Question for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

I read that to get the shield on the forbidden forest thats up on a platform with a broken tree or vine or some plant thats connected to it is to get the charm from the herbology level.

BUT HOW DO I UNLOCK THE HERBOLOGY LEVEL IN THE FIRST PLACE??? I 've been stuck here for so long. PLEASE REPLY A.S.A.P.

HOPE THIS HELPS:

Try redoing the 1st task with the dragons,
If you had BRONZE then go for SILVER (u get another 2 sheilds) or GOLD (u get another 3 sheilds).

If you had SILVER then do the same with BRONZE and GOLD
If you had GOLD than do yhe same with BRONZE and SILVER

Go to the Prefects Bathroom and get the egg then go on the same level again and you will start off in a different place, go up and turn right (->) and go along a path that was not there before when you get across it walk around abit and there will be loads of shields there, (HINT: the easiest 1 is if you go down the first set of stairs and move the box around alot).
