate them. You'll enter the
right cell and you'll find Max and two of his companions. Once you exit the
cell, enter the left cell to obtain 450 Cole. Make your way to the exit, and
Max will stop you, and will give you a Legin's Wing. You'll be able to learn
new skills now. The Skills tutorial will also become available.

Now make your way out of the lighthouse and you'll bump into Chaos. You'll
get into another fight with some more soldiers, whom are just as easy, so lay
waste to them. Use the same strategy as before, by using Mana Wave with Felt
and Force Blast with Noin. If needed, use Heal Breeze with Noin as well.

Once they fall, make your way to the exit of the sewers and enter West
Regenbogen.

==============
WEST REGENBOGEN
==============

As soon as you enter, you'll find a mysterious girl that drops down, and is
ready to fight you.

The fight isn't terribly hard, but her Air Slicer attack hits pretty hard, so
make sure to use Heal Herbs when you need to. After you defeat her, she'll
retreat. Continue down the path and Noin will call out to you. Take the
ladder down to find her and two "barrels". Try to examine the Barrels, but
all you'll get is a "Barrel?" from Felt. Talk with Noin and the barrels are
actually Max. The West Coast Highway is now open. Let's head there.

==============
WEST COAST HIGHWAY
==============

Head north for some Pure Water. At the fork, go west to find a chest that has
an Ore in it. Head back to the east and past the sign and then turn north to
find a chest with a new recipe for Nectar. Go south and cross the bridge to
obtain a Dark Mana. Go north past the chest that you found the recipe in.
Enter the Northern Cave.

==============
NORTHERN CAVE
==============

Go through the opening to the north to obtain a Rainbow Disc. Head back out
and then head north and east and then west to find some wind blowing out. Run
to the right to get the chest that contains Mell and the Monster. Head back
and take the western north path to get 3 Dem Ores. Head back to the last
screen and go east and then north, and then north again for 2 Dem Ores. Head
east to find the exit to open up Agito Cave.

Enter Agito Cave to end this Episode.

O---------------------------------O

==============
AGITO CAVE
==============

Open the chest you see to obtain a recipe for Item Wish. Talk to everyone and
then go speak with Max. It seems the ship needs a little repairing, so Felt
decides to help out to help get the ship out faster. Max asks him to get
5 Cotton Cloth.

Head to Tatalia Village and go talk to the catgirl to get some Cotton Cloth.
One problem, though. It seems that she's run out of cotton cloth, but tells
you that there might be some growing in the desert. You'll receive an item
from the catgirl. Viese might be able to make good use of this. Head to the
camp circle, and switch back to Viese.

While you're in the workshop, go ahead and cook up one Cotton Cloth, and
synthesize any more items that you've recieved along the way. Upon leaving
the workshop, Yach and Melia will bump into you, asking you for a favor. Yach
wants 10 Wonder Grow. Give them to him to recieve a recipe to make a Flay
Hammer. Melia wants you to find a rare flower for her. Head to Mamel Forest
and you'll eventually get a little notice saying the flower must be nearby.
Once you get the flower, the Aroma Mana will come out, and Viese will make a
pact with her. Bring the flower back to Melia to obtain a Yellow Mana.
Nothing else to do now, so head back to the workshop and switch to Felt.

Now it's time to head to the Great Desert. Make sure to have a healthy supply
of Wonder Grows. I'd say around 20 should suffice.

==============
GREAT DESERT
==============

Go west to trigger a fight. A huge worm will come out, but a dragon will jump
out to aid you. The fight is pretty easy, so you shouldn't have too much
trouble. You can probably get some combos in too if you use Break attack at
the right times. Once the enemy falls, the dragon will introduce himself as
Gray, and will join up with you. The paths are pretty straight foward here,
as the split paths lead to the same path, so follow them until you find a
camp circle. Use it and save your game. Just past the circle are a handful
of sprouts. Use Wonder Grow on them to obtain some Tatalia Cottons.

Head to the camp circle and switch back to Viese to synthesize some Cotton
Cloths. Switch back to Felt and head for Agito Cave. Give the Cotton Cloths
to Max and he'll send you off to find someone to help fix another portion of
the ship. Also talk with Noin to trigger a rather amusing scene. Use the
camp circle to save your game and head to the West Coast Highway. Take the
western path and enter the Holy Path.

==============
HOLY PATH
==============

Once you enter, go west and mine the ore here for 5 Moon Stones. Keep going
and mine for 3 Ice Stones, and then some Red Legiens. Head east and across
the bridge, and then head south until you reach a camp circle. Go east into
a cave and mine for 6 Dem Ores and then 4 Red Ores. Exit the cave and follow
the path for a chest containing an Aroma Talisman. Head back to the split
and head up the stairs and then head east and mine for 6 Red Legiens, 5
Moon Stones, and 5 Ice Stones. Grab the chest at the end of the path to get
960 Cole. Go back and head north to exit onto the next screen. Go across
the bridge, and enter the house. After a small scene involving Hagel touching
your sword, he'll agree to go with you, so backtrack to Agito Cove.

