Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include creating rockets and bombs and collecting gift boxes.
The main mechanic of the game is breaking blocks and this is achieved by having at least two blocks touching one another in order to be able to tap them so they are eliminated. The bigger the connection you have the more points you will be awarded for breaking them apart at once. The objective therefore is to try and create large grids to disperse them all out quickly.
In each level you will encounter blockers, these are obstacles that are placed between you and the lifesaver. You can easily tackle these problems by doing the followng.
Bubbles
Bubbles can be removed from the gameboard by either blasting them with a booster or moving blocks inside the bubble then clearing the blocks to make the bubble pop.
Flower Block
Large flowers will cover the blocks you need to clear. You need to match next to the flower so that it drops its petals and lets you through.
Virus Plant
Virus plants will occupy space and replace blocks if you don't get rid of them from the game board. Remove these intrusive weeds by matching next to them.
Ice Blocks
To clear ice blocks you need to make matches right next to them.
Once you have connected enough blocks you will be able to summon rockets and bombs on to the game board. The game will inform you when you can do this by changing the icon on the blocks accordingly. Rockets are able to shoot either horizontally or vertically depending on the direction of the arrow on the block before you tap it and bombs will explode in a large area around them.
Rockets
Rockets are created by placing 6 blocks of the same colour next to each other in any formation.
Bombs
Bombs are created by tapping on 9 blocks of the same colour. All 9 blocks need to be adjacent to each other.
A rocket bomb can be made by combining rockets and bombs with each other. A rocket bomb will clear three rows in whichever direction the rocket was facing before you tapped it. Two bombs combined together will create a larger explosion than one bomb, while two rockets will both just shoot off in both directions.
Boosters are created in the level as you play. Whenever blocks of the same colour are alongside each other in right the quantities a shape will appear of the booster on the blocks. Below is a list of the boosters that are available in the game.
Line Blaster Booster
Matching colours in groups of 6-8 blocks.
Bomb Booster
Match colours in groups of 9-13 blocks.
Colour Pop Booster
Match colours in groups of 14 or more blocks.
The Super Booster
Deals one hit to every block on the board.
Merged Line Blaster
Deals one hit to all blocks in a row and column.
Big 'Piñata' Bomb
Deals one hit to 36 blocks surrounding it.
Block Hammer
Deals one hit to the target you select.
Block Shuffle
Randomly shuffles and relocates the colour blocks on the board.
When you complete a level under a certain time you will be rewarded with a timed bonus. These are as follows:
2 x Score
Multiplies your score so you can hit those targets with even fewer turns.
+2 x Moves
Gives two extra turns on the level so you can make that target.
1 x Free Shot
An extra turn with a booster picked at random for free.
It is important that before you start a mission you understand its objectives as you only have a limited number of moves to accomplish it. Most of the objectives are straight forward and will usually be removing blocks of a certain colour, hatching eggs, and removing shrubs and ice blocks.
One of the primary objectives is to rescue pets by matching blocks below them so you can bring them closer to lifesavers. In most of the levels you will have to bring the pets down to the lifesavers but in the levels where you need to aid the chimp along a grassy vine you will be required to bring him up to the lifesavers by matching blocks from bottom to top.
On the levels that have a big bear present you can tickle him by tapping boosters that are next to him so that he clears obstacles out of the way. The bear will clear the two rows of blocks directly underneath it.
Whe the objective of a level is to hatch eggs you need to matching 2 or more blocks of the same colour beside a half-hatched egg to hatch is so that the chicks fly to safety.
You can get recieve additional hearts (level retries) by checking in with your pets at your home and fullfilling any request bubbles they may have above their head. These tend to be feeding, playing, washing, or adorning them with a piece of clothing. This is achieved by selecting the pet with the bubble floating over their head and spending the indicated paw coins.
You will receive a gift box once every 24 hours at your home or for completing a certain level. The 24-hour gift box will have the best rewards enclosed within them so it is advised that you set aside one of your pets to retrieve it.
You can swap out the rooms at your home by tapping on the wrench icon. As you progress through the game completing levels you will unlock more room from which to choose from.
