I had reviewed this FAQ and checked all the words and grammar
mistakes. I'll be still waiting for some suggestions for the hints
& tips section (if you know any that are not shown here yet) and if
you're willing to contribute it to this FAQ, please do so. Any
contribution is my honor to receive it and your name will be put in
the special thanks section. I think it will take some time for me
to figure out some more hints & tips for this FAQ. So, get ready
for the next update.

Like I said, I've added some more hints for this game. More to come
(maybe) but as I mentioned earlier, if you would like to share
something new (tips/hints) with this FAQ (which are not posted
yet), please e-mail them to me. Anyway, that's all for now.

I'm totally sorry for not making this MAJOR update earlier. I don't
really see it until now. I've done a new section in the 'List Of
Motorcycles' part under. I've added a small part for Cops Bikes.
Sorry again for this important update. Anyway, just scroll down for
more info.

Author's First Words:
``````````````````````````
Firstly, I would like to say thanks for reading this FAQ. I hope
I've really done a great job that can help you find some answers
you've wondered a long time. I provided some information that may
not really be helpful but I think it can still be added for your
own knowledge. I'd like to mention here that I didn't make any
guide or information for the Side Car (Co-op) & Side Car (Versus)
under the Multiplayer menu because the co-op mode, you can find the
courses in the Jailbreak mode while the versus mode, the courses
you can find in the mode Skull To Skull, so both of them are not
necessary. I also would like to apologize if I didn't make a full
guide or missed some important things that should be in this FAQ.
If you've detected any major problems regarding this FAQ, please e-
mail me as soon as possible (see my e-mail address above). If you
can't understand what I've written down here, please e-mail me and
I would be glad if you provide the subject (just write there 'Road
Rash Jailbreak'). Thank you again for spending your precious time
reading this FAQ. Happy reading!
1. Introduction
`````````````````
Have you ever heard of Spaz and Punt? They are looking for a
skilled rasher, and do you want to be one of them? So, get ready,
because I'm about to make you skilled and help them out.
Road Rash: Jailbreak is not only focusing on the full campaign
mode, but in this game, you can be a cop, race with your partner
and compete against the clock. Best of all, you got to knock all of
the rashers especially the gang leaders and the cops as well. If
you didn't know yet, you can view help by pressing the circle
button anytime and a menu will appear and that should help you out
a bit, in case you got into any trouble. There are three important
things you always should remember in this game; never get your bike
wrecked, never get busted by the cops and most importantly, never
ever give up hope. Do these things correctly and you'll be well on
your way to victory. So, pick up a mode and get started!