Talk with Hagel and you'll learn about Weapon Synthesis. A new tutorial will
open up for it. Watch it if you want. When ready, talk with Max, and that
ends this episode.

Go north to find 2 Nues. Go back down and then head east and down the steps.
Head west from there to get a Blue Mana. Go south to obtain a new item, and
then head east to exit. Enter Max's Camp.

==============
MAX'S CAMP
==============

Grab the chest near you to obtain an Ankh. Head up and follow the path as it
bends to open a new recipe. Talk to everyone as usual and go into the tent at
the northern section fo the camp. Once it's all said and done. exit the camp
and head for Onuki Cave.

==============
ONUKI CAVE
==============

Follow the path to obtain 5 Silver Legiens. At the split, go north for 8
Red Legiens, and 7 Dem Ores. Head east to obtain 5 Shadow Stones. Talk with
the person in the cave to find out there was a cave-in not too long ago, and
that you'll need to take an alternate route to reach your destination. Exit
and head for West Sessier Plain.

==============
WEST SESSIER PLAIN
==============

Go south to obtain a Crystal 101 Recipie and then use Wonder Grow on the
sprouts to get some Dry Glowgrass and Glowgrass. Go south again for a Niv
Tiara. Now head east and keep going east to obtain a Yellow Mana. Head east
to open up Sessier Forest.

==============
SESSIER FOREST
==============

Head east and then south at the split to find 670 Cole. Go back and take the
other path until you reach a four way intersection. Go North to obtain a
String. Head back and then go east and then north and then right and extract
some Poison Elements here. Head south and use the camp circle. Go east to
trigger a scene with the mysterious girl being attacked by a mushroom. Head
over to her to trigger a simple fight. You'll automatically end up back at
Max's camp. Enter the tent, and make sure to talk to everyone, including
Hagel. Our next destination is Fort Zeyung. To get there, head to the
West Sessier Plain, and take the south exit.

==============
FORT ZEYUNG
==============

Watch the scenes, and then talk to the Peddler to buy the recipe. Head back
to Max's Camp and switch to Viese to make the Cure Jar. Switch back to Felt
and head into Max's tent. Watch the following scenes, and head for the boat
in Sessier Forest to end the episode.

ALTENA FOREST
==============

Head down the path and go north at the fork. Follow the path and Gray will
eventaully leave your party at the camp circle. Head inside to save your game
and then head east to trigger a scene involving Chaos. You'll get into a
fight with Chaos which is scripted, meaning you can't win. Once you lose,
Gray comes back and Chaos runs off. Once in control, head back to the lake
and continue to the right. Take the first path for a chest containing a Totem
Shield. Head left to reach the next screen and make your way through the maze
of bushes and weeds to reach the top. Go up and open the chest to obtain a
new recipe for Lota Cake. Head right to enter the World Map. Enter Altena
Church.

==============
ALTENA CHURCH
==============

Enter the church and you'll trigger a scene with Eizlen. It appears that
Fee was sent to kill you because you wield the Azoth. However, she was
supposed to kill the owner of the Crimson Azoth, which is Chaos. Follow
Eizlen down the linear paths. Once the path splits, go left to find a Gravity
Stone, and continue down the main path. Grab the next chest along the way
that contains a Heal Jar. Keep following the path until you reach a new area.
Those of you that played Atelier Iris will most likely recognize this room.
Warp in and a scene will trigger, telling you how to save Eden. Apparently,
we need to activate all the workshops. Head back to the entrance of the
church and talk with Eizlen. Talk with one of the Priestess's to shop around.
Exit the church, and enter The Wetlands.

==============
THE WETLANDS
==============

Follow the path here and go west once the path splits. Examine the barrel
for a Pure Water, and then head south and west and open the chest to obtain a
recipe for a Basilisk Eye. Head back to the split and go north and then west
and then north past the next split to reach the workshop. Felt will warp in,
and the workshop will work again. The game will automatically switch to
Viese.

Synthesize any new items that you've obtained if you haven't done so yet.
Exit the workshop and head for the Eden Temple and go talk with Kreuz. You'll
need a Glow Lamp, but we don't have the recipe for it yet. Once you exit the
Eden Temple, you'll bump into Iris again, and she'll tag along with you now.
Head for the Scarlet Temple to find Poe beating up on the poor guard. Once
Poe runs off, follow him. Go north to get a Red Mana and then backtrack and
head east to find Poe. He'll threaten Uru to join you. Viese gets mad, and
Poe runs off crying. Uru respects your authority, and asks you to make a pact
with him.

I must say, Poe has quite the mouth on him. Make your way back to Noir. Head
into Yach's shop and buy the recipe available here. Go back to your workshop
and Synthesize a Glow Lamp. Head into the building next to Yach's shop, and
you'll automatically use the Glow Lamp. Examine the right side to find a map
of Belkhyde that shows where the workshops are. Head to the end of the hall
and examine the mural on the wall. Exit and head for the workshop. Felt's
name is popped up, and Poe runs away again.

