When your protecting larger ships make sure you stay close because if you wonder away the enemy will seize the opertunity to attack the ship and destroy it.
So when a ship wonders away leave it because it will soon come back for unother fight
Cheat mode
Enter the following combo at the mission select screen:
Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, L1 + R1, L2 + R2.
The screen should then flash. (ooo!)
You can then access new cheat functions when you pause the game.
Unlock Everything
At the level selection screen(stellar cartography)enter the following:
up,left,down,right,up,right,up,down,left,up,L1+R1,L2+R2.
If entered correctly, a message should appear.
