Test Drive: Off Road was an over-looked game for the PlayStation. I don't think
it did very good sales either. But anyway, I composed this FAQ for the person
who still plays this game. So enjoy.

As you start playing Test Drive: Off Road you first off by making it to the
title screen.

_|TITLE SCREEN_|
_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|
The Title Screen has several options for you to choose from so here is a list
that tells you what each option does. The arrows next the name of the option
are the different screen that come next. So for Practice Race, after you click
on that, you choose your car then you choose your track.
PRACTICE RACE-------->choose car-------->choose track
This is a simple race that you can choose to get the feel or memorize the
tracks of your choice. Good choice for beginners before competing in cups and
the leagues.
MIXED LEAGUE-------->choose cup------------------->choose car

|-Dirt Racer Cup
|-Power Challenge Cup
|-Elite Cup
The Mixed League are tournaments on which you can choose any car and race them
through the tracks.
CLASS LEGUE-------->choose league

|-Land Rover
|-Chevrolet
The Class League doesn't let you choose the car you want. All the racers will
be in the same car to make the league more fair. So it comes down to raw skill
to win these races.
1 PLAYER/2 PLAYER
Click on this to change between one or two players.
OPTIONS
Opening the options menu brings up a list of things you can change to make the
racing easier of harder.
+Hall of Fame
Shows the people who have the best lap times for each of the tracks
+Sound FX
|-Speech Level: +/-
|-SFX Level: +/-
|-CD Level: +/-
|-CD Track: auto, random, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, off
=Using the bar on the Speech, SFX and CD Level, you can make them louder or
quieter by moving the highlighted section closer to the + and -.
=The CD Track can be changed to choose which song you wish to listen to. Auto,
leaves the song on the original song it was on. Random, picks any song and Off
turns the music off altogether.
+Driver 1 Setup
|-Enter Name: PLAYER 1
|-Anti Skid: on/off
|-Power Steering: on/off
|-Controller
|-Maps on/off
|-Stats on/off
=Entering a name for your driver adds that little bit extra to the game. For
which name you place in, that name will be recorded if you beat a lap record.
=Turning anti skid on will stop you from flying into walls, this is good for
beginners to have this on.
=Power Steering allows you to turn easier, this is also good for beginners.
=Control brings up a second menu in which you can change the buttons around
on you controller. There are 5 different types. I will explain these later.
=Maps shows the map on the screen when driving on a track, it's always good to
keep this on.
=Stats are the other things that show on screen when racing. Turning this off
will stop showing you position, you laps and you current time off the screen.
+DRIVER 2 SETUP
=See Driver 1 setup.
+FRICTION on/off
=Having the Friction on gives the tires better gripping to the road, this is
very good for snow tracks.
+DIFFICULTY easy/medium/hard
=Changing this makes the computer opponents easier or harder to overcome.
+DAMAGE on/off
=You can dent and twist your car in Test Drive: Off Road, so changing this will
allow to see dents or not able to see them.
+PLAYER NAMES on/off
=This brings up a caption above the cars to see what there names are on the
track, good for multiplayer to see where you friend is.
LOAD/SAVE
Allows you to save you data to your memory card or to load data from a memory
card.

depending on what you type depends on how many tracks you will