Head to the North Grand Plains.

==============
NORTH GRAND PLAINS
==============

Follow the path here and go north across the bridge until you find a camp
circle. Go north and then east for 980 Cole. Head back and go north and then
go west once the path ends. Open the chest for a new recipe. Go east and
then north. At the fork, go left and then north and then west for a chest
containing a Blue Mana. Go east and south to trigger a scene. Seems like a
group of Punis have captured Poe, and will let him go if you can find a rare
flower. From here, go south and then east and then north to find a Foul
Water and 3 Spoiled Meats. Go back and south and open the chest for a Fresh
Glowgrass. Exit and enter the Forest of Ocean Mist.

==============
FOREST OF OCEAN MIST
==============

Follow the path and you'll find a familiar face. Talk with Noin and you'll
recieve a recipe for a Huge Flame. Head to the nearest camp circle and switch
to Viese to make a few. Switch back to Felt, and head to the North Grand
Plains, and take the west exit and enter Parnaky Cave.

==============
PARNAKY CAVE

Synthesize some Yugdore Waters if you don't have any. Head east and then
south and use a Mega Flame to get rid of the rock and get the chest containing
an Ice Brand. Head down the path and go east. Go west at the split to find
the workshop. Once you enter, you'll find out that it's broken, but Felt
tries his best to get it working again. Exit, and head north for 810 Cole.
Go back to the first screen and go west to find a couple of Punis. Go north
and bomb the rock here. Go west now and open the chest to obtain a recipe for
Magic Paper. Go east and use the camp circle. Head onto the next screen and
head up a bit to trigger a fight.

-This fight can be a pain if you let your guard down. The best thing to do is
use Charge Attacks the first couple of turns to get your skill gauge up. Once
you have a decent number, use Break until he's in the Orange area, and let
loose with your most powerful skills. You should be able to rack up a nice
combo this way, and take out a huge chunk of his health. Virum Zombie's
attacks can hit hard, so have someone ready with a Heal Jar at all times.

-----------------------------

Once he's out of the way, go up to the sprouts and use the Yugdore Waters on
them to obtain some Peariberries. Head back to the North Grand Plains and
head to where Poe is at. Give the Punis the Pearis, and they'll let him go.
Poe will give you two new recipes for Uru Core, and Nymph Core, and then
he'll join your party. The episode then ends.

Episode 10: Into the Mist

Enter the Forest of Ocean Mist.

==============
FOREST OF OCEAN MIST
==============

Follow the path until you reach a new screen with a fountain in the middle.
Those that played the first Atelier Iris game will surely recognize this
place. Head up through the opening. Go east and south at the split for a
Puniball. Head back to the split and go east for a Phoenix Quill. Continue
east across the bridge and keep going until you reach a camp circle. West of
the camp circle is a chest that has a Glowing Mana in it. Now go right and
then north for a chest to obtain a new recipe. Now take the moving platforms
in the following directions; south, east, and south to obtain a Magic Pipe.
Head to the camp circle and head east and take the platform to obtain 2 Shadow
Stones. Ride the platforms again to the east until you spot 4 more platforms.
Take the north platform and go west for a Black Mana. Head back across the
bridge and head north and then follow the path to the west to find a workshop.
Watch the scene, and leave. You'll get Tolena's Letter on your way out.

Head to the nearest camp and switch to Viese. Go talk with Yach to obtain a
new recipe. Exit Noir, and enter the Aquitto Spring.

==============
AQUITTO SPRING
==============

First off, I just want to say that I love the music in this place. It's just
so relaxing. Aquitto Spring is very linear, so grab all the treasures that
include 2 Moon Stones, 750 Cole, a Dark Mana, and a Blue Mana. Once you reach
the Mana's lair, you'll notice that the Mana isn't present. Head back to
your workshop and switch to Felt.

If you're not at the North Grand Plains, go there now and go through the
southeast exit. Watch the scene, and then the episode comes to a close.

O---------------------------------------O
Episode 11: The Blood of an Alchemist
O---------------------------------------O

Head back to Aquitto Spring and head back to where the lair of the Mana is
supposed to be. Once you enter, you'll find the Mana, but before she makes a
pact with you, she'll want you to decipher the Lithograph somewhere in Aquitto
Spring. We don't have the material that's needed, so head to the Eden Temple
and speak with Kruez.

Head to Noir and talk with Yach. Yach is looking for something, and shows you
a map of where it might be. Look familiar? Head back to the workshop, and
switch to Felt. Synthesize some Mega Flames and head for The Wetlands.

==============
THE WETLANDS
==============

Head down the path and go north at the split for a Silver Legien. Backtrack
and take the other path. Head north at the next split and then once you reach
the next split, head west, then head north and then east. Go across the
bridge and open the chest for Yugen Diary Vol. 2. Head back to the nearest
camp circle and switch to Viese.

