Backyard Basketball PlayStation 2 Cheats and Tips

Make a team that has all created players then make them all even out, to be a good basketball team.

When the CPU has a power-up during game play, select "Time Out" when you have the ball. The CPU's power-up will now be gone.

Continuous power-ups:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Circle(4), Square(4).

Bulls-eye shooting:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Square(2), Circle, Square(2), Circle, Square, Circle.

Huge heads:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Square(2), Circle, Square(3), Circle, Square.

Speedy kids:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Square, Circle, Square(2), Circle, Square(2), Circle.

Chubby kids:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Circle, Square(3), Circle, Square(3).

Micro kids:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Square, Circle, Square(2), Circle(2), Square(2).

Wire frame:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Circle, Square, Circle, Square, Circle(2), Square, Circle.

Beach ball:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Square(4), Circle(4).

Slo-Mo ball:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Square(2), Circle(2), Square(2), Circle(2).

Weak ball gravity:

At the GOODIES prompt, push Square, Circle, Square, Circle, Square, Circle, Square, Circle.

Every time you advance past a round in the playoffs, the court for that round will be unlocked in single game and practice modes. Win the championship to unlock the championship court and another secret court.

Play as Allen Iverson

At the team select page, go to the custom player and enter your name as "ALLEN IVERSON". Select "Done" twice and he will appear.

Play as Barry Dejay

At the team select page, go to the custom player and enter your name as "BARRY DEJAY". Select "Done" twice and he will appear.

Play as Kobe Bryant

At the team select page, go to the custom player and enter your name as "KOBE". Select "Done" twice and he will appear.

Play as Michael Jordan

At the team select page, go to the custom player and enter your name as "MJ". Select "Done" twice and he will appear.

Play as Shaquille O'Neal

At the team select page, go to the custom player and enter your name as "SHAQ". Select "Done" twice and he will appear.

Play as Thor Herring

At the team select page, go to the custom player and enter your name as "LEMON BOY". Select "Done" twice and he will appear.

Play as Vince Carter
