Unlock Bonus Players

At the 'Create-A-Player' screen enter the following names without the quotes to unlock the corresponding 'Bonus Player'.

Unlock Tom Barrasso:

Enter the password 'Tom Barrasso'.

Unlock Andrew Raycroft:

Enter the password 'Andrew Raycroft'.


All Star teams

Play through a season and finish the all-star game. After this, save the game and you'll have two all star teams to select from.


Fighting hints

If you get into a fight, the moves are as follows:

High punch - Square

Low punch - X

Uppercut - Square + X (this is the most effective move)

Good Outcome:

In a fight, you might want to not throw any punches and lose the fight.

Because if you lose then your opponent will get a 5 minute major for fighting

And you will get a 2 minute penalty for roughing.


No Coach

When a player gets injured, wait for the screen to show the coach walking the player to the dress room.

Then press start and then replay.

Get out of replay mode and you will see the player walking by him self!

An easy way to get a completed pass is go away from the


other recievers so it is you and the defender. When the QB hikes the ball


go forward and stiff arm the defender (square) and 99.9% of the time


you will be wide open. The other .1% of the time you will be covered by


more than one defender is in 4th quarter and a very close game.