==============
NOIR
==============

Go to Yach's store and give him the item. You'll recieve some notes that has
a recipe for the Rainbow Cloth. Head back to the workshop, and synthesize a
few Rainbow Cloths. Now head to Aquitto Spring and head for the Lithograph.
Use the Rainbow Cloth on it and head for where the Mana is. You'll obtain
Jiptus, the Poison Mana. Head back to the workshop. A few scenes unfold,
and the game goes back to Felt, ending the episode.

O--------------------------------O
Episode 12: Capital City Grand
O--------------------------------O

Head to the exit to open up Grand City.

==============
GRAND CITY
==============

Head up the stairs near the entrance, and head into the biggest house. A
scene will trigger. Once it's over, head to the right and Poe will start to
work his magic on the woman on the bridge, until she gives him a verbal
beatdown. Gray will recognize the woman as Theresa. After the scene,
continue to the right until you reach the path. Head to the lower section of
it and talk to the man standing next to the dog. He wants to find the most
beautiful woman ever, but apparently, we don't have the most beautiful woman
ever according to him.

Head back to Theresa, and she'll ask for some Goat Milk. If you don't have
any, head to the shop, and purchase some. Go back to her and Theresa will
give Noin a little make over. Head back down to the man and a scene will
trigger where Noin enter. Hey, you gotta admit, she doesn't look half bad.
After the scene, you'll get a recipe for the Key of Hermes. Immediately head
to the nearest camp tile, and switch to Viese to make one, and then use
Mana Synthesis to make the rest of them. If you need to restock on Metal
elements, head to the Metal Mana's ground. Head upstairs in the workshop and
open the chest up here for a recipe for Uru's Core. Head outside of the
workshop, and enter the building next to Yach's shop. Open the chest at the
end in here for a recipe to make a Blue Bracer. Head back to the workshop and
switch back to Felt. Head back down to the man by the dog and open the chest
containing a Zuvelk's Core. Once you're done here, exit the city and two
new places will open up. Enter the Grand Highway.

==============
GRAND HIGHWAY
==============

Get the items and elements here and head to the next screen. Open the chest
to obtain a recipe for the Comet Gem. Head for the Mist Canyon now.

==============
MIST CANYON
==============

At the split, head head and then head south at the next split. On the next
screen, head north and open the chest to obtain a Lightning Brand. Head east
and then south at the split. At the next split, go east to exit and open the
path to Claire Village. Before continuing, go back into the Mist Canyon and
head north at the split and then head west. Keep going west and then go south
at the split. Head into the cave and open the chest in here to obtain a
recipe for Diselement. Exit and head for Claire Village.

==============
CLAIRE VILLAGE
==============

Before continuing, use the camp circle and switch to Viese. Head for the Eden
Temple, but don't enter the main door. Take the right path and follow the
path on the next screen until you reach a silver door. Unlock it and follow
the path until you reach Diemia's ground. Give him a Glow Lamp and he'll let
you make a pact with him. Head back to the workshop, and switch back to Felt.

Enter the house and talk with the old lady. Everyone will split up, so let's
go find them. Once you exit the house, talk to Fee, and she'll bring up a
workshop in Nelvia. Head south to find Gray. A scene will trigger, saying
that the dragon that we're hunting is the King of Dragons, Ardgevald. During
the scene, that dragon Gray was talking about, Ardgevald, will appear, and
you'll have to do battle. You can't win this fight, so don't waste any of
your items. After the scene, exit Claire Village and a few more destinations
will open up. Since we know there's a workshop in Nelvia, let's head there.

==============
SPRING OF NELVIA
==============

This should be another place that should be familiar to those that have played
the first Atelier Iris game. Head north to reach the next screen. Go across
the bridge to find a silver chest. Open it to obtain a recipe for Silver
Armor. Head back to the main path and follow it and you'll eventually reach
a house. Enter it and use the camp circle. Talk to the man by the door.
He won't let you pass unless you give him 6 Phoenix Quills. If you don't have
6 Phoenix Quills, get into fights with enemies of the Hawk class (Falcon Hawk,
Vulture, etc) until you get 6. Once you get 6, give them to the man and he'll
let you pass. Head up to the workshop, and Felt will repair it. After that,
exit the Spring of Nelvia, and enter the Dragon's Nest.

==============
DRAGON'S NEST
==============

Talk with the old man in here. You'll find out that Gray was one of his
students. You'll then get into a fight. The first four fights are pretty
simple, and you should have no problems with them. Then the fifth fight
occurs.

-This fight is somewhat like the fight with the Virum Zombie, only a bit more
trickier. Elder Virium's bite can do some damage, but the one attack you'll
need to be aware of is Tera Flame, which hits you for nearly 100 damage, or
over 100 damage, so make sure to heal after that. If you get the opportunity
to Break the Elder Virium, use it to raise the Experience and SP total after
the fight. If you heal after Tera Flame, you'll win this fight.

