Well 1st you need to also buy the psp media manager like at best buy or somewhere like that, or over the internet.
Right, once the PC has recognized the PSP, make a folder within PSP called MUSIC all in captals, then drag and drop your songs into that folder then they should be their.
Models psp-1003,1004 and 1008 can't download anything so unless you have the white psp you wasted your money
By looking at your question I'm guessing you are american ($) I am from england and I don't know if you have it over there but theres a thing called PSP Action Replay MAX and you can download cheat saves, music, videos and pictures to your PSP it is really good trust me! .
Read the manual of your PSP. There you will find all the help you need.
