I got the answer through simple trial and error. That is, I kept restarting until the combination was correct. The answers are 1)Gather information-Blutzen and Kohel, 2)Protect the townsfolk-Weimar and Hagen, 3)Contact Lindblum-Breireicht and Laudo, and lastly, 4)Prepare the cannons-Dojebon and Mullenkedheim. You get a great prize for getting these right! Don't forget to go to the library to fight the monster in the book!
