It is because ea did not want to make it easy to win lots of games/tournaments but you can just make custom players and max out their stats

It depends on what type of console it is..I only know for Ps2....well in the main menu you can see an option that says my fifa 11 or anyway one of all those options once you click on it offers you many choices one of them is.....Edit Player I've done it couple of times so I hope it works!!

but i tried that and i could edit just a couple of players! it won't let me edit anymore.If you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to check.
