For an easy sack on the quarterback choose the field goal block defense on any down but 4th and you will come at the quarterback from all directions but the bad thing about this is if that the quarter back gets off a pass the reciever will most likely get a touchdown wich is why it gives this play a 70% chance of success

How do you signal a fair catch in madden 2005 on playstation 2

In order to call a fair catch, you must turn to the kick returner and then click the Triangle Button.

Who is the best team.

Well My best team pearsonally is the patriots, but it doesnt madder what the best team is it's how you play them.

Can I turn off the salary cap in franchise mode before a season? If so how?

When you go into you franchise (this is when you're first sitting it up) set it to no salery cap. Im not sure about this one but you may be able to do it like this to load up you're franchise and go to settings and then see if you can change it there.

How do you get a fumble?

If the back has not called for a fair catch (off a punt) or line the person up with the ball square.

Then use the hit stick (Right analouge stick)in a direction.

But beware if you mis-time the tackle or the player jukes you will be left one the ground like an idiot.

Alternativly use the black button this will try to strip the ball from the player.