5. Info For Single Player
```````````````````````````
Welcome to the information part. This part will explain and give
information regarding the single player mode, which includes
Jailbreak, Five-O, and Time Trial. If you think it's hard to
understand my elaborations regarding this section, please e-mail me
and I'll make some changes for you to understand easier. If I
missed some important stuff, e-mail me too. Anyway, here they are:
A. Jailbreak: This part is the full campaign where you fight with
everyone and earn money and other stuffs. First of all, you'll see
a scene with Spaz and Punt riding motorcycles (they're not really
moving actually). After that scene, you'll come to a screen where
you have to select which team you want to be in. There are two
teams, which are:
DeSades & Kaffe Boys
DeSades:
        Captain - Draco Desade
        Wheels - Cruisers
        Leathers - Only with Chains
        M.O. - 'Cruise & Bruise'
 Description: Draco's boys - The Motley Cruisers. Straight-ahead
power, whether fist or throttle. Do you dare belong?
Kaffe Boys:
           Captain - Helmut Swizzlestick
           Wheels - Super Sports
           Leathers - Flashy Racing Variety
           M.O. - 'Lean & Scrape'
 Description: Helmut's crowd - Serious speed in the twisties, with
a mean kung fu streak. Red lined, white knuckled - No problem!
 Next, you'll have to make a decision. Just like what the game
says:
 'Now the choice is up to you. Draco and the DeSades' Cruisers or
the Kaffe Boys' Super Sports? Join a gang, pick an Alias and get to
business.' Anyway, if you want to know about the courses, check
 II) Jailbreak Info & Details:
 Rank - Grunt
Ok, this part, I'll give some info about the Jailbreak mode. Well,
you'll start as a Grunt first. Your only target now is to jack your
status to Lieutenant, which is the next rank; so winning is the
only way. First, start with your first race and just beat anyone
who is blocking your way. Well, I'll explain everything I know
about grunt level so here they are:
     Chances Of Winning - 93%
     Chances Of Losing - 23%
     Chances Of Getting Beaten Up - 17%
 Explanations - Grunt status is not very bad, because you can
easily win the game and your opponents are weaker than you or as
same as you (except for the Captains). Believe me, you can easily
get number 1 and most of the time you got to beat many opponents in
just one race (see the percentages above). One thing you'll always
have to remember when in your grunt days; don't care what rank
you're in, just keep a full concentration on the game and watch out
for your opponents and also for the obstacles.
 Level Progression: Well, this task is called 'The Gauntlet'.
First, you'll see a scene where Spaz is testing Punt on his skills
to beat 'it'. 'To reach Loo-tenant, you'll have to prove yourself
against the home team. Beat the clock and survive the Gauntlet.
Make Punt proud'. So, do you think you can? Never say no! This task
is a simple one. You'll just have to beat the time given in the
game. Just race and kick some rashers and you'll be fine. Just
don't get crashed to any trees and/or cars or it will definitely
slow you down. Good luck! When you've completed the race then
you'll see another scene where punt gets a new bike. So, be
careful. The next level are not going to be as easy as you thought.
 Rank - Lieutenant
Well, looks like you've made it. Congratulations! Well, you're not
finished with you mission. Still got to get to Captain which is the
next rank. Well, your rank goes up, but your target doesn't. Well,
to know if you have what it takes to become a skilled rasher and to
get away from Lieutenant rank, try your first level and I don't
really recommend skipping races. Just win them in order. To add to
your own knowledge, see the percentages below:
     Chances Of Winning - 75%
     Chances Of Losing - 40%
     Chances Of Getting Beaten Up - 43%
 Explanations - Don't ever think winning on this rank would be a
piece of cake. Dealing with it is quite tough but once you've
mastered it, you won't have any problems kicking those rashers. If
you want to be the first, make sure you put some efforts to it. It
won't come easy. Your chances of winning are good but losing
chances are also good enough to make you suffer. So, always focus
and keep it straight.
 Level Progression: You'll see a short scene where the cops busted
Spaz and stripped off his gear without his permission. He wants
revenge for the person that does that. 'Spaz demands revenge. Knock
the flashing officer Petrovich from her mighty perch with a few
well placed blows and Captain honors are yours'. Anyway, this is
what you have to do. First, you'll have to catch up against
Petrovich; the leader of the cops. Second, you'll need to take her
out. Kick her, punch her, do whatever you need to do with her until
she's down. Then, Captain honors are yours. Good Luck anyway!
Finally, you'll see a short scene where Punt talks to Spaz at the
jail using telephones. After the scene, get ready for your top and
final rank!
 Rank - Captain
At last, you've reached the highest rank in this game.
Congratulations! Don't be too happy, because you are going to fight
with tough opponents and chances of you getting number 1 are
decreasing. Make sure you've packed lots of experiences and gather
along with some hope and go for it. To make sure how good your
skills are and how well your winning chances going to be, see this
list:
     Chances Of Winning - 57%
     Chances Of Losing - 63%
     Chances Of Getting Beaten Up - 60%
 Explanations - Look at the above list. Looks like you REALLY need
some practices before you start racing. Put some efforts on it and
you'll be more than enough to continue. You can practice by racing
with your partner(s) or with anyone. Nothing comes easy. So, just
get those cops away from you as well as your opponents and a bit
more confidence in your self and you'll be fine. Just don't get
busted by the cops or get your bike wrecked.
 Jailbreak: 'The BIG moment has arrived. Take the sidecar to the
Oasis, bust Spaz out of the chain gang, and bring him home. The
clock's ticking'. This is it! After watching the scene where Punt
gets you a new bike (you'll know what you'll be riding up next
don't you?) Just get ready to use the sidecar. I recommend that you
practice with someone first in the Multiplayer menu using the Side
Car (Co-op) mode. Then, you'll be much more skilled in handling the
sidecar. Here's what you'll have to do. First, take the sidecar to
the place marked X (Oasis), and you'll see a bunch of cops and some
people wearing orange shirts. Well, one of them is Spaz. The plan
is to get Spaz out while the police are watching them working. So,
just drive through the cops but not the car or you'll ruin the
plan. Then your game should be on 'auto' mode. Spaz will run to
your sidecar and you'll have to get to the end of the bridge where
your teammates are awaiting you arrival. Attention: Do not crash
into anything or you might get busted because there are many cops
behind/in front of you. Good Luck!
Finally, you'll get a message where you've completed the Jailbreak
and watch the scene (I don't want to ruin the game for you).
B. Five-O: 'Pick your fugitive and nail 'em or fill the paddy wagon
with your arrest quota. Either way, do it before the clock runs out
and the Chief will be happy'. So, justice time! In this mode,
you'll be a cop (Cop'er) and hunt down your fugitives or pull down
your quota if you think it's too hard to catch up for them or
