GTA San Andreas is by far one of the best games I have ever played, and thats coming from someone who has had nearly every single console that has been around in the last 5 years. The beginning missions are all pretty easy, for someone who's played any of the other GTA games.

You basically just have to try and get your fallen apart gang back together and make them as big as they used to be. Most of this is relatively easy. I only failed 5 times in the entire of the first island and one of them was because I was talking to my brother and drove of the edge of a cliff. However there are many incredibly good points about the game that make it so much more realistic than the previous games without making it boring.

The only thing that annoyed me about it was that you can't use the ammu-nation until your nearly done on the island. I also didnt like the way that you lose control of the whole map and can't even get back to your house without getting shot. Besides the bad points the game does have hundreds of good points;

*you can visit the gym to exercise

*you advance in skills such as machine gun skills so you can increase your accuracy, driving skills and muscle

*you can take gang members around with you (until they disappear)

*you have access to all three islands, however visiting ones you haven't unlocked brings you a nasty for star * * * * wanted level.

* there are tons more vehicles such as combine harvesters, GTs (Ford GTs), BMXs as well as many of the classics like banshees, infernus', cheetahs etc.

* eventually you can dual weild weapons to deal double the damage as usual.

And yes for those sad acts who can't complete the game on their own there are cheats. The not wanted level and wanted level cheats are the same as the Vice City cheats and I think the weapon cheats are the same as well but I haven't been bothered to find out.

Over all I think the game is incredible, and after only an hours play I was hooked.