-----------------------------

After the fight, you'll recieve 3 Dragon Bloods and Gray will learn a new
skill that enables him to increase damage on Dragons by 1.5. It's a passive
skill, too. You'll now get the option to fight some more battles. I highly
recommend doing all the ones you can. All of them should be do-able at this
point except for the one that has the Bookeater as the boss. The Bookeater is
a huge pain, mainly because he uses Nightmare practically every turn, which
puts your characters to sleep, so avoid his trail until late into the game.
Once you think you're ready, exit, and head for Lallzatt Cave.

==============
LALLZATT CAVE
==============

From the entrance, head up and head right and then south to obtain 2 Garden
Salt. Head back north and go east at the next intersection and then once the
path splits, head west to find a chest containing a Dragon Bone. Go south
and then west for 3 Nues. Head north to find a recipe for Uroborus Pills.
Those will make you feel reeeeeeeal good. Backtrack and then head east to
reach the next screen.

-He won't kill you off right away this time, so that's always a good sign.
Watch out for his Volcanic Breath attack which hits you for heavy damage, and
it also lowers your defense, which spells bad news. His other attacks do
mediocre damage, so make sure to stay healed at all times. A few Volcanic
Breaths with Defense Down inflicted can lead to a dead party, so stay at full
health as much as possible. Use Charge Attacks to build up your Skill Gauge,
and then unleash your most powerful attacks. If you've been Synthesizing your
weapons, you should be able to hit him pretty hard with your skills. Just
keep your health up at full and you'll come out on top eventually.

Head back to Grand City, and head into the magic shop. The shopkeeper will
be there now, and you'll be able to shop. Buy the two books to learn recipes
for Animal Cookies, and Manatini. Switch to Viese to make some Animal Cookies
as you'll need them very shortly. Switch back to Felt, and head for the
Grand Highway, and take the exit that leads to the Imperial Camp. Enter it
to find a tiny little beast scampering away. Head back to the Grand Highway
to find it napping on the ground. Try to talk to it, and then give it an
Animal Cookie. It'll then speak the human language. Well isn't that helpful.
Now take the exit that leads to the Dark Forest.

==============
DARK FOREST
==============

Go directly south to find a chest that has the recipe for Dark Water in it.
Now head south and east from the chest to reach the next screen. Jump up the
ledges and grab the Yellow Mana here. Keep going to exit and then enter the
Hidden Village.

==============
HIDDEN VILLAGE

Those of you that have played the first Atelier Iris game will also recognize
this place. And to top it off, the outer layout is exactly the same from the
first game. Enter the first hole and use an Animal Cookie. Shop here if you
want to, and then exit and jump and enter the second hole. Use an Animal
Cookie and talk with the Chief. Fee will think out a plan with the beasts,
and she'll ask you to meet her by the entrance. Exit the hole and attempt to
leave, and Fee will come with all the beasts. Head for the Imperial Camp.

-This fight can be pretty difficult because of one thing. Galahad will use
a timed skill that will heal him for 500 Life, and it also raises his Attack,
Defense, Speed, and Magic. Felt should have Raging Strike by now, so use it
to neglect the heals that Galahad gets every so often. Galahad's attacks
aren't necessarily threatning, but because of his attack that can heal and
buff him, he won't fall that easily. As long as you can do over 500 damage
per turn, which you should easily do, then you'll win, but make sure to keep
an eye on your Hit Points.

After Galahad falls, the soldiers will run off in fear and the party will also
retreat.

Episode 14: For He Who Has Gone Off To Fight
O----------------------------------------------O

The game will switch to Viese. Head for the Eden Temple and talk with Kruez.
He'll unlock the inner depths of the Library for you. Open the chest at the
bottom to find your newest Mana, Faustus. I like Faustus, because one, his
reason for being in the chest was so cute. And two, it has the name Faust in
it, which is also the name of a character in Guilty Gear X2, in which I adore.

Climb up the ladder to reach the second floor and examine around. Climb the
next ladder and examine the shelves. You'll eventually find a recipe for the
Grappling Hook. Head to the workshop and Viese will study the book she got.
You'll then get another recipe for the Viese Charm. Use the pot to Synthesize
a Grappling Hook, and then use Elements to make more. You should be able to
make plenty if you have a sufficent amount of the right elements. Now that we
have the Grappling Hook, let's go get us some treasure that we couldn't reach
before.

Head to Marmel Forest, and follow the path. Use the Grappling Hook to find a
chest containing the recipe for a Gravity Crystal. While you're here, also
use a Rainbow Cloth on the Lithograph. Head for the Scarlet Temple and read
the Lithograph in here. Now head for Weathervane Hill.

Grappling Hook to find some Hexi Glass. Exit and head back to your workshop.

Make sure that you've been learning new skills for all your characters. Now
would be a good time to stick the Viese Charm on Felt. The Viese Charm will
sometimes allow Felt to strike twice in one attack in battle.

