What does sticky ridicule mean on swb2 and why does it turn off when you play elite

'Sticky reticule' just means aim assist is on, when you shoot someone your aiming reticule will follow the person that was shot. It turns off in elite mode because elite is for extreme players, and aim assist is for people that have a hard time aiming on their own.

This is not correct my friend. Auto aim is what snaps your reticule onto enemies you aim towards. Sticky reticule does nothing that I can notice. Interestingly, not a whole lot of answers about this from googling a good 30 min. Would love to know what sticky reticule does… or perhaps intended to do.