you're just bored to be in the chase. What's a good think being a
cop is to get powerful weapons and most of the time, you can win a
chase if your fugitive crashed into something and if you go near
that person you'll win the game and they'll be locked in the cell.
In this mode, there are three levels, which are Meter Maid,
Patrolman and Sergeant. The higher you go, the harder your enemies
to be locked in the cells. So, you might want to consider pulling
down your quota is a better choice. Well, I recommend that you
don't just skip to the next or to the last fugitive, when you can't
even defeat the first and the easiest escapee. So, catch them in
order is a better option. Anyway, here's a list about their height,
weight, rank, and warrant suspect number:
 Warrant Suspect Number - 0022140 - Mongo
 Height - 6 feet 3 inches
 Weight - 220 lbs
 Rank - Grunt
 Warrant Suspect Number - 0048962 - Jork AKA Jorg' noff
 Height - 6 feet 1 inch
 Weight - 190 lbs
 Rank - Grunt
 Warrant Suspect Number - 0015293 - Bull
 Height - 6 feet 4 inches
 Weight - 200 lbs
 Rank - Lieutenant
 Warrant Suspect Number - 0032667 - Tasha
 Height - 5 feet 7 inches
 Weight - 140 lbs
 Rank - Lieutenant
 Warrant Suspect Number - 0047730 - Draco
 Height - 5 feet 10 inches
 Weight - 200 lbs
 Rank - Captain
 Warrant Suspect Number - 0051708 - Helmut
 Height - 5 feet 7 inches
 Weight - 150lbs
 Rank - Captain
 Rank - Meter Maid
Nothing to worry in this level, because winning is always on your
side. Catching your fugitives are not hard, but if you want to
prepare some stuffs before your hunt begins, here's a list about
this rank and the fugitives:
     Time For This Rank - 3 minutes
     Quota - 4
 Mongo
 Description - Big on size but small on brains, he's an easy take
down. Find him huddled in the middle of the pack.
 Jork AKA Jorg' noff
 Description - An easy target for launting. Lay on a few quips
about his clothes or hair and he'll give you 'sufficient reason'.
 Bull
 Description - Bull has a record of repeatedly trying to resist
arrest. Use of excessive force is encouraged.
 Tasha
 Description - Tasha's Girl Rock band is popular on MP3 websites.
Stop her before she sings again.
 Draco
 Description - A Pro wrestler turned bad. If there was a law
against ugly, he'd still be Public enemy number 1.
 Helmut
 Description - Don't let his fake Austrian accent fool you. This
boy's from a trailer park sure as sap flows from trees.
 Rank - Patrolman
This level is easy, but it is just a bit more harder than the
previous rank. The fugitives in this rank are tougher and harder to
catch, so pulling down your quota raises your chance to win.
Anyway, see the list under for more information about your
fugitives:
     Time For This Rank - 4 minutes 15 seconds
     Quota - 5
 Mongo
 Description - Mongo jumped bail, your first assignment as a
C. Time Trial: This mode is where you come to break an existing
record. So, what you are worrying about? Don't fret; as long as
you're not slowing down or get busted by the cops, you'll have
opportunity to beat the clock. Here's a hint. Try not to crash into
anything (trees, cars, etc.) or you will fail. Don't believe me, go
ahead and try. Once you crashed into anything, this will slow you
down and you won't make it. So, show the clock some real fights and
start breaking the records already! Anyway, here's some information
````````````````````
8. List Of Weapons
````````````````````
In this section, I'll explain and give some information about the
weapons and their ability to knock down an opponent. All of these
weapons are listed by orders. One last thing, you must remember
that only you, and no one else can get your weapon recharged.
Anyway, here they are:
 Fist: One of the most often used weapon. It is very useful and
handy when you can't hit your opponent with any other weapons or
you just have no choice. This is also used to hit the Captains
especially if they're using powerful weapons (this is recommended).
 Ability To Handle - 75%
 Power - 45%
 Spray: Hard to get and hard to be used. Although managing it is
tough, the power of this weapon is tremendous! Use this when
someone is chasing after you from the back. Hold it longer and it
will be more powerful. While some people would like to use this to
the Captains, I recommend that you don't and please never try to
attempt this. You may do this (it's all up to you), but again, I
wouldn't recommend it. Sometimes, 'one' hit would be enough to
knock someone down.
 Ability To Handle - 65%
 Power - 95%
 Cattle Prod (Electric): A very often used weapon by the cops. They
act fairly fast and have an accurate hit (most of the time).
Powerful but also easy to be stolen, so be careful all the time. It
is very effective in near range, but gets defective when you hit
your opponent in a long range. It is just the same as the spray,
because if you hold it for a while, it becomes more powerful!
 Ability To Handle - 55%
 Power - 90%
 Cattle Prod (Fire): Just the same as the above weapon, but this
weapon is a bit different. It gives out sparks of fire instead of
blue electric. The power is just as same as the electric cattle
prod and can be powerful too if it is pressed longer.
 Ability To Handle - 55%
 Power - 90
 Crowbar: This weapon acts fast and powerful too. This is one of my
favorite weapons that I love to use, especially its combo move.
This weapon is really effective when you're up against the
Lieutenants and Captains. But I think you'll pretty much screw up
if your opponent is using a cattle prod.
 Ability To Handle - 88%
 Power - 85%
 Nun-Chuck: This weapon acts slow, but although its speed is poor,
it power is incredible! Just two to three hits would be enough to
knock off a Lieutenant! Mostly Gr Jork and Cp Helmut use this
weapon. But sometimes you won't have enough time to react fast and
you'll get knock off. Just don't fight with this weapon if your
opponent is using the fist.
 Ability To Handle - 52%
 Power - 80%
 Stick: This weapon is not really widely used up in the crowd. Even
though it's a bit not famous, it can still help you knock off those
riders! It hits well, and acts quickly too! You don't have to worry
because this weapon has a moderate power.
 Ability To Handle - 75%
 Power - 79%
 Billy Club: Just the same as the weapon above. It's combos are the
same. Although they have some similarities, this weapon is bit more
common used. Its attack and power are nearly the same.
 Ability To Handle - 75%
 Power - 78%
 Bat: Just the same as the crowbar, but the sound it makes when it
hits someone is different. It is a good substitute for the crowbar
because it's nearly the same as it. This weapon is good when
someone is using the fist.
 Ability To Handle - 86%
 Power - 83%
 Chain: My second best weapon that I love! This weapon is very easy
to manage, and its authority is ideal for the Captains! It comes
very handy when facing with any types of opponents, but be caution,
this weapon is easy to be stolen too.
 Ability To Handle - 87%
 Power - 88%
10. Hints & Tips
``````````````````
Ok, so you want to check some hints for this game as well as some -
additional tips? You've came to the right place! I'll give some
tips and of course, hints for this game (as far as I know) and if
you got any other suggestions it would be nice to be written down
here (of course your name will be listed in the special thanks
part). I didn't list any cheat codes because they are always
available at this site. Anyway, here are some hints and tips that I
know so far:

1. You can get the cattle prod easily by using your fist and steal
it from a cop. After that, he'll change to the spray weapon and you
might as well get that too. Be careful, you might get busted!

2. If you attempt to find another way to win a race, you'll never
win because the miles that has been stated in the race info is not
the same as the one in your current game.

3. To get up quickly to your bike instead of running to it, just
press the triangle button each time you got up from a crash.

4. Wheelie over cars (normal ones) by pressing the x button twice
and don't attempt this on trucks, although they might work
sometimes.

5. Hitch a ride and travel on the car by pressing the wheelie
button and quickly press the square button to brake (not on trucks,
please). Then, you'll be stuck above the car. Be warned that if
anyone crashes on that same car, you'll crash too!

6. In the sidecar (Co-op) mode, if your partner is hitting an
opponent on his side, you can help him. Simply hit any buttons that
hits an opponent on your side and he'll have the same damage as
what you just did.

7. You can win a race with an easier way. First, you must have at
least 2 to 3 nitro with you. Then, when it is almost near the
finish line, quickly boost by pressing down and x buttons (twice)
and the down button and you'll you have more chances to win, the
easy way. Remember that you must at least be at position 8 or 10.

8. You can get in a fight easy. Just press the taunt button (L2)
and opponents will chase you and gets you into trouble (sometimes).

9. In the 5-0 mode, you can win a round easier by pulling down your
quota. It is easier than to chase after you fugitives especially
Draco and Helmut.

10. If you got into any trouble, such as being busted, loses to a
race, failed to catch you fugitive, or other stuffs, just restart
by pressing the start button and choose it from there. It should
help you out.

11. You can also drown yourself by going to the side of the beach,
and crash into a car and you or your bike will be thrown out into
the sea and you'll drown. Then, it will say that your bike has
wrecked. This is just for fun to do.

12. If you take the Time Trial mode and go somewhere else to
explore, once you've went far enough, you'll automatically stop and
that's the end of the race.

13. Here's a hint. If you want to crash your opponents easier, look
for some high jumps and aim for them. Then, quickly boost for
better acceleration and jump above them. This way, you may crash
them. Be warned however, that you could crash as well.

14. This hint is quite similar to the above one, but not really.
You can get a another way to crash your opponents simply by going
the opposite way their heading to. In this way, you will crash, and
bring along your opponent(s) with you. Also be warned, that don't
attempt this if a cop is nearby.

15. Don't try to corner too seriously, otherwise you be rolling
down on the road. However, if you release the acceleration button,
you'll be okay.

Note: More hints/tips will be added if I found any new ones.