Before continuing, let's get some more treasures that we couldn't get before.
Head to the Desert in the Tatalia Region, and open the silver chest here.
Head to the Holy Path and use the Grappling Hook to obtain a recipe for the
Amanita Needle on the west side. On the east side, use a Grappling Hook there
to find a chest that has an Ice Brand in it. Head for the North Grand Plains
and explore the northeast section to find a chest that has the Silwest Core in
it. Now head to the Forest of Ocean Mist and follow the path until you can
use your Grappling Hook. Use it and open the chest to find a recipe for the
Sages Father Pen. Head onto the next screen now and read the Lithograph here.
Now exit the Forest of Ocean Mist, and head for the Hidden Village. Talk with
the Chief. Exit the Village and Dark Forest 2 will appear on the map.

==============
DARK FOREST 2
==============

Once you enter, go west and then south at the bridge. Use the Grappling Hook
here and open the chest for a recipe for Refuel. Go back to the bridge and
go across it to find Mitsue, the catgirl you met in Tatalia Village. Poe will
try to work his charms, and well... it seems that it actually worked for once.
Oh Poe, you have no idea what you're getting into. Mitsue says there's a
workshop by her village, but there's a huge boulder blocking the path. Seems
like a Mega Flame won't take care of it. After the scene, head north of
Mitsue to find a Dark Mana. Head north to exit. Enter the South Grand
Plain.

==============
SOUTH GRAND PLAIN

Go south to find a secret path that leads to a chest containing an Angel
Feather. Head east to find a camp circle, as well as a Yellow Mana. Follow
the path and then head south. Examine the barrel for some Goat Milk. Go west

find a silver chest containing a recipe for the Demon Ring. Head back to the
previous screen and go west down the path. Get rid of the boxes here to find

Grand Plain and head east, and go north at the 4 way intersection. Continue
north to exit and Alha Village will become available.

Explore around the village. When you come across some ledges, jump up them
and open the chest to recieve a recipe for the Heal Bulb. Go back down and
head into the nearest house. Talk to the Bomb Artist's Daughter. She says
that he's not home and to come back later. Well that just figures. We came
all the way out here to see him. How rude. Exit and watch the scene. I'd
recommend switching to Viese now and making some of the items you've been
collecting. When ready, enter South Lake Midgard.

==============

Well, it's time to repay the favor. Chaos isn't really all that difficult,
but if you neglect to heal, you may wind up dead, so keep an eye on your
Health. All of Chaos's attacks shouldn't prove to be fatal, but stay on
guard nonetheless.

the opportunity, Break him and use your strongest skills to rack up the

Once he's defeated, Fee will learn Ein Zecksclaw. Head back to the entrance
and exit. Head to Zwital Village. Watch the scene, and head to the Dark
Spring.

==============
DARK SPRING
==============

What'd I tell you Poe. You had no idea what you were getting yourself into.

Your mission is to hunt the Pigeon Blood that will make Poe's love true. Felt
will ask to tag along, since the Groom is too short and looks like a kid.
Once you etner, use Flay Hammers on the rocks on the west side and then head
east. Head north and open the chest here to obtain a recipe for Faustus Core.

You'll learn why Plua won't make a pact. Head back to the Moon Tower, and
go talk with Plua again. Plua will then make a pact. Head back to Noir.

==============
NOIR
==============

Head back to your workshop. You'll find Iris. Viese points out that her face
is all red. Seems like Iris came down with a fever while we were gone. Viese
gets Kruez. Kruez has no idea what it is, but he says that maybe an Elixer
will cure Iris, but we don't have a recipe for that. Luckily, Kruez points
out that there's a recipe for it somewhere in the Library. Time to head for
Eden Temple.

Head for the inner depths of the library and climb down the ladder and examine
the shelves to find a recipe for an Elixer. Examine the shelve on the left
that was next to the Elixer to find another recipe for the Ruby Prism. Head
back to Noir and head for your workshop. Viese will realize that she can't
make it, as she doesn't have all the ingredients, and that she hasn't made a
pact with Aion, the Life Mana yet. Head to Melona's Shop and talk with both
Melona and Coco to get a few hints.

Exit the shop and enter the building next to Yach's store. Viese will head

if it targets the same person over and over. One move he has heavily damages
your party, and can inflict some nasty status effects on you, so have Noin
ready with Healing Light to get rid of them. Other than that one attack,
he's not that much of a threat, so get your Skill Gauge up, and Break him
once you get the chance and use your best skills to rack up the combos.

-----------------------------

Theodore, like the coward he is, runs off. Chase after him and you'll
eventually bump into Galahad, whom Theodore tries to hide behind until Galahad

right. Someone will tell you to go to Riesevelt. Head to the Desert Fork.

Follow the same path to West Regenbogen and go across the bridge. Go to the
Back Alley and talk with the bartender. Go to the shop on the right and
buy the recipe for the Magnetic Crystal. Head for Riese Palace and make your
way to the Courtyard. You'll bump into Fee. She'll want you to help her
escape partially nude. Try to exit, and you'll run into Gray. After Viese
introduces herself, Fee and Gray will be surprised, and then join up with you.

Head for the West Coast Highway, and go east and use a Rainbow Cloth on the
Lithograph. Head into the Northern Cave and make your way to Agito Cove.
You'll find Max there. Use a Mell Orb to heal him, and then talk to Max to
board his ship.

