How do I beat the Three headed dog in Kingdom of Heart 1 iv gotten so far..

Hes got like 500 hp so I would bring lots of potions and make sure to have lots of magic.

To beat Cerberus in the Collisium.You must concentrate in his attacks.I was on level 15 when I beat .You should be on that level too.When the battle starts, run the opposite way(away from him) and wait till he shakes and starts barking.Call forth Donald And Goofy to attack the heads.When their HP is low.call them back.If the lose all HP,dont worry theywill come back to life in 1 minute.Attack as many times as you can because after this he will attack harder. When he stands on his hinds legs, run and jimp.This is the signal that he is about to stomp the ground and send tremendous shock waves.After that he will spit out Fire Balls,and Dark Holes from beneath your feet.Dodge the attacks by using Dodge Roll,which you got at the Traverse Town when you met Goofy and Donald.After about 15 seconds, he will stop and shake and start biting. Attack and watch out once and a while and you will surley beat the beast in no time.Make sure you have the proper equipment to do so.Poitions, Cure, (Deep Jungle is where it is located) and the JungleKey which is found in Deep Jungle also.Repeat the stratrgy about 3 times and you will be victorios.If you have any questions ,tell me .Thank You.

First you have to dodge his attacks.
Then he try's to bite you.
If he bites, strike him fast and use dodge roll to escape so he can't bite you again.
If he bites no more, climb on his back. You're safe there.
Then he will try to bite you again. Go off his back and do the same as first.
Keep do that strategy.

First of all, you don't need to beat Cerberus to beat the whole game, but if you do want to, just keep dodge-rolling all of his attacks. If you time it right, you can hit back Cererus' big fireball attack at him to do damage or you can just attack him straight up. Either way works.

Cerberus is a tough opponent this early in the game, you don't have enough hp to attack him head on, so don't try to!

When he stands still and is not shooting balls of energy or black bursts from the ground, stand to the side of his heads, just out of range of the bite attack.

The three heads will start biting at thin air (or at Donald and Goofy, foolishly attacking him from the front). Lock on to the closest head. When that head bites, you have a few seconds to jump, attack, and dodge roll back out of range before the next bite.

He's hard to hit when he's walking around, and you'll take too much damage trying to hit him while he's shooting stuff at you. Be patient and careful, waiting to attack between bites, and you can beat him.

If that still doesn't work, go to Wonderland and level up a bit, then swing by Traverse Town and snag more defensive accessories and potions.