Head for Max's Camp and Noin will join up. Go to Onuki Cave and head
northeast and use a Tera Flame. You'll bump into Tolena. Keep going to find
a recipe for Silver Acid. Exit to the east and enter Altena Church.

Use a Mell Orb on Mother Eizlen and head for where the Gardo is. You'll run
into Felt. Viese tries to use a Mell Orb on him, but it fails. Head for
Max's Camp. Viese says she can make a stronger Mell Orb, but she needs some
Stalactites.  Head for the Wetlands.

Go to the next screen and follow the path to find Poe. He'll run off crying
and some Stalactites will fall. Go to each one of them and use a Flay Hammer
on them to obtain some Ancient Ores. Head back and synthesize some Mell Orbs,
but use Ancient Ores instead of Shadow Stones. Head to Altena Church and use
a Destone Orb on Felt.

Head to Noir, and then back to the Eden Temple. Watch the scenes, and you'll

the door here by using a Megido Key. Examine all the shelves and you'll learn
about Palaxius and you'll obtain a recipe for a Reptile Egg.

Let's go get the Dragon Tongue first. Head for Lallzatt Cave.

Head to where you fought Ardgevald. You'll have to fight it again. It's the

able to lower your Fire Resistance as well as lower your Defense, so you'll

Gray, Dragon Ruin will help greatly in dealing with Ardgevald. Heal yourself

Break him when you get the chance, and use your best skills that you currently

Ardgevald goes down for the count, and you get the Dragon Tongue. You'll be
back at Riese Palace. You should have the ingredients to make the Reptile
Egg now, so make it. Head for Claire Village.

Head to the right and unlock the door on the right with a Megido Key and buy
the recipe for a Globe. Exit the village now. Head to Sessier Forest.

Head to the east and open the Megido Chest here to obtain a recipe for a Moon

blueprints for Yuveria. Now exit here and head for Altena Church.

Go to the Gardo and go up to Yuveria. Viese asks you to leave, because you're

You'll be at Riese Palace now.

Head for Alha Village and open the locked door here to find another workshop.
Go talk to the Bomb Artist, and he'll mention his grandmother. She's all the

here to learn some facts about Chaos. Try to leave, and Tolena will stop you
to give you an Aroma Material. Head for South Lake Midgard now.

Go east to get a recipe for Cueparts. Now head to the Onuki Cave and unlock

Claire Village side, and head northeast and destroy the boulders here. Open

off the Divine Guard. You shouldn't have too much trouble.

-----------------------------

Once they're defeated, use the teleporter to warp. Head south and you'll run
into a Lithograph. If you've read all the Lithographs, you'll recieve a new
recipe. If not, you won't be able to get near it. If you want to read the
Lithograph, here are the locations of all the other Lithographs:

Marmel Forest
Great Cave
Great Desert
Scarlet Temple
Aquitto Spring (Storybased)
Forest of Ocean Mist
West Coast Highway
Weathervane Hill
Crystal Monument
Moon Tower
Eden Temple (Diema's Section)
South Lake Midgard
Sealed Ruin

Once you read the Lithographs there, you'll obtain a recipe for a Cure Crystal
which is the most powerful item in the game. It heals your ailments, and
cures your entire party for 999 HP.

Head west from the Lithograph for a Green Mana. Go east now and follow the
path to find an Aroma Material. Go back west and follow the path up and go
north once you get the chance to. Save your game up here and synthesize any
kind of healing items you need. You'll need a lot of them. Also have some
Power Shields on hand. Go north to find Palaxius and Iris. And so, the final
battle begins.

-Talk about a tough final boss. Make sure to start off by Breaking him until
he's about to get his turn. Before he does, make sure to use a Power Shield.
Palaxius's attacks are brutal, and he leaves no room for error. He has
attacks that will hit your entire party for heavy damage. He has another
attack that lowers all of your stats, and another attack that attacks your
party and leaves nasty ailments on your party. He also has an attack that
hits one character several times for heavy damage. Needless to say, you're
going to be doing a lot of healing. You'll need all the healing items you can
get. If you have Cure Crystals, make sure to use those in an emergency. If
anyone dies, make sure to revive them right away. You want your main party
to be alive no matter what. Work up your skill gauge, and if you can Break
him to the point of where you can combo him, then by all means, don't let that
chance pass you by. After you do enough damage, Palaxius will use a timed
attack which will stick around for nearly 6 turns. This can be bad if he
attacks, and then that attack comes right after. Just keep using Power
Shields and use any healing items you have. Keep healing after his brutal
onslaught, while attacking with your most powerful skills of your own (Final
Edge is a good choice, as is the Noin Combo) and you'll come out on top
eventually.

-----------------------------

Now sit back and watch the following scenes, which lead to the credits. I
really like the music that plays in the credits.

Congratulations! You've beaten Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny. Once
you save your bonus data, some new trials in the Dragon's Den will open up.
Good luck with those. You'll need it.

5.) Bosses
===================

-----------------------------

O--------------O
Virum Zombie
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
    4300
O--------------O

-This fight can be a pain if you let your guard down. The best thing to do is
use Charge Attacks the first couple of turns to get your skill gauge up. Once
you have a decent number, use Break until he's in the Orange area, and let
loose with your most powerful skills. You should be able to rack up a nice
combo this way, and take out a huge chunk of his health. Virum Zombie's
attacks can hit hard, so have someone ready with a Heal Jar at all times.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
Elder Virium
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
    3600
O--------------O

-This fight is somewhat like the fight with the Virum Zombie, only a bit more
trickier. Elder Virium's bite can do some damage, but the one attack you'll
need to be aware of is Tera Flame, which hits you for nearly 100 damage, or
over 100 damage, so make sure to heal after that. If you get the opportunity
to Break the Elder Virium, use it to raise the Experience and SP total after
the fight. If you heal after Tera Flame, you'll win this fight.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
  Ardgevald
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
   12,000
O--------------O

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
   Galahad
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
    7500
O--------------O

-This fight can be pretty difficult because of one thing. Galahad will use
a timed skill that will heal him for 500 Life, and it also raises his Attack,
Defense, Speed, and Magic. Felt should have Raging Strike by now, so use it
to neglect the heals that Galahad gets every so often. Galahad's attacks
aren't necessarily threatning, but because of his attack that can heal and
buff him, he won't fall that easily. As long as you can do over 500 damage
per turn, which you should easily do, then you'll win, but make sure to keep
an eye on your Hit Points.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
    Chaos
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
    5000
O--------------O

-Remember the last time you fought Chaos, and he ripped you apart with ease?
Well, it's time to repay the favor. Chaos isn't really all that difficult,
but if you neglect to heal, you may wind up dead, so keep an eye on your
Health. All of Chaos's attacks shouldn't prove to be fatal, but stay on
guard nonetheless.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O------------------------O
Slaith's Reincarnation
O------------------------O
      Hit Points
O------------------------O
        32000
O------------------------O

-This guy hits hard, and summons enemies to help him out. Use attacks like
Raging Wave to take out the Guardians and to hurt the Slaith enemy. Slaith's
Reincarnation's attacks do a lot of damage, so make sure to have a Refuel on
standby. Use the first few turns to build up your Skill Gauge. Once you get
the opportunity, Break him and use your strongest skills to rack up the
combos. Just make sure to keep your health up, and pound him with your
strongest skills and you'll come out on top eventually.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
   Galahad
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
   12,000
O--------------O

-This fight is nearly identical from the last time, only Galahad is a bit
stronger. He has the same arsenal of attacks, so you know what to expect.
Just beat him down the same way you did before.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
Quetzalcoatl
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
   20,000
O--------------O

-Players of the first Atelier Iris game, rejoice. Duke of the Stratosphere
plays for this boss fight as it did in the first Atelier Iris game against the
same opponent. Quetzalcoatl isn't all that hard, but Ein Zecksclaw can hurt
if it targets the same person over and over.

-----------------------------

O--------------O
    Chaos
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
    5000
O--------------O

-Chaos hasn't changed all that much, so he still has some nasty attacks.
Thankfully, they aren't all that powerful. This is pretty much a slugfest,
so just keep wailing on him while using a Heal Bulb from time to time and
Chaos should fall without too much trouble.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
  Ardgevald
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
   30,000
O--------------O

-Ardgevald is a bigger pain this time around. Ardgevald this time around is
able to lower your Fire Resistance as well as lower your Defense, so you'll
want someone ready with a Refuel or Heal Bulb at all times. If you're using
Gray, Dragon Ruin will help greatly in dealing with Ardgevald. Heal yourself
after every few turns, unless they unleashes a barrage of strong fire spells.
Break him when you get the chance, and use your best skills that you currently
have. Just keep your health up and keep pounding on him and you'll win.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
Evil Servant
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
    6666
O--------------O

-There's three of these guys. If you have a Divine or Power Shield, use it,
as their attacks hurt pretty badly. Use a Refuel if you need to, or a Heal
Bulb if needed. Work your skill gauge up and use skills that target all three
of the Evil Servants at the same time. If Noin has Adrenaline, it will help
greatly in this battle. Just keep your health up to near full as much as you
can and you'll come out on top eventually.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
  Clockwerk
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
    9000
O--------------O

-Clockwerk looks like Quetzalcoatl, but he's actually much weaker, and easier,
mainly because he doesn't have that attack that devastates your entire party.
Just lay waste to him. You shouldn't have too much trouble.

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

O--------------O
Divine Guard
O--------------O

O--------------O
Divine Judge
O--------------O
Hit Points
O--------------O
   28,000
O--------------O

-This fight isn't all that hard. If your levels are in the high 30's, the
Divine Guard's attacks shouldn't do that much damage, and all the Divine Judge
does is use Diselement. Take care of the Divine Judge first, and then finish
off the Divine Guard. You shouldn't have too much trouble.
